NICO'S POV

It was Christmas Eve and The Seven, Calypso (yes, Leo rescued her), Thalia and I were having a sleepover at Percy's house. Thalia came and sat next to me. My face was probably bright red. Yes. I like thalia grace. Okay, like like.... Fine! I love Thalia Grace. It was about 8 o'clock and we were all just sitting around. "What do you guys wanna do? Play a board game or something?" I asked. "Death Boy wanting to play a BOARD GAME?!" Leo cried dramatically. He earned a slap on the head from calypso for that but he just grinned and kissed her cheek. She blushed. "What about a movie?" Frank asked. "Yeah! Let's watch-" "Percy! We're NOT watching Finding Nemo! Gods, I swear, it's in my nightmares every time I watch it!" Annabeth cried. Percy pouted. "Aaaaaww!" He said. "What about nightmare before Christmas?" Thalia suggested. "Yeah!" I cried. "I love that movie!" I said jumping up aswell as Thalia. "I love it too! Can we watch it?" We both put our hands together and pouted at our friends. "Pwease!" We said at the same time. "Fine." Annabeth said and she went to go and get it. "Yes!" We both cried and high hived. "First we should set up the beds." Percy said. Everyone agreed. I grabbed my sleeping bag and pillow and put it next to a Green Day sleeping bag. "Who's is this?!" I yelled, grabbing it. I held up the sleeping bag and everyone shook their heads. "Who's is what?" Thalia asked, her head sticking out the door, a toothbrush in her mouth. "That's mine!" She cried and leapt at me. "Well now it's mine!" I yelled back shoving her off me. I pulled one end, she pulled the other. Then we heard a ripping sound. "Uh oh." I said. A huge rip was in it. "Di Angelo!!!!" Thalia screamed. "I am so sorry Thalia." I said. "You can have mine for the night." "No it doesn't matter." She grumbled. "Okay." I said. I turned back to my friends, and there they all were, with popcorn, watching us. "Keep going Romeo." Leo said, waving his hand. I glared at him and I looked at Thalia. She nodded. We both leapt on him, pulling his ears. "Ow ow! Sunshine! Help?!" But Calypso was just laughing. "No chance, Valdez!" "Come on, guys let's watch the movie!" Hazel said, snuggling up to Franks side while he blushed and put an arm around her. "Good idea." Percy said. Everyone got in their spots: Hazel and Frank snuggled on the couch, Jason sat on the floor with Piper in his lap, Percy and Annabeth(PERCABETH!) laying on a double mattress in eachothers arms, Leo and Lalypso laying next to eachother with Leo's arms around Calypso while she blushed, and Thalia was laying next to me with her arms crossed. I layed down, watching the screen. When the movie was almost finished, I glanced over at Thalia. She was sitting up, shivering and hugging herself. Goosebumps lined her arms and her teeth were chattering. I felt REALLY bad, so then I wrapped my sleeping bag around her shoulders. She looked up and frowned. When she realised it was me, her cheeks went a light shade of red. What?! She looked cute like that, like a little- wait what?! What in Hades Di Angelo?! I shook my head and saw thalia get up and look around. It looked like everyone was asleep. She went out and came back with a big duvet in her arms. "You could have said so earlier!" I whispered. She shrugged and layed it out. I dove under it, feeling warmth surge through me. "Oi!" Thalia said and got under. "Get out! This is mine!" "No, why should I?" I replied, facing her. "Because I got-" All of a sudden, I don't how or why, my lips were against hers. She closed her eyes and kissed back. When we broke apart, I was shocked and I felt like my cheeks were about to burn off. Thalia looked the same. "Goodnight Thals." I said, breaking the silence. I closed my eyes and then I felt a body next to mine. I opened my eyes to see thalia against my side. I hesitantly put my arms around her, closing my eyes again.

THALIA's POV

I heard laughing and someone going, "aw!" I felt something warm around me. What?! Then I remembered last night. Oh. I was still tired, so I snuggled closer to Nico. I know what you're probably thinking, what in Hades Thalia, you're a hunter and you're supposed to hate boys. Well, let them me tell you a deep dark secret...Dont tell anyone. I've loved Nico ever since we started hanging out a bit more. And yeah, I know, it's stupid, because I mean, how could he like me? "that's just soooo cute!" I heard a boys voice snap me out of my thoughts. "Shut up guys! Let me sleep!" I yelled at them, even though it was a bit muffled from my head being in Nico's chest. "Aw come on you two, it's Christmas!" I heard Jason say. "All the more reason to sleep-" All of a sudden I felt water pour all over me. "In." Nico finished, spitting out water. "Seriously?!" I yelled, standing up. "That was so cute! Are you two like a thing, now?" Percy asked. Wait, Percy?! "What the heck Percy? Isn't Piper supposed to ask that?!" I said, blushing. "Come on, let's make pancakes for breakfast!" Annabeth yelled, running into the kitchen. "Yeah! Blue ones!" Percy yelled back. Nico and I got changed into non-wet-by-a-certain-son-of-Poseidon clothes. We had our breakfast and then it was present time. "Presents!" Leo yelled, diving at the tree, but being stopped by Calypso, who pulled him back. "Not without a race!" She said, shaking her finger at him. "Ready? 3..2..1!" Leo yelled and the pair sprinted to the tree. Calypso picked up a small box and unwrapped it, with Leo sitting next to her, looking excited. When she unwrapped it, we were all looking at a golden box with 'Calypso' carved on the lid. "Open it." Leo urged. She opened it and gasped. She lifted out a beautiful gold heart locket, with the words, 'You're my sunshine' on the front. Calypso opened it and on one side their was a picture of Leo and Calypso looking at the sunset on an island. The other side had a picture of their first kiss at Camp Half Blood. "Gods Leo..." She whispered. All the colour drained from Leo's face. "Y-you don't like it?" Calypso laughed and kissed him. "Of course I do, I love it!" Most of the presents were like that, the couples. But nico and I didn't have anyone. I saw nico go out the door. I jumped up. "Where are you going, Thals?" Jason asked. "Uh....Just somewhere." I grabbed the last present from under the tree and ran out. I found nico on the roof. I climbed up and said, "Hey Death Breath." He spun around. "Oh it's just you Thals. Why aren't you with everyone else?" I walked up to him and sat down next to him. "Well I...saw you run out without opening your present, sooo here you go." I said, giving him the present. "Thanks." He said and unwrapped the present. Inside was a box. Inside the box there was....nothing. "Uh Thalia, there isn't anything in here." He said, clearly confused. But I grinned and moved a bit closer. He must've too, because then his hands were at my waist and my arms around his neck. "Merry Christmas, Death Breath." I whispered and closed the gap between us. When we broke apart, we blushed and looked down at the ground. It was silence until I saw a bush rustle. I groaned, realising who it was. We both jumped down. "Come out guys! We know you're in-aargh!" All of a sudden, I felt a pain in my side. I opened my eyes to see a...hellhound. Nico had his sword out, slashing it. Then everything went black.

I woke up. I felt a pain in my side and when I opened my eyes, I saw that I was in the infirmary at Camp Half Blood. I saw The Seven walk in, looking worried. Hazel was almost in tears. Annabeth ran over. "Thank the gods you're okay!" She said, hugging me. "Thalia! What happened?" Jason asked. Then the memories started coming back. Nico and me kissing. The hellhound, then black. "W-where's Nico?" I whispered, a bit too afraid to know the answer. "I'm sorry thals, but Nico...." I stood up, feeling a pain I my side. "Where is he?! Take me to him!" I yelled. "Uh....okay. Follow us." Jason said. He almost looked like he was holding back tears. Going out the door, they led me to the dining pavilion, where there were lots of demigods. I saw Chiron up the front, talking. "-he was a great warrior and friend. So today we are here not mourn, but to be happy that Nico Di Angelo has come into our lives." I froze. No no no, he can't be. He just can't be. I ran up through the crowd. "Thalia!" I heard behind me, but I kept running until I stopped at the front. There lay Nico, ready to be burned. "No!" I screamed and ran over to him, ignoring the pain in my side. "No no no!" I sobbed. "No Nico, you can't be dead! No!" I cried over his lifeless body. I put my ear to his chest. nothing. "No." I heard Chiron say something, but I wasn't paying attention. Just as I realise that I love someone, they are taken from me.

JASON's POV

It was one of the worst things I have ever seen. My sister was crying over the dead body of the boy she loved.
Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled. It started pouring with rain. I went to walk up to her, but Chiron stopped me and said, "No. Let her be. This will be hard, so let her be." I nodded. I turned back to Thalia. All of a sudden she stood up. Her shoulders shaking violently while she sobbed. She kissed Nico one last time on the lips and I could faintly hear her whisper, "I love you Neeks. Wait for me." Then she ran off into the woods. Everyone was in shock. Thalia Grace, the Daughter of Zeus, had just had a melt down in front of everyone. In the distance over the thunder and rain, we all heard, "Whyyyyyyy?!" Tears starting falling down my face. I looked at Piper who was sobbing. I pulled her into a hug. A lot of us who knew both Nico and Thalia were crying. The Seven all knelt down in front of Nico. Percy and Annabeth sobbed and sobbed, brushing the hair out of his closed eyes. "He was like a little brother to us." Percy managed to get out. We all nodded and starting saying our goodbyes. Percy hugged Nico and whispered a couple things to him. Annabeth said a few things to him and kissed his forehead. Hazel had to pried away from him. Frank couldn't even say goodbye. Calypso didn't really know him that well, but she said a few things anyway. Leo could only say goodbye. Piper and I hugged Nico's lifeless body. "Goodbye man, you were a great friend and was very strong. No matter what happens, believe in yourself." I whispered. Gods it was sad. I said my last goodbye and stood up with Piper in my arms. We watched as the flames went up into the sky.
