14 | Reynico
So sorry for not updating!! I have been EXTREMELY busy, with school and things. So here is another Reynico fanfic, as requested from @reynico_shipper ...enjoy!
It was after the war, and Camp Jupiter were helping Camp Half Blood pick up the remains and re build. I was standing at a dead tree in the forest. It was the tree I had ran to when I found out Bianca was dead. It used to remind me of her, it was beautiful and strong. A monster must have wrecked it or it must have been destroyed during the war, because it's beautiful leaves were gone, along with the memories. I have decided to stay in Camp Half Blood, try and put roots down. Just stay away from campers and you'll be fine, I thought. "No you are not, Di Angelo." I spun around to see Reyna. Gods she looked beautiful-wait no, stop. Whoops. "Did I say that out loud?" I said nervously, scratching the back of my neck. Reyna stared at me, and I admit I wasn't scared. She couldn't scare me. "Yes," she said. "Now what's this about avoiding others?" She asked, walking up to me. "Uh...nothing. What are you talking about?" I said. She looked me straight in the eyes, a look of worry on her face. "I'm staying." I blurted out. Reyna grinned, showing her perfectly white teeth. "Good." But I could see something else in her eyes..."What's wrong, Nico?" She asked. I realised I had been staring. "Uh...nothing." A camper came running out of the bushes. I recognised her as Emily, daughter of Hephaestus. "Praetor, we're leaving now." She panted, out of breath. Reyna looked at me. "Okay, Em. Hang on. I need to do something first." The younger camper nodded and ran off. Reyna turned back to me and stepped closer. "You have to l-leave?" I choked out. "Yes." She said, her eyes tearing up. I closed my eyes. I opened them again to see beautiful brown eyes in front of me. I stared into them as we got closer, so close I could feel her breath on my face. And we kissed, as if the world was ending. I wrapped my hands around her waist as she wrapped her arms around my neck. We pulled apart, but our foreheads were touching. "Promise me you'll never leave me?" She whispered. "Promise." I grinned and said, "So, do I get sleep in the praetors quarters?"
