Korkie Kryze was born and raised on the planet Mandalore. He always knew he was different from everyone around him. He could feel it. His mother told him he was like his father. Growing up was hard for Korkie. Being different was hard.

When he is targeted and kidnapped by Death Watch to force Satine to hand over the throne, Satine calls in help in the form of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. But by the time they reach Korkie, it's too late. Korkie is gone.

Instead, Korkie had been saved by thought to be dead Jedi Padawan turned Bounty Hunter Kayla Fett and former sith warrior Mak'aria Croslea. Together, the two bounty hunters took off with Korkie. For, it was too dangerous to leave him on Mandalore.

The two force users help train up Korkie while avoiding the Jedi and the Sith. Neither had faith in eitehr side anymore and wanted to keep the son of Mandalore safe. But at what cost? When the war pulls all three out of hiding, tensions rise and secrets are revealed.

Korkie learns to adapt and survive in the new life he was thrown into. However, will he be ready for what is to come? Will he survive the war?
