It took Alex a decent while to process what he had just been told until it finally clicked.

"Hold on. What? Y-You're joking right?" Asked Alex.

"Of course we aren't Alex. You need a place to stay and to avoid wasting any more cash, me and Theresa just decided to have you live with us." Said Himeko.

"D-Don't you two have any clue what that means?" Asked Alex, seriously hoping that they were seeing the issue which thankfully Kiana did as she shared her opinion on the matter.

"H-Huh!? We're letting a boy sleep with us!? No way! He's just gonna be perving on us I know it!" Shouted Kiana.

"Pervy comments aside, she's right. Being an only guy here in a dorm full of girls just feels, uncomfortable and awkward." Said Alex.

"Hm? How so? I don't see nothing wrong it." Said Himeko before walking up to Alex with a smirk as she leaned down to his ear and whispered, "Unless you aren't man enough to be around girls."

At that, Alex blushed and immediately backed away.

"S-Shut up!" He shouted before sighing and calming down. "Fine I'll stay." Alex said as he begrudgingly accepted.

"Good. Now then, from what Mei told me before school ended she said herself along with Kiana and Bronya were heading out into the town to celebrate the mission's success. Are you gonna be accompanying them Alex?" Asked Theresa.

"Yeah. Mei had already asked me before we got here and I accepted." He said.

"Well then you four have fun. Just make sure that you all come back before curfew. You girls have classes tomorrow." Said Himeko.

With that, she and Theresa walked off to different parts of the living room to handle their own business.

"Well then what now?" Asked Alex. "If you all are gonna change for the occasion then I'll wait here." He said as he walked over and sat on the couch as the three girls walked up to their respective rooms to change.

As he waited, he looked around to inspect his surroundings which only made him appreciate where he was at even more.

Sure he didn't really feel comfortable being the only guy in a house full of girls but aside from that, he genuinely liked the atmosphere this dorm room gave off. He just hoped that he wouldn't get into any misunderstandings in this place, especially when Kiana was aound as Alex could already tell that she had a tendency to over exaggerate things.

After waiting for a bit, Alex heard footsteps coming down the stairs as he saw the three girls walk into the living room in their casual wear.

"Looks like you three are all done." Said Alex as he stood up.

"Is Subject Alex not gonna dress up as well?" Asked Bronya.

"Not like I can. All my stuff is back at the apartment I live at since I wasn't expecting to stay here longer." Said Alex.

"Actually, while you were out and about in the afternoon Himeko managed to have your stuff delivered here. She said that's its in the storage closet." Said Mei as she pointed to where it was.

Alex followed her directions and sure enough he found his luggage inside the closet, as he decided to change clothes there.

He finished and placed his used clothes away to wash later as he stepped out back to the girls as now he was dressed in his casual wear as well.

"Okay we're all ready now. So let's get get moving." He said as the three nodded as the group walked out.

The group of four then proceeded to have a good night out in the city.

Eventually once they were done, they all returned back to the dorm room just before curfew as they all sat on the living room couch to rest for a bit.

Once they were done resting, it was now time to sleep which brought up once last concern from Alex.

'Where the hell am I gonna sleep?' Thought Alex.

Sure he could easily just pick the couch but he at least wanted to ask first before picking a spot to sleep.

"Uh, you guys don't happen to have a guest room by any chance right?" Asked Alex.

"Sorry we don't. We only have six rooms for us." Said Mei.

"Six? I've only seen you three, Himeko, and Theresa here though." Said Alex.

"Class Monitor Fu Hua also resides here." Said Bronya.

"Oh. Okay uh, so where do I sleep?" Asked Alex.

"The couch obviously! That's the only place where you'd be allowed to sleep!" Said Kiana as she received a hard smack to the head by Mei.

"Don't be so rude Kiana. Besides it's your fault for causing Principal Theresa to be short on his pay. Having him sleep on the couch would be unacceptable." Said Mei.

"Um, I-I'm perfectly fine with sleeping on the couch. I don't really care." Said Alex.

"Subject Alex will be sleeping with the Bronya." Said Bronya which caused Alex and Kiana to be shocked.

"H-Hey I just said I'd be fine sleeping on the couch!" Said Alex.

"Nyet. The Bronya agrees with Mei. Having Subject Alex sleep on the couch wouldn't be right. Only the Bronya's room would be accessible. Principal Theresa, Himeko, and Class Monitor Fu Hua's rooms are all off limits, Kiana Idiotka probably wouldn't even let Subject Alex stand near her door, and sleeping in Mei's room would just anger Kiana Idiotka and make her even more annoying." Said Bronya going down every reason why the other rooms wouldn't be good decisions.

As much as he hated to agree, Alex knew that Bronya was entirely correct about this whole ordeal so with this all sorted out, he sighed and gave in.

"Fine I'll sleep in Bronya's room on one condition. I'll be given spare blankets and a pillow so I can sleep on the floor." He said which Bronya thankfully agreed to.

Eventually curfew had come and after being told by Himeko to go to sleep, the group all walked upstairs as Alex and Bronya stopped as they reached her room first as Kiana and Mei kept walking ahead to their room.

Bronya opened the door as she and Alex walked in.

Since it was late Alex didn't really wanna look around Bronya's room right now as he was handed spare blankets which he then laid out on the floor next to Bronya's bed.

Once he was done laying out his make shift bed on the floor, he laid down and covered himself with the blanket about ready to sleep.

Before he did though, he heard Bronya call him.

"Does Subject Alex have an actual place to call home? Like, an actual house. Not an apartment or hotel." Asked Bronya.

Alex was caught off guard by this but he felt no reason to not answer honestly.

"On two occasions, I had what you could consider stable homes. Both orphanages. The first one, ended on bad terms. The second one I left not too long ago. Not because of bad terms, but because I wanted to do something with my life and the mercenary life just felt like the way to go." Said Alex.

It toom a while to get a response until Bronya finally spoke.

"Subject Alex, the Bronya hopes that St. Freya will also become a home to you like it has for the Bronya." She said as all Alex could do was chuckle at this.

"Yeah, I sure hope so. Good night Bronya."

"The Bronya wishes Subject Alex a goodnight as well."

With that the two eventually drifted to sleep.

[The Next Day]

A bright sun glare from the window hit Alex in the face as he groaned from the light as he sat up and yawned, rubbing the remaining sleep out of his eyes as he opened them to see that he was the only one in the room as Bronya wasn't there.

After doing the neccessary morning activities such as washing his face and brushing his teeth, Alex walked down to the living room and noticed a nice looking breakfast plate filled with biscuits and gravy with a note next to it as he walked up to it and read the note.

In case you wake up too late, all of us are currently at St. Freya. I hope you enjoy the breakfast I made.

"Huh. I'll thank her once I see her." Said Alex as he sat down and began to eat his breakfast.

After he finished his really good meal, he walked over to the sink and washed his plate.

Right as he did that, he heard footsteps come down to the living room as he saw Fu Hua emerge from the stairway.

"Hm? You're still here." Asked Alex.

"I start my classes an hour later than the other girls. I only have 30 minutes left to go." Said Fu Hua.

Alex nodded and went back to cleaning his plate as Fu Hua sat in the chair behind him.

"You know, since we have time I have a request that I hope you'll accept." Said Fu Hua as Alex finished washing the plate and turned to look at her.

"What would that be?" He asked as she gave a small smile and stood up.

"I'm interested in your skills. So why don't we have a sparring match?"
