(Author's Note: I feel like I've been getting into too many arguments about the Fatui and Celestia. Mei is angry at Scaramouche because she sees Ei cutting ties with Celestia and not wanting the Electro Gnosis anymore as a disgrace to her duty as an archon. I'm saying this once again. I don't care if Celestia is the real enemy, the Fatui have been causing nothing but trouble to Teyvat. And that's why I'm against the Tsaritsa and the Fatui bringing Celestia down. I want the Travelers Aether Lumine, and Paimon to be the ones to bring Celestia down, not the Tsaritsa and the Fatui. And I don't want to hear any more objections or else you'll get blocked.)

Although they have saved Lesser Lord Kusanali, there is no time to celebrate or rest, for there is a nascent god to stop and Irminsul to save... Now, the fate of Teyvat is in their hands.

They were outside the Sanctuary of Surasthana.

Paimon: We might as well prepare for a fight, guys.

Paimon: When we're done, we can take a walk around. After all, we missed out on a lot of stuff when we were locked up.

They returned back to the Sanctuary of Surasthana. Nahida, Vert, Durandal, and Theresa were waiting for them.

Mei: We're ready.

Paimon: How's it going, Nahida?

Nahida: I'm done with the parts that needed my involvement to complete. Although it's my first time working with the Akasha like this, its internal structure and operation procedures are easy for me to understand. Greater Lord Rukkhadevata's design is truly brilliant.

Vert: We observed her and saw her do everything.

They walked to the door then stopped. Mei goes in front.

Mei: Beyond this door lies the boss we've been waiting for since we encountered him again in Inazuma but never got the chance to properly fight against him... I've been waiting a long time to fight him just like everyone else here. The Doctor is out of the picture. But he might come back any time.

Kiana: Oh come on: Mei-senpai. We clearly saw his boat head for Snezhnaya. It could not have changed directions.

Mei: He could have decided to turn around to come back. But as long as he doesn't interfere with the fight against the Balladeer, we're gonna be ok. We better transform right now. Then they transformed into their other forms. Instead of being in their 4 Goddesses Online outfits, the CPUs and CPU Candidates in their HDD forms were in their ninja outfits but still had the processor unit wings. Mei opened her eyes.

Mei: Ok. Now let's go.

They rushed through the door.

Paimon: What is this place? Is this really the way we need to go?

Green Heart: It is.

Theresa: Scaramouche is beyond this way.

Paimon: Wow... Who woulda thought there'd be a place like this hidden right slap bang in the middle of the city!

Nahida: The sages wanted to realize their god creation plan without being discovered. The safest and most convenient way would be to build within the Akademiya itself.

Paimon: Hmm, that's true. They were already hiding one god, so why not two?

Nahida: Judging from the structure here, the project is a huge undertaking. The sages really saw the god creation plan as their ultimate goal. But this place doesn't seem like it could have been constructed by the Akademiya alone...

Nahida: The Fatui under The Doctor sure didn't hold back — they provided a lot of technological support.

Aether: It's to help one of their own Harbingers become a god, after all.

Paimon: Yeah, or else they wouldn't have been that generous!

Kallen: At first we thought that Scaramouche went rogue on the Fatui after he disappeared with the Electro Archon's Gnosis and cut all contact with them. But now it looks like we were wrong.

Sakura: Or he could've decided to join them again or they caught him and forced him to join them again.

Nahida: Is that it, though? I've always felt that this "Doctor" is different from the Akademiya sages. He doesn't seem to share their sense of urgency... Instead of being interested in the end product, it's like he's enjoying the experimental process.

Paimon: Hmm... The Fatui Harbingers are all such weirdos, so The Doctor being weird is actually normal.

Theresa: He experimented on lot's of people. Just like my Grandpa did. He experimented on our friend Collei for years and that left her traumatized.

Durandal: All Harbingers are normal in their own ways.

Mei: We've killed the Fair Lady and won against her. The next one to beat is the Balladeer.

Nahida: So... this Fatui that they're trying to turn into a god... is called "The Balladeer"?

Mei: Yes. His other name is Scaramouche.

Nahida: We had previously come into contact with his consciousness. He harbors particularly strong obsessions... One is the desire for a Gnosis, since he was created to be the vessel for one. The other obsession is probably related to his past. I can't quite explain it.

Paimon: Paimon knows that he was a prototype puppet for the Raiden Shogun before he became a Fatui Harbinger...

Mei: Instead of killing him like a failed experiment she decided to let him experience life. Then he was recruited by the Fatui. If Ei had disposed of him, the Fatui would never have recruited him to join them. He wanted to steal the Gnosis too. Just like the Tsaritsa. But not for her. But for himself.

Paimon: That's why he wants a Gnosis so badly. There's no way he'd willingly be a test subject, not with that temper and ego of his.

Nahida: It sounds like you know The Balladeer quite well.

Mei: We do.

Aether: We've had a few encounters... But none of them were pleasant.

Mei: First in Liyue then in Mondstadt then in Inazuma and now here in Sumeru.

Sakura: First we met him during the incident with meteors, then again when he tried to kill us with a haze he and the Fatui made from crystal marrow, and now here where he's still causing more trouble for everyone.

Nahida: I see. Tell me more about him and what he's like... The more we know now, the better we can plan for and react to any future situation.

They tell Nahida everything they know about The Balladeer...

Nahida: Ah... I see. How fascinating. Alright, time to go. Let's get through here and meet him in person.

Patrick: I sense Fatui here.

They approached some pipes with horizontal brass plates

The ones who couldn't fly, climb up the pipes while the others who can fly, fly up. Then they go through another do which leads to a central structure.

Paimon: The pattern on the ground seems to be all messed up... Let's go around and see if there's a way to fix it.

Purple Heart: Guess it's puzzle time again.

They approached a cart.

Paimon: It seems to have stopped. Let's continue.

In groups of three they took a cart. And they used several switches to get the right pattern. Then they got to a stuck cart

Paimon: Hmm, the cart is stuck. Maybe there's something wrong with the tracks. Let's try adjusting the direction of the device to clear the tracks.

They rotated a switch and then carts were running. After getting all the switches to rotate the floors, they got the right pattern, the center floor opened then an elevator came out. They came back to the center structure.

Mei: If we defeat him. The Fatui will be weakened again. With 2 Harbingers out of the picture they will be down to 9 Harbingers.

In separate groups, they went up the elevator. When all the groups got to the upper floor, Nahida spoke.

Nahida: Looking at its operational status, we must prepare for the worst. The god they wanted to create... is likely close to completion, or already completed.

Aether: That's not a surprise... We've already seen him control the weather.

Paimon: Oh no, what should we do... Paimon can't imagine how hard it would be to fight against a Fatui Harbinger with a Gnosis...

Just as Nahida reaches out with her hand, seeming to summon a certain power on him, The Balladeer suddenly wakes up and repels all of them. Although the sages haven't gotten the chance to infuse the Divine Knowledge Capsules into him, the power of a god has already been vested in The Balladeer. Abandoning his former name, "Kunikuzushi," The Balladeer has become a real god — Shouki no Kami.

The Balladeer: Who would have thought... The world would be so eager for my "birth".

Mei: Scaramouche...

The Balladeer: I remember you Buer, the God of Wisdom

The Balladeer: And standing beside you... the Traveler and his friends.

The Balladeer eyes Mei and Sakura.

The Balladeer: Raiden Mei... And Yae Sakura...

Paimon: Is he all-knowing and powerful now like Greater Lord Rukkhadevata?

Nahida: No, I can't feel the same kind of divinity I felt from the Greater Lord. It seems that the sages didn't get the chance to infuse the Divine Knowledge Capsules into him. But even still... He has undoubtedly become a true "god" now.

Paimon: So we're too late?

Paimon: The Balladeer has already... already become a god...?

Nahida: A body that capitalizes on The Balladeer's original construction as a mechanical puppet, with the Gnosis serving as a constant power supply... How much effort and resources did the sages put into this...? From a purely technological perspective, it's a commendable achievement indeed. It's no exaggeration to say this is the culmination of human wisdom.

Paimon: You sure are something, dishing out compliments at a time like this...

Nahida: But I don't think he's reached the spiritual height of a god.

Aether: So he's still the same, old Balladeer on the inside.

Mei: I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing...

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Strife is engraved upon every god and every Gnosis brought forth into this world. Can you feel it? The exhilaration of such power, and the thrill of anticipation for our contention...

Paimon: Nahida wouldn't feel the same things as you!

Green Heart: Yeah, she won't!

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Do you not realize... that you are interrupting a conversation between gods? Lowly creature, know your place!

Paimon: !!!

Mei shot a lightning bolt from her hand but Scaramouche blocked it with one of his giant hands.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Yet another low life interrupts me!

Aether: Still the same Balladeer we know...

Nahida: The strife engraved upon a Gnosis... You're talking about the Archon War. Teyvat's current peace was not easily won. I didn't personally participate in the Archon War, but the way I see it... All those losses were meaningless, driven by the demands of the "laws." There's no point in bringing it up again.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Hehehe, is that so? Yet I am deeply disappointed that I was never allowed the fortuity to personally participate in the Archon War. This is a first — encountering a god in this world who does not crave power. No wonder your own people have abandoned you, God of Wisdom.

Aether: But from now on... Nahida's followers will only continue to increase in number.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Hmph. Your judgment is as your existence: unsubstantial. This is where everything ends, Buer, the God of Wisdom. You should know that wisdom cannot solve every problem. Like now, where your only option is to face me in combat.

Nahida: ...

Mei summon's Ei's Musou No Isshin then charges up with Electro energy.

Mei: HAAAAA!!!!!!!

Mei charges in first and strikes Shouki no Kami with Ei's Illusion Shattered attack. Then she uses her giant sword and strikes again. Scaramouche attempts to punch her but Mei turns into lightning and dodges.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: PERISH!

Scaramouche shoots Electro attacks from his two back arms.

Theresa: Spread out!

Everyone spreads out then unleashes their attacks all at once. Patrick and the Valkyries summoned their Divine Keys.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Bugs!

Bronya: Cyberangel.cfg. Ride on!

Project Bunny: Ride on!

Project Bunny transformed into its cycle form and Bronya began materializing cannons shooting at the Balladeer as she passed by on Project Bunny. Shouki no Kami then began using Pyro attacks from his front left arm and Cryo attacks from his front right arm. Seele had to use her Hydro attacks to extinguish the flames and Kiana had to use her Pyro attacks to melt the ice. Shouki no Kami then began using more elemental attacks like Anemo, Hydro, and Cryo.

Asuka: How did this guy get so many elements!

Durandal: The sages must have given him lots of upgrades! One of which was to use multiple elements!

Durandal throws Abyss Flower at Shouki no Kami and it pierces right through the armor and hits the wall on the other side.

Mei: SCARAMOUCHE!

Mei uses multiple colors of lightning bolts and lands direct hits.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: DON'T CALL ME THAT!

Shouki no Kami fires an attack at Mei but she dodges then she slashes at the helmet up close then lands a punch with Electro energy.

Mei: Let me ask you this! You remember the 5 Kasen?! That group you were a part of! The 4 people that you caused trouble to, all those years ago when you went by the name Kuronushi! And do you remember a man named Khaedehara Yoshinori?! The man you humiliated and whose life you spared all those years ago who worked for the Kamisato clan!

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: ... What does it matter to you anyway?!

Mei pierces the armor with Ei's sword.

Mei: EVERYTHING!

Then she electrocutes Shouki no Kami. Sakura uses Jizo Mitama's power and summons the giant red spirit then it attacks the Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom.

Mei: Asuka!

Asuka: Right!

Asuka materializes giant Geo stones and crystals and smash them down on Shouki no Kami.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: ENOUGH!

Shouki no Kami began to charge up an Electro attack and the ones on the ground were not safe.

So they had to get energy blocks to charge up the Neo Akasha Terminal so they could activate the Elemental Matrixes to block the attack. Shouki no Kami unleashes the attack only to get blocked by the Elemental Matrixes. Shouki no Kami kept using his elemental attacks on everyone. Mei strikes Shouki no Kami again, this time with Ei's spear.

Mei: It's time to pay Scaramouche! Activate the Electro matrixes!

Aether did that and got Shouki no Kami immobalazied.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Agh... My... body...

They kept up their onslaught but then he got back up and attacked them again.

Green Heart held Nahida with her left arm while she used her double-edged sword to fight with her right arm.

Green Heart: I'm sorry that you can't fight Nahida. But at least you have all of us fighting for you.

Nahida: I know Big Sister Vert.

Green Heart blushes deep red from what Nahida said.

Green Heart: Ahhhh!!!! I feel so touched! I feel more motivated to fight for you!

Green Heart materializes her green tornado this time with Anemo and Dendro energy and damages Scaramouche.

White Heart and Bronya do a combined Cryo attack by charging in and piercing through Shouki no Kami.

After some time, Shouki no Kami had Aether pinned down which caused Electro energy to come off the floor then the floor to collapse. The ones who could not fly landed down on the ground while the others who could fly, flew down to them.

Homura: This guy is tough.

White Sisters (Rom and Ram): LOOK!

Everyone gasped. The rest of the body appeared. The upper body connected to the lower body and became complete.

Black Heart: This is bad.

Patrick: I thought that Solaris Phase 2 was worse but this is just as bad!

Purple Heart: And like those giants we had to help Uzume defeat!

Kiana: We have to focus!

Mei: If he brought out the big guns! Us too!

Everyone glowed with elemental energy then charged in.

Everyone: HAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!

Then they unleashed everything they had against Shouki no Kami.

Shouki no Kami unleashed several elemental attacks. First two Anemo and Hydro attacks. Then he teleported and unleashed Pyro and Hydro attacks. Then he slams down two giant electro spears causing Electro energy to spread out.

Kiana: You think getting bigger makes you stronger?! Think again!

Kiana slashes her sword but Shouki no Kami teleports then reappears again and strikes Kiana.

Then several portals opened up behind him then homing electro attacks on everyone.

Kiana: Two can play this game. VOID!

Kiana changed into the Herrscher of the Void then uses her Void Unleashed Ultimate and unleashes her own homing attacks deflecting the homing attacks.

Kiana: Sirin!

Sirin: Right!

Sirin changes into her original Herrscher of the Void form and uses her Void Unleashed attack. Patrick materializes thousands of swords and sends them all at Shouki no Kami.

Mei: AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Mei uses her giant sword and slashes through the armor.

Mei: It's time to pay, Scaramouche!

Then she punches Shouki no Kami right on the head.

Mei: This is for Teppei!

Mei punches really hard.

Mei: For Kazuha!

She punches him again.

Mei: For everyone you've killed in Inazuma! HAAAAA!!!!!!!

Mei punches him again.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: ENOUGH!!!!!!!!

Shouki no Kami teleports away then reappears behind Mei and impales her with a spear made from Electro.

Mei: AHHHHH!!!!!!

Kiana: Mei-Senpai!

Then he punches her into the ground. Aether charges in dodging the attacks from the portals behind Shouki no Kami jumps up on him then strikes him at the top of his head. He tries to penetrate but is thrown back. Then Shouki no Kami catches everyone who couldn't fly in tornadoes then punches them down to the ground with his fists.

Despite their best efforts, they are no match for Shouki no Kami. The flying members of the group flew down to the injured while Kiana carried Mei. in her arms.

Kiana: He's too powerful.

Patrick: We can't give up.

Shouki no Kami began to charge up an attack.

Purple Heart: Charge up a combined attack!

Everyone: Right!

Everyone who could still fight, began to charge up their finishing attacks to try to counter.

Seeing that they are losing, Nahida decides to throw herself in front of them.

Nahida: Vert! Let me go!

Green Heart: What?! NO!

Nahida: I have to save them!

Nahida uses her power and forces Green Heart to let go of her then she gets in front of everyone.

Shouki no Kami's giant limb attempts to grab Nahida but Green Heart blocks it.

Green Heart: You... leave... this... little... goddess... ALONE!!!!!!!!

Green Heart pushes Shouki no Kami back but he teleports and punches Green Heart into the ground then he grabs Nahida. Then he grabs Mei, Sakura, and Green Heart. The others tried to save them but Shouki no Kami electrocutes all of them instantly and causes severe damage to them so they can't get up. The Balladeer brings Nahida over to his head then the head armor opens up.

The Balladeer: This is supposed to be a battle between gods, yet you choose to hide behind mortals. And now, you're acting like you'd sacrifice yourself for a bunch of humans...

Scaramouche turns to Mei.

The Balladeer: And you... Raiden Mei... You have intentions to kill all because I took something from my mother and because you saw what my mother did was a disgrace. Please. She made it clear that she never wants to return to Celestia ever again and cut all ties with Celestia. And she sees what the Tsaritsa is doing is none of her concern and is no threat to eternity. You're doing this for nothing.

Mei growls in anger.

The Balladeer: You're just a fake copy of the Raiden Shogun. You understand nothing of what Celestia has done in the past and why it ordered the Raiden Shogun to kill Oroboshi to silence him from telling anyone the horrible truths about Celestia. You understand nothing!

He turns his attention to Sakura.

The Balladeer: Yae Sakura... I thank you for what you and the Shrine Maiden did for me.

Sakura: We had no choice!

The Balladeer: I'm glad that I used the wrath of the gods on you. That haze was just what I needed to get the Gnosis. I can see how much you both want it back. Too bad. The Raiden Shogun and the Shrine Maiden never want it back ever again. It's mine now.

Scaramouche turns his attention back to Nahida.

The Balladeer: Are you having fun proving a false sense of heroism to yourself, Buer?

The Balladeer, beneath his mechanical shell, reaches out to seize her Gnosis ramming his hand through Nahida's chest, to the everyone's horror

Everyone: NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As they look upon what seems like a destined defeat, they somehow feel a strong sense of déjà vu.

Nahida: The data collection is almost complete. Do you even know how many times you've tried to take my Gnosis from me?

Their surroundings shatter and everyone is located back in the positions they were in before the fight began. As it turns out, all their previous fights were in a samsara dream. According to Nahida, this is the 168th loop.

Nahida: We just concluded the 168th loop. Did you know that, in the effort to create you, The people of Sumeru were forced to live through the exact same number of Sabzeruz Festivals and samsara cycles?

Sakura: Kallen and I have experienced samsaras before and now we've put our experiences to good use.

Kallen: What she said. We have experience with samsaras.

The Balladeer: The power of dreams... When did you use it on me...

Kallen: When she used her power on you before you woke up.

Sakura: She sent her power into you while you were too busy sleeping and that's what we needed to gain experience in fighting against you.

The Balladeer: You can't even defeat me in a dream.

Mei: Yes we can, Scaramouche!

The Balladeer: What do you hope to achieve with this little trick?

Green Heart: You will see soon enough.

Nahida: Come, everyone, just like before. Allow me to awaken the memories in your dreams.

They all unleash their attacks and deal a lot of damage on the Balladeer. The Neo Akasha Terminal fires Dendro blasts at the Balladeer.

Mei: NO... YOU'RE... NOOOOOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

Mei slashes through Scaramouche using another of Ei's techniques.

Seele: Catch us if you can!

Seele slashes through with her Scythe covered in Hydro.

Mei: You're gonna lose to us just like Signora!

Mei slashes through with Electro causing the Electro-Charged reaction of Hydro and Electro. Uni shoots her guns from a long distance. Kallen, now wearing her Rogue Extraordinare outfit, uses her Ultimate with Selune's Elgy and slashes through the giant with the shadows and lands more damage. Patrick and Fu Hua materialize a giant dragon and a giant phoenix made of fire and slam them both against the Balladeer causing an explosion.

Nahida: Now it's my turn.

Nahida uses her catalyst and sends Dendro attacks at the Balladeer. Then she uses her elemental skill, All Schemes to Know and marks Shouki no Kami with the Seed of Skandha. Then she deals more damage to Shouki no Kami.

Green Heart: I'm so proud of her.

Green Heart uses her Bluebottle spin attack. Then she uses her Whirlwind attack only; she uses her Anemo Vision to make it even bigger and hit Shouki no Kami.

Nahida then casts her Elemental Burst, Illusory Heart. The Court of Dreams and the Shrine of Maya materialize. Her attacks were enhanced thanks to the effects from the Pyro, Electro, and Hydro users.

Shouki no Kami was having a hard time trying to hit everyone. The CPUs and CPU Candidates fly in while unleashing their attacks then fly up above Shouki no Kami then get behind him.

Purple Heart: Now let's kick his butt.

They charge in with their legs first covered in the elements and kick him from behind then use more elemental attacks. Shouki no Kami attempted to grab them from behind but they escaped from his clutches.

Purple Heart: Felt like what the Dinobots did to Unicron all over again.

They slashed through and used elemental attacks. Purple Heart and Purple Sister both attack last and Scaramouche explodes.

Asuka: It's our turn now!

Homura, Yumi, and Miyabi: Right!

The 4 Shinobi use their Shinobi Extremes and deal lots of damage on the Balladeer.

Shouki no Kami: CURSE YOU!

Scaramouche began to charge up a giant orb.

Sakura used a command seal and summoned Tamamo No Mae.

Tamamo: Mikon~ Tamamo No Mae is here!

Shouki no Kami: Tamamo No Mae.

Patrick also uses a command seal and summons the servants who were with them in the desert.

Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom: Now, your eyes have been opened.

Shouki No Kami throws the orb at them but Kiana used a Void portal and sent it back at the giant getting damaged by his own attack. The servants spread out and unleashed their attacks.

Tamamo flew up above higher than Shouki No Kami.

Tamamo: Now have a taste of my Noble Phantasm!

Tamamo's mirror appeared then it went up then Tamamo summoned large orbs of fire and ice around her.

Tamamo: Noble Phantasm! Eightfold Blessing of Amaterasu!

Tamamo hurls the orbs at the false god while holding up a giant fire orb then Tamamo threw down the giant fire orb down and made contact landing a direct hit on the false god.

Altera: My turn!

Altera shoots a red laser above which then turned into construct circles.

Altera: Noble Phantasm! Tear Drop Photon Ray!

The beam hit and caused lots of damage.

Patrick: Just one last attack. This time with all 7 elements.

The Vision wielders and Aether got together in line then the Visions glowed as they concentrated their elemental powers as energy flowed out and aimed at the giant.

Everyone: Seven Element attack! FINAL... STRIKE!!!!!!!!!

A giant beam shot out and strikes Shouki No Kami bringing his health down to zero.

They managed to defeat Shouki no Kami with Nahida's help. The giant collapses down to his knees.

He broke out of the helmet.

The Balladeer: Yes I do! That's mine!

When Mei takes it into her hands, she begins to charge up Ei's Musou No Hitotachi.

She rushes in then she slashes through the giant and the whole thing gets enveloped in a column of Electro.
