Bing Bong, Ding Dong

I rubbed my eyes open as the Monokuma announcement went off. And went to the restaurant.

"Hey Nagito are you here yet?" I saw Hajime's body froze so I walked past him to see Akane choking him out on the ground.

"Playtimes over. Now where'd you hide the bombs?" "That's hurts but I'll never tell. If you really want me to spit it out, you should try torturing me or something."

He was so calm in this situation However I was not. "I need to push her off of him." I mumbled to myself.

"Maybe you can stab my fingers with that fork over there, or scoop my eyes out with that spoon. If you're not willing to fill me with despair, there's no way my hope will ever bre...gh....ghhhh!"

His face began to turn red. "That's fine with me die already." Akane grip gotten tighter and tighter.

I charge my body up and kicked her so she fell off of him. "Are you okay?" Nagito began gasping for air.

I took a look at his neck to see her hand prints, I then remember once ago I was being choked almost to death by one of my step brothers.

"[Name] you can die too!" She slammed my body down and wrapped her hands around my neck.

"What the hell is going on?" Fuyuhiko said angrily. "A-Akane!?" Sonia yelped.

I glanced at Nagito who was still gasping for air. "It's fine kill me if you want, I hope you die in despair also." I smiled at her.

That's when Chiaki slapped Akane. "Calm down, okay?" She lets me go and I began to cough a little.

"You wouldn't do that right? You're not the type to hurt someone. Right?" Chiaki held onto her hands.

"See, it's all right. Yep no problem." Nagito then thanks me and helps me up.

"Thanks Akane, I got to see my dead dog again. I have seen him in ages."

Hmm I wonder what kind of dog he had, also I didn't know he was a dog guy. He looks more like a cat person.

"I did. Until yesterday." Nagito chuckling snapped me back to reality.

"Hey Nagito what did you mean by until yesterday?" Hajime asked and everyone perked up.

"Well there was nothing but a familiar scenery. I got bored of it. Also if I hid them in there, it would be completely meaningless."

He sighed. "So even if you learned the password of the ancient ruin, it has no meaning anymore."

"But they were inside the ruins right?" Chiaki asked him and he was quite.

"Yes indeed they were." I answer for him. "It's a good thing I moved them before the traitor confessed. I need everyone's hope to shine even brighter!"

I gagged at that remark. "Hope doesn't feel any better."

"Let's begin the final battle. The final battle between the traitor and everyone else. The final battle between hope and despair."

A small smile formed on my face, things sure are getting exciting again.

"Wh-What the heck?" Hajime mumbled.

"It's going to be fine. I'm pretty sure everything will work out in the end. After all there's no way hope can lose. Absolute hope that can break through any despair can never lose in the first place like this!"

But how true is that? How can you be so confident in hope? I glanced at him, he was giving a genuine smile.

"And not only that, I believe in you all. I believe in the time we spent together."

Maybe the same way I can believe in despair so confidently. "And more than anything I believe in mines and [Name's] talent!"

He pulled me next to him and gave his usual laugh. I smiled. He always believed in my talent since we met.

We both exist the restaurant. "I'm assuming your plan is going to begin now." He nods

"So the fireworks should be going off soon right?" He laughed. "Yes in about 30 minutes."

We went to his cottage to grab the gas mask and to destroy some evidence, not all of it. After that we made our way down to the warehouse.

"Means we got about 30 minutes to set up everything." I frowned and he pat my head and smiled. "It'll be okay."

We were setting up his own death. It's hurts a lot and I'm not trying to cry so he can get everything perfect.

"I'll line up everything, you just lie down and do what you have to do." He nods.

"[Name] I-" Nagito pulled me into a hug and didn't let go.

"Thank you for helping me out. Thank you for being there for me. And thank you for giving this worthless person, hope."

Everything is about to end.

"I should be thanking you Nagito. Now let's complete what you worked hard for." I smiled and he kissed my forehead.

I lined up the Monokuma bears, made sure the grenade bottles were ready for them to throw and other things.

"I finished." I went by his side and sat down. "Make sure you keep that gas mask on until you know it's cleared out." I nod.

"I love you a lot [Name], I'm glad we got to meet. I hope I can continue to give you hope even in death. That's my only wish for you."

I felt my eyes water but I made sure no tears fell.

"I love you too Komaeda. Thank you for always believing me. Thank you so much for showing me something I longed for. I love you so much it hurts."

I gripped my chest and smiled. "I won't ever regret coming to Hope's Peak and meeting you."

I kissed him and he returned that kiss. "You were my first love. Thank you." He told me. "So were you."

After that he stabbed both of his legs, and his right hand all while holding onto the spear hanging above him.

Since he had tape covering his mouth you only heard the mumbled screams. I just sat and watched it.

"What if I did this?" I climbed on top of him and his eyes widened and he shook his head no.

"Would you be in despair? Would this count as being killed by someone I love? In the end I wouldn't have to shoulder the pain of your death."

I slide my hand down his face, it was getting cold. "After you inhale the gas I should get on top of you so we can die together. That's what I hope for, I hope we can be together in death."

I smiled despite the tears falling down my face. "But I won't ruin what you worked so hard for." I get off of him.

"Because I just love you a lot." Tears began to fall down his eyes also.

"Let's remember this moment...forever." I gave him my best smile as they bust the door opened.

"I love you Komaeda." I pulled the gas mask down and scooted back a little.

This is the despair I begged so much for, was it worth it?
