Alright.
I read over the previous chapters and,
As expected, they were cringey as hell.
So I'm either going to rewrite this book or completely delete it.

I have a few different plot ideas for if I rewrite it, such as:

You/ your character has recently moved to a different part of your hometown. Your house is close to a small forest that you never noticed before. Your neighbors act strange and almost paranoid. One day you decide to explore these suspicious woods and meet people you never thought existed.

You/ your character has been studying films in the horror genre when you decide it'd be easy to make your own. You begin to research strange occurrences in your neighborhood. One night, as you were staying up late researching, a hooded figure breaks into your apartment.
