All eyes on Naegi and Misaki who just arrived at the gym, stares were darted to them by the teenagers who are the same age as them.

"What are you guys staring at?" Misaki said as the tense atmosphere on the air broke.

"Oh, you two are freshmen too?" Hagakure Yasuhiro -Super Duper High School Clairvoyant

"Well yeah, this school is really nuts" Misaki said while ruffling her hair.

"We are sixteen, huh?" Yamada Hifumi -Super Duper High School Fanfic Creator

"Hey you two, both of you were told to be here at 8'o clock!" Ishimaru Kiyotaka -Super Duper High School Moral Compass

"Being late is unacceptable!" Ishimaru scowled rather harshly.

"Not that I give a damn about it," Misaki huffed while glaring at him.

"What did you say, Super Duper High School Musician?!" Ishimaru yelled angrily about them being late.

"--Huh? What the heck are you talking about?!"  Enoshima Junko -Super Duper High School Model

"--Who the hell cares about being late in this kind of situation?!" Enoshima said while folding her arms on her chest.

"--Um...did you two wake up in a classroom too?" Fujisaki Chihiro -Super Duper High School Programmer

"Yeah, me and Misaki-san did." Naegi answered filled with uneasiness.

"--I knew it, we all did too." Fujisaki stated also feeling scared.

"I mean, it is a special school, right?" Asahina asked the bulky man–girl beside her!

"Whether is it or not, we need to find out what's going on." Ohgami Sakura -Super Duper High School Fighter

"Yeah," Naegi answered as he looked at everyone inside the gym with amazement. 'So they are the Super Duper High Schoolers chosen by Hope's Peak Academy.' He thought.

"--Oh god, he's looking right at me!"

"N-Nothing!" Naegi said nervously as he hurriedly averted his gaze.

His eyes landed on a albino haired girl with matching purple eyes who was thinking in silence,

"What is it?" Kirigiri Kyoko -Super Duper High School ???

"I-It's nothing!" Naegi said while waving his hand at her, as he let out a nervous laugh and walked away.

When he was far to some people, he sighed nervously while feeling uneasy.

"Um...you're Naegi-kun, right? We went to the same junior high." Maizono Sayaka -Super Duper High School Idol

"Maizono-san?"

"It's so nice to see a familiar someone I'm familiar with,"

"Wait, Maizono-san...you know me?"

"Of course I do, we went to the same school for 3 years straight!"

"That's true, but—I didn't think that someone as popular as you would pay attention to a plain guy like me!"

"Did you think I was that cold? I'm really shock!"

"T-That's not what I mean—"

They began to laugh together as they're cheeks are stained red until one person broke the mood between them.

"--How long are you two going to flirt? Let's get to the point already,"

"What do you mean, Togami-kun?"

"The first thing we should do is to figure out who's behind all this,"

"--You say all of that, but how should we do it? Nothing is being starting yet," Misaki perked up to them.

"That's why we need to find out, you idiot—hey, are you even listening to what I'm saying?!" Togami growled at the violet haired girl who doesn't seem to be interested.

"Ugh, it's gone!" Misaki said as she began to panic while checking her pockets once again.

"What is gone, Misaki-chan?" Miyazono asked worriedly.

"My cellphone is gone! I must've have misplaced it somewhere," She cried, that's when everyone started to find their phones but to see none.

"I lost mine as too, I bet someone stole it from us!" Enoshima complained.

"--Come on guys, cheer up. This is probably some kind of orientation that the school planned out, that's what my fortune ball is saying!"

"--Seriously? Is it accurate?"

"--My fortune telling is 30 percent right all the time, you know!"

"--Tch, only 30 percent?"

"How narrow minded are you? This isn't an orientation no matter how you look at it," Misaki said while placing her hands on her hips.

"--Then what is this?"

"An abduction of course, there are only 16 of us here and the places are covered in steel plates that traps us, I bet something bad is going to happen later on."

"--But, you don't know that for—"

"I know so, you guys should probably get it right now...they are planning to stuck us in this place,"

*Shriek*

The loud shrill noise through the gym as everyone was forced to cover their ears from the loud noise that's being in tune right now. Then it finally stopped as everyone turned to look at the front.

"Hello to all the freshmen, let us begin the entrance ceremony,"

"--Told you it's just an orientation, Misaki! This is how they roll,"

"Your wrong, this is different."

Naegi saw Misaki's serious face that it made him slight uneasy to her expression as her eyes darted on the stage.

*Pyouung!*

A mismatched coloured stuff toy appeared as it sat down on the table near the microphone, beside him was a glass of fresh milk.

"--What's that, a stuff toy?"

"I'm Monokuma, not a stuff bear! I'm also the principal of this school, pleased to meet you~"

"--That stuff toy just moved!"

"Like I said: I'm Monokuma, not a stuffed toy, I'm your principal!"

"--You're the principal?"

"Let's get this show on the road, stand, bow, good morning to you everyone!"

"--Good morning!"

"--Your seriously listening to that stuff toy, Ishimaru?"

"--Sheesh, don't listen to him!"

"You are the people who carry hopes of the world on your shoulders, and in order to protect for your hope–I have decided you all live in this school."

"--Say what?"

"--You serious...?"

"--What's the meaning of this?"

"As for how long you will be living together here—"

"Until we die, correct?"

"Bingo, your correct Misaki-san!"

Everyone turned to Misaki who just let out a bored sigh as if she can everything that they don't.

"Just like Misaki-san have said, you all be staying here until you die!"

"--What the heck?!"

"--Until we...die?"

"Don't worry, we've got a huge budget so just go wild as you want."

"--That's not the issue here!"

"--so wait, those steel plates in the classroom and hallways are there to keep us locked in here?"

"Yeah, you can yell and scream all you want, but nobody's gonna save you."

"--If you're saying the truth, then that's kind of troublesome, we can't live here forever."

"Whoever wants to leave this place will have to play by a certain rule, I don't care how you do it—"

Monokuma jumped as he twirled and landed on the ground while explaining the rules to the kids.

"Only students who have killed someone will be allowed to leave this place, that's it—pretty simple!"

He began to laugh hysterically while some students were scared and confused by his statement.

"Assassinate them, beat them to death, strike them with a weapon, stab, burn, hit and etc...man, this gets me so excited~!"

"--Are you serious?"

"--Why do we have to kill one another?!"

"--Stop spouting that bullshit and let us go home already!"

"Bullshit, what do you mean by that? From here on, this academy is your home got it?! Feel free to do anything you want!"

"--Kill each other?! That joke is going to far, buddy!" Ohwada said as he squatted down to Monokuma's eye level.

"Joke, are you talking about your hairstyle~?"

"What's was that, you piece of shit? I'll hit you for all I care!"

"Acts of violence towards the principal go against school regulations, punishment time!"

Monokuma's red eye started to tick tock as if his going to explode, the others were kind of curious to the noise.

"--This is bad! Throw him away!" Kirigiri yelled as Ohwada argued with her while Misaki sigh and grabbed Monokuma from his hands.

"--What are you doing—" Ohwada didn't finished his statement as Misaki threw Monokuma up to the air.

*Boogsh!*

Monokuma exploded as smoke came out spreading throughout the room as everyone was in pure shock.

"Figured out this is coming,"

"Pupupupu, your sharp as always Misaki-san! But, you reacted from Kirigiri-san's signal didn't you?"

"Yeah, but I know...you were going to explode and I was coincidently nearby the range so I did the favour and tossed you."

"Your interesting, I like you!"

"Your uninteresting, I hate you."

Monokuma just laughed between the conversation they shared as he quickly changed the subject.

"I'll let you off with just a warning this time, but next time I find someone breaking the school rules...I'll punish you!"

He was kind of creepy from all his talk despite he is just a small bear with mismatched colour, but his damn scary.

"This ends the ceremony, enjoy this gloomy high school life!"

Monokuma made his exit as everyone kept quote and think deeply about the current situation.

"--The only way out is to kill someone in this group assembled here?"

"--That's just too crazy,"

"--This has to be some joke, right?"

"--It doesn't matter if it's a joke but if someone among us did take it seriously,"

Everyone looked at each other as if they were telling each other 'your going to betray or kill me' with a glare, suspecting each other...

Then the brand new page of despair and betrayal of the high school students just have begun...
