At the Owl House, Van Helsing began preparing the Owl House. He gathered what few supplies that survived with him during his slumber. He placed various wolfsbane flowers and garlic all over the windows and doors to the Owl House. He took the time to bless various areas around the house.

King: Sheesh. All those flowers are really smelling the place up.

Van Helsing: This is for your protection. Vampires are rebelled by both Garlic and Wolfsbane. This will keep any Vampire out of the house, making the Owl House a safe haven from the Undead.

Luz: I still can't believe we're actually fighting Vampires...

Van Helsing: Fear not, Luz. As I said, I spent my life studying these creatures so that I may destroy them.

Amity: What's our plan now?

Van Helsing looked outside to see the Sun still in the sky. He then turns to Emira and Edric.

Van Helsing: Did you see Dracula leave the house?

Emira: I....I don't think so.

Van Helsing: Then we may have an opportunity. With the Sun up, Dracula will have taken refuge in the Manor.

Edric: Are you saying we go back and face that....that thing?!

Van Helsing: Dracula will be resting in his coffin. And based what you have told me, Dracula already has a living servant to watch over his coffin while he sleeps. If we move now, then we can destroy Dracula.

As Van Helsing said this, Amity was the first to volunteer along with Luz. Willow and Gus joined as well. But as Eda was about to join, Van Helsing stopped her.

Van Helsing: I need you here, Miss Clawthorne.

Eda: Like hell I am!

Van Helsing: I need you here to maintain the protections I have placed in the Owl House.

Eda: I'm better off helping the kid fight this Dracula guy.

Luz: It's okay, Eda. We're in good hands. Professor Van Helsing knows what he's doing.

Eda was hesitant about staying at the Owl House while Luz went off to fight Dracula. But after some time, Eda relents.

Eda: You bring her back, Van Helsing.

Van Helsing: You have my word.

With that, Van Helsing along with Luz, Amity, Willow and Gus departed from the Owl House while Eda, King, Emira and Edric stayed behind. When they reached the Blight Manor, Amity took a deep breath.

Luz: It's okay, Sweet Potato. We'll kick Dracula out of your home.

Van Helsing: Once we're inside, do not let your guard up. Even as he slumbers, Dracula is still every bit as dangerous. Take these. They will protect you.

Van Helsing then hands Luz and her friends crucifixes as a means of personal protection against Dracula. As they entered the Blight Manor, they found a dimly lit building. Van Helsing was all too familiar with this kind of environment. Luz and the other stayed close to Van Helsing as they navigated through the narrow corridors of the Blight Manor. The darkness made Amity feel like a stranger in her own home. As she began to breathe heavily, Luz clutched her hand to comfort her. As they moved through the narrow corridors, Amity guided them to her mother's study.

Amity: This....this is my mother's study.

Van Helsing: We've still haven't found any sign of your mother or Dracula's living servant. We must be cautious.

With that, Van Helsing took the lead as he slowly opened the door to Odalia's study. In the study was a makeshift coffin. Luz and the others were stunned at the sight. Van Helsing remained calm.

Van Helsing: This has to be his coffin.

Van Helsing then slowly moved on the coffin. When he got close to the coffin, he opened it to see Dracula sleeping. Without hesitation, he readied the stake. Suddenly, Renfield pushed past Luz and the others.

Renfield: MASTER!

Before Van Helsing could stake Dracula, Dracula woke up and lashed out at Van Helsing. The two mortal enemies then locked eyes with one another.

Dracula: Van Helsing....I was hoping time had rid me of you....

Van Helsing: You will not live to see the next night, Count!

Dracula gnashed his fangs, Luz and her friends stepped in to defend Van Helsing. Renfield then used Abomination Magic to form several clones of himself. As chaos broke out in the Blight Manor, Luz found herself face to face with Dracula.

Dracula: A Human....hailing from the land of Hispaniola.

Luz: You....you won't win! We'll stop you!

As Luz prepares several Light Glyphs, Dracula lunged at Luz and grabbed her by the throat. Luz struggled to free herself from Dracula's grasp, but the Vampire proved too strong for her.

Luz: Let....let me go!

Dracula: Van Helsing has led you astray. Whatever power you wield....shall serve me!

Meanwhile, Van Helsing along with Amity and the others battled against Renfield and his Abomination Clones. Suddenly, Luz's high pitched scream was heard.

Amity: LUZ!

Amity then summoned a giant Abomination to attack Renfield and the Abominations. Willow then restrains Renfield as Van Helsing and the others rushed to see Luz using a Light Glyph to attack Dracula. This attack freed herself from Dracula's clutches.

Amity: Luz!

Luz: I'm...I'm okay....

Van Helsing looked outside to see the Sun beginning to set.

Van Helsing: The Sun is beginning to set. We must retreat!

With that, Van Helsing along with Luz and the others fled the Blight Manor. But as the Sun began to set, Dracula made no attempt to pursue them. When they reached the Owl House, Eda and King quickly rushed to them.

Eda: Did you get the bastard?

Van Helsing: No. It appears that Dracula has regained much of his former strength.

Luz: It's okay, we'll find a way. We'll...

As Luz clutched her neck, Van Helsing grabbed Luz's hand and inspected her neck. To everyone's shock and horror, they saw bite marks on Luz's neck.
