Over the past few days, my family and I have been getting ready to move out. And honestly, the day couldn't come any sooner. I just pray things can finally go back to how they used to be. A calm, kind household where fear isn't constant, and secrets aren't something to dread having. In two days, I will be leaving my current home. Then, for a time being, I'll be living at my grandparents house, until we can get back on our feet financially. My step dad never was a contributing man. Always a taker, not really a giver. He's been living a cozy life on my mom's paychecks, not his. He hasn't even held a steady job. The only thing he's given is fear, mental health issues, and paranoia.
