15.
"Do you know where those two were today? They were at the beach house." Peko informed everyone.
"But I didn't go to the beach house today." Hiyoko whined. I didn't say anything, for once I kept quite.
Hajime piped in. "Wait a minute. You should've been at the beach house, Hiyoko."
"Seriously I told you I didn't!"
"But these footprints in the sand in front of the beach house, aren't they yours." Hajime questioned her.
"I-I don't have such ugly footprints! Maybe their (Y/n's)" She shouted.
"My feet are a little bigger than yours." I crossed my arms.
"Huh? They're not Hiyoko's shoe footprints? That's strange... The footprint I collected from your room matches these footprints perfectly." Nagito said.
Hiyoko was stunned. "C-Collected? I never gave you permission to collect that, you nasty pedo!"
"Plus the footprints left in the sand were facing away from the beach house. Which means when the owner of these footprints went inside the beach house, they used a different entrance." Peko spoke up.
"Are you talking about the door Mahiru's body was against?" Mikan wondered.
"Are you saying when that person went inside the beach house, the body hadn't appeared yet?!" Nekomaru shouted.
"Well I told you idiots I didn't go!" The brat shouted.
"Why do you keep denying the fact you weren't at the beach house? I helped you out of the closet you were in, remember Hiyoko?" I told her.
"Ah, I remember now! I went to the beach house for my morning walks." She chimed.
Akane smiled. "I see. If you went there durin' your morning walk, that doesn't have anything to do with the case at all."
Fuyuhiko shouted at Akane. "Don't believe her so easily you dumbass! Obviously she's lying."
"People who call other people liars are usually liars themselves. If you say I'm lying then prove it! Can you even prove that I'm lying!?" Hiyoko snapped.
"Kyahahahaha! There's no way that a bunch of worthless idiots like you can do that!"
I scoffed at her. "I just said I saw you in there, you left out screaming, 'Please don't kill me!' After I helped you out the closet."
Everyone was confused. "If Mahiru was here Hiyoko she wouldn't want you to lie. And if you know you did nothing then be honest." I told her nicely.
She frowned. "Fine I was there but I only went because I got letter from Mahiru saying to meet here at 2:00pm, and I did."
Hajime frowned. "Let me see that letter." As Hiyoko handed him the letter, Hajime face shown confusion.
"They're practically the same it's just the times are 30 minutes off. Hiyoko did you write these?" Hajime asked.
"No I didn't write those, I found one of them in my mailbox." Hiyoko said.
"Maybe (Y/n) wrote them, that's why you were at the beach house in the first place. I even saw you go there around 2." Peko suggested.
"Yeah? So what if I went there. I was lying down on the beach, and I went to sleep. Actually the only reason I found Hiyoko was because my dream kept telling me to save her." I scoffed at Peko.
"A dream?" Sonia asked. "Indubility! And the hero I am I saved Hiyoko." I cheered.
"Oh snap I totally remembered I saw Hiyoko running away from the beach house. Hajime and I were going to the beach around 3pm. But I saw you around 3:30 pm." Kazuichi said.
"Maybe Hiyoko helped (Y/n)." Peko wondered.
"The one who kills the person can leave not the both of them. Dumbass." I say slightly irritated. "Why would she help me?"
"Y-You're wrong. You're totally wrong!" Hiyoko whined.
"Fuyuhiko you went past the diner too, so you should've saw her also." Kazuichi added.
"No I didn't. It's just a coincidence that I passed by the diner. I wasn't even paying attention to the beach house." Fuyuhiko scoffed.
"I went straight back to my cottage after I saw you guys. I didn't see anyone during that time."
I cocked my head confused. I saw Peko and Fuyuhiko together before I went to the beach. If an hour passed then why was he still over there?
"Hiyoko hid in the closet and waited to kill Mahiru. There's even a gummy candy for evidence." Peko said.
"Then where was I?" I questioned her. She jumped a bit. "You must've hid else where in the beach house." She added. I trailed off. "Where else could I hide?"
"Who eats gummy candy, that's childish." Hiyoko scoffed.
"Hiyoko, who summoned Mahiru to the beach house, hid inside the closet like a familiar. When she saw her chance to attack her like an evil spirit, and left the beach house like a swift wind." Gundham went on.
"But either Hiyoko or (Y/n) miscalculated that Mahiru's body would be blocking the door at that time. Because of that they were able to leave from the beach side door, leaving footprints." Peko stated.
"It's a trap. The killer is setting up a trap. The one who wore that mask did it." Hiyoko said.
"You or (Y/n) wore the mask and killed Mahiru." Akane said sternly.
"They're no way I'd ever wear something that childish! Is your brain fried or something?!" Hiyoko shouted.
"Hmm, a mask? Nope, not me." I told them.
"Is it true Hiyoko dropped that gummy?" Hajime questioned.
I rubbed my chin. "I'm obviously guessing but Hiyoko doesn't eat that brand. Right?"
"The brand of gummies you eat only have strawberry, melon, grape and orange flavors, right?" Nagito questioned her.
"B-But the one at the crime scene was yellow, for lemon." Mikan spoke out timidly.
"Then that wasn't mine! The one's I eat don't have yellow gummies." Hiyoko yelled.
"What?" Peko whispered.
Nagito beamed. "That's right, none of the gummy in her cottage had any yellow ones."
"Then we can't assume Hiyoko dropped that gummy." Chiaki said.
"And Hiyoko seems too clean since she killed someone." I piped in, knowing I am just making my case worse.
"She could've used the showers dumbass." Fuyuhiko mumbled.
"No the showers doesn't work, so there's no way she done that." Hajime informed him.
"Then maybe she took off her clothes, killed her and then put them back on." Fuyuhiko yelled those stupid accusations.
"What!? I wouldn't do anything perverted like that!" Hiyoko shouted.
"Plus the dummy can't even get dressed by herself, remember she can't tie her stupid outfit." I laughed.
"Oh yeah that's why she was smelling bad." Akane laughed.
"So that means Hiyoko can't be the killer." Hajime stated.
"Then it has to be (Y/n)." Peko said sternly.
I sighed. "Here we go."
"Those must've been your footprints in the sand and in the blood." Peko said.
"Yeah they are." I admitted.
"What?! She admitting to it very easily." Ibuki shouted.
"If I play games would it bring you into despair?" I beamed.
"Physic (Y/n) did you kill Mahiru?" Gundham questioned me.
I tapped my chin. "No, I actually didn't. I went to the beach after Nagito and I had our long talk, and I saw Peko and Fuyuhiko. I told them where I was going, down by the beach to lay down."
I sighed. "Then I went to sleep, and while I was sleeping I had a dream and it was all like, 'There's about to be a murder, wake up! That's what I'm guessing' 'The murder is happening right now, maybe you should get up.' '(Y/n) go save the little dancer brat!'"
Everyone looked at you odd. "You had a dream that warned you about it?" Hajime asked. I nodded my head and continued.
"And when I woke up I found Hiyoko in that closet. Like I said before she ran away screaming. That's when I walked into the blood on the ground and saw Mahiru's dead body. So I took off my shoe's and left back to my cottage."
I gave them a small smile. "I didn't investigate because that would've been dumb. Plus I never even heard of the game until the trail, so I can't be the killer."
"We are back at the beginning!" Akane shouted.
"Can you guys even believe this fuckin' psychopath?" Fuyuhiko asked.
I shrugged. "Well that's the truth, so deal with it."
"When I saw (Y/n) she had on a swimsuit, and she was clean." Hiyoko told everyone. "So it couldn't had been (Y/n)."
"If you guys means they were covered in blood, then Akane walked into the burger place covered in blood." Kazuichi said.
"What! That's because of Coach Nekomaru, we were fighting." Akane defended herself.
"I can attest to that. If I hadn't gotten that rough then she would've never backed down!" Nekomaru informed us.
Hiyoko broke down about how she was in the clear about not being the killer and gave us the details on what happened before she went to the beach house.
"The killer must've forged both letters." Hajime said.
"The killer forged them so they could manipulate their actions. Yeah, that's how we should think about it." Nagito stated.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! How mean! Give me back Mahiru!" Hiyoko cried.
"Really...this is really terrible... I've offered to help so many times, but the killer this time didn't discuss their plans with me this time at all. It's all my fault! I'm so ashamed of being unreliable!" Nagito said in a sad tone.
I smiled. "Isn't their despair great. Losing someone important to you, is probably one of the best type of despair ever. It's the only despair I've never had." I then frowned at the last statement.
"Here we go again. Once we let our guard down these two act crazy." Ibuki said annoyed.
"What happened in the beach house?" Peko asked.
"I think someone had me take a whiff of something so I feel asleep. And when I woke up I saw (Y/n) and when I rushed out I saw...Mahiru's body." Hiyoko informed us.
"How did you know she was in there (Y/n)? Was it really because of your dream?" Chiaki asked.
"Yup!" I beamed. "I can guess a murder a few minutes before it happens. That's one of the perks of being the ultimate guesser." I sighed. "I knew she was in the closet because I felt her despair, it was strong."
"You can guess a murder before it happens?!" Hajime blurted out.
"Yeah, but it wouldn't really help anyone out. By the time I figure where it happened, they would've killed that person already." I sighed once again.
"You guys are seriously going to believe her? The only way to survive someone is to be suspicious of everyone. That's what a class trail is about!" Fuyuhiko shouted.
I began to laugh while my eyes spun out of controlled. "That's defiantly not true. We come here to pin each other over one person's selfish crime. We're here to put each other in despair and to kill each other."
Nagito sighed. "You're both wrong. We aren't supposed to doubt each other here, we're supposed to work together. The class trial is where we cooperate with each other, work hard and aim for victory. The killer and everyone else...two hopes attempting to grasp the one, true hope."
He began to hug himself. "Two hopes clashing with each other is poetry in motion! That...is what a class trail should be!"
Kazuichi asked in a frighten tone. "Seriously, which side are you on?!"
"I'm on the side of the absolute hope that can overcome any despair. And I believe that absolute hope exists at the point where two hopes clash.
I smiled because I just realized something about him. "Nagito, you're not full of hope, it's just despair disguised as hope." I giggled. "That draws me closer to you. I'm your hope and you're my despair, I understand that now."
"Hahahahaha! I have a great amount of hope in me (Y/n)." Nagito said joyfully. I only nodded my head and smiled. "Wonderful Ko."
"There should be a new clue in what (Y/n) and Hiyoko told us. Let us believe in her words and debate among each other." Sonia said changing the topic.
"Dumbass if you trust each other then the only thing waitin' for you is the bitter truth." Fuyuhiko scoffed."
Class Trail Suspended
