Frank wrapped an arm around Hazel, moving uncomfortably in his chair, Poseidon is his great-great-something-grandfather, he got his animal powers from him, seeing him use those same powers to kill Odysseus' men terrified him.

Percy stared at the screen blankly, his eyes avoiding his friends as he watched his father killer Odysseus' men. Annabeth grabbed his hand and held it supportingly, "We aren't our parents," she whispered in his ear.

They knew Percy was powerful but seeing Poseidon massacre ships of people without even trying, it terrified them, making them realise just how lucky they are to have the Gods (sometimes, very rarely) on their side.

Leo felt bad for Odysseus, the guy can't catch a break. While yes, he abandoned Calypso and left her alone for 3000 years, a part of Leo began to forgive him for it. He just wanted to go home to his wife and son, Odysseus was a better parent/partner than most of the other Greek heroes and Gods.

Which is all experiences that Percy and I had while saving our friend Grover a few years ago..." she thought back to when she was thirteen, "Going off of that, I'm going to guess it's either the Sirens, Charybdis, Scylla or Circe..." Reyna flinched as she heard the witch's name, "But Circe is the goddess, so it's her! We're reacting to Circe!"
