He's been watching them again. He would come into Donnie's lab to turn the game on and watch.

He'd notice has similar but different they were to his brothers and him. He was curious. Ever since he saw them, he had this connection to them. He felt like they were real and not some video game copy.

"Hey Donnie.... I think the turtle dudes we see in the VR thingy are real.", said Mikey.

"Mikey, I really don't think that's possible! Although the VR is stuck on some random setting that-", Donnie paused.

Mikey and Donnie blinked for a moment.

"Let's put a pin in that.", said Donnie as he walked over to his computer.

Mikey watched him type a way for a solid two minutes before he turned a round to shoot him a way.

Mikey walked out of the lab with a huff and thought about what he would be doing for the rest of the day.

"Hey guys! Want to skateboard?", he said as he jumped onto the couch.

Raph looked at him before rolling his eyes and went back to reading his comic.

"Nah, I have stuff to do later.", said Raph as he turned a page.

"Is that code word for sitting in your room crying?", teased Mikey.

Raph glared at him. Mikey scooted a little bit a way from him as his smile got nervous.
