21 | Caleo: Part 2

The second part is here everyone!!! I hope you all enjoy!

CALYPSO

I sat on my window sill. Waiting. Watching.

I wanted my Repair Boy back. Badly. So badly, it hurts. My heart aches for him. My lips still tingle from having his lips on mine.

My father has tried to get me to do something, ANYTHING, but I refuse, only ever replying with four words, "I want him back." And he would just sigh and walk away.

One week after Leo left, I found something in my jeans pocket, the same ones I was wearing the day he left.

A screwdriver. I turned it over in my hands, a tear falling down and landing on my bed.

Engraved into it, it said, "Don't worry Calypso, we WILL meet again"

And that was enough to make me clutch it to my heart, and break down crying.

I sobbed, longing for my Repair Boy. I needed to see him again. I needed to.

In bed that night, the screwdriver still held to my heart, I thought about him. His hair, his amazing smile, his eyes and his wicked sense of humor. I missed him. (A/N: In case you hadn't noticed)

I wonder what he is doing now, I thought. Probably off with another girl.

And I drifted off to sleep.

LEO

I pulled my sleeping bag up to my chin shivering a bit in the cold night air. I stared up at the stars, spotting Orion's belt and the big bear thing.

I looked to my left, at the dancing flames of the campfire.

It had been five days since I left home. That's right. I ran away.

The only thing I was heading for and the only thing I wanted in the world, was Calypso. I could imagine her honey gold hair blowing I the wind and her almond shaped eyes sparkling with happiness.

Oh god I missed her.

I slowly closed my eyes, one last thought crossing my mind.

I love you, Calypso.

---

The next morning, I opened my eyes and shivered. It was cold. Very cold. Even though I didn't want to leave the heat of the sleeping bag, I got out and blew out the last little flame in the fire, packing up my sleeping bag and shoving it in my backpack.

Today I was going to go into the city, find the airport, and catch a plane to where Calypso lived. (I don't know what place to put it as, as I don't live in America!)

If you're wondering, I do have money. I have about....oh I don't know. But I know that it's enough to get a plane across the country.

I trudged on, letting my thoughts wander to Calypso. She kissed me. That was my biggest thought. Oh how I wish I'd kissed back. It felt nice to have her lips on mine. It felt amazing. About an hour later, I heard the sounds of a city. By now it was about 11 o'clock.

Excited, I ran the rest of the way. It was big and full of busy people, trains and cars.

And I had no idea where to go.

So I walked around for a bit, probably looking like a home less fifteen year old.

I then realised if I went into a newsagency, I would find a map.

I went to the nearest one, crossing the street.

I walked in, grabbed one and ran back out. I looked at it and then I facepalmed. I could just GET A CAB!

I sighed and tried blocking out the sounds of vehicles and people bustling around as I walked to the curb and a taxi went by.

I waved him to me and he stopped as I opened the door and climbed in.

"Where would you like to go?" The short, friendly looking man asked me, looking in his rear view mirror.

"Uh," I said. "The nearest airport."

He nodded and rove off. About fifteen minutes of me gawking at the tall buildings and water fountains later, we reached the airport. I paid the man, said thanks and stepped out of the cab.

I stood in front of the airport entrance, a bit worried to be going on a plane by myself.

I walked in, my backpack slung over my shoulder and got to the busy line to buy my ticket.

I had to wait for five minutes, as it was really busy, and that gave me time to think about Calypso.

I wonder if she likes me back? Oh well if she doesn't. But what if she doesn't want me to come back? What if it was all just an act? She could have just been pitying me.

I hesitated before going up to the counter. Should I?

Oh, who cares? I love her and that's all there is to it.

I stepped up and said, "One ticket to (insert town name) please."

The kind lady begind the desk smiled and said, "Sure." Giving me a ticket and I paid the money.

I had about one hundred bucks left and I walked aimlessly around the shops, waiting until 6 o'clock, which was when my plane would leave.

I bought a gold heart necklace for Calypso with a red hammer charm and a white plant charm.

When my plane number was called over the loud speaker, I made my way onto the plane, getting more excited by the minute.

I watched the clouds go by as the plane soared into the air. The minutes ticked by slowly. The more minutes that went by, the closer I got to her.

Calypso.

---

I awoke to the sound of the Captain speaking over the loud speaker.

"Good afternoon everyone, we are about to land. Please make sure your belongings are under the seats and that your train tables are up." (Kath and Kimderella reference, anyone? No? Oh well I'll just be over here then...)

I got prepared for landing and I gazed out the window, seeing the familiar town I had once lived in. It wasn't that big, so I knew it like the back of my hand.

I stepped off of the plane, butterflies going crazy in my stomach.

Once I got out of the airport, I walked down the road. I came across the round about and turned left down Thorn Street. I then turned right and walked past Free Green Park, shoving my hands into my jacket pockets.

I watched the kids playing around and the dogs running and old couples talking.

Then I got to a big tree. Our tree. I touched it and closed my eyes. I was gonna see her. I was.

I turned right from there, down her street, Downing Street.

I walked slowly, breathing in the fresh air and looking at my shoes. I walked until I saw the lake at the end of the street. I ran and slowed down when I got to her driveway.

I walked up the path, a million things running through my head and my fingers drumming against my leg. I hadn't noticed I was tapping 'I love you' in morse code until I got to the door. Her fathers black SUV was parked in the garage, which meant they were home.

My hand raised to knock. My heart pounded. My hands were sweaty. My mouth was dry. I gulped as I knocked, three times.

Couldn't help myself :P

CALYPSO

I was sitting miserably on the couch, watching My Sister's Keeper, a sad movie.

I was in a red top, Leo's top. I liked the smell of it. I had black skinny jeans on and my hair in a ponytail.

Then I heard something that made my blood run cold and me sit up straight on the couch. A knock at the door. But not just a knock.

Three knocks.

I shot up off the couch. It couldn't be him, could it?

I sprinted to the door, almost running into the coffee table next to it.

I braced myself as I opened the door.

There, standing in front of me, was Leo. He had that amazing grin on his face and he looked at me.

I cried, "Leo!" And jumped straight into his arms.

He chuckled as he hugged me tight, and I breathed in his familiar scent. Tears started streaming my cheeks and I sobbed. But this time not tears of heart break, no, these were tears of joy.

"You're here! You're here!" I repeated as my body shook and he held me close, stroking my hair and he whispered, "I couldn't bear not to be with you."

I was sure I was blushing, but he couldn't see my face because it was buried in his chest.

"Oh my god I missed you so much, Leo." I said, but it came out a bit muffled.

I looked up at him, and I could tears in his eyes, and happiness, and....love?

He smiled at me and said, "I missed you too."

He bent his head down and I died. The kiss was slow, but it showed love. Tears still flowed down my cheeks as we kissed as the sunset behind us. My hands tangled in his hair. I was so glad to be able to feel his touch, to breath his scent, to see his face.

When we broke apart, he just held me.

"I love you, Calypso." He said quietly.

I froze. He-he loved me back?! I almost yelled in joy but instead I looked h straight in the eyes and said those four words I have been dying to tell him, "I love you too."

And he held me, neither of us wanting to let go of the other.

Here you are guys! Hoped you like it and Frazel then Reynico will be up next. Enjoy your day! :)
