(Patrick's Point of View)

We walk out of the building feeling satisfied that Signora was finally dead. But Aether was having some kind of headache. The sky was fully covered in dark clouds and lightning was coming down.

Paimon: The Raiden Shogun isn't gonna let us off just like that, right?

Mei: I don't know. But the rules were the rules. She just let us go freely and alive.

Paimon: The air feels suffocating... it must be the Raiden Shogun's almightiness...

Sakura: The sky is dark from the dark clouds and lightning. What an intense battle you had.

Tamamo: We saw the whole thing.

Jingwai's Wings: Glad you could join us Water's Edge.

Water's Edge: Yeah. I'm glad too.

Kiana: Barbatos and Morax have been avenged.

Signora... is slain.

Paimon: One strike from the Shogun, and now Signora's gone...

Mei: She's dead.

Paimon: She got what she deserved, but Paimon still can't help but feel upset.

Bronya: Why is that?

Paimon: Why are they doing it... why are the Harbingers collecting all the Gnoses?

Seele: We don't know. We still don't know.

Kiana: We need to know why the Tsaritsa is stealing all the Archons' Gnoses.

Aether staves off a headache.

Paimon: Hmm? Traveler, you got a headache?

Aether manages to shake off the headache.

Aether: I'm okey.

Paimon: Chin up... let's get out of this place, Paimon feels... unsettled.

The Musou no Hitotachi...

Paimon: Also... when the Shogun executed Signora with the Musou no Hitotachi... it was unbelievably powerful...

Fu Hua: So powerful.

Paimon: It seems impossible to defend against... and if so, we've got no hope whatsoever of defeating her in combat...

Mei: I was the only one able to block it.

Theresa: Would our Divine Keys stand a chance against the Musou no Hitotachi?

Himeko: Hard to say.

Sakura: Seeing her use that sword was just so scary.

Higokumaru: So scary. Aneki. Sakura-Nee.

Yae Miko's plan...

Paimon: So to recap, Yae Miko wants us to go back inside the Plane of Euthymia by the Statue of the Omnipresent God...

Sakura: Yes.

Kallen: Thats exactly what she wants us to do.

Paimon: But... we'll be like lambs to the slaughter, won't we? M—Maybe we could put this plan on hold for a while...

Rozaliya: Yeah you're right. We better come up with another plan of how to beat her.

Liliya: And to recover.

Rita: If only we had a shield strong enough to defend us.

Durandal: And if I had my strength back.

Captain: I'd probably get killed first.

Paimon: There's the sound of Electro zapping in the air... Paimon can barely breathe...

Aether staves off another headache.

Paimon: Traveler, are you okay? You're so silent...

Aether: I'm alright.

It's so... noisy outside

Paimon: It sounds like there's a lot of noise coming from outside Tenshukaku... has a fight broken out or something?

Sakura: Then we better go find out.

Tamamo: The Resistance could be here for all we know.

Paimon: The guards seem really nervous... let's go see what the situation is, shall we?

We stumble out of Tenshukaku gloomily. By chance, the resistance forces have broken through the leaderless Shogunate troops, arriving beneath Tenshukaku. Gorou and Kazuha, also arrive outside of Tenshukaku.

Kiana: We're ok. We've killed the Fatui Harbinger La Signora. Then the Shogun just let us go for no reason. Well actually The Shogun killed La Signora but she gave the Fatui Harbinger for what she deserved for everything she did to us.

Mei: After she was killed, the Shogun just let us go since we were the victors. Everyone is going to be okey now.

But just as we were about to go down the steps, a portal opens behind us and the Raiden Shogun appears behind us, unleashing her legendary Musou no Hitotachi. Mei summoned her Herrscher sword to block the attack again. Just as it seems that divine punishment will be meted out, the Masterless Vision Kazuha carries crackles to life and gains the Electro color and symbol. Then a voice spoke to him.

???: "There will always be those who dare to brave the lightning's glow"

Just as Mei was about to block to block the legendary Musou no Hitotachi, Kazuha bursts forward and counters the Musou no Hitotachi while the Masterless Vision is glowing. And so was his Anemo Vision.

Mei: Kazuha! The Masterless Vision! It's glowing! You're using Electro!

Then he manages to push the Raiden Shogun back. The Raiden Shogun slashes at Kazuha, who parries but is thrown back. The Masterless Vision lands on the ground still crackling, and its color fades away.

Sakura: The Masterless Vision was able to glow again. Just for a few seconds.

Mei: We have a battle to finish.

Sanogonomiya Resistance Member: Charge!

Gorou: Attack!

The Resistance charge up the stairs with battle cries.

Kallen: Look!

The Visions in the Statue of the Omnipresent God light up.

Seele: The Visions! They're glowing! They hear their former masters' courage!

Paimon: What do we do? They're no match for her!

Mei: Stop them. I'll go face her myself.

Mei charged up the stairs but Aether follows.

Seele: Everyone stop! You're no match for her! Just leave this to us!

Mei: SHOGUN!!!!!!!!!

Mei jumps up then her sword gets covered in Electro energy as she and Aether paired to do a double large Electro-powered slash. As expected, the Plane of Euthymia opens before us once more.

Patrick: Let's go!

The same group that entered into the plain race up and enter just in time before it closed up. We were back inside. We saw the Raden Shogun meditating while floating. Ei comes down from the meditating position.

Ei: So, we meet again.

Mei and Ei walk up to each other.

Mei: Raiden Ei.

Ei: Raiden Mei. Indulge my curiosity. What is the reason that I find you standing here before me once again?

Mei: A lot of reasons why.

Ei: Do you hope your foolhardiness will shelter those people? Or... was it simply a means of seeking an audience with me?

Mei: The Fatui have deceived the Raiden Shogun. They created their diplomatic immunity so they can steal something from you and the other Archons.

Ei: Oh? Surely you didn't rouse me from my state of eternal meditation only to tell me this?

Mei: There is more we have to tell you.

Ei: If so, then you underestimate me. I am quite well-informed about the Vision Hunt Decree.

Aether: You know everything that's going on outside?

Ei: Not so. Only everything that pertains to eternity. The Vision Hunt Decree has my tacit approval.

Mei: Why?

Ei: The Fatui's actions thus far do not constitute a threat to eternity, otherwise... they would have been purged long ago.

Mei: But the Vision Hunt Decree is damaging.

Aether: It comes at a great cost to the people of Inazuma.

Ei: Individual ambition is inherently incompatible with eternity. What you might not realize is that all too often... people have far more to lose by chasing their dreams. Consider this — no one will lose their life on account of having their Vision taken away... Rather, those who have lost their lives are the ones who insisted on pursuing their own aspirations, are they not?

Aether: Teppei...

Ei: Travelers, your existence is unique in my eyes. There seems to be limitless uncertainty in you. To put it another way, you are the furthest thing from eternity. And you Mei. Your existence is more unique than the others. You look exactly like me. You have my face, my voice, my hair, and my body. You also poses the same power as me. So I won't insist that you comprehend the meaning of my actions. What matters is that I tread the path of eternity on my people's behalf.

Aether: This is your Plane of Euthymia... It is created by your consciousness, yes?

Ei: That's right. I'm surprised you understand it so well...

Ei closes her eyes. Then her hairpin disappears then her braided hair is undone and it flows behind her. Mei gasps. Then Ei opens her eyes.

Ei: Tell me. Do we look the same now?

Mei: We do look the same. Exactly the same.

Kiana: TWO MEIS!

Patrick: They do look exactly the same.

Silence lasted as the two Shoguns stared into one another's eyes. Then Mei broke the silence.

Mei: It feels like we're twins.

Ei: I used to have a twin sister. Her name was Makoto but she passed away.

Mei: I've been an only child. I've had no brothers or sisters. Then both of my parents were taken away from me. First my mother passed away then my father was framed and taken away from me. I've been through a lot of things the same way you did. But I managed to find friends and a new family.

Ei: I used to have friends and family but not anymore. I lost my friends and my sister. Only Yae Miko remains.

Then her hair was braided again and her hairpin came back.

Ei: Anyway. You're looking for a chance to shake my will... aren't you?

Mei: That's exactly what Yae Miko told us to do. Yes.

Aether: No. We're not here to debate your ideas. We're here to demolish them.

Ei: ... So be it. Well then, you who would defy eternity... Time for you to enlighten me.

Mei: I'm going first. I have to finish where we started.

Mei held her hand out then summoned her own Engulfing Lightning.

Aether: Mei.

Mei: Don't worry Aether. I'll give you your turn. But for now let me fight against her.

Aether: ... Ok.

Ei summoned her Engulfing Lightning then her halo appeared behind her just as Mei's did. Then they walked around in a circle facing each other.

Ei: Do you wish to become the enemy of Eternity, Travelers?

Mei: We didn't want to become your enemies but since we want to put an end to the Vision Hunt Decree, I guess so.

Ei: Your arrival has brought a deafening static.

Mei: And you've been causing Inazuma nothing but pain.

Ei: Excessive yearning leads to inevitable destruction.

Then they stopped.

Then they charge in.

Mei and Ei: HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

When their Polearms met, the clash caused a shockwave that pushed Aether and the others back. Both Shoguns delivered Electro slashes as their weapons clanged to one another.

Seele: Ok... should we go in there?

Bronya: No... this is Mei's fight.

Ei: Strike dead.

Ei does an Electro attack all around but Mei dodges.

Mei: No you strike dead.

She sends an Electro energy slash at Ei but she cuts it in half and it explodes behind her. Then Ei sends her own Electro energy slashes at Mei in which she intercepts with her Electro energy slashes.

Kiana: Look at them. It feels like Mei fighting against herself and a clone and a fake copy of herself.

Patrick: Only it's her from another dimension.

Fu Hua: Mei has to survive.

The two Raidens weapons clanged when they met again then again and again. Then they were locked.

Mei: Did you and Makoto spar like this?

Ei: Yes. Yes we did. This feels like old times when we spared together and when we fought together.

They broke out of their lock then their weapons met again a few more times. Then they sent lighting bolts at one another.

Kiana: I think Mei-senpai can do this.

Ei: Instabilities will be removed.

Ei activates her Vision Hunt Decree and then there was the Electro symbol and electro chains on the group's Visions.

Kiana: Or not...

Mei: Aether now!

Mei swaps out then Aether steps in and strikes with his sword and Electro attacks.

The Traveler runs in to attack Raiden, but this time the Traveler does not fall. the Electro symbol and electro chains disappear from the group's Visions. He notices the Grand Narukami Shrine Omamori they received from Yae Miko is sparkling.

Yae Miko: Dear me.

Suddenly, Yae Miko appears.

Yae Miko: Aren't you cutting it rather close?

Ei: Miko.

Sakura: How did you get here?

Yae Miko: I'll explain later.

Ei: This was your doing...?

Sakura: Yes. This was her doing.

Yae Miko: Now, now. Don't forget who taught you How to place your consciousness in objects.

Miko speaks closer to Aether.

Yae Miko: Surely you don't think Your ambitions alone Is enough to shake Ei's will? Do you?

Mei: Well...

Yae Miko: Though you alone are here. They too have ambitions Which they long since entrusted to you. Now then. Close your eyes.

Aether closes his eyes then he sees the same vision her was when he touched the statue and he hears voices too.

Yae Miko: The rest of you too.

They did the same thing and saw and heard the same things Aether was seeing and hearing. The people's ambitions begin to shine through into the Plane of Euthymia and illuminates the realm.

Teppei, in a flash, appears briefly in the position of Aether. The Traveler and the others are imbued with a golden aura as they take on the ambitions of the people. All except Tamamo No Mae, Higokumaru, and the ELFs as they decided to step off the battlefield. Then they heard Teppei's voice.

Teppei: Abolish the Vision Hunt Decree.

Sakura: Yes Teppei. We will.

The Party stands by each other forming a line. Then they do a roll call.

Patrick: Apprentice of the Guardian Dragon Toriyama. Herrscher of Dragon. Patrick Ewin.

Kiana: Daughter of Siegfried Kaslana and Cecelia Schariac. Herrscher of the Void and Flamescion. Kiana Kaslana.

Mei: Queen of Thunder. Herrscher of Thunder. Raiden Mei.

Bronya: Cyberangel. Herrscher of Reason. Bronya Zaychik.

Seele: Freed from the Sea of Quanta. Herrscher of Death. Seele Volleri.

Fu Hua: Immortal Phoenix. Herrscher of Sentience. Fu Hua.

Sakura: Shrine Maiden of Yae Shrine. Herrscher of Corruption. Yae Sakura.

Party: St Freya... Knights and Valkyries!

Then they did battle stances with their weapons then there were explosions behind them.

Sakura: Now... Light our darkest hour.

The golden aura illuminates even brighter as the light spreads. It even went out of the Plane of Euthymia and went up into the sky. Then it clears the sky.

The Electro Archon smiles then her eyes glowed and the fight resumes. Then she makes her spear disappear then energy comes out of her chest then she pulls out her Musou No Hitotachi.

Kiana and Mei: HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Kiana and Mei charge in with their swords. Then they swing their swords from different sides but Ei was able to deflect both of them then pushes them back with a shockwave. Bronya materializes Keys of Reason above Ei then fires them from above but Ei moves and dodges the blasts. Then she tries to slash Bronya but is blocked by a blue energy drill Bronya materializes. Then Bronya brings out her Star of Eden then blasts Ei away with a gravity blast. Then Seele slashes Ei with her Scythe covered in Hydro. Fu Hua follows up with a Pyro punch from her Grips of Taixuan. Then Sakura followed up with a Pyro slash from Jizo Mitama. Then Aether slashed through Ei.

Finally Patrick does a duel wielding combination slash with his Dragon swords covered in Pyro and Electro causing the overloaded reaction. Kiana and Mei came back and did their combination slash with Pyro and Electro too also causing the overloaded reaction. Ei fights back with shooting lightning bolts everywhere. The party had to dodge them all. Bronya blocks a lightning bolt with a blue energy shield from Project Bunny.

Tamamo No Mae and Yae Miko were now watching from the sidelines.

Tamamo: Can they really do it.

Miko: I know they can. I just know they can.

Patrick shoots yellow lightning, Kiana shoots red lightning, Mei shoots purple lightning, Bronya shoots blue lightning, Seele shoots azure lightning, Fu Hua shoots red lightning, and Sakura shoots pink lightning. They all hit Ei.

However, Ei wasn't so affected as she was immune to Electro attacks. Mei charges in and clashes with her Musou no Hitotachi. Then she manages to push Ei back.

Ei: Now you leave me no choice.

Ei charges up an attack from her Musou no Hitotachi. Once it was charged she sent a powerful beam of lightning at Mei. She looked behind and saw that her friends were behind her so she decided to hold her sword then she manages to block the lightning with her sword.

(Music ends)

However she was struggling to stay on her feet.

Kiana: Mei-Senpai!

Mei: Stay back, Kiana-chan! I've got this!

Ei: Putting your life on the line while trying to protect your friends. How commendable.

While struggling to block the lightning, Mei suddenly started remembering her past. The flashbacks went by then she spoke.

Mei: I've went through similar things you went through. When I was a kid, I lost my mother. Then when I turned older, my father was framed and the only reason why people liked me was because of my family name with how my father ran a company but after he was framed for a crime he didn't commit commit, everyone hated me. All but one. One still liked me. Kiana Kaslana. The one who loves me the most. She saved me and prevented me from becoming a monster. Then I met Bronya, Himeko, Fu Hua, and Patrick.

Mei held her sword tighter.

Mei: When Schicksal and Sirin took Kiana away from me. I never gave up...

Then her eyes glowed purple.

Mei: Becasue I had my friends and family with me!

Mei swings her sword then cuts through the lightning then her sword changed into her own version of the Musou no Hitotachi. She screamed out loud as she was breaking through the lightning.

Mei: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally she reached Ei who had a shocked expression on her face then she blocked Mei with her Musou no Hitotachi.

Kiana: Mei-senpai! You can do it! We believe in you!

Mei: HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

There was a burst of electricity that pushed both Raidens back. Then when they regained their stances their swords met again and caused a shockwave. This pushed everyone back.

Both Shoguns were locked but then they broke out of the lock.

Mei: You may have your eternity and your other stuff... but I have something more...

(Skip from 1:50 to 3:19)

Mei: I have friends and family!

Mei charges in and so did Ei. Then their swords met again and caused another shockwave.

Mei and Ei: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

They were locked again but broke out and backflipped jumped back. Then they charge in again.

Mei: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

Ei: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

They slashed and jumped around with all their might.

Ei was about to slice Mei but she managed to jump up back high then summed her giant arms and giant sword which then delivers an energy slash toward Ei which she cuts in half with her Musou no Hitotachi. Which gives Mei an opening which she rushes in with her version of the Musou no Hitotachi giving Ei a shocked espression.

Then as Mei was going to slash through her, everything flashed in white. Then both of them were engulfed in a column of lightning. Then everything flashed in white and purple.

(Music ends)

When the light cleared up, both Shoguns were laying down next to each other breathing.

Yae Miko: You've lost, Ei.

Ei: ... ...Yes, I have.

Kiana helped Mei up while Miko helped Ei up.

Yae Miko: Why can you not trust your people, and in the power of their ambitions? These ambitions have transcended space and time. They are something that no one can snuff out.

Aether: When people move forward with all their might... They can surpass the gods' expectations. And even take over the work of the gods.

Yae Miko: Is this the lesson you learned from your journey in Liyue?

Aether: Yes.

Yae Miko: There are nations where humans cast their god aside and stride forward...? So, are we to just abandon the notion of progress... for the sake of wishful thinking?

Ei: ...You and I have both witnessed the great loss that progress can bring. Eternity... eternity is the only way...

Ei explains her past and the origin of her pursuit of Eternity.

Yae Miko: The Heavenly Principles... irrelevant nonsense as far as I am concerned. When all's said and done, all you really want is to protect your beloved Inazuma, forever and ever. Isn't that right?

Ei: That would be something of an oversimplification.

Yae Miko: But is this nation worth existing for eternity? Stripped of ambitions, stripped of the potential for change, it does nothing more than simply... exist. It is a hollow shell of a nation. Huh. I wonder what loss would it really be to anyone if such a nation were destroyed?

Ei: Miko, retract your words. Never-changing eternity is the promise I made to my people.

Yae Miko: But what your people need from you is not your promises. They want your attention... your divine gaze.

Ei: ...You mean Visions? Humans have a lifespan of barely a hundred years. They cannot afford to bear any extra losses. But I have experienced it all. That is why I have chosen to guide them along the correct path toward eternity.

Yae Miko: *sigh*...

Mei: It's not working.

Sakura: Nothing we're saying is getting to her or shaking her will.

Yae Miko: But eternity is far too cruel a fate for you, Ei.

Ei: For me?

Yae Miko: Not only have you stopped paying attention to the world, but you have stopped paying attention to yourself. It must have been terribly lonely here, all alone, for centuries on end.

Ei: But it is necessary...

Yae Miko: You will miss much by refusing progress... You seek to prevent loss, but have you considered all you are losing by remaining here in stasis for all eternity? You are obviously lonely, and yet for the sake of eternity you choose to stretch your loneliness out to infinity...

Fu Hua: I've lived for 50,000 years and I've experienced losses through out my immortal life. My body is immortal and it won't turn to dust. Being lonely here is unhealthy.

Mei: She's right. Being stuck in your shell is not good for you.

Yae Miko: Tell me this. Why is the sky here that was once so dark glowing again? Why now? This is your Plane of Euthymia. It's your inner world. So it can only mean... that you are happy to see me again. You have found the loneliness here unbearable for a long time now, haven't you?

Ei: I... have nothing to say to that.

Yae Miko: Hehehe, oh, but I have so much to say to you. Let me tell you all that has happened over the last few centuries.

Finally Ei smiles.

Ei: How long will that take?

Yae Miko: As a fox envoy, I have an excellent memory. I recall every detail of the last few centuries with perfect clarity. So it will probably take me another few centuries to relay it to you.

Ei: Heh... hehe... Miko, I never thought I would have the chance to meet with you like this again. *sigh* Seeing you again is a change to eternity... and a very nice surprise.

Yae Miko: Hehe, since you are willing to admit that, I suppose that means we can still be friends?

Ei: What a childish conversation this is. Anyway. Now that I have been defeated by you and your plan, I will honor your wish to abolish the Vision Hunt Decree. But with regards to eternity and the question of whether this nation should move forward, I need time to give it some thought.

Yae Miko: Hehe, you are the one who's been acting like a child from the very beginning.

The two girls hug.

Sakura and Mei stand next to each other.

Sakura: Could a relationship between us work like their relationship?

Mei: I don't know. I'm close to Kiana and you're close to Kallen.

Tamamo: Maybe you both should be closer like them. Besides, You both look exactly like them and a closer relationship between you two could work out. Mikon~

Mei: Yeah. I guess your right.

Sakura: I guess we can have a closer relationship like them.

Patrick: I guess if we're done here. Please take us back to the real world. The others are waiting for us to come back.

Ei: As you wish.

Finally they returned back to the outside with Ei in tow. The sky cleared up and it was shining again.

Paimon: Guys!

Paimon and the other members of the party ran to them.

Paimon: What happened in there?! Did you beat her?!

Mei: Yes... yes we did. Ei says that she will abolish the Vision Hunt Decree.

Paimon: Really?!

Sakura: Yes. Now this war can finally be over and peace can finally return to Inazuma.

Yae Miko: Yes. Finally.

Ei: I apologize to everyone in Inazuma. I will abolish the Vision Hunt Decree.

Then the scene changes into a series of scenes

Yae Miko: As promised, the Raiden Shogun abolished the Vision Hunt Decree. Finally, her people's wishes penetrated her locked heart. Beyond the Plane of Euthymia, she saw what eternity means in the eyes of the world. When one's fervent ambition burns brightly. The gods will cast their gaze upon you. Some ambitions. Have the power to heal wounds. To bring victory. To inspire hope.
Yae Miko: But some ambitions. Outlive their masters, long after the soul ascends. They remain as they were in the beginning. Burning bright and true. For all eternity.

The Visions were returned back to their owners. Kazuha visited his friend's grave and left the Masterless Vision on it. In Sakura's teapot the St. Freya Knights we're saying goodbye to the servants leaving as they were turning into blue mana particles.

Kojiro: It's been an honor to fight by your side.

Ushiwakamaru: I hope that you can summon us again the next time you need us.

Francis Drake: Great fighting with you.

Ishtar: I'll come back again.

Sakura: Thank you servants. Thank you.

Patrick: For everything you've done for us.

Then the servants all disappeared.

However...

All except Tamamo No Mae.

Sakura: Tamamo?

Tamamo: I think I'm gonna stay with you.

Sakura: Ok Tamamo.

Tamamo: And Patrick.

Patrick: Hmm?

Tamamo walks up to Patrick.

Tamamo: I hope that someday you can pull me in "Fate Grand Order". And here you go.

Tamamo wraps her arms around Patrick and kisses him in the lips.

This caused him and the Valkyries to turn red in shock. Then she separates from him.

Tamamo: Ehehehe. Mikon~

Then as promised to Teppei. They put on his uniform and put his uniform on his dead body and honored him with a funeral.

Sakura: Thank you Teppei... for everything you've done for us.

Kallen: You were a great friend.

Kiana: (Even though you were only an NPC. You were a great character to be around.)

Kiana, Kallen, and Patrick pointed their guns up and shot into the air a few times. Then the camera tilted up and faced the sky. Then it turned black.
