You glanced around, fiddling with your own fingers. You had somehow forgotten about the gash on your cheek, leaving it to bleed as it pleases, staining your cheek with dried blood. It was the least of your problems right now... everything Usami, no Monomi, had explained just... took a sudden turn for the worst.

"It's impossible... why is something impossible happening?" Kazuichi ran his fingers through his hair, his face as blue as the ocean.

"Well, it's not... really impossible." Byakuya started. "Those monobeasts or whatever they're called, are machines. Thus, Monokuma must also be the same... as long as they're machines... It's means someone made then, and must be controlling them."

"Who could be responsible...? Why were we put into this unexplainable situation?" Peko asked calmly, sweat rolling down her cheek.

"Hey, who is it? Who!?" Mahiru raised her voice at everyone, completely convinced someone present was the mastermind behind all this.

"No matter how confused or upset you may be, I don't mind. However, remember this... I don't know who in the world I'd orchestrating this but... we don't need to be cautious of those machines... or even out whoever is controlling them..." Byakuya paused, glancing at you.

You crossed your arms to your chest and smirked. "Oh, I see..."

All attention turned from Byakuya to you.

"I guess you're going to tell us to be cautious.. of ourselves." You opened your eyes and raised your head, glancing at every individual person present in Jabberwock Park. You didn't realise they were surrounding you like a wall. Of course, after you said those words..
doubt and despair painted almost everyone's face.

You rested your palms on your waist and sighed. "Being brought to a beautiful tropical island with complete strangers, and in order to escape we have to kill each other. That creates fear in our minds, and the desire to escape that hopeless fear... It's our worst enemy... right Byakuya? Did I... guess your words correctly?"

You made eye contact with the blonde-haired progeny as everyone else looked around, staring at one another. It was obvious on all their faces, their expressions that everyone...was forced to admit that they had that potential.

You had no clue if anyone would go through with it, but you weren't certain that they wouldn't. Once your suspicious of something, you'll start to be suspicious of everything... even yourself. How can you trust someone when you can't even trust yourself? That's why it felt hopeless.

As we all parted ways to go to the cabin or the restaurant I chose to stay, I didn't know why. But why does Monokuma want us to kill each other. What a strange bear.

"Hey (y/n), are you okay?" Haijime asked me with a hint of concern in his voice.

"Oh don't worry about little ol' me, I'm fine." I told him as I flashed him a smile.

"Alright then I'll be going n- wait what happened to your cheek? You need to get that cleaned up right away (y/n)."

He began to touch around the scar, his hot hands felt good against my cold cheeks.

"U-umm y-yeah I will." My face heating up. I attempted to hide my blushing from Haijime.

"Alright bye (y/n) see you in the morning." Haijime then smiled and left.

"Yeah..bye.." I looked over and saw Nagito. "I wonder why he's still standing there, maybe he is thinking things out like me."

I sighed because this would turn into a hassle for most people.

"Hey! Nagito!" I shouted.

"Oh yes (y/n)?" Nagito replied.

"Nothing much just wanted to say goodnight that all!" I said all bubbly.

"Ah yes night (y/n)..." He said in a sad tone.

"Hmm why do you sound sad, wait let me guess... you're thinking why is she taking to someone as pathetic as me..." Your tone went from bubbly to sad.

"Haha, sorry I'll just go goodnight." Nagito said.

And with that he left.

"I wonder what's the matter with him... it could be because of the trip but then again I don't think it is. I better go its really late, lets see how tomorrow will go. Game on Monokuma."
