This chapter will be updated until I eventually finish writing the next chapter (and get back from my holiday if I can't write during it). I honestly need to do a few things and the holiday is by car for a long time. questions that are answered in this are found in the previous chapter. Everyone technically is the human that is staying with Hope. Oh and if she actually smiles while answering your question it means its pretty important to her and she appreciates you asking and caring about it. this chapter will be written like the previous but no italics and is set instead in the future. Bold text means that it isn't apart of the chapter itself. like this section.

A small nudge woke Hope up. she yawned and her icy blue eye lights shone in the abyss that was her eye sockets. Hope looked down and saw a pair of f/c eyes staring up at her. a small flame lit in Hope's soul. She looked down on the slightly fearful and yet curious eyes of the human child and asked in a surprisingly accurate imitation of Toriel's voice "What is wrong my child?"The child looked away as if they were slightly guilty? their question however chilled Hope right down to the bone.

"Hope who is Myriad?" [ASK Number: 1253766]

Whatever Hope could call blood which ran in her bones felt like it turned to ice. Instantly lies ran in her mind that she could tell the child. 'he was a friend that she was going to get to help her discover a new cure for sickness.' or 'he is the guy who raised me as a child and i was going to show him my newest scientific discovery'. with a sigh Hope realised that if she was in fact going to tell this kid the rest of the story she might as well tell them the truth. with yet another sigh she told her exactly who he is to her.

"Myriad is my best friend. No, He is more than that. He is that monster that i just want to be with all the time. the one who i would trust with my life if it came to it. he is the one who i want to spend the rest of my lifespan with and then into whatever afterlife there is. I love him with all my heart and soul. and not the bad kind of love. I just Hope i can find him and that he wont just stay in my Dreams."

The child blinked. They expected the best friend part but not the rest. y/n didn't say something that would make her feel even worse however. They instead put a hand on what you can say is her shoulder. After a minute of sitting there in silence Hope embraces y/n in a tight hug. The child pats her back as well comforting her. "thank you. i really needed that." Hope whispers loud enough for them to hear. The child then replies with "Thank you for keeping me safe. I mean it" For the first time in forever. ever since that terrible day Hope gave a glad smile.

The kid was sitting in the hammock when a poor unfortunate monster gets trapped in the web of strings. the kid could only watch as the monster was dragged off into the shadows of the forest. a piercing scream echoed from the trees and blood could be seen staining the  snow. (sorry to start this off with gore)A bony tail could be seen above the treetops and the sound of a flame thrower could be heard. a minute later Hope walked out of the trees carrying a sack. she lept at one of the trees that the hammock was attached to and scaled it with ease. when she reached the hammock she placed the sack on a branch and took out a slab of meat. it was raw. she then changed physically to have a muzzle and began to consume the meat. once she was done she turned to the kid and said "you gonna grab some or what? dont worry some of them are cooked." The kid shook their head and Hope sighed "Look in this world you gotta look out for number 1. whether it means sacrificing someone or cannibalism you gotta put yourself first. i personally dont even know why im even helping you. your soul would be very useful to me. so just eat. its not even you who would be a cannibal. I'm the monster here. so just eat something." the kid still doesn't move and instead asks "why are you like this?" Hope almost choked on her meat. "what do you mean?" The human then asks another question.

"Didn't you have any friends back where you were from? Could they still be around?" [ASK number: 378205]

"Well i was friends with Myriads sister..." she looked deep in thought as she contemplated if any of them could be still alive. suddenly a look of realisation struck her face and she whispered something so soft that y/n could barely hear it. "I- n't- er -burn" she then turned to y/n and said "No one could have survived. i would have known. If you need me just call." she then lept from the hammock and raced off into the snow.
