Sakura and Tamamo were sweeping the pavement. Higokumaru was just sitting on top of the roof. Yae Miko really appreciated Sakura's help at the shrine. Both her and Sakura were becoming sisters like how Mei and Ei were becoming sisters.

Sakura: Sweeping is done. What should we do next?

Tamamo: I don't know.

Higokumaru: We should ask Miko.

Yae Miko: You should go to the Adventurer's Guild to see if there's any new commissions. I can continue working for you.

Sakura: Thank you Miko. We'll go there right now. I don't want my sword skills to get rusty.

Paimon: Say, Inazuma has become a lot more stable lately — why haven't we received any new commissions...? If this goes on, your sword's gonna get rusty. Well, we've got nothing else to do — let's head over to the Adventurers' Guild!

The 3 foxes met with the Traveler and Paimon at the Adventurers' Guild where they all spoke with Katheryne.

Katheryne: Hello, Traveler. And you too Sakura. You both couldn't have come at a better time.

Sakura: What's new today Katheryne?

Katheryne: The Adventurers' Guild has received a new commission, but it's a little complicated. We've struggled to find the right candidate for the job.

Aether: Lay it on us, it's starting to feel like eternity around here.

Katheryne: I'll get straight to the point. The client is a distinctive musician from Liyue. She's in possession of a temporary travel permit that's about to expire, and is looking for someone familiar with the process to help her renew it and avoid deportation.

Aether: Does this really count as adventuring...

Sakura: (Aether and Lumine have made a lot of faces which have been made into a ton of memes. Like the disappointed face when he almost refused to deliver a letter which

Paimon: Hmm, a distinctive female musician from Liyue... sounds familiar...

Aether: Remembering really isn't your strong suit, Paimon.

Sakura: I think we have an idea who she is.

Paimon: Hmm... Ah! Paimon knows!

Katheryne: Oh? Is she a friend of yours? She headed for the Tenryou Commission after submitting her request, you should be able to find her there. I hear that the Commission has been very busy recently, so they probably won't be able to help her...

Xinyan: Huh? Well, I'll be! Paimon, Traveler, Sakura, Higokumaru, what are you four doing here!?

Sakura: We're here because of your commission. Oh and Xinyan, this is Tamamo No Mae. My servant.

There was a guy standing on the side of the road calling out, like he was selling Sunsettias or somethin'... I only inquired because I felt bad for him.

Paimon: Aww, that was nice of you...

Xinyan: Well anyway, he showed me a ton of material — the Iridescence Tour is a big deal over in Fontaine. I heard that gettin' stage time means your music might start to be heard far and wide.

Paimon: Wow, you'd be famous overnight if you were up there!

Xinyan: You think so? Me too! I want as many folks as possible to hear my music — that's why I'm so set on attendin' the festival.

Sakura: Seele is back in Fontaine now continuing her training to get stronger after the competition in Liyue Harbor. I wonder if she's heard of it?

Xinyan: This year's Iridescence Tour is bein' held here in Inazuma. I've been honin' a bunch of new songs since I signed up — I even asked Beidou to ferry me out here ahead of time to scout the place out and make sure everythin' goes perfect. Xiangling made me up a special packed lunch to wish me well! But... the organizers...

Higokumaru: What happened to them?

Xinyan: They ran into trouble out on the ocean — they can't make it. They even got fishing boats to send a message to Inazuma so the authorities could start spreadin' the word — the Iridescence Tour is canceled!

Foxes: Canceled?!

Xinyan: How can they just cancel it like that? I come here to perform, and they tell me this after I arrive? Now there's no way of getting the travel permit that the organizers arranged for me, and my temporary travel permit here is about to expire. Things couldn't have gone much worse...

Paimon: Seems like no one was more excited than you about performing at the festival, why should you get the short end of the stick... It's not fair...

Aether: Yeah...

Xinyan: *sigh* It ain't always easy being a musician... Well shucks, enough complainin'. This ain't the first time I wasn't able to perform. Time to move on!

I submitted a request at the Adventurers' Guild and headed straight to the Tenryou Commission to see what else I could find out. However... I've been standing here for ages already. I'm not sure what's keepin' those Tenryou Commission samurai so busy that they don't even have time to say hi.

Paimon: How dare they! Paimon bets they're just goofing off!

Xinyan: It's fine, stuff like this is bound to happen when you step onto unfamiliar shores. Hey Travelers, Beidou told me you've been in Inazuma for a while now. You must know how to get things done 'round here, right? Think you can help me out?

Sakura: Sure Xinyan, we'll see what we can do.

Don't sweat it, We're on the case.

Xinyan: Now we're talkin'! If you can get my permit straightened out, I'll write you a killer tune as a token of my heartfelt gratitude.

Yata Kouki: Huh? You again? I thought I told you we're busy already! You'll have to wait.

Xinyan: Sorry fellas, perhaps my agents here can explain.

Aether: Is Kujou Sara here?

Sakura: We demand to see her.

Yata Kouki: Madam Kujou Sara...? Oh, you must be the traveler... And you must be Yae Sakura. Is this outsider girl a friend of yours?

Paimon: Sure is! She got stood up and now she's stuck here, so she needs to extend her travel permit. Come on, what kind of impression are you guys creating for visitors here, hmm?

Yata Kouki: Please don't be mistaken, we're not purposely delaying anything. Something big happened recently and the Tenryou Commission is spread thin — we don't have the resources right now.

Yata Kouki: The reason this young lady is still in the queue isn't because she came later than anyone else, it's because there's no one free to take care of smaller issues like travel permits.

Paimon: Oh, what is this "something big"?

Yata Kouki: *sigh* I can't tell you any more. Madam Kujou Sara is in the courtyard. Ask her yourself if you want to understand the situation.

Aether: Seems like we don't have much choice.

Paimon: So they really are busy...

Higokumaru: That must be why.

Xinyan: Seems that way! But that's OK, they're just doing their job.

Sakura: Where is Kujou Sara now?

Yata Kouki: Madam Kujou Sara is in the courtyard, you can try asking her yourself.

They entered into the courtyard where there were some samurai.

Paimon: Uhh, why do these samurai look so serious? Like they're about to go to battle...

Then Kujou Sara came outside.

Kujou Sara: Formations! Follow the vanguard and assemble outside the city!

Sakura: Sara.

Kujou Sara: Hmm? Sakura? Traveler? And who else do we have here?

Aether: Sorry for interrupting your work.

Sakura: There is just something that we need you to do.

Aether: We don't mean to pry.

Originally, I was planning to lead a force there myself... but an extended period on the front lines would leave the Tenryou Commission without oversight... it just didn't feel right.

Xinyan: If you need folks who can fight, I'll wager we can certainly be of assistance! Ain't that right, Travelers?

Aether: Sounds like a plan.

Sakura: We're pretty handy in combat.

Tamamo: Yes.

Higokumaru: And always give it our all.

Paimon: Yeah! We do you a favor, and you do us a favor. Got it?

Xinyan: Geez, are you really giving orders to a general, Paimon?

Kujou Sara: Hehe, it's fine, I'm indebted to you. This really is the best solution at the moment. If it were anyone else, I'd have to refuse... but even the Almighty Shogun has recognized your abilities, Travelers. I'm happy to assign this task to you.

Xinyan: Say now, sounds like you've made quite a name for yourself in Inazuma...

Sakura: We have. I share the same blood with Miko and Mei shares the same blood with the Almighty Shogun.

Aether: You know us...

Xinyan: I'm gettin' to! Xiangling and the other folks are always sayin' you're destined for big things...

Higokumaru: We are! You better believe it!

Xinyan: Madam Kujou Sara, where should we go next?

Kujou Sara: I'll take you over to the location now. I should warn you that I haven't been there myself yet, so I'm not sure how dangerous things could get... As a precaution, please bring sufficient combat equipment and supplies with you.

Paimon: Uh, can we write off the expenses?

Kujou Sara: Fair enough, I'll put in a request now...

Xinyan: Hold up! I remember there's a travel permit processin' fee, why don't you write that off and I'll cover all our other expenses.

Aether: How generous of you, Xinyan!

Kujou Sara: I will see to it personally, you have nothing to worry about.

Xinyan: Fantastic! Thank you Ma'am!

Paimon: So it's agreed? Alright, let's take care of this Domain!

Xinyan: Sounds like a plan. Let's hit the road!

???: Don't forget me too.

Coming down the steps was Mei in her Shadow Dash.

Kujou Sara: Shogun... uh I mean Mei.

Mei: I heard about what happened. Ei... The Almighty Shogun has allowed me to go assist. Sara is still getting used to me around and is still trying to get used to telling us apart.

Sakura: Is she now?

Sara blushed madly.

Kujou Sara: Don't look at me like that! It's not that difficult to tell them apart!

Sakura and Mei laugh. Then the camera points up to the sky.

Kujou Sara: Please stop laughing!

(Camp)

Paimon: Hey! Look over there!

Xinyan: Those samurai look like they could use some help...

Watanabe: Ma'am, you're finally here! We were ambushed by monsters at the entrance as soon as we started to investigate. We were able to push most of them back into the Domain, but... some of them escaped to the southeast... Many of our troops were injured, so I decided to tend to them before issuing the order to pursue. Forgive me!

Kujou Sara: Southeast? Oh no, there'll be civilians along the way... This is urgent, we need to split up for now. I'll lead a team to pursue the monsters that got away. The situation here I leave in your hands. I'm sure you don't need reminding... but be careful.

Aether: Don't worry. We're professionals.

Sakura: I'm a shrine maiden. I can fight.

Mei: And I can use the same moves the Shogun can. Even the Musou No Hitotachi.

Kujou Sara leaves.

Paimon: And off she goes.

Xinyan: Wow, she ain't playin', huh.

Paimon: Well, she is leading an army after all!

Sakura: And she's my rival.

Mei: She is also completely loyal to the Raiden Shogun.

Paimon: Okay, let's get over to the entrance!

Watanabe: We must tend to the wounded quickly and consolidate our position... The Tenryou Commission must not falter, no matter the odds!

The party approaches the domain where there were monsters.

Paimon: Look, monsters! Let's take 'em out!

Mei hold's her hand out then the Musou Isshin Sword materializes in her right hand.

Mei: While in the Plane of Euthymia, Ei has been teaching me a lot of things. Like how to use her weapons and moves properly. Watch.

Mei charges in with lightning coming off of her then she does a combination slash killing 10 monsters.

Sakura jumps in and slashes a hilichurl with her sword.

Sakura: Miko has been teaching me a lot of things too. Now let's waste them.

The others join the fight as they fight against the monsters. They finally were witnessing Xinyan fighting with a cleaver, Pyro attacks, and her guitar.

Sakura and Mei did a double slash with the overload reaction. Aether finished off the last of the monsters.

Paimon: Seems like it's over... Did we stop them?

Sakura: No. More monsters will come out.

Mei: Ei's teachings are really paying off.

Xinyan: Huh? There's somethin' on the ground.

Xinyan noticed a paper doll on the ground everyone else noticed the paper doll.

Paimon: It's just... a piece of paper? It looks like a little paper figure. Is it a talisman? Maybe one of the samurai dropped it.

Sakura: I feel like I've seen something like this before.

Xinyan: A paper figure, huh... reminds me of the shikigami they talk about in the legends.

Aether: Shikigami?

Xinyan: Yeah. I spend a lotta time looking into legends from all over Teyvat — they give me inspiration for my lyrics.

Sakura: Shikigami. I've read all about them before. They are paper dolls that come to life.

Xinyan: They say in Inazuma there are paper cut-outs imbued with magical power that follow their masters wherever they go. Some of them can banish evil, repel monsters, or even protect your home.

Paimon: Sounds a bit like all that sigil and adepti art stuff they have over in Liyue...

Aether: Sounds like I need to trade Paimon in for paper and scissors...

Higokumaru: Sounds strong enough not to warrant a "fifths of a wild boar" measuring system...

Paimon: What!? Paimon is a professional Teyvat travel guide AND your best friend! Let's see your fighting origami do that!

Xinyan: Wait! Look! The shikigami... It's... it's movin'!

The shikigami was opening its eyes.

Paimon: Hey there, lil' paper guy! Can you hear us? Can you talk?

???: Where am I...? Ah! Did I faint?

Then it floated up into the air.

Higokumaru: Oh my God! A real shikigami!

Tamamo: How many more Yokai exist in Teyvat?!

???: Oh no... I'm... Wait! Did you see the monsters that escaped from here? Where did they go?

Xinyan: There were monsters around here alright, but we took care of all of 'em.

???: Phew... Thank you. And thank goodness they didn't manage to escape... I'd never forgive myself if someone got hurt...

Paimon: Are you a shikigami? Those monsters... you didn't let them out, right?

Xinyan: To my knowledge, shikigami are all about defeating monsters... so what's your story?

Shiki Taishou: My name is Shiki Taishou, and I'm sorry you have to see me like this on our first meeting. This Domain is called the Mystic Onmyou Chamber. I'm the overseer in charge here. The Mystic Onmyou Chamber has been in an extended slumber, just as I have. However, a few days ago, under the influence of an unknown power, all the monsters in the Domain were suddenly awakened... and the door was opened... Actually... it seems like I may have suffered some memory loss in the process. All I remember is waking up to a living nightmare... I tried my best to stop them. I was surprised to see the monsters turn into paper charms when they were defeated. That's when I remembered that they must also be onmyoudou creations... and form part of this onmyou chamber, like me.

Xinyan: Onmyoudou creations? I don't follow...

Shiki Taishou: I'm sorry... I can't give you a clear explanation right now...

Aether: But... what about yourself?

Shiki Taishou: Me...? M—My sincere apologies! I am a shikigami, but all I know is that I'm the overseer responsible for this Domain. I can't remember who my master is, or why I was created in the first place. *sigh* I'm a failure...

Paimon: You mean, you don't even know if you're one of the good guys?
Paimon: Hey, don't worry! Paimon heard that those with memory loss sometimes start to remember things when they return to a familiar place. Why don't you try going back into the Domain?

Shiki Taishou: I was just about to try that.

Mei: If that's where we need to go then we should.

Shiki Taishou: I still have many unanswered questions, but one thing I'm certain of is that my powers originate from this Domain... We might even be one and the same. For some reason... I have a feeling that I should be able to completely control it!

Paimon: If shikigami are supposed to help with banishing evil and repelling monsters, you were probably stationed here to guard the entrance!

Sakura: Shikigami are also supposed to serve their masters.

Paimon: As for your memory loss, did you ever hear those stories? Y'know, the ones where someone loses their memory and forgets about the incredible powers they had. Once they remember, they become invincible again!

Shiki Taishou: Actually, I was just thinking along those lines... Do you think you all can help me out?

Paimon: The most urgent task is helping you to remember, right? Once your memory's back, you might be able to control the Domain again, and stop any more monsters from escaping.

Xinyan: Travelers, can I borrow you for a second?

Sakura: Ok, Xinyan.

The Valkyries, the Traveler, and Xinyan move aside.

Xinyan: This Shiki Taishou has only just woken up, and it's lost part of its memory... Do you trust it?

Aether: ...I'm not sure.

Sakura: Shikigami follow their orders from their creators and if Shiki Taishou's create created him to help people, he should be trusted.

Xinyan: If it really is a guardian of the Domain, then we're in good company... but if it's not...

Aether: We can't rule out the opposite.

Mei: If its purpose is to create monsters...

Sakura: Then he might turn on us and ry to kill us.

Xinyan: ...Exactly. We shouldn't make any foregone conclusions, but we still gotta be careful. Besides, we still don't know who built this Domain, or why there are so many monsters inside. We need to get more of an understandin'. Paimon on the other hand seems to trust it quite a bit. I guess she's still a child at heart.

Aether: Paimon has a thing for cute pieces of paper.

Sakura: Even Higokumaru is still a child at heart.

Mei: The Raiden Shogun can still act like a child too.

They go back to the little ones and the fox girl.

Xinyan: Hold on there, Paimon. Let's get a grasp of the situation before we get too hasty.

Shiki Taishou: Mm... I understand. Between my mysterious memory loss and my link to this onmyou chamber, it's normal for you to have your doubts.

Xinyan: Why don't you let me test your sincerity?

Paimon: Sincerity? Sounds like something interesting is about to happen...!

Xinyan: You may not believe it, but music lovers like myself are able to use a special kinda language, that isn't used by ordinary folks. This language can be transmitted to others in the form of music itself.

Aether: I see...

Paimon: Special language? Paimon wants to hear it!

Xinyan: It's an honest language that touches the truest depths of the heart. I'll be using this language to perform a test, to see if our friend Shiki Taishou here is truly trustworthy.

Shiki Taishou: Music? That's not something I have much experience with... But I'm willing to accept any trials you deem necessary. All I want to do is take care of the crisis at hand.

Xinyan: Alright, well then listen up and look lively!

Xinyan brings out her guitar and plays some music.

Then she finishes.

Xinyan: So! Hope your spines ain't shiverin' too much.

Aether: The performance was spectacular...

Tamamo: Mikon! It was very spectacular!

Higokumaru: Theresa, Lilaya, and Rozaliya would want to see you perform and teach them how to be great idols!

Paimon: ...But you only played one song! Is that enough for the test?

Xinyan: The language I spoke was hidden in the music. You won't notice it, but it'll find its way into your heart... and expand your mind. Every soul reacts differently to this kinda language. Just tell me how it made you feel, and I'll tell you the color of your soul!

Paimon: What!? That sounds amazing!

Xinyan: A kind heart, a heart forced into evil deeds, a heart closed off from having grown used to misfortune... all of them come in different colors. So, Shiki Taishou, tell me. What did my music make you feel?
Shiki Taishou: I'm sorry, I... I'm not sure I understand. I've never heard music like this before, so it's impossible for me to grasp the hidden intricacies. What I can say is that my body and soul... if I have a soul... has been uplifted by your melody. I can see the world that you described.

Aether: World?

Mei: What world?

Shiki Taishou: I'm not sure how to put it... but it felt like I was wandering aimlessly on a path, with a mist all around me. It felt like I was wounded... and my head was aching. There were sounds coming from beyond the mist that frightened me, and I worried I was about to be swallowed by some hidden danger. But all I could do was continue forward. I didn't know where my destination was... but it felt like someone was waiting there for me.

Aether: That's... very detailed.

Paimon: Wow... that's a lot of feels for a piece of paper, maybe Paimon failed the test. All Paimon could think of was a bunch of people eating Grilled Fish...

Higokumaru: Always thinking about food like Kiana.

Shiki Taishou: Grilled Fish! I think I saw something similar to that... I was grilling fish with people whose faces I couldn't make out.

Higokumaru: Anything else?

Shiki Taishou: There was a fire at the end of the mist. People were sitting around with freshly caught fish on bamboo skewers... I'd transformed into an actual person — I was having dinner with them.

Tamamo: And?

Shiki Taishou: ...And yet I had the feeling that I'd be leaving and continuing on my way again once the sun rose.

Xinyan: An endless journey... and there wasn't any fightin'? Mighty interestin'... So my melody didn't conjure up any thoughts of fightin' for you?

Shiki Taishou: Oh... should it have?

Xinyan: No, no, you gave a great answer. I had a few friends listen to that tune before as well. Your answer really reminded me of theirs... As far as songs go, it's pretty complex, with a lotta twists and turns, but the image you had prevailed the whole way through... You must be very similar to those friends of mine.

Paimon: Are you talking about Xiangling and Beidou?

Xinyan: Haha, that's right! I'll wager you're a like-minded bein'! Based on your answer, I'm willing to trust you.

Shiki Taishou: ...Really? I was just trying to describe how I felt, I didn't think you'd be able to trust me so quickly.

Xinyan: That's because this is all still mysterious to you! I have no doubt about the language of music. It tells me who I can trust. Music ain't bound to anythin' — it's free in the truest sense of the word. Shiki Taishou, to me, out of all the things you could have thought of, the images you landed on make me feel like we were supposed to run into you.

Shiki Taishou: Thank you very much, young lady!

Xinyan: No need to thank me, trusting you is an extension of my belief in my musical intuition. Not to strum my own chord or anythin', hehe.

Aether: I still have my reservations.

Xinyan: Well, this is all just my own opinion, and everyone's entitled to theirs. But for the moment, it seems like we're all in the same boat either way. Traveler, I hope you can see to allowin' Shiki Taishou to tag along for now.

Sakura: I trust your judgment.

Xinyan: No kiddin'? Hahah, I'm lucky to have friends with such great taste in music!

Shiki Taishou: I—I will never forget the kindness you've all shown me! I'm certain I can be of help to you... if only I can regain my memories.

Xinyan: Oh, enough of that. We're not helpin' you because we need somethin' from you. The most important thing now is to prepare ourselves for what lies ahead.

So they enter into the domain.

Now they were inside of the domain.

Higokumaru: Wow! So this is what it looks like inside of the domain!

Xinyan: Strange... the Mystic Onmyou Chamber doesn't look special in any way.

Shiki Taishou: True, but I can sense my power regenerating... Whew, I feel much better now.

All of a sudden two pairs of feet and a floating shadow pass by.

Paimon: Wait! Look over there! Is there... someone here already?

Shiki Taishou: Someone inside the Domain? I... I can't believe it. Who would choose to enter a Domain like this one...?

Aether: They look familiar...

???: Oh? I was wondering who it could be, but it seems you—

Aether and Valkyries: That voice...!

???: I heard your footsteps and thought: Who in Teyvat would set foot in such a dangerous Domain...?

The person revealed to be Childe/Tartaglia.

Sakura and Mei: CHILDE?!

Paimon: Ah! It's you!

Childe: Then I heard your voice and well... Haha, it all made sense.

???: It's not just him.

Another person revealed herself. It was Kallen in her Sündenjäger Battlesuit.

Sakura and Mei: KALLEN?!

Childe: It's been a long time, Travelers. You're getting bolder.

Paimon: Childe! Kallen! What are you both doing here?

Kallen: You will not believe how we both ended up in here.

Paimon: The Domain, wait... Are you responsible for all this!?

Kallen: No it wasn't him.

Paimon: And what proof do you have!

Kallen: I was with him the whole time while being in this domain!

Xinyan: "Child?" He's on the tall side isn't he?

Aether: It's "Childe" with an "e".

Kallen: He also goes by Tartaglia.

Childe: Hello miss, Tartaglia will do just fine, I'm—

Paimon: Paimon'll tell you who he is! He's someone who shows up before bad things happen!

Childe: Hey now, all this time apart and this is the greeting I get?

Mei: Well we still haven't gotten over with what almost happened to Liyue even after we helped you with your little brother Teucer.

Paimon: Y—You know what Paimon's talking about!

Paimon: (Wait, Xinyan doesn't know what Paimon's talking about...! And knowing Xinyan, if she found out about Childe's actions in Liyue... Oh boy...)

Childe: (Hmm, interesting attire, but I think she's a Liyue girl... Now then, perhaps I should just be upfront...?)

Paimon: Uh, uh... H—How about this—

Childe: Actually, I want to start by—

Sakura: Hold it. Leave it to Paimon.

Paimon: This is an adventurer we befriended in Mondstadt! Childe is just a nickname we gave him!

Childe: Huh?

Valkyries: HUH?!

Aether: Eh?

Paimon: T—Tartaglia here is allllways messing stuff up! Even when the dangers are obvious, he just recklessly charges in — something an adventurer should NEVER do! So we get a lil' annoyed with him sometimes, hehe...

Childe: ...Uhh... Yes! Yes, yes — I couldn't have put it better myself. I too am an adventurer, and I've caused my fair share of trouble for Paimon, the Valkyries, and the Traveler here, for which I'm... unfathomably sorry.

Kallen: (Why couldn't she call him an adventurer from Snezhnaya? Oh forget it.)

Kallen: Normally I'm a nun but I am also a master thief by the name of Rouge Extraordinare. But I still do good things for people and my friends. I'm wearing this outfit now because I'm adventuring as an adventurer now.

Selene's Elgy: And I'm her little companion. An ELF.

Aether: (Impressive, Paimon, impressive.)

Xinyan: Oh, so you're a Mondstadter! Pleasure to meet ya, I'm from Liyue myself. The name's Xinyan, and the name of the game is rock 'n' roll!

Childe: The pleasure's all mine. So, are you here to explore the Domain too?

Xinyan: That's right, we're trying to find out why the monsters here are so active.

Xinyan: According to Shiki Taishou here, the Domain is known as the Mystic Onmyou Chamber. There are lots of dangerous monsters inside that were created using onmyoudou.

Childe: A Domain that lets its monsters escape in the outside world... What forces are at play here?

Mei: A lot of forces.

Childe: As for me, I stumbled in almost by accident, but now I'm curious about this mystery.

Kallen: I stumbled in here too. Well actually I was following him.

Selune's Elgy: And now we get reunited.

Childe: We adventurers don't rest until the truth comes to light — it's in our nature. So, do you mind if I join you guys? I can offer my aid in return.
Childe: If you haven't heard, I'm pretty handy in a fight...
Xinyan: Traveler, what do you think?

Aether: ...

Childe: You're not going to reject me, are you? Oh, don't be so cruel, Traveler — you know how strong I am!

Aether: Alright, you can join us.

Childe: Heh, now we're talking.

Sakura: But if you double cross us again.

Sakura draws her sword.

Sakura: I'll cut you in half.

Childe: Don't worry. I won't double cross you this time.

Kallen: Yeah... I guess I'm tagging along too.

Selune's Elgy: And me too!

Xinyan: Another addition to the Shiki Taishou memory huntin' crew! There's strength in numbers, haha.

Childe: I'm assuming Shiki Taishou is the little paper fellow here, right?

Tamamo: That's right!

Higokumaru: That's him!

Childe: Hmm... A simple yet captivating design, and look at the little face! I bet my brother would love one.

Shiki Taishou: Uhh... Is he complimenting me?

Paimon: ...Yeah, take it as a compliment.

Shiki Taishou: Ahem, alright, why don't I bring our new companions up to speed?

Shiki Taishou explains his amnesia and the basic situation concerning the Domain entrance once again...

Childe: You said that you're the overseer here... but I didn't see you when I entered. That must mean you were already unconscious by the time Kallen and I arrived, correct?

Shiki Taishou: I believe so.

Xinyan: Well brother, maybe if you'd slowed down a little bit you would have noticed.

Childe: Brother? Haha, that's a very intimate way of addressing someone — I like it! You remind me of my little sister... So, according to the information we have, it's very possible that Shiki Taishou is the guardian of this Domain. I'm sure we'll find out the truth of that soon enough. Shiki Taishou also says that its power has been regenerating ever since it set foot here. It might even be able to absorb more power the further in we go.

Xinyan: Shiki Taishou, can you remember anythin' yet? Or, do you feel different in any way?

Childe: They say that everything about shikigami is derived from magic... perhaps the more powerful our friend here becomes, the more likely it is that they'll recover their memories.

Shiki Taishou: Now that I've been here a little while, I have a vague sense that I should be able to control certain parts of this Domain... Overseers are supposed to have that ability.

Childe: I've taken care of the monsters in this room. They all turned into tattered paper charms when Kallen and I defeated them. *sigh* That was some exhilarating combat, but I'm afraid I can't seem to find a way to progress further. Shiki Taishou, as our resident overseer, do you have any tricks up your sleeve?

Shiki Taishou: Allow me to give it a try... Haa!

The door opened.

Xinyan: What in tarnation? The door opened!

Paimon: Uhh... anyone else getting the creeps here? It looks real eerie. Someone else go in front! Childe, how about you?

Aether: I smell danger.

Childe: It's the scent of monsters... the aroma of battle. The monsters here are strong, fierce fighting awaits us... but I wouldn't have it any other way. You guys should learn to see the fun side of combat.

Xinyan: I don't care how strong they are, they'll be ashes when I'm finished with them!

Paimon: M—Make sure you guys protect us! Especially Paimon...

Aether: What is it, Shiki Taishou?

Shiki Taishou: I hear something... an echo.

Mei: An echo?

Shiki Taishou: This place... Yes, this used to be my dominion! I should be able to do more than just open doors and activate mechanisms here. Fight... I—I should know how to fight! Everyone! I've just remembered some combat techniques. Please, allow me to assist you in battle with shikifuda and onmyoudou.

Everyone summons their weapons and go down a hall to the first room. They activated the Arrayed Emplacement and then monsters appeared. They engaged. When they defeated all the monsters, the doors opened then they went down a hallway.

Sakura: Kallen, why didn't't you come to see me?

Kallen: I wanted to. But I couldn't get out of the domain. So my ,only choice was to team up with Tartaglia to get out of this domain and beat the trials. I'll fill you in after we've helped Shiki Taishou.

Sakura: Ok, Kallen.

They go down a passageway where it lead them to the next room. Then they approach the charm emplacement.

Shiki Taishou: "There are four great spirits, and three spokes in the Mitsudomoe." This Domain is a magnificent work of onmyoudou. Over a thousand types of shikifuda were once placed here, nine of which are recognized as high magic. Onmyoudou can expel evil and repel monsters. When used wisely, it can be of great help to martial artists. The secrets therein, are all hidden within these shikifuda.

So they draw Shikifudafrom the charm enplacement and got the charms then continue on.

They go through the trials set up in the rooms completing them then moving onward.

Childe: Mei, I heard that you look exactly like the Raiden Shogun.

Mei: It's true, Childe. I look exactly like the Raiden Shogun. It's like I'm her twin sister. She accepted me in and has been teaching me a lot of things.

Sakura: And I look exactly like the Shrine Maiden of the Grand Narukami Shrine, Yae Miko. She's accepted me too. I am a Shrine Maiden too but she's been teaching me a lot of things too.

Mei: Sakura and may look like we're from Inazuma but we're not.

Tamamo: Same here. Mikon~

Higokumaru: Miko and Baal treat us like we're family to them.

They enter the hallways between rooms.

Shiki Taishou: But why did people want to do battle in this Domain?

Selune's Elgy: That's a good question. Why?

Shiki Taishou: On the way here, I noticed many damaged shikifuda and all kinds of weapons, as well as the scent of Grilled Fish. Who was it that left all this behind?

Higokumaru: Probably the last people. Who were here. Maybe.

In one room they were up against Thundercraven Rifthounds and Welps. Another room they were up against a Ruin Grader and Ruin Cruisers.

When they got to the second to last room that was wider, they were now up against two Ruin Graders. When Childe soaked them, Mei electrocuted both of them causing the elemental reaction: Electro-Charged. Then Mei and Sakura did the element reaction: Overloaded when they slashed through both of them then they exploded after they sheathed their swords. Childe, Xinyan, and Aether finished them off then they fell to pieces and turned into blue particles.

Finally they reached the last room.

Childe: Not bad, that was some perilous action... I've experienced close calls like that before.

Higokumaru: Yes! The three fire foxes here are great! My Aneki, Sakura-Nee is great!

Tamamo: And not bad yourself, Childe.

Mei: The Raiden Shogun taught me how to use her Musou no Hitotachi and her other moves.

Sakura: Miko even taught me some moves too.

Kallen: I've been able to pick up some new techniques while in here.

Paimon: No surprise to see Childe enjoying himself. Do you really enjoy fighting that much?

Childe: Of course! I relish this kind of endless fighting. Putting your life on the line, giving your all, and leaving nothing on the battlefield...

Mei: (Lots of Anime and video game characters love and enjoy fighting. Goku enjoys fighting more than you do, Childe.)

Paimon: Hmm... I guess bringing Childe along does have its advantages. We're making quick work of these monsters!

Xinyan: Hey! Watch your step! What is that? This paper cut-out looks just like Shiki Taishou!

Shiki Taishou: I know what this is. It's a replica of me — a mass-produced shikigami based on my design. It has my power... and possibly a portion of my memories... I should fuse with it.

Shiki Taishou retrieves the replica...

Then he fuses with it.

Xinyan: How was it? What did you see?

Sakura: Anything?

Shiki Taishou: Harunosuke...

Paimon: Harunosuke?

Foxes: Harunsuke?

Selune's Elgy: Who is that?

Kallen: We're about to find out.

Shiki Taishou: My master, Kamuna Harunosuke. He was the first onmyouji of Inazuma and a master of charm magic. He created me and this Domain, and lived here in seclusion for a very long time.

Childe: Huh, so it was your master that created this place.

Xinyan: But what was his reason behind creatin' you and the Domain?

Shiki Taishou: I'm sorry... I'm not sure of that myself just yet.

Paimon: Perhaps he was passionate about onmyoudou? Maybe when he discovered how strong he was, he decided to create a place like this to hone his abilities, to become even stronger...

Childe: It's possible. Those obsessed with certain disciplines are often capable of incredible feats.

Higokumaru: And he probably loved fighting that he decided to create his own personal playground where he can create and kill monsters everyday for the fun of it.

Childe: Perhaps that was the case with Kamuna Harunosuke. Onmyoudou may have been everything to him, so he created a Domain to train in. But, he couldn't foresee that something would go wrong with the Domain, that he would lose control of the onmyoudou, and that his shikigami would turn into monsters.

Paimon: Wah! Shikigami can turn into monsters!?

Xinyan: Th—That's not possible, right!? That could be bad news for us!

Childe: I'm just shooting in the dark here. If the monsters weren't originating from the shikigami or paper charms, where were they coming from? The Inazuman authorities must have caught wind of this place and sent people here to seal it off, sending Shiki Taishou into a deep sleep in the process...

Shiki Taishou: No. Even though I still can't recall what he looked like, or how it felt to be in his company, there is one thing I'm certain of...

Sakura: What is it?

Shiki Taishou: With his ability, there's no way Kamuna would have made an error like this with his onmyoudou. More importantly, I'm sure he wouldn't have been so irresponsible.

Childe: Oh really? Well then, that leaves us with the worst assumption of all. What if Kamuna Harunosuke is evil, and created this Domain to enhance his onmyoudou? What if he succeeded in creating monsters that could become weapons...?

Kallen: That's a possibility. He probably wanted revenge on someone and wanted to train and make an army of monsters.

Childe: That would make him a problem, and you... you would be his accomplice.

Shiki Taishou: Evil? Accomplice? Using monsters... as weapons?

Xinyan: Easy red, isn't it a little early to be jumping to conclusions? Shiki Taishou passed my test and earned my trust. I don't like the way you're talkin'.

Childe: Hey, I'm merely making inferences based on Shiki Taishou's memories. I'm not trying to cast doubt on him, and it's true that we don't have any decisive evidence. But we do need to understand the situation here.

Kallen: Same here. We need more evidence to see if he's good or evil.

Childe: Besides... is being used as a weapon really that bad?

Kallen: Yes. Yes it is. Being used as a weapon is really that bad. Kiana was gonna be used as a part of someone's plans to revive me and was turned into a slave.

Mei: A lot of people we knew were used as weapons and were not seen as people but weapons to be used to do horrible things they don't want to do. Kiana-chan was going to be used as a weapon but Patrick-kun and Himeko-sensai stopped Otto from doing that.

Tamamo: A lot of evil people see different living things as living weapons they can use.

Aether: (Being used as a weapon...? He must know something. Him being here is no coincidence. He's looking for something too.)

Childe: Alright, the next room should be through that door. Let's see if we can find more of Shiki Taishou's replicas and help him restore his memories. Who knows? We may even find Kamuna Harunosuke himself somewhere further in. I wonder how strong of a fighter he is... I'd like to go a few rounds with him.

Mei: (Goku would probably say the same thing and do the same thing. Challenge Kamuna Harunosuke to a fight.

Shiki Taishou: ...Let's keep moving forward.

So they walk up to the blue portal and pass through it.

But when they got out, they were back outside but without Childe, Kallen, Selune's Elgy, and Shiki Taishou.

Paimon: Huh? How did we get back out here?

Higokumaru: I don't know.

Paimon: Wasn't that door meant to take us to the next room?

Tamamo: It was supposed to do that.

Sakura: But we ended up out here instead.

Xinyan: Uh-oh, where's Shiki Taishou and Red?

Sakura: And where's Kallen and Selune's Elgy?

Xinyan: Are they still in the Domain? Oh no... we can't get back in. It's stoppin' outsiders from enterin'.

Aether: The Domain is stopping us?

Mei: It must be.

Paimon: What's that rumbling... Can you feel it? Maybe some kind of mechanism has activated inside?

Xinyan: ...Ugh, this ain't good. We can't make any hasty decisions... Traveler, Paimon, Mei, Sakura, Higokumaru, Tamamo, let's just wait it out for a minute.

Kujou Sara: Hey!

Kujou Sara appeared out of nowhere.

Paimon: Huh!? Kujou Sara? You're back so soon!

Aether: (Good thing Tartaglia's not here... or things might get out of hand real fast.)

Kujou Sara: Not soon enough, we spent a long time chasing those monsters down. They were cunning, and surprisingly good at evading us. How are things looking here?

Sakura: All good here, Sara.

Mei: All clear thanks to us.

Paimon: Uh, actually...

Xinyan: No other monsters have emerged since we defeated the ones at the entrance. However, strange noises keep comin' from inside the Domain. Something big must be happenin', but we reckon it might be too dangerous to enter. We're waitin' for the noises to stop before goin' in to investigate.

Kujou Sara: Hmm... I can sense a power is resisting us. We've already expended a lot of strength intercepting those monsters, investigating the truth of this Domain would be difficult... We need to be fully prepared.

Watanabe: Ma'am! It's not looking good for the wounded soldiers, but we came across a few scattered monsters on the way back... If I may be so bold... we need you to bring up the rear and escort the wounded back to the city!

Kujou Sara: ...

Aether: Don't worry about us.

Sakura: Go and help those more in need.

Kujou Sara: I suppose it can't be helped. I'll send the wounded back to Inazuma City and dispatch an elite force here. You've already been a great help, please return to the city with us.

Xinyan: That's mighty kind Madam Kujou, but we're not outta strength yet. In fact, we've plenty to go around! We can keep taking care of things here, you do what you gotta do. We'll keep a close eye on the entrance for you.

Mei: I will return back later.

Sakura: And I should be going back to Miko later.

Kujou Sara: I... I'm very grateful.

Xinyan: Hehe, if we're gonna help someone, we're gonna help them all the way through to the end.

Paimon: Yeah! We can get a fire going and eat some Grilled Fish while you're away! Mmmm...

Xinyan: I just got a wave of new inspiration! I'm gonna write a song about this daredevil trip to Inazuma.

Kujou Sara: We at the Tenryou Commission will forever remember your contributions to our cause. I will be sure to reward each and every one of you properly once this is all over. For now, I'll leave this Domain in your hands. Please keep a careful watch. Watanabe will be stationed in the area. Be sure to alert him if anything unexpected happens.

Kujou Sara leaves, while Watanabe heads to his station to continue awaiting orders.

Paimon: Xinyan, did you leave out the part about us entering the Domain on purpose? Hehe... Don't think Paimon didn't notice!

Xinyan: Haha, you got me. Great minds think alike Paimon, you must've been fixin' to do the same. There's still a lot we don't know about the Domain. If we get the authorities involved... we might end up with more problems than we started with.

Mei: And if Childe came out he probably would've gotten arrested. Though I don't know if they would figure out if he's from the Fatui or if he is a harbinger.

Xinyan: Now let me be clear, I ain't biased in favor of Shiki Taishou! It's just, those memories are really important to him. Before we find out the truth about his origin... we shouldn't go makin' assumptions.

Aether: Seemed like Tartaglia was making a few.

Sakura: There's certainly room for misunderstanding.

Xinyan: Yeah, and it's a terrible feelin' to be misunderstood... I would know. Sometimes people are too ready to judge a book by its cover, and don't have the patience to read the pages... Sometimes a glance is all it takes. And once someone's misunderstood, they got a hell of a job tryin' to change people's minds.

Mei: It's even bad once someone gets framed.

Xinyan: Rock 'n' roll is great music, but it's also easily misunderstood... I made a friend of Shiki Taishou as soon as he heard the language I was speakin'. I need to find my own way of helpin' him.

Aether: It's a risky endeavor.

Sakura: Kujou Sara's given us some added time pressure.

Xinyan: That's right, we're gonna have to prove Shiki Taishou's innocence before she returns. I need to ask a favor. Can you guys keep the Tenryou Commission's campaign against the Domain a secret from Shiki Taishou?

Paimon: You're really considerate, Xinyan. You really care about Shiki Taishou's memory loss.

Xinyan: Haha, could I call myself a friend if I didn't?

Aether: (Xinyan can take care of the trust-building exercises... I'll take care of the decision-making.)

Sakura: We'll keep the secret to ourselves.

Xinyan: Huh? There's that noise again! Let me take a look...

Paimon: Wait, Paimon wants to take a look too—

Aether: Paimon, come here a second! The rest of you too!

To be on the safe side, Aether discusses some future moves with Paimon, the foxes, and Mei...

Paimon: So you really think we should tell him?

Paimon: ...Then again, if he turns on us when we lay it all out there, Paimon will have your back! There's no way we're losing to a tiny paper cut-out. Not on Paimon's watch!

Higokumaru: We'll just burn him till there's nothing left.

Xinyan: Traveler, everyone, come quick!

Shiki Taishou: *whimper* ...I failed again!

Xinyan: Shiki Taishou! Are you okay?

Shiki Taishou: I'm fine, I had to use up some of my power just now to counter the resistance from within the Domain. The door just now must have actually been a disguised mechanism. As soon as anyone touches it, all the rooms inside the onmyou chamber are rearranged. It seems that no one can enter during the transition. *sigh* It's all my fault. If only I could exert real control over the Domain, we wouldn't be in this situation...

Paimon: There's no need to go blaming yourself. By the way, where's Childe and Kallen? They're not still inside, are they?

Shiki Taishou: I couldn't say... but that man possesses incredible aura and so does that woman. He's unlike any ordinary person... He enjoys fighting and knows no fear of it. Maybe someone like that really can succeed in conquering this Domain.

Paimon: He's a troublemaker, but he could be in serious danger right now with Kallen. We can't let them perish in there! Childe's the strongest on the team!

Sakura: And Kallen has Selune's Elgy with her and Childe in there. She should be fine for now.

Xinyan: He was hardly breakin' a sweat in there. I think we should have faith in his abilities. As much as I hate sittin' around, if even Shiki Taishou can't get back in, there's not much we can do right now... *sigh* Well, while we're waitin', I'm gonna think about my song. Shiki Taishou, you wanna listen to some new music?

Shiki Taishou: I'd love too, but my mind is restless...

Paimon: But you're a piece of paper, are you really more restless than we are?

Shiki Taishou: Trust me when I say that I'm well aware of the risks you're taking to help me. The experiences, battles, and injuries you've gone through in the Domain are all my responsibility.

Xinyan: Us Liyue folk are all about maintainin' a tranquil mind. Things will only get worse if you let frustration take a hold of you. But there are some things in life that resist the more you try to repress them, that makes for freedom the more you try to tie 'em down. That's the kind of tenacity that gets me fired up!

Paimon: You're talking about things like rock 'n' roll, right?

Xinyan: Right on! It's powerful yet flexible, with a stubbornness that never surrenders to the challenges ahead. That's the existence I strive for.

Shiki Taishou: ...I see. Then let us wait for the opportune moment together, Miss Xinyan.

Xinyan: Haha, now that's more like it! Well Traveler, everyone, if you got other matters to attend to, let's split up for the meantime. We can rendezvous somewhere close by when the Domain is open again!

Sakura: Sure thing Xinyan. We'll go get the rest of our party.

Higokumaru: How are we going to do that?

Sakura: We ask Katheryne to put up a commission for our party to come to Inazuma. Anything can happen. If Childe double crosses us or if we walk into a trap or if we encounter a super powerful monster we may need our whole party here.

The 3 foxes were going up the stairs back to the Grand Narukami Shrine. It was sunset.

Sakura: What a day. We meet Kallen again only she doesn't come out with us.

Higokumaru: It must have something to do with the domain why she, Selune's Elgy, and Childe can't get out.

Tamamo: that must be it.

Sakura: For now we wait a few days and get back to work at the Grand Narukami Shrine.

???: You could use some assistance.

They heard a voice coming from the top.

???: Since you have characters from "Fate". Have some of us too.

Another voice spoke.

The foxes went faster up the steps and saw who the two voices were.

IF the Shrine Maiden and Compa the medical ninja.

Foxes: IF?! COMPA?!

The three foxes instantly rush to the top then stand in front of the last torii gate leading into the shrine.

Sakura: What are you doing here?

Compa: We're just visiting this world.

IF: Patrick and Bronya visited Gamninjustri so we thought that we should return the favor and visit Teyvat.

Sakura: Well that was only so they could get away from Scaramouche.

Tamamo: And I hope you aren't asking to stay here in the Grand Narukami Shrine because she might not allow you stay...

Yae Miko: Is that a fellow shrine maiden?

Sakura's eyes widened when she heard Miko's voice. The foxes turned around to see Miko.

Yae Miko: Let them in.

Sakura: Ok, Miko.

IF: We are asking to stay. Temporarily.

Compa: Just until you've solved the crisis with the domain.

Foxs: Ok.

The three foxes lead IF and Compa inside.

Higokumaru: Is there anyone else here beside you two?

Sakura: And where are they now?

IF: In the domain.

Foxes: ... ... ... EHHHHHHHHH?!

(Tenshukaku)

Mei returns back to Tenshukaku where she materializes the Musou Isshin. Then she cuts open a portal going to the Plane of Euthymia. She goes through then closes the portal. Ei was meditating but sensed Mei's presence and broke out of the meditating state and stands.

Ei: Mei.

Mei: Ei.

Ei: How are things going?

Mei: A domain appeared and my friends and I had to investigate it then we meet this Shikigami named Shiki Taishou.

Ei: Shikigami? Domain?

Mei: We were supposed to prevent the monsters from getting out. Then we got out. In a few days all our members of our party will come back to help us.

EI: I see.

Mei: By the way.

Mei gets covered in a lightning flash then reappears wearing Ei's clothing and her hair flowing down. But what got Ei surprised was Mei holding bags of Dango, Dango Milk, cake rolls, mochi, and Doriyaki in the shape of fish.

Mei: I thought of you on my way back and stopped by to get some sweets for you with the mora I got from the Adventurer's Guild. Besides, I'm feeling hungry myself after a long day of fighting.

(Domain)

Kallen had split up from Childe as the rooms were moving. He seemed to be having fun fighting against the monsters. Kallen could remember when she filled Childe in on when she and her friends killed Signora.

(Flashback)

Childe: So it was true. You, your friends, and the Traveler killed Signora.

Kallen: It is true. Patrick, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Fu Hua, Seele, and Aether defeated La Signora in a Duel Before The Throne. She was tough especially as the Crimson Witch of Flames. Patrick almost killed her but Signora stopped him then we finished her off. Then the Raiden Shogun killed her with her Musou No Hitotachi. Watching her get killed made us feel satisfied. We even have her mask as a trophy showing that we killed her.

Selune's Elgy: Yeah, she got what she deserved for all the horrible things she's done to us.

Kallen: Doesn't that make you feel satisfied too?

Childe: Yes. Certainly. She deserved to get killed. Though I gotta say... Thank you... for killing her. I really hated her. 

Kallen: Especially after she tricked you into going after a fake Archon body with no Gnosis inside.

Childe: Yeah... she did trick me in Liyue.

Kallen: You Harbingers really don't get along with each other do you?

Childe: Not really.

(Flashback end)

Kallen: At least that Childe was satisfied hearing about Signora's death.

Kallen killed the last monster then entered down another hallway. When she got into another room she suddenly saw a flash of light in 4 colors appear in the room further down. Purple, red, blue, and green.

Kallen: More monsters?

Selune's Elgy: Maybe.

Kallen charges in then points her guns at the light sources since they stopped closing really bright but then she turned shocked at her sight before her.

???: Yay! We got our Visions! I got Electro just like Lisa!

It was the CPUs in their Gamninjustri outfits. What was different about them was that they had Visions. Neptune had Electro, Noire had Pyro, Blanc had Cryo, and Vert had Anemo.

Kallen: Of course... you would come here...

Neptune: Of course! After "Neptunia X Senran Kagura Ninja Wars" did great we returned to HyperDimension but thought it would be a good idea to come to this world!

Vert: Great world MiHoYo the studio that made you created.

Selune's Elgy: It is great! They even collaborated with themselves on both of its two games.

Neptune: There was even that one time when Idea Factory and Compile Heart collaborated with MiHoYo in "Guns Girl Z".

Kallen put her guns down.

Kallen: Is there anyone else here besides you?

Neptune: Yep! Iffy, Compa, and our little sisters are here! And so are Asuka, Homura, Yumi, and Miyabi!

Kallen: Have they received Visions too?

Neptune: Yes they have. Nepgear received Electro, Uni got Pyro, Rom, and Ram both got Cryo. IFFY got Pyro and Compa got Dendro. Asuka got Geo but she's also resonating with Hydro and Dendro, Homura got Pyro, Yumi got Cryo but she's also resonating with Anemo, and Miyabi got Pyro.

Kallen: And how do you know?

Neptune: I always break the fourth wall. I always know.

Kallen: Ok... Don't let yourselves get seen by Childe. It would be bad if you said anything about being from another world or break the fourth wall around him.

Neptune: Oh don't worry. He won't understand a single thing about the fourth wall.

Kallen: Fine... Just stay out of sight.

Kallen and Selene's Elgy leave.

Sakura and Higokumaru were just looking up at the Sacred Sakura.

Sakura: It looks like I'm gonna have to summon more servants then re-summon the servants I've summoned before after we've helped Shiki Taishou.

Higokumaru: Who are you going to summon this time?

Sakura: Berserker Minamoto No Raiko and Archer Tomoe Gozen.

Tamamo: Good choices.

Tamamo No Mae comes out into the yard.

Tamamo: Raiko is so busty like Drake that anyone wants to imagine lemons with her...

A large rock hits Tamamo on the head. It was materialized by Sakura.

Sakura: No making the readers dirty minded.

Tamamo: Ok, Sakura.

Tamamo collapses down with swirl eyes and Visions flying around her head in a circle with cuckoo clock sounds.

Higokumaru: Was that really necessary?

Sakura: Yes it was Higokumaru. Yes it was.

IF: In some FanFictions that Patrick read where I appeared I usually silence Nep with a harisan fan.

IF comes out.

Sakura: Well I just silenced my servant with a rock.

Tamamo regained consciousness then instantly stood up.

Tamamo: So how did things go?

IF: Miko has allowed me and Compa to stay as long as we work at the shrine.

Higokumaru: You can still fight right?

IF: Of course I can still fight. Normally I fight with katars but being a shrine maiden in the crossover game, I can use ofuda talismans. While I use fire in the main Neptunia games, I also fight with light and dark magic but those two elements don't exist in Teyvat.

Compa: And I usually fight with a giant syringe and usually use light and dark magic too but since those two don't exist here I have to use nature healing.

Sakura: You could've gotten Hydro or Pyro like your voice actress's other two characters Xingqiu and Bennett but they are both boys and water and fire aren't really compatible with you.

Compa: I know.

Sakura: I'm compatible with Pyro but since Miko has an Electro Vision and my clone Kasumi uses lightning I am also compatible with Electro. There is one more thing.

Sakura gets engulfed in a column of fire but emerged with different clothing. Yae Miko's clothing. Her Vision was on an ear ring on her left fox ear instead of her right fox ear like Miko. And her fox ears looked exactly like Miko's fox ears.

Sakura: Since I'm able to transform like my other universe sister, I'm able to look exactly like her and look more like a twin sister. When introducing ourselves on some days she walks on the right while I walk next to her on the left.

Yae Miko: That is true.

Yae Miko comes outside.

Yae Miko: Things have been easier since Sakura came here. My work is getting done faster and Sakura's help has been more appreciated.

Higokumaru: I help a lot too.

Tamamo: And so do I. The men have been ogling at me and the children really love me.

Sakura: In a few days the others will come back. In the mean time we continue doing our work in the shrine.

(A few days later)

Paimon: It's been a while now, do you think the Mystic Onmyou Chamber has finished rearranging yet? Hmm, let's go meet up with Xinyan!

(Ritou)

The foxes and Mei were waiting at the docks of Ritou for the party to arrive. That is until they saw the shape of a dragon coming their way. Then they saw the people on it jump off the dragon then one of them creates an ice slide for them to ride on which leads them to the docks.

Sakura: Everyone.

Kiana: Mei-senpai!

Kiana glomps Mei down.

Kiana: I really missed you Mei-senpai! Mondstadt has been lonely without you! I really really missed you!

Mei: Kiana-Chan! Calm down! We only met again at Liyue Harbor for Xiangling and Keqing!

Kiana: That felt like a long time ago!

Patrick: Alright! That's enough!

Patrick removed Kiana from Mei.

Kiana: Fine.

Mei stands back up.

Mei: Thank you. I see that you're not wearing a trench coat this time.

Patrick: I thought about it and I thought I should change my appearance. Even Bronya thought about changing her appearance too.

Bronya: Yes.

Bronya was wearing Barbara's innocent Longing only it had a few changes. It covered her top cleavage completely, it didn't have Barbara's unique streak, and the blue parts were replaced with ice blue. Bronya still had the ribbon with the Cryo Vision on it.

Bronya: One more outfit.

Bronya covers herself in ice then when shattering herself out she was wearing something different. She was in a white and blue shrine maiden outfit. It had detached sleeves and the blue skirt only reached her knees. And she held the Star of Eden.

Bronya: The Bronya wanted to wear this incase she meets Blanc again.

Sakura: The others should be here.

There were two ships coming into port. From one ship came Durandal then from the other came Seele and Water's Edge.

Seele: Bronya!

Bronya: Seele.

The two girls hugged while Durandal goes to Rita.

Rita: Durandal-sama.

Durandal: Rita.

The ELFs got together.

Water's Edge: Seele and I got better at using Hydro.

Seele: It's true. Fontaine was great. We mediated underneath a water fall and improved our Hydro attacks.

Durandal: I managed to get my old strength back.

Sakura: Well now that we're all here, we better go find Xinyan. We'll fill you in on the way.

The foxes and Mei filled the party in and finished just before they got to Xinyan where they also met Aether and Paimon.

Xinyan: Traveler, Paimon! St. Freya Knights and Valkyries!

Fu Hua: Xinyan.

Xinyan: Kujou Sara has arrived. She's right over there.

Paimon: What's with all the rushing back and forth? Guess she doesn't trust us after all... She sure does seem on high alert.

Aether: She's just trying to take responsibility.

Sakura: She always takes her role as general serious.

Xinyan: The situation's getting complicated. Let's have a word with her first.

The party goes to where Kujou Sara was and she takes notice of them.

Kujou Sara: Thank you again for your help this entire time.

Higokumaru: Oh it's nothing. We're pros!

Kujou Sara: I've brought reinforcements. It would seem that the most critical moments are behind us, so from here on out, if we can hold this path, we should be able to repel the monsters. If any do escape, we can corner them in the Araumi region.

Sakura: And we've brought reinforcements too.

Mei: We've gathered the whole party.

Kiana: Nice to see you again, Sara.

Kujou Sara: The loud noises we heard earlier were probably the result of large numbers of mechanisms... We're ready and waiting for an opportunity to storm the Domain.

Paimon: Why don't you station troops closer to the Domain?

Kujou Sara: In our last operation, our samurai didn't think to maintain a certain distance. When the monsters suddenly attacked, they had no choice but to beat a hasty retreat.

Tamamo: Ouch.

Kujou Sara: Once is an oversight, twice would be a grave error. I won't allow such things to happen again.

Paimon: Oh, Paimon gets it now...

Aether: (Good, that means we have an opportunity.)

Kujou Sara: I will return to the Kujou Encampment and plan our defenses for the other regions. It took some time, but the Tenryou Commission has assumed full control of this area. With all my heart, I thank all of you for your assistance. Your promised rewards are not forgotten. Miss Xinyan, please take this letter. Enclosed is a travel permit that I processed personally for you. I applied for the longest duration available. I hope you can use this time to really get to know Inazuma. I've also arranged your accommodation. Simply follow the instructions in the letter when you're back in the city.

Xinyan: Oh, wow! Free boardin' and unlimited travels across Inazuma!? I don't know what to say!

Kujou Sara: It's the least I can do.

Xinyan: Thank you Ma'am! I know you're real busy, but if you do get a day off and I'm still here in Inazuma, please come and see one of my street performances!

Kujou Sara: Haha, I must tell you that I never did develop much of a taste for songs and music... But given everything you've done for the Tenryou Commission, I will certainly attend your performance if the opportunity arises.

Kujou Sara leaves...

Paimon: Well, that's Xinyan's biggest worry taken care of!

Xinyan: Not quite, my biggest worry is still Shiki Taishou! What comes next has nothing to do with me. As a friend, I must go back and help. Not to mention Red and Kallen. Traveler, everyone, we gotta go back and save them, right?

Sakura: We better. We don't want anything bad happening to him.

Aether: He'll probably be fine...

Tamamo: ...but we can't just leave him like this.

Xinyan: Then let's go! We'll need to meet up with Shiki Taishou in secret first.

They make it to the entrance to the domain where Shiki Taishou was waiting.

Shiki Taishou: Xinyan, Traveler, Paimon, Sakura, Mei, Higokumaru, Tamamo!

Sakura: Shiki Taishou. We've brought more friends with us to help.

(After introductions)

Shiki Taishou: A general just passed through here, she was leading a team to investigate the area.

Paimon: Her name is Kujou Sara, she's from the Tenryou Commission.

Shiki Taishou: Kujou Sara... Why haven't I heard of her? I think I remember hearing the name of the Supreme Commander of the Tenryou Commission once. It was a man called Kujou... something. What was it again? I can't remember his name, but I do remember that Harunosuke played chess with him.

Sakura: Probably one of Sara's grandfathers or ancestors.

Paimon: Harunosuke sounds like someone important.

Xinyan: Let's save the chit-chat for later, we need to sneak back into the onmyou chamber before anyone sees us.

Paimon: Oh, right! We still gotta find Childe! Let's go!

Shiki Taishou: Alright. Everyone, follow me.

So the party enters into the domain to do the trial.

The party entered into the onmyou chamber.

Kiana: So this is what it looks like.

Patrick: a maze of rooms and hallways.

???: You guys!

In front of the party were Kallen, Selune's Elgy, and Childe.

Paimon: Oh! Here you are!

Childe: So, is this everyone? You guys had me waiting for quite some time.

Mei: This is everyone.

Childe: Let me tell you, you missed out on some incredible action. Quite the pity.

Kallen: He was having fun.

Paimon: Tsk, look at this guy, not a scratch on him.

Childe: Hmm? Were you guys worried about me?

Aether: No.

Childe: Hah, you must have a lot of faith in my abilities.

Mei: A little.

Childe: Just a little, huh? Haha, well, if you were worried about me, I'm flattered. As a comrade and old rival, you should know that unexpected combat situations are my bread and butter.

Patrick: Yeah... Childe... This is our whole party. It's complete now. They are...

Childe: Durandal. Real name Bianca. Rita Roseweiss, Liliya Olenyeva, and Rozaliya Olenyeva.

Durandal: How do you know who we are?

Childe: The Fatui has information on you all. Word always goes out.

Durandal: Ok...

Childe: Anyway, when the Domain was rearranging itself, the rooms were moving up and down. The monsters were scattered all over the place! *sigh* I had so much fun fighting them these last few days.

Kallen: So did I. I let loose with using everything I had. Including going Rouge Extraordinare. I felt myself getting stronger the more monsters that were powerful that I took on.

Childe: We even came across a few replicas. They should contain more power and memories.

Xinyan: Better late than never! Hurry up and fuse with them, Shiki Taishou!

Shiki Taishou takes them then fuses with them.

Shiki Taishou: The residual power in these replicas is limited, I can only regain a fraction of my memories.

Childe: Not enough? Then I guess it's on with the plan. We need to venture deeper into the Domain.

Paimon: Wait... the Domain already rearranged itself. The route we discovered is useless now!

Shiki Taishou: Don't worry too much, there's a pattern to the rearrangement. I should be able to find the way. If I'm not mistaken, we should head in that direction.

Paimon: Wait a second, Paimon has a question! Shiki Taishou, didn't you just say that the power left in the replicas wasn't enough? You still don't have all your memories. So how would you know if you were heading in the right direction? Last time, when we followed you through that door, we were sent out of the Domain... which means not all the doors in this place are real! What if you still can't tell the difference? We might end up somewhere super dangerous.

Shiki Taishou: I can completely understand your reservations. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to give you a compelling answer... Would you believe it if I said that it's an intuition I have as the overseer here?

Paimon: Not... really...

Xinyan: I can see why you're worried Paimon, but our only option is to trust Shiki Taishou as our guide. Otherwise, all we can do is stand here and wait.

Kallen: She's right. We better put our faith in Shiki Taishou.

Xinyan: Besides, we'll be even more lost if the Domain rearranges itself again!

Childe: Hmm, you seem to be more anxious this time around. Let me guess... trouble on the outside?

Mei: Something like that.

Childe: As far as I understand it, Inazuma's situation is still far from stable. A Domain like this would likely fall under the Tenryou Commission's jurisdiction, but they're spread too thinly at present. There's a lot that still falls outside of their control. Which means that you guys are here as support, and it's very likely that the Tenryou Commission made the request. So, you're receiving their orders.

Sakura: Yes.

Childe: In that case, knowing their style, they're probably planning a lethal assault on the Domain to crush everything in their path. If we don't find Shiki Taishou's memories before that happens, then it's possible we never will. Hence the increased anxiety... right?

Aether: As expected, you are here to investigate Inazuma.

Kallen: Exactly that.

Paimon: Is this all part of your scheme!?

Childe: It's true, there are indeed matters that I'm investigating, but it's not what you might think. We can talk about that later, let's make sure we deal with our own problems first.

Kallen: He's already told me why he's here investigating Inazuma but I won't tell until he tells us.

Childe: Now then, Traveler, St. Freya Knights and Valkyries, you and I are hardly strangers, and I see no reason for me to lie to you. After arriving in Inazuma, I discovered monster tracks in the surrounding areas, and so I followed them into the Domain.

Kallen: I followed him into the Domain and now I'm stuck in this situation.

Childe: It would appear that this place is some sort of combat training ground — there's nothing but fighting and slaughter to be had here. Needless to say, it's been an enjoyable experience for me! I feel quite at home.

Kallen: In order to survive we had to keep fighting.

Selune's Elgy: When I got tired I turn back into my weapon form for Kallen to use when she turns into Rouge Extraordinare.

Childe: This may come as an unpleasant surprise to Miss Xinyan and Shiki Taishou, but I'm not someone who cares for allegiance and affiliation. Good and evil, right and wrong, duty and destiny... are these things really so important? Are they really more appealing than the euphoria of battle and close combat?

Durandal: Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I fight for what needs to be done given to me.

Xinyan: You got fightin' in your veins, that's for sure. Well brother, what is it you're tryin' to say...?

Childe: Nothing in particular. But I am telling you that we should venture forward bravely. Don't fear the monsters that lie ahead. If you're not up to the task, I will happily take your place in crushing all that come before us... then the burden of the slaughter will be mine and mine alone. Because fighting... is what I'm best at.

Xinyan: ...

Paimon: D-Don't look at Paimon! We're going, okay? We're going!

Going further into the Domain with their weapons in hand, monsters came out to attack them but they fought back and quelled the monsters and kept going into more rooms and hallways completing the trials that were in their way. Some of them activated traps by mistake but managed to recover from the traps. They even went down different paths by splitting up then meeting back up where both ways end up the same place.

Durandal with her old strength back was plowing through the monsters. The party members who were not here last witnessed Xinyan fighting with Pyro. Liliya and Rozaliya fought side by side and back to back with their cleavers. Kiana being happy to be back with Mei fought by Mei's side not leaving it after being away from her senpai. Fu Hua used her punches and kicks with Pyro and sent monsters flying away.

Patrick burns away Electro and Dendro Slimes with his flames while Himeko kills 10 Thunderhelm Lawachurls with flames covering her cleaver. When Thundercraven Rifthounds appeared, They had a hard time with them but managed to defeat them. When they were bleeding from the Rifthounds, Bronya and Tamamo healed them and got rid of their wounds. Seele extinguished Pyro Slimes with water slashes coming from her Scythe. Tamamo used her fire and ice attacks on enemies with elements. Seele got enemies wet then Bronya froze them then Patrick burned them.

The music stops when they got to the second final room on Level 1, Shiki Taishou spoke.

Shiki Taishou: "The mind of our master is righteous and broad, our enemies flee at the sound of our sword..."

Paimon: Is that a song?

Shiki Taishou: It's a ballad that was once passed down by samurai through the ages. They fought alongside my replicas, and through the power of charm magic, that song is now a part of me... The emotion of that time is with me too. Something's coming back to me... echoes circulating. It's the emotions and voices that they left in my memory. Some of them were scared, some were discontent, others were eager to join the fray — yearning for battle through day and night... The lead samurai addressed Harunosuke as Master Kamuna. He had unyielding respect for him, and always acted on his advice. Strange... What was their purpose in continuing to fight here?

Then they got to the final room on Level 1 where they had to fight against a Cryo Hypostasis. Patrick started off by blasting fire from his right hand and was melting it.

Patrick: Now you're at a disadvantage Childe.

Childe: I don't really care.

Seele: I'm at a disadvantage.

Durandal: So am I.

The Hypostasis shoots icicles at Patrick but he gets out of the way then Himeko destroys them with her sword covered in fire. Then she jumps in and slashes the vulnerable core before it got covered again. Childe shot Hydro arrows at it when it became vulnerable again while Patrick shot Pyro blasts from his guns. When it got to low HP, it shielded itself so it can regenerate. When it shot ice spike balls at us we sent them back and broke its defenses then finished it off.

After it was defeated we went on further and entered into the final room on Level 2.

Paimon: Whew, finally, the last room. It hasn't been easy.

Sakura: At least with the whole party here, things were easier.

Xinyan: Is that... Another replica!

Shiki Taishou: Traveler, quickly!

They went to the replica.

Shiki Taishou: This room is very close to the deepest part of the onmyou chamber. Harunosuke and I... I remember we spent a long time here.

Sakura: What exactly did you two do?

Shiki Taishou: We would watch martial artists from all over Inazuma. They would drink here and celebrate, shouting: "Now we too have the power to defeat the strongest monsters!"

Xinyan: So, you and Kamuna Harunosuke brought samurai here to eradicate monsters?

Shiki Taishou: That is one possibility... among many. Perhaps it was all just a ploy by Harunosuke. Maybe recruiting those samurai and ordering them to eradicate the monsters was all in aid of regaining control of the onmyou chamber.

Paimon: Huh, sounds a lot like something Tartaglia would say...

Childe: Hey—? I can have positive assumptions too you know!

Kiana: You've mostly made negative assumptions.

Shiki Taishou: I'm just trying to make a logical guess. I don't mean to offend anyone. My memory is still incomplete, but there's less and less gaps to fill. Soon it should be fully restored. What's more, I sense that if we continue forward... we might just come face to face with Harunosuke himself.

Paimon: But... this onmyou chamber was built ages ago, wasn't it? Could he have been here all that time!? Whoa...

Higokumaru: Or maybe he passed away ages ago.

Aether: Shiki Taishou. There's something I need to ask you.

Xinyan: Wait — Traveler... You're not about to—

Aether: There are things I need to say myself.

Shiki Taishou: Looking at your expressions... This must be something serious.

Paimon: Uh, we don't need to get too serious though, right? It's eerie enough down here without adding more tension into the mix! Ugh, let Paimon say it.

Sakura: Fine.

Paimon: Alright, here goes. In the very beginning, all we heard was that monsters had escaped from a Domain. We came straight here along with samurai from the Tenryou Commission.

Sakura: And with their general, Kujou Sara.

Paimon: When we met you, you didn't know anything about the Domain or where you came from, and we believed you. We had our reservations, but we trusted Xinyan. She took you at your word, and we decided to work together.

Aether: That's right.

Paimon: As we ventured deeper and deeper into the Domain, it seemed like the truth was just around the corner...

Higokumaru: Or so we thought.

Paimon: But even now, we still can't be sure whether this Domain was created for... evil ends.

Tamamo: Or good ends.

Paimon: You never know what you'll find in a chest until you open it, and now we've arrived at that moment, we need to be ready for whatever it contains!

Aether: If Kamuna has evil intentions... ...if he seeks to endanger Inazuma... ...will you still be on our side?

Xinyan: ... I don't like seein' folks forced into a corner like this... but it's like the Traveler says. We gotta be ready to take responsibility for each other.

Shiki Taishou: I see... So the time has come for me to make a choice. Until now, I had my doubts about why you had decided to help me throughout all this. Even if we've only spent a few days fighting in each other's company, we should have no reason to hide anything. I'm afraid that barring new information, it's impossible for me to make any guarantees. I want to believe in Harunosuke, but after all these years, perhaps he's changed... Maybe my memories were never real to begin with. I am just a shikigami, created by an onmyouji, with nothing more than a few fragmented memories to my name. The four of you are all I have. Our bond is one of trust. My bond with Harunosuke... is one of responsibility. As my creator, I have a duty to follow him... And if he does turn out to be evil, then my destiny will be his to control. If I am able, I wish to retain the kindness in my heart until the very end. But a weapon cannot betray its master's will. If he was able to create me, then he is able to control me. So... if Harunosuke and I go on to cause harm to others... I trust that you will provide a fitting end for the two of us.

Sakura: Gladly.

Paimon: What do you mean "testing"! This was an orchestrated collaboration! Successful teamwork! It's like Xinyan said — she has her way of confirming trustworthiness... and we have ours! Besides, this was a chance to let Shiki Taishou know that even if he's still unsure of the big picture, we're still willing to place our trust in him.

Sakura: Even if he turns evil, he is still our friend.

Childe: Shiki Taishou refrained from claiming an allegiance... which sounds like the actions of a real comrade to me. Warning us of the potential threat was an act of true responsibility.

Aether: I can feel the sincerity.

Xinyan: And you'll be off on another solo combat mission, I assume?

Kallen: We can't really leave this place. You all will get kicked out again but you'll be a elf o get back in later. That is guaranteed.

They walk into the blue portal.

(Chinju Forest)

The St. Freya Knights and Valkyries without Aether, Paimon, Xinyan, Childe, Kallen, and Selune's Elgy went to the Chinju Forest at night. They were kicked out again then they made a plan to return back after a few days again and didn't want to be seen by the Tenryou Commission. Sakura wanted the party to come to the Chinju Forest when it became night.

Sakura: I summoned two more servants. Berserker Minamoto No Raiko and Archer Tomoe Gozen. You can reveal yourselves now.

The two servants appeared from blue mana uncovering themselves from being invisible.

Raiko: Greetings everyone.

Gozen: It is nice to meet you.

Durandal: I actually formed a contract with a servant too.

Everyone gasped and turned their attention to Durandal.

Durandal: I was hesitant at first but thought that a raveling companion wouldn't be too bad. Come out now.

???: Finally after a long time.

From blue mana appeared Lancer Cu Chulainn.

Cu Chulainn: I was wondering when you were gonna introduce me to them.

Durandal: With his help, I was able to get my full strength back.

Cu Chulainn: Yes. That's exactly what I did.

Sakura: You all get some rest in my Serenetea Pot. Tamamo, Higokumaru, and I will go back to the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Sakura pulls out her Serenetea Pot.

Durandal: Ok, Sakura.

Sakura: After the situation with Shiki Taishou is resolved, I'm going to summon back my servants. You should do the same.

Patrick: We will.

With that they all suck themselves into the Serenetea Pot except the foxes then Sakura closed it.

Sakura: Let's head back to Grand Narukami Shrine.

(Grand Narukami Shrine)

The foxes returned to Miko's shrine then Sakura changed into Miko's clothing after engulfing herself in flames to change again.

Yae Miko: Welcome back Sakura. Anything new?

Sakura: Nothing's changed, Miko.

Yae Miko: I see.

Higokumaru: We got our party back together.

Tamamo: Seele seemed stronger than before, Durandal got her old strength back, and Kiana was excited to see Mei again.

Sakura: We'll tell IF and Compa what happened.

The foxes walked inside.

(A few days later)

The party met with Xinyan again.

Xinyan: Traveler, St. Freya Knights and Valkyries. I found out some good news from the garrisoned forces!

Seele: Let's hear it!

Xinyan: Kujou Sara has been tied down with work in the city. Nothin' seems to be goin' on with her troops for now.

Tamamo: That's great.

Xinyan: Besides that, we haven't had any new monsters escape the Domain for quite some time, and the troops have complete control of the pass. I don't think they're in a hurry to attack the Domain right now. Seems we got more time than we bargained for!
Paimon: Then let's get going! Those four must be getting impatient!

So they enter into the trial.

(Domain)

Shiki Taishou: Oh! You're back!

Childe: Okay, now that we're all here, whaddya say we get to the bottom of this?

Xinyan: You four look like you've been through a war!

Childe: Just one war? Haha, I've lost count of how many battles we've had down here.

Kallen: I've been through several wars during my time.

Childe: I did okay, right, Shiki Taishou?

Shiki Taishou: Mr. Tartaglia is no stranger to Domains. He was able to deal with even the most powerful monsters with ease.

Kallen: What about me?

Shiki Taishou: You did mostly well yourself, Ms. Kaslana. I am confident that we can make it to the innermost depths of the Domain.

Paimon: Huh, you three seem to have gotten much closer over the last few days.

Childe: Well, we've fought shoulder to shoulder for quite a while now.

Kallen: We've been able to put our differences aside.

Childe: Alright, listen up. During the rearrangement, Shiki Taishou said he could sense the most important replica over there.

Shiki Taishou: Compared with the other replicas, it should contain a far greater power within. If I can fuse with it successfully, I should be able to remember the truth of this Domain.

Paimon: It's right there? Then how come you guys haven't gone over yet?

Xinyan: Shiki Taishou... were you waitin' for us this whole time?

Shiki Taishou: Without your companionship, I never would have made it this far. My memories were only retrieved thanks to everyone's efforts. I feel it's only right that you're here with me to witness this final and most important juncture.

They retrieved the replica then Shiki Taishou fused with it.

Shiki Taishou: My memories, fragmented for so long... are finally complete. I remember it all now... The origin of the Mystic Onmyou Chamber... Its essence. This realm is not for practicing onmyoudou, nor is it for harnessing evil. The reason Harunosuke created me and the Domain... Our sole purpose... was to protect.

Kiana: Oh phew what a relief.

Paimon: Protect?

Shiki Taishou: Our nation was once attacked by a great evil, and a person of importance to Harunosuke was taken from him... He was filled with hatred and regret, and began yearning for the strength to take on the evil himself. He made his way across the ocean to seek the adepti of Liyue, and went on to study the adepti arts. He combined those subtle techniques with the art of transcension that he himself had practiced over the years, and founded the earliest version of onmyoudou. Later, he rallied all samurai with the will to serve in protecting the nation, and created me and this onmyou chamber... With me as a template, he would create many replicas, assigning each to a samurai. The samurai and shikigami were partners, combining their martial prowess and charm magic to take on monsters with great efficiency. They worked in pairs, and set out to rid the land of monsters. Information on the defeated monsters would be recorded within the shikigami. Upon returning to the Domain, that information would be channeled into the creation of mirror monsters — training targets for the samurai. As the first shikigami, I was constantly absorbing the knowledge and experiences of the replicas. I was able to improve the structure of the Domain, and provide better training for the samurai. Over time, these dedicated samurai were able to achieve an enviable martial prowess. A new batch of recruits would arrive as the last group left the Domain. The cycle of new knowledge and new opponents seemed to be never ending...

Aether: A Domain for training?

Childe: No wonder the fighting never stops here... This was a training ground to begin with.

Kallen: He wanted to get samurai stronger like this without halving to stop fighting monsters.

Paimon: In another words, Kamuna Harunosuke built this onmyou chamber to train samurai to fight monsters?

Kallen: It looks like it. Yes.

Paimon: Doesn't that make him a pretty great guy?

Kallen: Could be.

Selune's Elgy: Genius of him. Having samurai train against real monsters so they can become strong.

Xinyan: If that's the case, why is he hiding away in the depths of the Domain?

Shiki Taishou: No... Harunosuke is no longer here. For reasons unknown, Harunosuke disbanded the samurai and abandoned the Domain. This part of my memory is still fragmented... I can't remember what Harunosuke said to me before he left.

Xinyan: Left? Meanin'... he's still alive?

Shiki Taishou: It's possible... and I hope he is. I am a weapon created by Harunosuke. The purpose of the onmyou chamber, my purpose, is to facilitate combat, to train myself and others. But this Domain was abandoned. The only people to have come here since are yourselves. What use does a weapon discarded by its owner have to offer...

Paimon: This is really tough for Shiki Taishou...

Childe: A discarded weapon... Hah.

Kallen: No longer of any use to Harunosuke.

Childe: Discarded or not, what's so bad about being a weapon? All those who stalk the battlefield yearn for meaning and value.

Shiki Taishou: Do you think so...?

Childe: You were interested in my secret, right? Why is it that I'm able to withstand the resistance of the Domain? Why is it that I'm able to face down complex battles with ease? I have fought in the fissures that lie between great tree roots. Boundless danger, fatal encounters... These are the ingredients I use to become stronger still. It is not victory that I seek, but improvement. I want to become sharp as a blade, to the point where others fear me. You're not the only weapon here, Shiki Taishou.

Shiki Taishou: If that's true... then these battles you strive for... Where do they end?

Childe: Only those that wish for an end will find one. For me, it's nothing more than a mirage. I was born to fight, and as long as I draw breath, there will be no end to my purpose. My limits vanish behind the horizon with every step that I take. Let go of your confusion. Sorrow and hesitation are the enemy of an implacable weapon.

Shiki Taishou: What must I do... to let go...?

Xinyan: Don't worry, you don't have to abandon somethin' to succeed in lettin' go. You don't have to abandon' anythin', Shiki Taishou. You've only just regained your memories — this is the perfect opportunity to pick up where you left off. All you gotta do is find the thing that was most important and righteous to you.

Shiki Taishou: Most important... and righteous?

Xinyan: Yup! For me, it's rock 'n' roll. It's not everyone's cup of tea. In fact, I'd say it's kinda unpopular, really. But if it makes me happy, that's all that matters! What do I care if someone doesn't share my passion? All I need to worry about is doin' what I enjoy! So if people wanna roll their eyes or give me the cold shoulder, they can have at it! My music was never meant for those that couldn't understand it.

Shiki Taishou: ...I still remember your test... The song you played for me.

Xinyan: You said that you were walkin' alone, that you spent time in the company of others eatin' Grilled Fish by a fire. Your answer was filled with an understandin' of human emotion. We've all journeyed down a path of solitude at some point in our lives. Your presence there puts you in good company. You found us and joined us by the fire, and we became friends. The road ahead is difficult, but we're never alone. Shiki Taishou, this is the language in my music, and my reward for stickin' to the path right for me. What about you? I know there'll be something callin' out to you.

Shiki Taishou: Miss Xinyan... I may not be able to harness the optimism you carry with you just yet. But I do know that my journey doesn't end here. Everyone, we continue on! I want to— No... I must retrieve the last replica, and regain control of this Domain!

Higokumaru: Yeah! Let's go!

Everyone shouted out cries.

Shiki Taishou: Yes... There has to be something left that only I am capable of doing.

Paimon: That's more like it! Get ready everyone, there's more fighting ahead! As long as we move forward together, there's nothing to worry about!

They summoned their weapons and charged forward.

They went deeper into The Vengeful Wood. The second room had Pyro monsters so Seele, Water's Edge, and Childe took them on.

Seele: This is the fruit of my training in Fontaine!

Seele materializes lots of water on her scythe.

Seele: HAAAAA!!!!!!

Seele: Slashed the Pyro Abyss Mages' shields destroying them.

Childe: My turn!

Childe killed the Abyss Mages with his water swords. Pyro Slimes appeared but Seele and Water's Edge extinguished their flames.

Seele: Bronya!

Bronya: Right!

Bronya made Project Bunny appear then it shot Cryo blasts from the cannon that froze the slimes. Then Seele finished them off. Mei and Sakura jumped in and did the overload reaction when they slashed through a Blazing Axe Mitachurl killing it. The doors opened then they went onward. The next room they healed up then the next one they got new charms then the next one there were Hydro enemies in which the Cryo and Eelctro users and Durandal were up. The Cryo users froze the enemies then the Electro users and Durandal finished them off.

They went onto the next room where they fought against Hilichurls. Kallen used her guns with Kiana and shot at them. The party killed them all then moved on. The next room had Hydro and Electro enemies so the Cryo users did their thing and defeated them all. The final room had an Abyss Herald and Abyss Mages.

Durandal: So Harunosuke has seen Abyss Heralds too.

Kallen: He must have. Childe and I have fought against Abyss Heralds that were created in the domain. I took them as an opportunity to fight against them to see if I could come up with something the next we meet more Abyss Heralds.

While everyone was fighting against the Abyss Mages, Tamamo No Mae was fighting against the Abyss Herald.

Tamamo: Mikon~ feel my wrath~

Tamamo sent ice and fire orbs at the Abyss Herald and landed direct hits. It tried to slash her but Tamamo dodged.

Kiana: Mei-senpai!

Mei: Yes Kiana-chan!

Kiana and Mei: Super Conduct!

Kiana and Mei slashed through the Abyss Herald and caused the elemental reaction; Super Conduct.

Kiana: Now freeze! Bronya!

Bronya: Right!

Bronya casted a spell then froze the Abyss Herald and dealt damage.

Fu Hua: My turn!

Fu Hua materialized fire on her right hand and formed the fire into the shape of a falcon.

Fu Hua: Falcon Punch!

She punched the Abyss Herald then Patrick finished it off with a powerful fire slash from his sword. The others defeated all the Abyss Mages. They go through the blue portal then move into the next layout of rooms. The monsters could not stop them as they pushed forward.

When they got to the final room they were up against an Abyss Lector, Abyss Mages, and Hilichurls.

Patrick: So that's an Abyss Lector.

Kiana: Like the ones from the Spiral Abyss.

Mei: Just like the Abyss Heralds.

Higokumaru: The final boss! Let's do this!

Everyone: Yeah!

Patrick smashed boulders against the Abyss Lector then Durandal stabbed it then threw it against one of the walls. It shot it's Electro attacks at them but Bronya blocked them with Project Bunny's energy shield. Then it shot a Cryo laser at the Abyss Lector.

Seele: Ha!

Seele slashed through it.

Kallen: Barrage Macabre!

The gun battlesuit materialized on Kallen then she rained fire of bullets and missiles on the Abyss Lector till it wore off.

Sakura: Crimson Naraka!

Sakura slashes back and fourth on the Abyss Herald then when she sheathed her sword, sparks came off the Abyss Lector.

Mei: I will finish it off. Musou No Hitotachi!

Mei slashes through the Abyss Lector then it gets engulfed in a column of lightning then it's turned into blue particles. The music stopped.

Mei: I can use it just like Ei can.

Kiana: Wow, Mei-senpai. You really can use the Musou No Hitotachi.

Mei: I can. Thanks to Ei's teachings.

Childe: Ha!

Childe finished off the last Abyss Mage.

Childe: If we're done here we'll continue to keep going.

They walked up the steps down a hall where it lead to the final chamber.

Following Shiki Taishou, everyone has a glance around the room; Tartaglia waits behind in the corridor.

Kallen: Never seen this room before. This must be it.

Selune's Elgy: There it is! The final replica! Do it Shiki Taishou!

Shiki Taishou absorbs the final replica, and reminisces in a flashback

Unnamed samurai: Master Kamuna. Over half our trained samurai are wounded. And our shikigami losses are far greater than anticipated. Besides. The outside situation is beginning to stabilize. Do we really need to keep pursuing this "ultimate attainment"?

Kamuna Harunosuke: Why so apprehensive?

Kamuna Harunosuke: This is all within my expectation.

Shiki Taishou: Harunosuke. Forgive my directness. But she's not coming back.

Kamuna Harunosuke: All I ever wanted... was to assist her descendants and guard this territory. Now that our targets no longer exist. And those needing our protection are finally safe. Then perhaps our sworn mission has indeed come to an end.
I always believed. That I would stand guard in this place forever. If time permitted. I almost fooled myself with such a notion. I hope you never make the same mistake.

Shiki Taishou: Don't worry Harunosuke. I know everything that you've done for Inazuma. Your efforts need not be judged by others. The same goes for my existence.

Kamuna Harunosuke: Bestowing you with intelligence. That you should know human emotion. It would seem this was the right decision. In the end. It is you that have enlightened me.

Harunosuke releases his pipe into the air, where it is encircled by a flurry of replicas. As the replicas gather around, the pipe is imbued with energy, before transitioning out with a flash. Harunosuke begins to glow with a golden aura.

Kamuna Harunosuke: "Rosy cheeked in the morning". "Bleached bones by dusk". How so very true. I have nothing left to keep me. Shiki Taishou, my friend. You have completed your assignment magnificently. As for me... I need wait no longer. I will set out again. In search of a new purpose.

Harunosuke glows brightly and flashes then the flashback ended.

Shiki Taishou: Then this is farewell, Harunosuke. Be safe in your travels.

(The Traveler, Paimon, St. Freya Knights and Valkyries, Tamamo, and Xinyan glance at each other, saddened.

Shiki Taishou: I remember everything. Harunosuke didn't abandon me. It was I that persuaded him. And helped him escape the labyrinth of his heart.

Mei: Did you really? Well... so that's what happened.

Shiki Taishou: Harunosuke didn't abandon me... I enlightened him. I helped him to release a burden shouldered for too long. Harunosuke had great aspirations for me and the Mystic Onmyou Chamber. But the truth is... Perhaps we were an ill-timed creation. The samurai trained tirelessly, and with promising results. And yet, the strength of mortals is bound by unforgiving limits. Our progress was... too slow. Even as we trained, the god with the power of the Musou no Hitotachi swept across the land with a force of diligent and mighty warriors. They removed all hidden evils from our territory. And just like that, a life's work was rendered unnecessary... No one in this world is prepared when such sorrow befalls them.

Aether: The power of the gods can be cruel.

Paimon: Paimon can't begin to imagine how that feels, but we've definitely heard about similar cases...

Shiki Taishou: I was lost, dejected, and doubted everything in sight. Still... the fruits of our labor and valiant efforts cannot be denied, even if they were overshadowed. Regardless, the aim that Harunosuke and the samurai sought had been achieved. The samurai no longer needed to devote their life to training... It should have been something to celebrate... but Harunosuke was a sentimental man. His affections were rooted in mortal desire, and he couldn't bear to let go of what he had lost. To protect was our shared ambition. And if the world was the object of Harunosuke's protection... then he was the object of mine. As his most prized creation and only friend in the Mystic Onmyou Chamber, I tried to persuade him. He told me that he wanted to set out again in search of a new purpose... that it may take him months, years, or even centuries. It didn't matter to me. All I wanted was for him to achieve that aspiration, and to return to this place anew. And in the endless days of waiting... I fell into a deep slumber... Harunosuke... You're not coming back, are you?

Xinyan: Don't be upset, Shiki Taishou...

Paimon: If Kamuna Harunosuke learned the power of the adepti arts and transcension, isn't it possible that he became immortal?

Fu Hua: Lr that he entered into some type of spirit realm?

Fu Hua: (Feels like what happens to Master Oogua in "King Fu Panda" when he ascended).

Shiki Taishou: ...What I've come to realize is that regardless of whether he remains in this world... he shouldn't be the sole purpose of my existence. Meeting all of you helped me understand belief. I believe that Harunosuke is walking his own path now... and I believe that I too can find a path of my own. From birth, we begin to walk in solitude toward an inevitable end. But there are embers in the mist that welcome us, and friendships to be made under the night sky... Our assignment does not end because the journey is long. There was value in everything Harunosuke did... and my purpose is my assignment. That's something that will never change, nor will it be taken away from me. I am Shiki Taishou, the first shikigami, ally of martial artists, and forevermore the overseer of the Mystic Onmyou Chamber. My duty is to assist fighters in reaching ultimate attainment. There will be others in this world attempting to scale the highest peak. I will gladly become a bridge between the mountains — a weapon that carries them through the clouds.

Xinyan: Now that's what I'm talkin' about, haha!

Aether: You've found your answer.

Theresa: If only we had some music over the top of that...

Paimon: Wow, full-memory Shiki Taishou is a force to be reckoned with!

Shiki Taishou: I've regained full control of the Mystic Onmyou Chamber. No mirror monsters will be able to escape this Domain from now on. The crisis has been averted.
Shiki Taishou: In a few days' time, I'll be able to secure the charm magic network and restore the Mystic Onmyou Chamber to its original state. This place is an ever-changing yet reliable training ground. I will continue to stand guard here, and provide training for anyone seeking ultimate attainment. The Tenryou Commission must already have made preparations to enter the Domain by now. Please, leave the negotiations to me. When they arrive, I will explain the matter in its entirety.

Paimon: So, we don't have to deal with the nitty-gritty? Great! Paimon hates negotiations...

Shiki Taishou: My thanks to all of you. Without you, I never would have been able to regain my true self... I've prepared a gift for you. It may not be enough to repay your kindness, but I hope it will come in handy.

Shiki Taishou: Miss Xinyan... Wouldn't that take up too much of your time?

Xinyan: Well, let me ask you a question. What do you think of rock 'n' roll?

Shiki Taishou: Rock 'n' roll... To me, it's wonderful music.

Xinyan: Then that's good enough for me. I only ever perform for people that can appreciate it anyway. Speakin' of which, prepare your ears y'all, it's about to get louder.
Paimon: Huh? You're gonna perform right now!?

Theresa: Let's see it!

Sakura: Ok. Not all of us watched you perform.

Xinyan plays a tune with her guitar in which everyone watches. Then she stops.

Kallen: While I was in the domain, I met some people in there.

Kallen: Selune's Elgy and I met the CPUs and CPU Candidates in their Compa Style. Then we met Asuka, Homura, Yumi, and Miyabi in their Honeypa Style.

From the torii gates came IF and Compa.

IF: The Grand Narukami Shrine was great.

Compa: Lady Yae Miko was very nice.

Kallen: Looks like everyone is here.

The 8 ninjas changed back.

Neptune: Now don't look so down. Large groups of characters in other Anime and Video Games barely get any dialogue too.

Sakura: As much as we'd like to do some things with you, we have to discuss everything we know in the lore and events in the Serenetea Pot.

Kallen: And I have a lot to fill in.

Higokumaru: Only they have to wait till next chapter because of how long this event quest was and how much extra dialogue and scenes we had.

Tamamo: That is true. We also have to say goodbye to Xinyan too.
