After coming to the horrifying realization that Luz had been bitten by Dracula, Luz was gripped by fear and terror as she began to hyperventilate. 

Luz: N...no.....no! This...this can't be happening! This can't be happening! I....I don't want to turn into a Vampire! Please....help me....

As Luz began to panic, Amity was on the verge of tears as she hugged Luz. Eda began enraged at this and lashed out at Van Helsing. 

Eda: Goddamn you! You said you'd keep her safe! I should've came with you! None of this would've happened!

Van Helsing: There is still time to save Miss Noceda! 

Luz: H...how?! I've been bitten.....

Van Helsing: Which is why we must move quickly! 

Van Helsing glanced over to the fireplace still burning. In that moment, Van Helsing cleared a nearby table. 

Van Helsing: Lay down on this table, Miss Noceda. 

Without hesitation, Luz laid down on the table. Everyone showed great concern for Luz. 

Willow: Luz....

Gus: What's going to happen to her? Is she going to turn....

Van Helsing: I will not allow it! 

Van Helsing then inspects his cannister of Holy Water. To his relief, there was still Holy Water. 

Van Helsing: Thank God. Everyone, I need you all to listen to me very closely and do exactly as I say. I need everyone to stay calm and do not panic. There is still time for us to save Miss Noceda from becoming an unholy abomination like Dracula. 

Hooty: HOOT! HOOT! I SENSE EVIL IN THIS HOUSE! 

Eda/King: Not helping, Hooty!

Amity: Please! You have to save Luz! I....I can't bear the thought of her turning into one of those things....

Amity glanced over to Luz. To see the girl she loved like this caused great pain within Amity. Van Helsing placed his hand on Amity's shoulders and offered a comforting smile.

Van Helsing: Miss Blight, you have my word that we will not allow Dracula to take Luz. 

Amity took great comfort in Van Helsing's words. 

Emira: So what's the plan? 

Van Helsing: I need Miss Noceda to be restrained. For me to save Luz, she must be kept still. 

Willow: I can help out with that. 

Willow then uses her Plant Magic to form several vines to restrain Luz. Once Luz was restrained, Van Helsing ran over to the fireplace. He then places the fire poker within the fire. As he does so, he thinks back to when he found Jonathan Harker turned into a Vampire. 

Van Helsing: (I was too late to save you, Jonathan. I will not let this girl meet your fate, my friend.)

As Van Helsing resolved himself to prevent Luz from meeting the same fate as his late friend Jonathan Harker, Van Helsing grabbed the fire poker from the fire. The tip of the fire poker was boiling hot, perfect for what he needed to do. Van Helsing then approached Luz with the fire poker. Eda immediately steps in.

Eda: What the hell are you doing?!

Van Helsing: I'm trying to save Miss Noceda!

Eda: With a burning hot fire poker? I don't think so! 

Van Helsing: We don't have time for this, Miss Clawthorne! We only have a limited amount of time before Miss Noceda falls to Dracula's Curse! If we fail, then the Luz Noceda you know will cease to exist! She will merely be a shell, possessed and corrupted by the evil of Dracula. This is the only way to save Miss Noceda's life! 

Eda was still hesitant to trust Van Helsing. In her mind, it was his fault that Luz was bitten by Dracula. 

Van Helsing: I know you care deeply about Luz. But I need you to trust me. Please. 

As Van Helsing said this, Eda glanced over to Luz who was restrained by Willow's vines. 

Eda: Kid? 

Luz: It's....it's okay, Eda. I trust him. 

Taking a deep breath, Eda allows Van Helsing to pass. As Van Helsing approaches Luz, the professor inspects Luz. 

Van Helsing: How are you feeling? 

Luz: W...weird. Like I'm....changing....

Van Helsing: Do not fear, Miss Noceda. This change will not happen. 

As Van Helsing said this, she glanced over to Amity who was beside her. Luz tightly gripped her hand and smiled. 

Luz: No te preocupes. Todo va a estar bien mi batata hermosa.

As Luz said this, Van Helsing pressed the boiling fire poker against the part of the neck where Luz had been bitten. Luz screamed in agonizing pain as she tightly squeezed Amity's hand. Luz began to frantically move, but Willow's fines kept Luz in place. Amity began to cry at the sounds of Luz's screams. 

Amity: Luz! LUZ! 

As Luz continued to scream, Van Helsing positioned Luz's bite mark and begins pouring holy water on it. After that, the screaming stopped. Amity immediatey fear for Luz's well being. 

Amity: Luz! Luz! Batata...please....

Van Helsing then inspects the bite mark. At first, he saw the burns that the fire poker caused. But after a moment, the burns disappeared to reveal that the bite marks were also gone. 

Edric: Whoa....

King: What did you do to Luz?! 

Van Helsing: I purged the curse of the Vampire from Luz's body. 

Amity: Is she.....

Van Helsing: Yes. She is safe, free from the curse of the Vampire. 

Amity breathed a sigh of relief as she tightly hugged the unconscious Luz. Everyone in the Owl House breathed a sigh of relief knowing that Luz was not going to transform into a Vampire. In that moment, Van Helsing had saved Luz from the curse of Dracula.
