1. Seele

Sampo was, for once, not tied down by any shady business. He was still tied down, though. Because the two sides of Belobog were reunited, Natasha didn't want him getting into any trouble, which meant he was on Hook duty for the time being.

This also meant he was constantly running around Boulder Town, chasing her and the other Moles down. He truly wanted to stay in Natasha's good graces, she did have full authority to not heal him the next time he gets into a scuffle from the deals he made around Belobog, Overworld and Underworld.

Currently, he was helping Julian c̶h̶e̶a̶t̶ win hide and seek against Hook, in front of the clinic. As he went to point towards where he'd just seen Alina hide, Seele just so happened to be 'walking' by. [She was introducing some of the lower-ranked Silvermane Guards to the underground's singular safe zone.]

So, as he threw his hand forward to dramatically motion towards the younger girl, he slapped Seele across the face, to which she responded by reflexively punching him across his face, and giving him a black eye.

2. Natasha

Sampo was sick, and injured, which meant Natasha was keeping him under lockdown in the clinic, until he got better.

He understood why, and he loved her truly, but she could let him off as long as he promised to rest. He had a boyfriend to see, and if that meant sneaking out of the clinic when he was supposedly asleep, then he'll do just that.

Only it didn't go to plan. Natasha had spotted him when he was halfway through the window. So, when they locked eyes, and Natasha rushed over, he gave a two finger salute, slipping the rest of the way through the window.

Only, that didnt happen because she got a bit closer than he realized and in saluting he smacked her across the face, leaving a red mark.

He did apologize later.

3. Serval

It was just before the Underground was closed, and after Serval was, in her and 'Helena''s words, ceremonially kicked out of her family. Currently, the two were hanging out inside a building for sale, one near Qlipoth Fort. 

"Lynx is getting out of school, soon," Serval mumbled, standing from where she was sitting on the counter. 

"You're gonna have to go soon, aren'tcha?"

"Yeah. You'll be fine alone, Sam, right?"

"I'll be fine. I can beat up the transphobes alo-"

"You don't have a path at all, I do, they're more scared of me."

"I just gotta transition, and they'll go screaming."

"Damn right, they will. I should go now. My parents are still pissed that Cocolia laid me off. So they're sending me to pick up Lynx."

"Aight. Meet you here tomorrow?"

"I'll be around."

Sampo watched Serval leave, before, in a few moments, leaving himself. As per usual, to avoid the embarrassment of forgetting to respond to his preferred name in the cable cars, he slipped to the Underground through a secret passage he'd found a few years ago, in Backwater Pass. 

The next day, he returned to the surface the same way, before making his way to the same building for sale, and entering, sitting near the door. Minutes later, Serval walked in, startling Sampo into a 'fighting' position, where he slapped her.

"Fuck! Sorry-"

Serval was laughing as she turned to look at him. "That was fucking hilarious, you stood up so faSt-"

4. Gepard

Sampo, despite being cleared by Bronya after he helped her see the state of the Underground, was still doing his business both above and below ground. And sure, he was caught as being 'Mr. Cold Feet' by the Trailblazer, but he got away, anyways.

What it did mean, though, was that he probably shouldn't show his face around Gepard's place, which was difficult, seeing as he'd been staying most nights there, and he left his apartment key there as well.

That normally, wouldn't be a problem, He'd crash with Natasha until everything glossed over. But, Gepard knew him quite well. So the morning after he started staying with her, he'd be busted by his boyfriend. 

So, he needed to find a place to stay, because he had the great ability to not realize his actions would bite him in the ass in the future. Because, he'd made his apartment practically unable to be broken into, by anyone, including himself. He didn't regret it, because the Underground was ridden with people that made their livelihoods in ways that he similarly did, and he was known for being able to make money fast, and his apartment had been broken into multiple times before.

Currently, he was hiding out in an old warehouse near Svarog's place, waiting the night out, until he could find a place to stay. He knew he'd be found in the morning, but that's when he planned to see if Nat knew somewhere. 

And. Fuck.

He knew that voice. 

"Seele, are you sure Sampo's around here?"

"Yeah. Clara told me he was here. She's nervous he's trying to do something with the robots."

Shit. Okay, maybe he should've realized Gepard would look for him once he noticed he hadn't gone to his place, but asking Seele where he was? That he never expected. They didn't get along very well, butting heads on how to police the underground. 

He heard the voices get closer, before they stopped talking altogether. Assuming they split up, he waited for whoever was walking towards him to get closer. He assumed it was Seele, as she was often the first to find him in situations like this, and he didn't pay attention to the fact that the person's footsteps were much heavier than hers.

So, he hopped down to the door to the room he'd decided to hide out in, which looked like an office, waiting to possibly punch Seele in the face, for ratting him out. [He'd never punch Clara, that's just mean. So Seele it is.] Besides, he saw her as a sister, and he didn't mean it maliciously. He'd just be on her hit list for a while. 

Once the door to the office opened, he clocked whoever opened it in the face, realizing a bit too late that he just gave his boyfriend a bloody nose. And that Gepard instinctively just, pulled his guitar case out of no where, and jabbed him in the stomach. 

Natasha was not happy with them, when Seele brought them to her.

i started it before I turned in my laptop, wrote it during my school's goodbye movie and talent show (last 2 days) and kinda worked on it, before I got my laptop back.

i'm also mainly working on a sampard book rn so-
