Chapter 1 "Down Hill Fall"
A/N: BTW (F/N) means friend's name if ya didn't know
( [Y/N] POV)
You sighed deeply. Why did every thing go down hill for you? First your boy friend broke up with you because, well there where a few reasons, the biggest one was because you had to work all the time. You never really had time to be with him, he didn't understand that however and got really mad at you because of this. So after a long fight with a few bruises and you giving him a bloody (possibly broken) nose he left you. It didn't help that when your best friend, (F/N) needed a place to crash and you stupidly said yes. Why was it stupid? They kept throwing parties every night, keeping you from getting your much needed rest, and what happened when you confronted them about it after a week of that bull crap? You got into a HUGE fight ending with you kicking them out, who knows what they're doing now. And the cherry on top of this down hill fall? Well you see you got fired. You worked at a Walmart, and you did a lot of over time but when one of your coworkers said you where stealing from the Walmart you where fired. You would think that they would know you didn't, but the mother fucker had fake photos of you "stealing", you where fired with out your last pay check. They also probably would have believed her with out proof because she was an "Angel". And because of this you can't get a new job, other than odd jobs for a day that don't even pay that much. Now your rent is due and your going to be kicked out making you homeless. Your life is just one "gift" after another, isn't it? You sighed, again.
"What am I going to do?" you say to yourself as you face plant into your bed. You didn't want to get up, you wanted to lay there forever. You could feel your eyes begin to water as you realized how hopeless you really felt. You turn on your side to see a plush, not just any plush, but the first one you ever owned. It was small barn owl plush, it was still so soft after all these years of owning it. You had a thing for owls. They made you feel conferrable when all seemed lost, you had no idea why. Maybe because people think owls are wise, but maybe its just because of your own little ideas from childhood. Who knows anyway? You reached your hand out to feel the plush. Soft, like it was new. Suddenly your home phone rang. Rolling your eyes you turn around and grab your home phone that sat on your nightstand.
"Hello?" You asked, trying to sound like you weren't about to cry a bit ago.
"Say, you don't sound so good pal." said the voice on the other side of the phone.
"Who are you?" You ask, not sure why some stranger would say that to you.
"I bet you really need some help right now, don't you pal? I mean, with your rent due, you no longer having a job and all." the stranger said, his voice flat.
Your eyes widened. "H-How did you know about that?" you ask with a bit of a wobbly voice.
"Do you want my help or not?" the stranger asked, as he was growing impatient.
"S-Sure? I'll take your help." you say. Though every part of your being is telling you that was a mistake to say yes.
"Excellent, now sit the phone down on your nightstand." The stranger said, almost evilly in a way.
Hesitantly you put the phone down, after he yelled at you asking what you where waiting for. Laughter from the stranger on the other side of the phone filled your ears as shadow arms came out of the floor. You screamed when they grabbed you. You tried to grab anything, mostly your plush, but they pulled you into the floor. And darkness filled your vision, you couldn't hear anything, even your own thoughts where clouded by the darkness. Then after what seemed like forever, you heard something, no someone.
"Hay pal, you don't look so good."
