Intro
The following book is a fanfiction based off the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I do not own the original idea or the warriors world but the clan names, territories, and characters are all originally created by me.
For people who aren't familiar with the warriors series, let me explain so you can understand the following story better.
Roles:
Leader - Leads the clan; recieves nine lives from Starclan; assigns a new deputy by moonhigh once the deputy either becomes leader, dies, or retires; assigns new apprentices their mentors and assigns them their new warrior names; surname ending in -star
Deputy - Helps the leader by assigning patrols and stepping in for the leader when they can't fill their role; second in command; must have at least had one apprentice to become deputy; has a normal warrior name
Medicine cat - Healer(s) of the clan; has a close connection with Starclan and may receive warnings or prophecies from them to interpret; has a normal warrior (medicine cat) name
Warriors - The main part of the clan; hunt and fight to defend their clan; train the apprentices to become great warriors for a strong clan; has a full warrior name unique to that cat ( -storm, -pelt, -tail, -feather etc)
Apprentices - Trainees of the clan; train to become a warrior or medicine cat; must be at least 6 moons old to become an apprentice; has the surname ending in -paw
Kits - Kittens younger than 6 moons old being cared for by the queens in the nursery; can't leave camp until they become apprentices; has the surname -kit
Queens - Mothers of the clan or cats who stay in the nursery; they nurse and care for the kits in camp; has a normal warrior name
Elders - The oldest cats in the clan who have served the clan for many seasons and earned their retirement from warrior duties; the clan looks after them and they usually tell their stories to the younger cats in the clan; has a normal warrior name

Starclan
Starclan are the clan's ancestors. They normally give omens and prophecies to the clan's leader and medicine cat(s) to interpret and warn the clan. They give new leaders their nine lives and are the opposite of the Dark Forest, or The Place of No Stars. The Dark Forest is a place where cats go when they aren't accepted into Starclan. They usually did something terrible in their lives to earn their place there.
That's about it. If you have any questions or something to add, just comment below.
