Chapter 46: Mid Summer Adventure
(Klee's confinement room)
Theresa and Klee were doing things typical little girls would do. Playing games, playing with toys, drawing pictures, and reading books. Theresa has taught Klee a lot of things since first meeting Klee. All of a sudden, Klee noticed something on the windowsill.
Klee: Huh? What is that?
Theresa: Huh? That?
Klee reached and found that it was a letter.
Klee: It's a letter.
Theresa: From who?
When Klee read the letter, her eyes widened then the camera zoomed out of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters where Klee screamed.
Klee: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bronya burst open the door.
Bronya: What happened?!
(Water Fountain)
Paimon: Come to think of it, Aether, we haven't seen Klee for a while, have we? Let's go find her! She'll probably be happy to see us, too! But where would she be at this time of day? We might as well check with the Knights!
(Cathedral)
Kiana: I wonder how Auntie Theresa is doing? I should go check on her.
(Knights of Favonius Headquarters)
Kiana met Aether and Paimon at the doors coming for the same reason. To see Klee and Theresa. When they got in they saw Klee and Theresa with Bronya.
Paimon: There she is, over there!
Kiana: Auntie Theresa and Bronya are there too!
Paimon: Klee, we haven't seen you in forever!
Klee: Oh! It's Mr. Honorary Knight and Paimon! And it's the Valkyrie Kiana.
Theresa: My niece.
Klee: *sobs* We were just about to go find you...
Theresa: It's terrible.
Kiana: Huh?
Aether: What's the matter?
Klee: I got a terrible, terrible letter and need to go a certain place!
Paimon: A terrible letter?
Klee: Yes, from a person that won't acknowledge that Klee and Dodoco are family. They even said they want to test Klee and have Klee go to Dodoland... But, but...
Paimon: There's no need to rush, slow down!
Aether: Who's this person that you're talking about?
Klee: A very bad, bad, bad guy! He's called Dodo-King!
Theresa: Yes! A bad guy called Dodo-King!
Aether: ...?
Kiana: Dodo-King?
Paimon: Who's Dodo-King?
Klee: Paimon and Kiana also hasn't heard of him?
Paimon: Nope. Wait, why did you say "also"?
Klee: Because even Klee has never heard of him!
Theresa: Neither do we. We've never heard of this Dodo-King. Feels like HOMU-King to me.
Bronya: All over again.
Kiana: Like when you refused to leave that virtual world like you were being mind controlled and you had the HOMUs attack Patrick-kun, Mei-senpai, and me.
Paimon: He's probably just some weirdo!
Klee: We went to go find Albedo, but he's not home, so I thought of you!
Theresa: We were gonna go look for you but thank goodness that you decided to come here.
Klee: Let me read you the letter that Dodo-King wrote!
Klee began to read the letter.
Klee: "Wicked girl of flame, I am of the Dodo Clan"... Uh, Klee can't read this part... "In the name of Dodo-King, you are not qualified to become Dodoco's new family!" Unless you bring Dodoco to the Golden Apple Archipelago, light four..." Uh... "Accept the..." Um... I don't know some of these words...
Paimon: Let Paimon have a look!
Paimon took the letter.
Paimon: This word is "overlord," which means he's the most powerful guy around and what he says goes. This part reads, "light four beacons, and knock upon the trialist's gate." Hmm... Probably to accept some kind of challenge. The last word is "arbitrate," which... which means he wants to judge you.
Klee: Arbi... Um... Arbi... trate?
Theresa: We've had to go through it over and over again but Klee can't pronounce the words right.
Paimon: Agh, it's nothing good anyway. He'll judge and criticize you while pretending to be the good guy!
Kiana: When he is actually the bad guy.
Aether: It sounds like he wants you to return Dodoco?
Klee: How could this be!? Dodoco is my bestest friend, so I'll never give Dodoco to him! But... He said he's the strongest of the Dodo Clan. Ohh... Could the Dodo Clan be Dodoco's family?
Paimon: From the names, it seems like it... But Klee, where is this "Golden Apple Archipelago"?
Klee: I don't know.
Theresa: Thats what we're trying to figure out.
Paimon: What!?
Klee: This is also the first time Klee has heard of the "Golden Apple Archipelago." Golden Apple... Archipelago? It's probably an island with lots of apples, hehe.
Paimon: Uh...
Kiana: Does the letter say anything else.
Paimon: No. The only things written on the letter were what Klee just read out to us, and there's no signature. Klee, did this letter come with an envelope?
Klee: Nope.
Aether: Where was this letter sent from?
Klee: I don't know. It suddenly appeared on my room's windowsill.
Theresa: Someone must have had good throwing skills and got it underneath or maybe someone snuck in at night and left it there then teleported out.
Paimon: Dodo-King, Dodo Clan... If Paimon remembers correctly, Dodoco is the toy hanging on Klee's backpack, right?
Theresa: Yes.
Klee: No! Dodoco is my bestest friend, not some toy!
Paimon: O-Oh, right... What a magical creature Dodoco is!
Bronya: Just like HOMU.
Bronya brings out her HOMU doll she got from the Unusual Hilichurl.
Paimon: But all this sudden talk about family and whatnot is pretty strange... It feels like it might be a prank.
Aether: I also suspect it's a prank.
Theresa: Thats what I also think. Maybe some kid is trying to hurt Klee's feelings or threaten to steal Dodoco away from her. But Dodoco was given to her by her mother, Alice. So why would someone threaten to steal Dodoco away from her?
Bronya: That is a good question.
Paimon: If it's just a prank, then we should ignore it.
Klee: No, no way! I'll never admit defeat! I have to go there!
Theresa: Thats not what we said. We never said anything about defeat.
Klee: It's not a prank! I just know that it's not a prank! I cannot ignore this! That is why I need to go there to protect Dodoco!
Paimon: But we've never even heard of such a place...
Klee: Mr. Honorary Knight, Kiana, Bronya, Theresa, you know what to do, right? Klee believes in you!
Paimon: Even if we did know what to do...
Klee: I'm begging you! Please please help me!
Kiana: I guess we could.
Paimon: Paimon feels like if we don't agree to help, she'll go off on her own. That'd be dangerous.
Aether: Indeed.
Paimon: Rather than letting Klee go adventuring off by herself, it'd be better if we accompany her!
Theresa: Thats what Bronya and I have been thinking too.
Bronya: Because the Bronya has come up with a plan if we meet Dodo-King.
Klee: Oh, please! Please!
Aether: I understand now. We'll help you.
Paimon: *sigh* How can we say no after seeing you try so hard? But since we're going together, you need to be well-behaved and not run off by yourself!
Klee: Okay~!
Theresa brings out a HOMI doll.
Theresa: We won't let this Dodo-King take Dodoco away from you. Because we Valkyries and HOMU and his friends won't let Dodo-King get away with stealing Dodoco away from you.
Paimon: As per usual, let's start by asking around for some info.
Kiana: I'll go get the others.
Kiana went off to go find the other Valkyries, Captain, and me. First she tracked down her senpai Mei who finished a commission, then she found Seele walking around with a basket, then she found Fu Hua coming back from Liyue in her Phoenix outfit and shortened white hair, and then she found Himeko and Captain at Angel's Share. She also found the ELFs Jingwai's Wings, Blood Embrace, and Book of Fuxi.
Meanwhile Aether, Paimon, Theresa, Klee, and Bronya went to go ask around for information. First they went to Marjorie but she knew nothing about the Golden Apple Archipelago. Then they asked Huffman but he also knew nothing, lastly they asked Cyrus but sadly he knew nothing of it either.
We all met up somewhere.
Paimon: Looks like the people of Mondstadt don't know anything about the place in this letter.
Aether: Feels more and more like a prank to me.
Theresa: It feels like it's not. There has to be someone else.
Paimon: Klee, is there anyone you can think of that you don't get along with? Would there be anyone who'd write a letter to scare you?
Klee: No, I love everyone very much, and everyone loves Klee very much.
Paimon: Mm, Paimon thinks so, too.
Klee: So it can't be a prank!
Aether: Agreed.
Paimon: Hmm, it's not a prank, yet no one knows where these islands are. Ugh, this is getting more and more confusing.
Aether: Is there someone even more knowledgeable we could ask?
Paimon: Knowledgeable... Right!
Valkyries, Patrick, and Captain: Lisa!
Paimon: We should ask Lisa about this kind of thing! She's at the library every day and has probably read every book in Mondstadt.
Klee: Oh! Miss Lisa!
Bronya: Lisa may know something.
Paimon: Let's go to the library!
(Library)
So we went to the library to ask Lisa. We found her at the desk and went up to her.
Paimon: Lisa!
Lisa: Oh, well if it isn't the cuties, Paimon and Klee. What brings you to the library all of a sudden?
Aether: There's something we want to ask you.
Bronya: Klee needs your help.
Klee: Miss Lisa, can you help Klee find an arki-archipelago?
Lisa: An archipelago?
Theresa: Yes. An archipelago
Klee: Dodo-King told Klee to go to the Golden Apple Archipelago so he can challenge Klee!
Paimon: Don't worry, Klee, let Paimon explain. Lisa, it's like this...
We tell Lisa everything we know about the letter and the archipelago...
Lisa: Let me get this straight. To determine if Klee is worthy of becoming Dodoco's family, the ruler of the Dodo Clan, Dodo-King, wrote a letter to Klee summoning her to this Golden Apple Archipelago to be judged?
Theresa: Yes. That's it. Dodo-King threatened to steal Dodoco away from Klee and we need to know the location.
Lisa: Does that sum it up?
Klee: Yes! I have to go!
Lisa: And you cuties sought me out to help Klee find the location of this Golden Apple Archipelago, correct?
Patrick: Yes.
Captain: Correct.
Captain was still blushing from seeing Lisa.
Aether: That's right. You're one of the smartest people in Mondstadt.
Bronya: The one to rely on for help.
Lisa: Haha, how sweet of you to say. Then I have no choice but to assist you in earnest. Klee, can you show me that letter?
Klee: Okay!
Klee handed the letter to Lisa.
Lisa: Hmm. Though there's little information written upon the letter, have you all tried any other methods?
Paimon: Other methods?
Kiana: Like what other methods?
Lisa: This letter contains faint elemental traces that seem more like a hint than anything else. Maybe try using your Elemental Sight.
Paimon: Right, why didn't we think of that! Let's take a look!
Aether took the letter then used his Elemental Sight.
Paimon: Did you find anything?
Aether: Something appeared on the back of the letter.
Lisa: Most of the content on the reverse page was applied via elemental power. What an interesting approach. Here's a pen. Cutie, can I trouble you to copy down what you see with your Elemental Sight?
Aether transcribes everything he saw using Elemental Sight on the back of the letter...
Paimon: Done!
Theresa: So what is it?
Lisa: The information on the reverse page is now clear. This drawing is likely of the Golden Apple Archipelago you've been looking for.
Paimon: A ton of small islands floating by themselves in the water without being anchored to any land... It's almost like they popped up from the seabed. Like they appeared out of thin air!
Lisa: Hmm. Paimon, you might be right.
Klee: I don't understand what you mean...
Lisa: I've read every single book within this library's walls. Similar islands have been mentioned in some of them.
Theresa: Let's hear it.
Bronya: We need to know.
Lisa: A mysterious archipelago enveloped by storms and dense fog, belonging to no nation. That which is outside cannot enter, not can anything inside leave. Only those who are chosen may enter its territory. Many years ago, a fleet from Mondstadt encountered some islands at sea. Reportedly, there were torrential rains and howling winds. The sailors could hardly discern land through the thick fog. The islands weren't far, but no matter how much they sailed, they never grew closer. The sailors were initially confused but then became terrified, as they believed they were hallucinating.
Paimon: Woah, talk about mysterious and creepy...
Lisa: Unfortunately, the books do not record the location of these islands. I'm afraid that if you want more information, you'll have to find someone more knowledgeable than I.
Paimon: And Paimon thought Lisa would be the expert on this kind of thing.
Lisa: I am but a librarian who prefers to stay inside with her books.
Bronya in mind: Like a shut in NEET.
Lisa: Klee, do you really want to go to those islands? It might be a very scary place.
Klee: Yes, I want to go!
Lisa: Haha, my, how brave. Far be it from me to scare a child, but Klee, you really should take someone with you, just in case. Someone reliable, like my cuties over here.
Paimon: Klee, you're not scared?
Klee: I'm scared, but not being able to be Dodoco's family is even scarier... Dodoco is very important to me... I won't lose to Dodo-King!
Theresa: Now there's some spirit. I like children like that. Since I am a child but am more mature.
Klee: I'll need to ask for some time off so I can go to the Golden Apple Archipelago and find Dodo-King.
Paimon: Time off?
Klee: That's right, I'm a Knight of Favonius. Master Jean told me that if Klee wants to go someplace far, then she has to ask for time off.
Paimon: You're going to ask for time off... now? We still don't even know where these islands are!
Lisa: Cutie, judging by the look on your face, you have an idea, don't you?
Aether: I have some impressive friends in Mondstadt.
Mei: And us too.
Fu Hua: And impressive friends in Liyue too.
Lisa: It'll be up to you to get Jean's approval. I'll stay here and silently cheer for you all while enjoying a book and some tea.
Theresa: Then let's go to Jean's office.
So we went to Jean's office where Jean was with her little sister Barbara.
Klee: Master Jean, I want to ask for some time off because I want to go somewhere!
Jean: Klee? Oh, and it's the Honorary Knights and Paimon as well.
Barbara: It's been a while, everyone. How have you been?
Theresa: Oh we've been great.
Kiana: Still fighting strong.
Paimon: Barbara's also here! How rare!
Aether: Did we interrupt a sisterly moment?
Jean: Ahem! Oh, o-of course not. Klee, why are you requesting time off all of a sudden?
Klee: Klee is going to the Golden Apple Archipelago to meet the Dodo-King or else... or else he'll take Dodoco away!
Theresa: Thats right. Klee needs to go so Dodo-King doesn't steal Dodoco away from Klee!
Barbara: Dodo-King? Take Dodoco away? Steal Dodoco away?
Klee: *whimper* He doesn't think that Klee is worthy of being part of Dodoco's family... I need to prove myself. The Honorary Knights will help me, right?
Theresa: Right.
Seele: It's what we do.
Fu Hua: we never turn down help.
Jean: Traveler, Paimon, is this so?
Aether: Klee spoke the truth.
Jean: I've never heard of the Golden Apple Archipelago. Where is it?
Patrick: We don't know.
Barbara: I've also never heard of it...
Klee: Me either, but Miss Lisa said that someone must know!
Jean: ...So it's a place that even Lisa doesn't know?
Aether: Yes, but I have a hunch.
Jean: I see. From what you say, it seems to be quite a mysterious place. I sincerely apologize, but I cannot approve Knight Klee's request for time off.
Klee: Huh? But why? I must go!
Theresa: If Klee doesn't go, Dodo-King will come here and take Dodoco away by force!
Jean: Even if these mysterious islands do exist, we cannot determine if they are safe or not. I cannot allow you to journey into a potentially dangerous place.
Paimon: But...
Klee: If I don't go, Dodoco will be taken away. I-I don't want to lose Dodoco...
Theresa: Klee is right. Bad things will happen if Klee doesn't go.
Barbara: Oh, Klee...
Jean: Moreover, how do you intend to reach the islands? Without a safe and reliable plan drawn up, I'm afraid I cannot give you my approval.
Klee: Oh... Dodoco...
Barbara: Psst! Honorary Knights!
Barbara winked at us.
Aether in mind: Huh? Is Barbara winking at us?
Barbara: Outside!
Barbara winked at us again.
Kiana: Uh, we better go outside.
So we went outside the office with Barbara.
Barbara: Can you think of a way to get to the islands?
Kiana: Instead of sailing there, we fly there.
Barbara: Fly? How?
Patrick: With two ways. The first way is with my dragon. The other way is...
I signaled Aether.
Aether: Venti might know a way.
Paimon: Paimon also thought of him just now! We're on the same wavelength, as expected.
Theresa: Yes.
Klee: Venti?
Paimon: Oh, he's a magical bard that Paimon calls "Tone-Deaf Bard."
Kiana: For being so shady.
Klee: Can he help me?
Paimon: He's our friend, so he'll definitely help!
Barbara: If he's a friend of the Honorary Knights', then things will work out for sure. We all know how reliable the Honorary Knights are. How about this? I'll try to persuade Master Jean. You all know she's a serious person, so I think it might take some time... Klee, trust me, okay? I'll do everything I can to help you.
Klee: Okay, I can wait.
Kiana: Huh? Why not take Toriyama now?
Patrick: Because Jean will punish us.
Kiana: Fine...
Barbara: Wonderful! Tomorrow afternoon, let's all meet at the plaza outside the Cathedral. I'm sure I'll have some good news, just leave it to me!
Paimon: You're so dependable! Do your best, Barbara!
Himeko: We'll go tell the other Valkyries the news.
(Next day)
Paimon: It's time! Let's meet up with Barbara and Klee at the Plaza!
(Plaza)
Paimon: We're all here now!
Barbara: Everyone, over here.
Klee: Honorary Knights, Paimon~
Theresa: Hello.
Jean: Greetings.
Aether: Oh, Master Jean is also here.
Jean: Yes, it's a long story...
Jean: Barbara and Lisa have both spoken to me, and there is something that I have realized. Regardless if I approve it or not, Klee will go where she wants to anyway. This is how it has always been.
Klee: Ehehe...
Barbara: We all know Klee. Rather than have her run headlong into danger, it's better to agree to her request.
Jean: Knight Klee, your request for leave has been approved.
Klee: Wow! I'm so excited!
Theresa: Yay! You get to go!
Barbara: However, there are conditions!
Kiana: What are the conditions?
Jean: In exchange, I will be accompanying everyone to this letter's Golden Apple Archipelago. As for the Knights' affairs, I have entrusted them to Kaeya. Work has been busy and I shouldn't leave, but... I wouldn't be able to stop worrying about Klee.
Jean: So, please allow me to travel with you.
Theresa: Yes Master Jean, we accept you to come along with us.
Paimon: Alright! There won't be any problems if Master Jean comes with us!
Barbara: Big Sis — I mean, Master Jean also suggested that I come along. Barbatos forbid, but I can assist if someone needs medical treatment during our journey.
Paimon: We're so lucky to have Barbara too!
Seele: Both sisters from the Gunnhildr Clan are coming with us.
Klee: Miss Barbara, Master Jean, you two are so nice. I promise I'll behave!
Jean: Klee, you always say that. I hope you will abide by your words this time.
Theresa: Like how you can't fish blast fish or blow anyone up. Except for monsters that is.
Jean: She is allowed to blow up monsters.
Klee: Hehe...
Jean: Lisa heard that I wanted to accompany everyone to the islands, so she prepared this pouch. Supposedly, opening it will reveal a new way.
Paimon: New way? You mean a way to keep Klee out of trouble?
Jean: She said not to open it until we've reached the islands. I think it might be something to use in case of an emergency.
Barbara: As expected of Miss Lisa! She's been thinking of us this whole time.
Captain: She's a beautiful lady.
Barbara: Anyway, our next step is to find the bard, right? I just asked the people nearby. They said that he hasn't performed at the square today and that he likely went to Windrise.
Paimon: What are we waiting for? Let's head to Windrise and find Tone-Deaf Bard.
(Windrise)
So we went to Windrise and found Venti there.
Paimon: Venti! We found you!
Venti: Hm? If so many important people are looking for me, then I suppose it is something important?
Patrick: It is.
Kiana: We need your help with something.
Aether: Venti, do you know of the Golden Apple Archipelago?
Paimon: This is the map of the islands.
Paimon showed Venti the map of the islands.
Venti: Oh, yes, that place... Hahaha, congratulations, you've found the right person.
Theresa: Finally! We found someone who knows about the islands!
Klee: Wowowooow, you really do know!
Venti: So now they're called the Golden Apple Archipelago, huh? They used to be known as the Haar Islands.
Kiana: The Haar Islands?
Venti: They're located on a stretch of sea that's particularly difficult for the average person to reach. Not to mention, the area has strong storms and thick fog year-round. Ships can hardly approach the islands, let alone dock. Why do you guys wish to go there?
Klee: I'm going there to meet Dodo-King! He said he wants to test Klee to see if she's qualified to be Dodoco's family!
Theresa: Thats why we're going.
Venti: Hmm. Are you nervous?
Klee: A little... But I will not give in. Master Tone-Deaf Bard, you must help us!
Venti: Master Tone-Deaf Bard... Interesting. I like it.
Aether: Paimon, you're a bad influence...
Paimon: Is this Paimon's fault?
Kiana: Of course it's your fault. You come up with bad nicknames. Someone else will use them and rename your bad nicknames.
Venti: Fear not! Since you wish it so, Master Tone-Deaf Bard will lend a helping hand.
Jean: Could you really help us?
Venti: Of course! In this world, what is more pure and free than the wish of a child?
Kiana: Something that flies?
Venti: Correct!
Venti strums his Lyre then plays it.
Barbara: What a beautiful sound...
Mei: Yes it is. Very beautiful.
The wind changed.
Paimon: Huh? Is the wind picking up?
Venti: Wait just a moment, he'll be here soon.
And then the air dragon Dvalin shows up then comes flying over to the group.
Jean: Th—That's...!?
Venti: Uh—uhh... This is a secret between us here, so don't tell anyone else.
Barbara: One of the Four Winds!?
Kiana: Dvalin!
Jean: Oh! My dear poet, you have my utmost gratitude for the aid you have provided us.
Venti: The Acting Grand Master sure is formal.
Aether: We knew you'd have a way, Venti.
Venti: Haha, what wonderful expressions you all have! I'll see you off here. May the winds bless your travels~!
Venti turned to me.
Venti: By the way, Patrick. Why didn't you think of summoning your dragon?
Patrick: Because we needed to ask if you knew anything about the island first.
Venti: You are still going to summon your dragon right?
Patrick: Yeah. Because we asked all the other Valkyries to come with us.
Dvalin landed down in front of us.
Patrick: Dvalin. Glad to see you again.
Dvalin: And you as well.
Kiana: How have you been enjoying your freedom, Mr. Dragon?
Dvalin: It is great. I have been enjoying my freedom.
Theresa: We need your help with something. But first there are some new faces we'd like to introduce you to.
At just the right time, the other Valkyires, ELFs, and Higokumaru showed up. Even Tesla, Einstein, and Tesla-ZERO showed up.
Durandal: So this is one of The Four Winds. The Dragon of the East, Dvalin.
Sakura: Out of many beasts I've seen, this one is majestic.
After introductions we told Dvalin everything.
Dvalin: I see... I will take you over there...
The scene fades into another scene in the sky where it shows Toriyama flying next to Dvalin where all of us were riding on both dragons. Some of the Valkyries were on Dvalin's back giving Toriyama a break from carrying the transport.
Barbara: AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! This is so scary!!!!!!!! Make it stop!!!!!!!!
Theresa: We've gotten used to riding on dragons and other beasts! You'll get used to it!!!
Klee: This is so fun!!!!!!
Seele: You won't believe it!!!!!
Patrick: Looks like some of us are not used to riding on flying beasts.
Kiana: Only Barbara is not used to flying on dragons.
Barbara: I heard that!
Kallen: You know it's true!
Patrick: Let's pick up the pace!
Both dragons flew faster making Barbara scream louder.
Barbara: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jean: This is so wild!
Theresa: It is wild!
Later we arrived on an island surrounded by fog. Both dragons stopped at a tall island then we got off.
Dvalin: This is as far as I go. It would be cumbersome for me to proceed further. Please exercise caution.
Aether: ...?
Kiana: We will.
Dvalin flew away then I opened a portal to send Toriyama back.
Toriyama: I have done all I can. Continue your quest.
Then he flew through the portal before it closed.
Klee: We're here, we finally made it!
Theresa: So this is one of the islands.
Paimon: Tone-Deaf Bard sure knows when to pull out all the stops, suddenly letting us ride over on a dragon! Paimon almost got blown away...
Book of Fuxi: Same here.
Barbara: Th—That was my first time riding on a dragon's back. M—My heart won't stop pounding...
Patrick: You'll get used to it.
Jean: Phew... Is everyone alright?
Barbara: Yes, I'm fine.
Kiana: We're okey.
Everyone said that they were all okey.
Barbara: Big Sis— uh Master Jean, just who is that bard?
Jean: Well, uh...
Jean: He's a legendary bard of exceptional musical talent who can use his lyre to call forth all manner of creatures.
Paimon: Whoa, even Master Jean is pretty quick on the spot...
Patrick: Like my summoning spell.
Aether: A necessary skill for managing subordinates.
Barbara: Wow, what an impressive person. We must properly thank him when we return.
Jean: Agreed. In any case, what are these islands?
We looked around and saw nothing but ocean.
Jean: The weather is dreadful, the fog is thick, and visibility is low. Just like Lisa said.
Paimon: We should be extra careful.
Jean: Traveler, Theresa, Paimon, what else does the letter say?
Paimon: Oh, Paimon remembers! It read, "Wicked girl of flame, I am of the Dodo Clan as its overlord. In the name of Dodo-King, you are not qualified to become Dodoco's new family!"
Aether: Unless...
Paimon: "Unless you bring Dodoco to the Golden Apple Archipelago, light the four beacons, and knock upon the trialist's gate to accept your challenge."
Theresa: And thats it. Still don't know anything about the Golden Apple Archipelago
Barbara: Four beacons? Does that mean he wants us to find something that emits light?
Bronya: It sounds like it.
Paimon: Now that you mention it, doesn't it seem like it's a little less foggy here than the surrounding area?
Jean: Looking carefully, that indeed appears to be the case. Could the clearing of the fog be related to this device?
Jean points at the blue beacon.
Paimon: Don't you think it looks familiar, Aether? Pretty similar to the Portable Waypoints we've used before.
Aether didn't say anything but one of the Valkyries did.
Seele: I think it is a Portable Waypoint.
Paimon: Crafting Portable Waypoints requires Luminescent Spines, so they can also function as a source of light. So if this device here seems like it can dissipate fog, maybe it's a similar kind of device.
Aether: I think so, too.
Barbara: "Light four beacons, and knock upon the trialist's gate"... What will happen after we light up all four beacons?
Kallen: Maybe the fog will be cleared.
Jean: There's already one lit device here. It appears that we need to find the other three and light them up as well.
Klee: Huh? What's that?
Klee runs to the edge. Theresa goes after her.
Theresa: Wait up!
Paimon: Hey, don't run off... Agh, c'mon, guys, catch up to her!
So we go after her then Klee and Theresa stops at the edge and sees something down below.
Klee: It looks like something's down there!
Jean: Let's take a closer look.
We took out our wind gliders then glided down.
Paimon: ...A boat?
Sakura: Why would one be here?
Jean: It looks as if someone has been awaiting our arrival.
Paimon: Are we really supposed to sail in such terrible weather?
Jean: I'm afraid that appears to be the intention. Everyone... Everything about these islands is a mystery. Regardless of what lies ahead, please proceed with utmost caution.
Patrick: It's small. It looks like it can only carry a few people.
Einstein: We'll not to worry. That's why Tesla and I are here.
Tesla: We stuffed our inventories with building materials.
Tesla-ZERO: And we can build more.
Later Tesla, Einstein, and Tesla-ZERO finished building exact copies of the boat. So we got into the boats and began to go find the other devices staying together. We saw bueyes called glimmering beacons that when passing by them, they lit up.
There were wooden made islands where there were hilichurls so we used the boats' weapons and took them out. The first Isle we landed on was called Pudding Isle where the first beacon was already lit. Now we were at an Isle called Twinning Isle. We lit the Portable Waypoint beacon up and the fog cleared.
Paimon: The surrounding fog seems to have lifted! Lighting these devices is really useful.
Theresa: Let's go to the next one.
We went to the Broken Isle next.
Paimon: The surrounding area is gradually becoming clearer. Let's go and find the last one!
Lastly we went to the Minacious Isle.
Paimon: We've found all the devices! Let's go someplace higher up to get a view of our surroundings.
We went back to where we started.
Klee: The fog's gone!
Paimon: Huh, it's actually pretty scenic here.
Theresa: It sure is.
Captain: We've visited a lot of isles before but nothing like the isles here.
Jean: The four beacons have been lit, but we still don't know what trials may lie ahead.
Barbara: Ahh, the weather's so nice! I know we can't afford to drop our guard, but I can't help but enjoy the summer...
Klee: I wanna catch fish!
Jean: Klee, this isn't Mondstadt. Please be careful.
Theresa: And no fish blasting.
Klee: Oh. I understand...
Klee: Paimon, after we deal with Dodo-King together, we can go catch some fish!
Paimon: Okay, sure, whatever you say!
Seele: And we'll catch other marine life.
Jean: Who or what exactly is Dodo-King?
Aether: You seem concerned.
Jean: Yes. It is also my first time here. This may not sound fair to Klee, but my primary duty is to protect everyone. Finding this overlord is secondary.
Jean: Also, the sudden appearance of this letter, these islands that are inaccessible by ordinary people... It's too much of a coincidence. Why would this sort of invitation be sent to a child?
Barbara: It's truly unbelievable... I also mustn't be careless.
Paimon: Well, what are we all waiting for? Let's start exploring the area!
Aether: Carefree and ready to explore, classic Paimon.
Jean: Paimon's right. We should take advantage of the clear weather to reassess our situation.
Barbara: Even on a mysterious island, I have no worries as long as you're here.
Barbara: Whew! So, should we go swimming first?
Jean: *sigh* Barbara is always happy-go-lucky when she sees such beautiful scenery.
Jean: Traveler, please feel free to explore. I'll be at the ready if there is any sign of danger.
Jean: I hope this island doesn't give us too much trouble...
(Meanwhile back in Mondstadt)
Kaeya was in Jean's office.
Kaeya: Who would've thought that the Acting Grand Master would ever step out of her office? Oh my, looks like I'll be quite busy in the near future... but there's no helping that.
(The next day)
We had set up camp at the spot where we landed with tents set up.
Paimon: Ahh... The weather's so nice. Still feels like Paimon's dreaming. Good morning! Wh—Wha, what's with everyone's clothes!?
Jean, Barbara, the Valkyries, Captain, and I have changed into summer clothes.
Kiana was in her lemon soda outfit.
Mei was in her Aqua Chime dress.
Bronya was in her Blue Reunion dress.
Seele was in her Papilio Lily dress.
Fu Hua was in her Spring Travel outfit.
Theresa was in her Shallow Sunset dress.
Himeko was in her Summer Party outfit.
Sakura was in her Summer Sakura dress.
Kallen was in a summer version of her Snow Fairy costume.
Rita was in her Ice Sea Spray dress.
Durandal was in her Purrfect Holiday outfit.
Liliya was in her Wave Galáctica outfit and Rozaliya was in her Coral Sunrise outfit.
Jean was in a dress called Sea Breeze Dandelion.
Barbara was in a swimsuit called Summertime Sparkle.
And Captain and I were in hula shirts. I was in green and he was in red.
Barbara: Hehe! So, how do we look?
Kiana: We had our summer clothes in our inventories and thought it would be a great idea to wear them right now.
Barbara: We changed into summer clothes! Although we didn't come here to have fun, we don't want to miss out on a beautiful summer day by the sea!
Captain: Yeah...
Sparkles appeared over his head as he had the feeling of being surrounded by beautiful girls in summer clothes.
Jean: Th—This doesn't look weird, does it? Such light and summery clothing definitely doesn't suit me... Ah, hehe... pardon me.
Aether: No, not at all.
Jean: Really...? Thank you, Traveler.
Patrick: You look great Master Jean.
What I said made Jean blush.
Seele: I have another summer dress. I wanted to wear this one first then my other one second.
(Later with cuckoo clock sounds)
Seele was in her other dress.
Patrick: Yes. Much better and cuter.
Seele blushed.
Seele: Thank you big brother.
Paimon: It's surprising that Master Jean would specially pack summer clothes.
Barbara: Oh no, my big sister would never pack these herself. Lisa and I picked them out for her.
Paimon: Blurting out "big sister" and not even realizing it... Barbara's drunk on summer already!
Jean: There's quite a story behind these summer clothes...
Captain: What is it?
Jean: I thought Lisa's pouch was to be used for an emergency. I didn't expect it to contain a set of summer clothing.
Paimon: All these accessories, too... Definitely Lisa's handiwork.
Jean: Everyone in the Knights of Favonius is always trying to have me take leave. I suppose I do push myself too much...
Kiana: Just like that time when you got sick for pushing yourself too much that we had to do your duties for you.
???: Everyone, come over here!
Jean: That's Klee's voice!
So we ran to Klee.
Klee: I saw something weird.
Paimon: Huh? What's going on? What do you mean by something weird?
Klee: Look at the ocean!
We saw something floating.
Klee: See? There's something weird floating on the water!
Jean: That narrow device... It seems to be a buoy.
Bronya: Not wobbling like normal bueyes.
Barbara: But we didn't see anything when we arrived here yesterday...
Klee: Dodo-King must have put them there!
Paimon: Strange devices that just appear overnight... Something doesn't add up.
Patrick: I didn't sense anything last night.
Durandal: Neither did I. I stayed up longer last night but saw nothing then fell asleep.
Klee: Well, since he hasn't revealed himself to us, does that mean he's changed his mind? Or maybe... Maybe these buoys are a clue and he's waiting for me to find him!
Barbara: So could that be why these buoys have suddenly appeared?
Aether: Let's take a closer look and find out.
Paimon: Right, we won't solve anything by guessing on-shore.
Barbara: Is it okay to go out there though?
Jean: Perhaps, but we must investigate the buoys regardless. It's hard to say what will be waiting for us at sea. Just in case, prepare yourselves for combat.
Durandal: We will.
Durandal drew out her weapon while the rest of us drew out our weapons.
Aether: She's reliable even in summer wear.
Jean: N—Not at all. This is... just my duty.
Theresa: When we wear something different. We are still reliable.
Captain: Where's Tesla, Einstein, and Tesla-ZERO?
Patrick: They went off on their own. Went to go study and learn more about the islands.
Jean: Now then, I'll entrust the preparation efforts to all of you. Once you are ready, please assemble here, and we'll head over on the boats together.
Rita: We will Master Jean.
We were getting ready to go. Seele had changed back into her Papilio Lily dress.
Theresa checked on Klee.
Klee: Hmm, I need to bring Jumpy Dumpties, Dodoco, and... myself!
Theresa: Klee. About the buoys...
Klee: Dodo-King must have placed those things in the ocean! He's a bad guy!
Theresa: We know he is.
Klee: But I will bravely face him and do my best for Dodoco.
Theresa: So you can protect him.
Klee: Miss Honorary Knight Theresa, thank you for helping me.
Theresa: And about summer...
Klee: I like summer! But not just summer. I also like fall. Oh yes, and I also like spring and winter! Even though winter's very cold, I have Jumpy Dumpty. Whenever I feel cold, I blow something.
Theresa: Yeah...
Durandal checked on Jean.
Jean: What could those buoys possibly mean...?
Durandal: Jean. About this archipelago...
Jean: These islands are isolated from the outside world, like a secret Domain crafted by nature itself.
Durandal: It's a surprise no one has been able to get here.
Jean: We were guided here by the letter and with the assistance of Venti and Dvalin... Everything seems a bit too serendipitous. I'm a little concerned. But I'm here to protect you all, so please don't worry. Come what may, I will face it head-on.
Durandal: You won't have to. Because I am the strongest Valkyrie. I can help keep everyone safe.
Jean: I am still the Acting Grand Master. I must do my duties.
Durandal: So do I. And about your summer clothes...
Jean: Ah... Su—Summer clothes, they're, uh... They were a surprise that Lisa prepared for me. My guess is that it was originally Barbara's suggestion. Barbara said that it's so rare for us to get a chance to come to an island, we should change into summer clothing to set the atmosphere. However, I'm not used to this style of clothing. *sigh* I hope wearing this doesn't look too odd.
Durandal: You're not the only one. I'm quite not used to my summer clothes either. Sometimes Rita asks that I take time off from training but sometimes I refuse.
And Bronya and Seele checked on Barbara.
Barbara: Hmm? Bronya? Seele? Is there anything I can do?
Bronya. Barbara. About this archipelago...
Barbara: I just want to say that the ocean here is beautiful! Sea and sun — a summer dream come true!
Seele: Yes it is. I've been to seaside places with Bronya before but never been to archipelagos.
Barbara: I really want to have a seaside performance! It would be amazing, I just know it!
Seele: So do Liliya and Rozaliya. They want the same thing you do.
Barbara: Do they really?
Bronya: Yes. Next about your summer clothes...
Barbara: How do I look? Not bad, right?
Bronya: Yes. Not bad.
Seele: You are really cute like the rest of us Valkyries.
Barbara: I wanted to surprise everyone, so I specifically chose an outfit complementing an island atmosphere.
Seele: So did we. And it's a good thing too. We had our summer clothes just in case.
Barbara: Oh, but please don't worry! Even if I'm wearing summer clothes, I'm still just as reliable in battle!
Seele: Same here.
When we were ready, we spoke to Jean.
Jean: Have you finished your preparations?
Patrick: Yes.
Aether: I'm ready.
Captain: We're ready to go.
Jean: Great, then let's head to the boat.
We got into the boats and headed for the first one.
Klee: There's one.
Theresa: So, what should we do with it?
Klee: Let's blow it up!
Theresa: Now why would we want to do that?
Klee: Because maybe something might happen.
Theresa: Ok.
When we destroyed it, something was released.
Paimon: It looks like something sunk down to the seabed. Maybe it's the buoy's energy that released when it was destroyed?
Klee: So they really were set up by Dodo-King! Let's keep going!
Then we destroyed the second one.
Klee: We got the second one! Will Dodo-King appear after we break them all?
And then we destroyed the last one. But then the sea started to shake.
Klee: That's the last of them!
Klee: Huh? Is the shaking getting stronger?
Jean: Hurry! Back to shore!
Seele: Leave it to me!
Seele raised her hand and created a wave like a Pokémon using Surf and we got back to shore. We got out of the boats fast onto land.
Jean: This sound...
The shaking got stronger.
Barbara: Whoa, an earthquake!
Rozaliya: You don't think the water will rise do you?
Instead of going up, the water went down to reveal more islands. Actually the land rises up.
Klee: What's happening!?
Finally it stopped.
Paimon: It's a whole bunch of islands!
Seele: More islands?!
Paimon: Ah, what's going on here? This part of the ocean is way too mysterious!
Barbara: This whole stretch of land just rose out of the water!
Patrick: Feels like that episode from "Magic School Bus" of an island rising instantly.
Bronya: And like what Groudon and Regigigas can do.
Klee: Dodo-King, Dodo-King, I'm gonna catch you! Hehe!
Klee ran off and Theresa followed after her. Then the twins did too.
Paimon: Looks like Klee's as energetic as ever.
Jean: Before the ground started shaking, I heard the sound of machinery. I believe there may be an immense mechanical structure under this region of the ocean.
Durandal: So did I. I believe that the culprit must have been behind this. Operating a device that made the islands rise up.
Jean: With the entire archipelago situated on a mechanical framework, it could be activated to raise each island from beneath the water.
Barbara: Something like that would nothing be short of a miracle... Could it be the power of the Anemo Archon, Barbatos?
Paimon: Hmm, probably not.
Bronya: Paimon is right. Barbatos does not have the power to do this.
Paimon: Paimon feels like this is more likely a deliberate set-up...
Jean: It's incredible, no matter how you think of it. Using a letter to draw us here and these challenges involving various mechanisms... This so-called Dodo-King is no amateur.
Aether: I agree with Jean.
Barbara: Aw, there goes the holiday mood...
Seele: Sorry Barbara. But now we must get serious again and stay on guard.
Jean: ... Well, either way, I will do my best to remain vigilant.
Paimon: Wow! Master Jean's so cool when she's determined!
Aether: Paimon and I will also exercise increased caution.
Patrick: The rest of us will do the same thing.
Jean: Thank you for your understanding.
Klee: I found him! It's Dodo-King!
Theresa: Where?!
Klee pointed at one of the islands.
Klee: He's over there on that island! Hee-hee, gotcha!
Klee: You wanted Klee to come find you, so here Klee comes! Jumpy Dumpties, get ready~! Let's go!
Barbara: Is that... a platform in the middle of the ocean?
Jean: Something has appeared. Everyone, we can take a closer look, but please be on guard.
Durandal: Yes Master Jean.
So we sailed over to the platform and saw that it was some kind of giant mask in Japanese style.
Jean: Everyone, please be careful!
Paimon: Huh? Is that a really tall person?
Mei: It's not.
When Sakura saw it she gasped.
Barbara: It resembles a human, but something's not quite right.
Klee: Dodo-King, I see you! You can, uh, Arb... Arbi...
Paimon: Arbitrate!
Klee: Right! You can arbitrate Klee!
Paimon: Ugh! What is this kid saying!?
Jean: She obviously doesn't understand what that word means...
Klee: Hey, Dodo-King! Why are you ignoring me? Is it because I took too long and made you angry? Then... I'm sorry!
Barbara: Huh, and now she's apologizing? I didn't see that coming...
Theresa: Yeah.
Klee: Hello! Dodo-King!
Barbara: It looks like they're not interested in Klee at all.
Jean: It's some kind of humanoid machine. No response... It must be damaged.
Barbara: Oh, do you recognize it?
Jean: No, I can only guess. It looks completely out of place on this island... Look at its clothes. It appears like it came from Inazuma.
Paimon: Inazuma? But isn't that really far away?
Aether: So this machine isn't from around here?
Jean: It would appear so. This area of the sea is independent and does not border any country, so it certainly seems out of place here. But given Inazuma's current situation, how could something like this occur...?
Paimon: An abandoned machine... Weird! Did someone bring it here?
Jean turned to Sakura.
Jean: Sakura do you know what this is?
Sakura: It's called a Maguu Kenki. Kallen and I have fought against them before. They are really dangerous.
Kallen came up.
Kallen: Sakura and I have seen this before while we were in Inazuma.
Sakura: It uses its giant mask to block long ranged attacks. It's controlled why puppet strings. They can give off Anemo and Cryo energy. This is pretty much everything we know about these things.
Klee: Oh no! Dodo-King isn't moving anymore!
Jean: Klee, maybe Dodo-King is tired.
Sakura: Yeah, he can't fight today.
Paimon: Right, right, Dodo-King is probably asleep. He was waiting so patiently for you and then *yawn* — nap time!
Barbara: Let's go with Klee to play elsewhere and come back once Dodo-King wakes up.
Klee: Really?
Barbara: Of course!
Klee: Hm... No, I get it now!
Theresa: What do you get now?
Klee: This isn't Dodo-King. The real Dodo-King is somewhere else.
Jean: Huh? I—Is that right?
Klee: I won't give up. Dodo-King, just wait! We'll find you!
And then Klee runs off. Then Theresa ran after her.
Paimon: And there she goes again... Whew, she's got a lot of spirit.
Barbara: Klee, wait for us!
So we ran after the two little girls then stopped at some stacked stones.
Barbara: Honorary Knights, look here!
Paimon: Huh? What's this?
Barbara: Look at these stacked-up stones and small flowers... It feels like a memorial for someone.
Aether: You're very perceptive.
Bronya: That's a deaconess's intuition, alright!
Barbara blushed.
Barbara: Hey, you're embarrassing me...
Paimon: But the only other thing around here is that machine in Inazuman clothing.
Barbara: Could the memorial be for the machine?
Sakura: No way, it can't be.
Jean: Perhaps it once performed some deed that merited a memorial.
Sakura: Maybe who ever brought it here must have made this memorial for something else.
Barbara: ...
Jean: Everything we've seen here indicates that there was once a human presence in these waters. Still, there isn't enough for us to infer what kind of civilization it was.
Jean: And up to now, we still have yet to see any people or gravestones.
Kallen: Of Castaways.
Klee: Master Jean, can I go over there and have a look?
Jean: Yes, but be careful!
Klee: Okay!
So Klee runs off again this time on her own. Theresa doesn't follow this time.
Aether: How many secrets do these islands hold?
Jean: Klee is too young to have a proper sense of danger. Travelers, the rest of us must stay alert to the situation. Honestly speaking, I thought that letter was only a prank at first.
Theresa: So did I.
Paimon: That's what we thought.
Barbara: I suspected as much too, but who would send a prank letter to a child?
Jean: A letter that guides us to activate mechanisms on a deserted archipelago... It's bizarre. It makes me wonder whether this isn't some kind of trap, long in the making. We must keep our guard up.
Klee: Miss Barbara!
Klee comes back.
Barbara: Klee, what's wrong?
Klee: Do you think that Dodo-King doesn't want to see Klee?
Barbara: Why would the Dodo-King not want to see you, Klee?
Klee: Dodoco loves me, an—and I love Dodoco, so Dodo-King can never separate us. That's why Dodo-King doesn't want to see us... *whimper* Klee doesn't want him to separate us.
Barbara: ...
Barbara smiles then takes out some kind of ball.
Barbara: Hey Klee, do you know what this is?
Klee: It's a harpastum!
Kiana: Thats what a harpastum looks like?!
Barbara: I heard my big sis— Uh, Master Jean say that Klee always wanted to play harpastum, right?
Klee: Yeah! Klee was just thinking about Ludi Harpastum!
Barbara: I made this harpastum especially for you. Now everyday can be Ludi Harpastum, hee-hee!
Klee: Yay!
Everyone smiled.
Aether: The kindness of a deaconess...
Barbara: So keep your chin up, Klee! After we meet Dodo-King, we can all help you convince him to let you and Dodoco stay together.
Bronya: We'll use force if we have to.
Klee: Okay!
Aether: Let's double our efforts. We have to find him.
Klee: Yeah!
Durandal: You have us Klee.
Paimon: Leave it to us Klee. This Dodo-jerk can't hide forever. Even if it takes a thousand years and a thousand searches... uh, w—we'll get him! Ahem... But until then, let's have a good look around the area!
Rita: We have a lot of time to find this Dodo-King, so let's enjoy the days around the archipelago.
(Next Day)
On one of the islands' beaches, Kiana was shooting water guns at Bronya while Bronya had her Project Bunny shoot water from it's cannon.
Kiana: Over here~
Bronya: Target locked!
Kiana: Hehe~ Bring it on!
Kiana jumped higher into the air and created a giant water gun resembling her Gungnir.
Kiana: I've been waiting to do this again! Gungnir, fire!
Bronya: Project Bunny, fire!
Both water blasts met and then exploded a lot of water. Kiana heard Mei scream. She even heard Jean scream but paid more attention to Mei.
Kiana: Shoot! Mei-senpai's still there!
She stopped running and blushed. Sparkles appeared on the scene then the camera switched to Mei who was wet. Theresa and I had taken cover with an umbrella we brought with us.
Mei: I'm fine.
Jean: Same here.
The scene changed to Jean where she was all wet too.
Jean: Now I'm all wet. But I might as well let the sun's heat dry them.
Patrick: This is what happens like last time.
Theresa: Yes.
Mei: Fu Hua, are you alright?
The camera switched to Fu Hua who was also wet.
Fu Hua: Hmm... Ki~a~na~
Kiana: F-F-Fu Hua, I didn't mean it! I'm so sorry!!!
Fu Hua raised her fist then sent a punch then a shockwave that made the water turn into a tidal wave like she was Saitama/One Punch Man.
Kiana: Ahhhhhhh!!!!!
Kiana got washed away by the water wave.
Jean: Are your girls always like this?
Theresa: Sometimes they act like this.
Fu Hua sent another shockwave punch this time at Bronya. But she used her Project Bunny and flew up.
???: AHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Now the camera showed Barbara all wet. A smirk appeared on her face.
Barbara: So that's how you want it...
Barbara shoots water from her hands with musical notes.
Fu Hua got a shocked face but quickly brushed it off then jumped out of the way.
Fu Hua: Oh, you're on~
Fu Hua, Bronya, Kiana, and Barbara were now in competition.
Jean: And there they go.
Underneath another umbrella were Captain and Himeko on beach chairs. Himeko had her sun glasses on. Captain was holding a pair of binoculars.
Himeko: It feels good to kick back and relax on the archipelago.
Captain: Yeah~
Captain had his eyes closed with sparkles around his head. He felt paradise because of girls in summer clothing all around him.
Patrick: Typical Captain.
I suddenly felt someone grab my right hand. I turned and it was Seele in her other dress but without her hat.
Seele: Big Brother. Can you come swimming with me? I've already done it with Big Sister Bronya.
Patrick: Yes of course, Seele.
Seele smiled then embraced me. It warmed my heart. Seele ran off then I unbuttoned my hula shirt, took it off, then ran after her. Seele stopped when she was at shallow water then I caught up to her.
Seele: Hold on.
Seele wrapped her arms around me then engulfed us in water. Then she used Aqua Jet and we dived into the water. Underwater we saw Teyvat's marine life. We held hands. There were a lot of different varieties of fish and sea turtles. We even saw a manta ray. Seele noticed a coral reef and took us there. We saw more different kinds of marine life. The Aqua Jet stopped and now we were swimming normally while holding hands.
???: Mana!
We heard a voice. Then something blue came to us.
It was Manaphy from Pokémon.
It swam around us. Then it spoke through telepathy.
Manaphy: I'm glad that you're giving me an appearance.
Patrick: Of course. I've liked you since seeing your movie on Cartoon Network.
Manaphy: Bye-Bye.
Manaphy swam away.
(Later)
Seele and I sat down next to each other on one of the islands. Seele looked even more cuter.
Patrick in mind: I have to admit that she beautiful with her hair, her eyes, and her voice. She's really matured since being saved from the Sea of Quanta.
Patrick: You know Seele, I've come a long way with Gacha games. I saw ads of "Honkai Impact 3rd" during the late summer of 2018 but didn't play it yet. Then during Global Game Jam 2019 I downloaded "Honkai Impact 3rd" because of that video by RackaRacka when it was sponsored by the game. But before that in September of 2018 I saw that video by RDCworld1 where it was also sponsored by the game. Those were good times I had.
Seele: Then during the winter rhapsody event in the Spring, you met me.
Patrick: Yeah, that was my favorite event in Honkai. Then in November of 2019 I tried "Crossing Void" and then on December of 2019 I played "Azur Lane" after watching it's show. Then on March 2020 The Coronavirus happened and everyone had to stay indoors and wear masks. At the end of March before April I got into "HyperDimension Neptunia" even though it's not a Gacha game but has collaborated with a few Gacha games.
Seele: Let's not forget that during late 2019 you started writing FanFictions.
Patrick: Yeah. I posted the bios and your event story. Moving on, during August of 2020 I tried "Date A Live: Spirit Pledge". Then a month after that I played "Genshin Impact" where we are now. Made by MiHoYo the same people who created you and the Valkyries.
Seele: MiHoYo, they are such great people inspired by "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild".
Patrick: Then during March of 2021 to April I gave other Gacha games a try. Such as "Fate/Grand Order", BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!", and "Epic Seven". And then during May I played "Touhou LostWord" and tried "Fire Emblem Heroes".
Seele: You've come a long way Big Brother. And so have I. In the main storyline of "Honkai Impact 3rd" Bronya and I have grown from just being Lolis into more mature girls.
Patrick: Seele...
Seele: Patrick...
We wrapped around each other's necks as we stared at the wide open ocean.
On another island Sakura watched us while laying down on a chaise underneath an umbrella with another pink haired fox girl in a blue bikini with orange outlines and a large white sun hat.
Sakura: Just look at them. A brother and sister even though they are not blood related.
Tamamo No Mae: Yes. Having siblings is beautiful indeed. And he's finally giving me a guest appearance. After all, we are similar.
Sakura: We are both pink haired fox girls. So we are both related in a few ways.
Tamamo No Mae: When I'm in my blue dress I'm a Caster but when I am in this I'm a Lancer. A lot of male players see me as a Waifu because of a lot of reasons. And I'm in the new "Carnival Phantasm".
???: So am I but there's only been clips of me as a Rider not an Archer.
Ishtar appeared on camera as she hovered down to the ground.
Ishtar: When he started playing FGO he wanted to pull me then thankfully when "Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia" was coming out on Blu Ray, Type-Moon did a Gacha event where the servants who appeared in the Anime were gonna be on Gacha banners. So he grinded for Saint Quartz so he can pull me when I was on the banner and then he finally got me and has been leveling me up and raising my affection.
???: Same here.
Then Altera came on camera.
Altera: The only reason why he liked me was because of "FGO Learning with Manga" with how I was making the fans laugh about only talking about good and bad civilizations.
Kallen: Patrick did give you an appearance thinking that you would think that Khaenri'ah was a bad civilization.
Altera: Of course Khaenri'ah was a bad civilization. Being a nation without a god, becoming more powerful than any nation, and being more powerful than gods is bad civilization. I think Khaenri'ah deserved to be destroyed because it was a nuisance to the gods of Teyvat.
Higokumaru: Moving on.
Higokumaru grabbed the scene from the left and pulled it to reveal a new scene where it showed Captain's point of view with the Binoculars. The sight showed seagulls, then it showed dolphins, then ducks, a whale, the Straw Hat's Thousand Sunny, FGO Francis Drake's Golden Hind, Wailords, a group of Lapras, Kyogre, Godzilla, and lastly looked at the girls playing.
Captain: Pretty sight to look at.
Captain's face was now red and steam came off of his head.
Captain in mind: Just look at those girls playing in the water. All the laughing and movement.
Captain: Like Will Smith would say "Oh that's hot. That's hot."
[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]
???: Really?
Some one blocked the binoculars' vision. Captain took them off to see Durandal.
Durandal: You think that's hot spying on girls while they play like Will Smith would do?
Captain: Uhh...
Captain instantly ran away but Durandal flash steps and catches him.
Durandal: You thought that you could get away from me. You've forgotten how high my levels are.
Rita comes on camera.
Rita: Perhaps you should leave him to me, Durandal-sama.
Durandal: Fine, Rita.
Durandal let Captain go then left him with Rita.
A sparkly background appeared behind Rita.
Rita: Shall we go somewhere else, Captain-sama?
Captain blushed and smiled.
Captain: Yes!
So Rita took Captain's hand and lead him off to somewhere else. The scene changed into another scene where Theresa was building a sand castle with sand toys from the Oath of Judah.
Theresa: Kind of wish that Klee had a summer skin but MiHoYo decided not to give Klee a summer skin, so some people on the Internet did. Like this one.
Theresa: This is fan made not real. No copyright intended. Disclaimer, Patrick does not own this.
???: Theresa!
From around a corner came Klee in a summer skin as shown above and knees down in front of Theresa.
Klee: Tesla and Einstein made it for me. We can play together.
Theresa: Yeah!
For the rest of the day, Klee played with Theresa. They built a large sand castle, ran around the beaches, splashed water on one another, fish blasting, catching fish with Judah's chains, and walked in shallow water laughing.
Jean watched them.
Jean: Klee has been enjoying playing with another little girl since Theresa came back to Mondstadt. Klee doesn't seem to find a lot of kids to play with.
Durandal: The same with Theresa. She doesn't find a lot of kids to play with either. For a long time since she was genetically created from Kallen's DNA, she's kept her childish attitudes and playful little girl self.
Durandal and Jean continued to watch the two little girls play together.
(Later with an eye catch)
It became night as we had returned to the spot where first landed on the dragons. Bronya and Seele were making their seafood chowder from fish, crabs, lobsters, shrimp, shellfish, and clams.
Jean: You cook so well.
Seele: Thank you Master Jean. Bronya and I can cook a lot of things together. We made sure to get rid of all the worms.
Captain was blushing deep red as Rita was sitting down really close to him.
Rita: Enjoying me by your side, Captain-sama~
Captain: I am.
Bronya gave Seele a bowl filled with some of the sea food chowder.
Seele: Here you go Master Jean. You try some.
Seele handed it over to Jean and she took it.
Jean: Thank you, very much, Seele.
Jean tasted it and back ground flowers appeared around her head.
Seele: So? How is it Master Jean?
Jean: It's... it's great...
Seele: I'm glad you like it.
Barbara: I'd like some too.
Paimon: And Paimon!
Klee: And me!
Seele: Coming right up!
Seele and Bronya gave everyone their share of seafood chowder.
Barbara, Kiana, and Paimon had sparkles in their eyes and a pink background from tasting the seafood chowder.
Barbara: I've never ate chowder like this before!
Paimon: Neither have I!
Kiana: I like any chowder!
Seele: This is what the sea tastes like in Teyvat.
Bronya: like back at home.
Once we've finished off the seafood chowder we looked up at the night sky. It was in different colors. Green, blue, and purple.
Seele: It's beautiful. The night sky.
Sakura: it's in color.
Barbara sat closer to Jean.
Seele: The last time Bronya and I watched the night sky look like this was when we stopped at a beach where we watched the stars. It was a beautiful time we had together as sisters.
Barbara: I've always wanted to do something like this with my sister for a long time.
Klee: Klee wishes that mom was here to watch this.
Kiana: So do I. I wish that my mother and father were here to watch this.
Theresa: It's not often I get to enjoy something like this with my girls and two boys.
Captain: That's us.
Mei: It's great that we're all together watching the night sky.
Patrick: Back home my family owns an old cottage where we go up on vacation to enjoy the waters and being together with family. I remember the times we looked up at the night sky where we looked up at the stars, the moon, and the shooting stars.
Kiana: I lived in a winter cabin with my father before he disappeared on me and I had to travel around different countries looking for him. Then I found my Auntie, Theresa.
Theresa: And I found my niece, Kiana.
Captain: What about you, Aether? Did you and Lumine ever look up at the night sky together?
Aether: Yes. Every time we traveled from one world to another, we've looked up at the night sky together.
Jean: I am thankful for this moment with everyone. It's great that we are all together.
Barbara: Yes Master Jean. My big sister. It's great that we are all together.
Jean blushes from Barbara's comment.
Jean: We are together. My little sister.
Barbara blushes then wraps her arms around her big sister.
Klee: Tomorrow we find Dodo-King!
Jean: We must be getting some rest soon. We have to be up and early.
Durandal: I agree.
The camera zoomed out then pointed up at the night sky which then transitioned to morning.
(Next morning)
Then the camera pointed down on the top of the island.
Aether was waking up.
???: Honorary Knight...! Honorary Knight!
Aether opened his eyes to see Barbara back in her normal clothing.
Aether: Huh...?
Barbara: You're awake! Morning! Did you have a good rest?
Aether: Huh? Barbara, you're...?
Jean: Good Morning, Traveler.
Then Jean came along back in her normal clothing too. Then came Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, Theresa, and me. We were all back in our normal clothing.
Paimon: Jean, your clothes!
Aether: Barbara, did you change back?
Barbara: Mm-hmm, my big sist— Ahem! M—Master Jean said that this whole situation is more than we bargained for. Even if it feels like a vacation destination, our primary objective is to protect everyone. For safety, we changed back into our original clothes. I guess it does dampen the summery feel a little...
Aether: Jean, why did you change back?
Jean: Well, this is a complex and evolving situation, so we should be ready for any eventuality. For security reasons, we changed back into more combat-ready attire. Even though it may not allow us to make the most of the surroundings... My apologies.
Barbara: Don't apologize, it's in everyone's best interest!
Theresa: We had to change back too. But after all this is settled, we'll change back into our summer attires. Captain was really disappointed. The others went down below waiting for us.
Kiana: Yeah. We have fought in our summer attires before but we feel like fighting in our normal attires is much more better and more stylish when fighting.
Paimon: Well, that certainly takes the fun out of things... *sigh* Back to work already. Ladies and gentlemen, the Knights of Favonius Acting Grand Master.
Aether: Impressive willpower. Good job, Jean.
Jean: You're too kind. Actually, I think we could learn a lot more from your talents. That's why we can place so much trust in you.
Barbara: We didn't want to wake you, but I noticed some white smoke coming from one of the other islands. I think it'd be best if we went and investigated it together.
Klee: It must be Dodo-King!
Theresa: Thats what I think so too.
Paimon: *sigh* Even Paimon's starting to believe that this Dodo-King might actually show up...
Jean: I'm also keen to lay eyes on this so-called Dodo-King. All of you, follow me. Let's investigate.
So we took our wind gliders and glided down to the others.
Durandal: Took you long enough.
Jean: Sorry, but now everyone is awake. Let's go.
We took the boats and went on over to the island where the smoke was coming from. When we got there, we saw two figures.
Paimon: Look, there are two figures over there! Hmm... Huh? It looks like...
Himeko: Kaeya and Diluc.
There were Kaeya and Diluc. They noticed and turned around.
Diluc: ...
Kaeya: ...
Paimon: What the heck are they doing here!?
Theresa: And how did they get here?!
Klee: It's Kaeya and the weird grown-up!
Kaeya: Huh! I had no idea we'd run into you here. An unexpected pleasure.
Jean: What are you two doing here?
Durandal: How did you two get here.
Barbara: Huh? So it's not Dodo-King?
Bronya: It's not.
Diluc: Hmm. Dodo-King... huh.
Kaeya: So it was Dodo-King who invited you to these islands. What a coincidence.
Jean: What do you mean?
Kiana: How do you know?
Kaeya: I'll get to that. But first, I want to enjoy some of this island sunshine. Master Diluc might actually get a tan.
Paimon: Wait, did you two sail here? How did you get past the storms and fog?
Durandal: Thats what we all want to know.
Kaeya: Storms and fog? We must've gotten lucky. When we arrived here, there wasn't a single patch of fog in sight. Now it feels like I'm on vacation. But as you know, a boat wouldn't have made it over. We had no choice but to use the same method of transport as you did.
Paimon: Eh!? You mean Dvalin carried you over here, too!?
Diluc: You seem surprised. Dragon flights are a fairly conspicuous affair. Eye-catching, one could say.
Patrick: We're used to riding dragons.
Jean: Wait, so everyone found out that I...?
Diluc: It would seem that people noticed a dragon, but not necessarily a cargo. Still, word spread quickly that a dragon was in town. Then people saw two dragons fly.
Jean: Phew, thank goodness.
Kaeya: Who knew that everyone's favorite bard had the power to summon dragons like Patrick here?
Patrick: Yeah, it's really impressive and great to have the power to summon dragons and other types of beasts.
Aether in mind: Oh jeez, has he discovered that Venti is...
Kaeya: I guess Dvalin must be a die-hard fan of classical ballads...
Barbara: Wow!
Jean: Hehe...
Kiana: Yeah, you could say something like that.
Mei: Yeah, very funny.
Jean: I—I assume you two traveled here together?
Kaeya: Hahaha, you assume? The Acting Grand Master's jokes have improved as of late. Do we seem like fitting travel companions to you?
Diluc: Ugh.
Seele: Not really. Fire and Ice don't mix well. Especially with Water.
Kaeya: There were actually two others that arrived with us on the island. They wandered off, for various reasons.
Jean: Various reasons?
Kaeya: Let's just say that big egos aren't conductive to team cohesion...
Aether: You mean they abandoned you.
Kaeya: Hahahaha, an incisive observation. Nothing ever gets past the Honorary Knights.
Paimon: So who were the two others?
Diluc: Albedo and Razor.
Paimon: Huh!?
Theresa: Those two?!
Klee: Albedo and Razor? Yay!
Paimon: Don't tell us you all came here for a vacation!
Jean: Wait. Kaeya, if you're here, then who is is overseeing the Knights of Favonius?
Kaeya: The mighty Librarian, Lisa, of course.
Kaeya: Not to worry. In some ways, she's stricter than either of us. Any evildoers in Mondstadt need to watch out for the next several days.
Bronya: Or else they will get electrocuted by her.
Jean: Thankfully Lisa's there... Um, where did Albedo and Razor go?
Barbara: Also, what was that white smoke I just saw?
Kaeya: Ah yes, that... I should start with how we ended up here... We arrived by dragon, but as soon as we entered the island's vicinity, something caught Razor's eye. He jumped straight off of the dragon's back and vanished into the ocean. We worried that he'd be in danger, so we also leaped off the dragon and glided onto this island. But, as you can see, this is but a deserted land. Based on previous experience, I decided that it would be best to wait for contact, while Diluc believed that Razor wouldn't return to find us. During our little dispute, Albedo quietly disappeared on us.
Aether: How characteristic of him.
Paimon: Hold on! How come he was able to walk off but you two are stuck here?
Kaeya: Hahaha... Who knows, perhaps we're fated to be doomed together. Right, Master Diluc?
Some of the Valkyries laughed.
Diluc: Ugh... is that so.
Kaeya: Albedo is an alchemist and skilled at his craft. If I could use those beautiful artificial flowers of his, it would be a simple affair to traverse these islands.
Diluc: For some reason, I remember that our initial landing zone was the island over there with the higher mountains. Only at your insistence did we change course and land here.
Kaeya: Oh my, but your footsteps melted the water that I took such effort to freeze. Who made Cryo and Pyro so incompatible? If you had a Geo Vision, I'd be long asleep on one of the other islands.
Barbara: Oh, so what I saw earlier was just steam from vaporized water?
Paimon: Paimon still can't tell if you guys are really close or hate each other's guts...
Barbara: R—Regardless, things seem to be livelier now, which is good.
Jean: Yes, it's a boon to have extra allies in an unknown situation. You two, please join our travels.
Diluc: Sure.
Kaeya: But of course.
Himeko: As long as you both get along.
Jean: Our top priority is to find Albedo and Razor. Do you know which direction they went?
Diluc: For now, it's impossible to locate Razor. As for Albedo, he went that way.
Paimon: Then there's no time to lose, let's go look for him!
So we took the boats to the Twinning Isle where Albedo was and began looking for him.
Paimon: This island is really big... Where could he be?
Aether: Albedooo!
Kiana: ALBEDOOO!
Tesla and Einstein: Albedooo!
Tesla-Zero: Albedooo!
Klee: Mr. Albedooo!
The party walks around the island in search of Albedo.
Paimon: Albedooo! Come ouuut!
???: Hm? Is that the Traveler and Paimon? And the St Freya Knights and Valkyries with their other companions?
Albedo came out of hiding.
Paimon: Whoa, he just came outta nowhere behind us!
Klee: Mr. Albedo!
Albedo: Hello everyone, hello Klee. I thought that we might convene around this time.
Kaeya: I trust you enjoyed your stroll? How kind of you to maroon us on that neighboring island.
Albedo: Please, don't mention it. I felt that the two of you could do with some alone time.
Jean: Albedo, why did you come here?
Albedo: I received a letter.
Kaeya: On the way over, the four of us shared what we knew. A mysterious letter appeared outside each of our doors.
Diluc: They were all signed, Dodo-King.
Theresa: Like our letter.
Kaeya: Anyone else find it hard not to crack a smile when Master Diluc says "Dodo-King"?
Albedo: Everyone's letter was different, and yet all of them drew us to this archipelago.
Aether: What did the letters say?
Albedo: My letter was very simple: "I have Klee. If you wish to see her, come to the Golden Apple Archipelago."
Paimon: That's blackmail! Dodo-King's trying to coerce you!
Albedo: Correct. It would appear that I have been successfully coerced.
Theresa: Saying that Dodo-King kidnapped Klee. How disgusting!
Kaeya: My letter was similarly straightforward. "Among the deserted islands you will find a sunken pirate ship. Within lies great treasure and long-lost antique vases of incredible rarity." Haha, it would appear that someone came to learn of the circumstances surrounding the eyepatch that my grandfather left me.
Paimon: Classic Kaeya. Does anyone have a clue what he's talking about?
Patrick: It's like what happened last time when we caught treasure hoarders faking a treasure.
Paimon: Anyway, so what's your story, Diluc?
Diluc: "There is an Abyss Order stronghold among the deserted islands. Make haste."
Kaeya: You have to admire their strategy. The right bait for the right fish.
Patrick: Like how most people get competitive.
Paimon: So strange, they're all personalized... But why did Dodo-King gather everyone here?
Fu Hua: That is a good question. Why?
Jean: *sigh* This is indeed a mysterious case.
Diluc: I never trusted the letter to begin with.
Kaeya: Yes, it would appear that the grown-ups among us came here primarily to understand what was behind the curtain.
Barbara: Oh! Didn't Razor get a letter too?
Kaeya: He did, though he couldn't read it. A certain kindhearted, cat-eared gentleman that he encountered on the way over was able to relay the contents to him.
Jean: A kindhearted cat-eared gentleman... On the way over...
Paimon: Oh! Paimon knows, Paimon knows! It must be Draff, right?
Sakura: It must have been him.
Kaeya: The content of Razor's letter was no more complex: "The red, burny girl has gone to the islands. She needs help."
Diluc: Having heard the contents of the letters, it became abundantly clear that something wasn't right.
Diluc: I don't believe this so-called Dodo-King exists. But there is someone or something with a reason for luring us here together.
Klee: No, no! Dodo-King is real! He's... He's Dodo-King!
Diluc: ...If you say so.
Albedo: Something caught Razor's attention on the journey over, or he wouldn't have leaped from the dragon's back. I've examined this island. His footprints are nowhere to be found, and there's no sign of a boat having left. Based on our position and bearing when he made the jump... if he didn't land here, then he must've made his way over there.
Aether: That platform!
Albedo: You've already been there?
Sakura: Yes.
Paimon: We were there a few days ago. There was a mysterious machine. Jean and Sakura said that it came from Inazuma.
Albedo: Could that be what caught Razor's attention?
Sakura: I think it was.
Jean: Everyone, let's head to the central platform.
We took the boats again and headed to the central platform where we met Razor.
Paimon: Look! Over there!
Klee: Razor!
Razor: Everyone. I am here.
Jean: Razor, are you okay?
Barbara: Are you hurt? Do you need healing?
Razor: No need. Okay.
Aether: What are you doing here?
Razor: I... smelled something.
Razor held something.
Razor: This, give to you.
Paimon: What's this? Is this a part of the machine?
Razor: Clear smell... Same as letter.
Diluc: Razor did mention that his letter had a peculiar smell.
Paimon: You sure have a great sense of smell, Razor. *gasp* Did Dodo-King factor that in, too?
Razor: Also, this one and that one. *sniff* Same smell.
Albedo: Oh?
Razor: This thing... Put inside metal person. Same. Here.
Razor hands Aether the metal thing.
Aether: You want me to do it?
Razor: Yes! I... don't understand how... Traveler is clever... Razor trusts.
Klee: Yeah! Klee trusts the Honorary Knight too...
Theresa: And us too.
Diluc: Not so fast! We need to think this through. What will happen if we reinsert the missing component?
Sakura: He's right. If we reinsert the missing component, it could attack us. I've seen enough of these things from experience to understand.
Jean: This Inazuman machine could well be something that Dodo-King left here for us to find... and activate.
Barbara: It might reawaken Dodo-King himself!
Kaeya: Then we will be ready for him. Honorary Knight, prepare yourself.
Paimon: Klee really wanted to meet Dodo-King. That's why we came here, right, Aether?
Aether: You're right... Let's do this.
Sakura: I will follow behind.
Sakura followed Aether and Paimon to the Maguu Kenki and when the part was installed, the machine started to activate. Strings appeared above it. The giant mask opened up to reveal the full form of the boss. Then it drew out its sword.
Paimon: Wait! Did... D—Did it move!?
Klee: Wow! Moving, it's moving!
Sakura: And it's going to attack!
The Maguu Kenki summons it's large oni mask in front of it before pushing it forward to deal damage but Sakura flash steps out of the way. Sakura appears in front the Maguu Kenki attempting to cut it but it blocks her attack with her sword. Sakura sees Aether charging in and strikes the Maguu Kenki from behind with his sword.
Aether: Windblade!
Then he attacks with a wind blade. Both jump back before it could slash them both. Sakura covers her sword with fire then charges with a dash slashing through the boss. When she sheathes her sword, the machine explodes with fire.
Diluc: That fox girl is really fast.
Razor: So swift.
Kallen: She is a Shrine Maiden. I've known her longer than any of my fellow Valkyries after being in a time loop curse with me for 500 years.
The Maguu Kenki summoned an oni mask around Sakura but before it exploded, Sakura triggers a time fracture to evade the mask before it exploded on her. The machine sent another oni mask at her but she dashes past it then covers her sword with lightning and slashes through the machine again. Aether followed up with a combo slash.
Sakura: Time to finish this.
Sakura got into a lai stance and so did the Maguu Kenki as they both charged up their attacks.
Sakura: Crimson Naraka!
Sakura and the Maguu Kenki dash towards one another then pass through from after slashing at each other then stop at different sides. They both sheath their swords and waited to see who was the one who got hurt.
...
...
...
Finally...
Sparks came off the Maguu Kenki and it collapsed. Then Sakura drew out her sword again and dashes through the Maguu Kenki several times before she stops. When she sheathed her sword, the Maguu Kenki explodes.
Paimon: Phew, finally...
Sakura: It's over.
Klee: Look! What's that?
Sakura: Huh?
Jean: Are those crystals?
On the ground we're three crystals. Red, Blue, and Yellow.
Aether: We should ask the expert.
Albedo: Let's hope your faith in me is not misplaced. Before we get to the crystals, why don't we start with the machine itself?
Sakura: Yes, we should.
Albedo: Our previous conjecture was correct. This giant in Inazuman attire is a machine modeled on the human form. Sakura says she, Kallen, and Higokumaru have seen these types of machines before.
Paimon: Was it built for fighting? Like Ruin Guards?
Sakura: Yes. They were built for fighting like Ruin Guards.
Albedo: I'm afraid so too. It possesses significant combat capabilities, and seems to be autonomous... But for it to attack us indiscriminately like this, I believe it must have been damaged some time ago. Its outward appearance and Sakura's knowledge confirms its Inazuman origin.
Jean: But... as far as I know, Inazuma is still under the Sakoku Decree. How could such a massive piece of offensive weaponry have found its way here?
Albedo: It seems the answer to that question disappeared with the people that used to inhabit this archipelago.
Klee: People?
Albedo: I'm sure the shrewdest among you have already come to the same conclusion. These deserted islands bear signs of human activity.
Einstein: Thats what we thought.
Tesla: After investigating the structures on the islands.
Albedo: I would go so far as to infer that this archipelago once held a human population. They were most likely visitors from elsewhere — not indigenous to the islands. They may have spent a long time here before finding a way to return home. Since then, the island has been empty, with only a few scattered remnants of the past.
Sakura: And the crystals?
Albedo: As for the crystals... hmm. They've been manufactured from a particularly rare type of ore... transparent... I believe they must have a specific function.
Kallen: What kind of function?
Paimon: We found a pile of stones and small flowers nearby. Do you think there's any connection?
Albedo: It sounds like someone wanted to commemorate the machine.
Barbara: Yes, I had a look at it myself. How can I put it... It almost feels like someone left a heartfelt offering of... gratitude.
Albedo: Hmm, I see. What about the rest of you? Who do you think would want to commemorate a machine in this way?
Kaeya: Perhaps someone who was truly grateful. Only people that had benefited directly from the machine would leave a memorial like this.
Albedo: If the machine co-existed with that first group of humans, then the memorial isn't so hard to understand. Of course, this is only a hypothesis.
Barbara: Co-existed... You mean, before it became damaged? I wonder what exactly happened to it.
Diluc: Hmm... There is a hilichurl presence here. Perhaps this machine's indiscriminate attack is actually supposed to be targeted at hilichurls... to protect the inhabitants.
Kaeya: An unlikely coincidence, I would've thought. In any case, this is all speculation. If we want to get to the bottom of it, we'll need more evidence.
Jean: Yes, though we don't have any clues to go on... We should sweep the area again soon. But first, let's focus our attention on the problem at hand.
Klee suddenly noticed something else by the crystals.
Klee: Look! Another letter! It must be Dodo-King!
Paimon: A letter? Quick, read it!
Klee picked up the letter and read it out loud.
Klee: "Mysterious Dodo-King, mysterious Dodo-King, he sleeps alone on the southwesterly isle. The bad child made him wait too long, the days grow dark, the stars are rising. Greedy spirit, greedy spirit, you made the moon run a ring. Keys of three colors guarded by a strange fish, the secret lies here, do you dare to proceed?"
Jean: More cryptic riddles?
Aether: He's trying to tell us something.
Barbara: What could it mean... does it have anything to do with those crystals?
Bronya: Maybe it does.
Kaeya: And also... "southwesterly isle"..? Now, which island would that be?
Diluc: I'd say it's about time we went and investigated instead of standing here making wild guesses.
Paimon: We've looked all over these islands, but there's nothing interesting here...
Klee: There is, too! The island over there is really weird. It has a big huge round thingy on it!
Theresa: Yeah, this island with a water dome over it.
Jean: Klee, did you go off by yourself without authorization again?
Klee: Oh, sorry. I just wanted to go for a walk...
Albedo: As long as you didn't activate any mechanisms.
Einstein: Tesla and I saw it too.
Tesla: We took a boat to investigate it and couldn't figure out how to get through it.
Tesla-ZERO: Even my rocket fists wouldn't break through it.
Jean: *sigh* Even if it seems completely empty here, it's easy to run into danger when you're by yourself. Klee, next time you want to go anywhere, please tell me first, okay? We'll go together. How does that sound?
Klee: I thought Master Jean is always busy with other things... You really mean it?
Jean: Of course.
Klee: Yay! Okay!
Diluc: *sigh* Where does she get the energy...
Paimon: If Paimon didn't know better, Paimon would think that Jean was Klee's mother!
Kaeya: You know, I had the exact same thought just now.
Jean: Kaeya...
Kaeya: Haha, my apologies, Acting Grand Master. Honorary Knights, let's go and take a look.
We got in the boats and headed to the island with the water dome.
Paimon: Huh? Is this a shield? Hmm, it doesn't look very solid though...
Diluc: Seems like some kind of energy shield.
Patrick: Made of water.
Seele: With Hydro energy.
Kaeya: Careful. All of you. Don't touch it. It might send us flying for all we know.
Jean: ...
Klee: Big shield, big shield! Hmph, Klee knows you're in there!
Klee: Hey, Dodo-King! It's me! Klee! Come out and face me!
Aether: Yeah! Come out and face her! You hear!?
Theresa: That's right you big jerk! Come out here and show yourself!
Kiana: Yeah! Take down this shield you villain!
Silence.
Paimon: No answer... Maybe he's not here.
Klee: No! He's gotta be here!
Theresa: He's most likely hiding in there!
Klee: The bigger the shield, the badder the Dodo-King must be!
Paimon: Sounds like Klee logic to Paimon...
Barbara: I think Klee's right. It's such a huge energy shield. There must be some reason for it to be here.
Albedo: A reasonable inference. I agree.
Jean: An energy shield needs an energy source. If we can find the connected devices to the source, we should be able to destroy it. Let's all look for any potential devices in the vicinity.
Klee: Ready... Steady... Dadada!
And then Klee runs off by herself again.
Theresa: Not again!
Theresa runs after Klee.
Jean: Klee! Walk, don't run!
Paimon: Come on, you don't wanna finish last place, do ya, guys? Let's go!
We ran after the two lolis till they stopped when they saw three mysterious devices.
Klee: Quick! Look, look!
Paimon: Hmm... This does look like it could have something to do with the shield...
Jean: Three devices in total. And look, the light converges in one place.
Albedo, are we able to deactivate the shield from here?
Albedo: Hmm... These light-emitting devices each have a small frame in front of them. Looking at the shape here, it seems like something is supposed to be fixed in place.
Paimon: What shape is that?
Klee: Um, I don't get it! Someone explain...
Diluc: An oblong circle... Fan-shaped, I suppose.
Valkyries: Fan shaped?
Kaeya: Hmm, what could it be... We're by the ocean... This shape is a seashell, perhaps?
Barbara: But all the shells we've seen were either bigger or smaller than this shape...
Kaeya: If it's not a shell, then it's got to be... Ah — a fish scale.
Paimon: A fish scale? But why would we want to put a fish scale there?
Jean: Are there any other clues around?
Albedo: Whatever it is, we'd be placing it into the frames in front of the light-emitting device... which means...
Aether: ...It would have to be transparent?
Paimon: Right!
Jean: I've never seen anything like this...
Barbara: So that's what they're for...
Diluc: If I'm not mistaken, this is a very particular type of installation. Light is integral to its function. I've seen similar designs elsewhere. The light has to meet certain requirements or emit on a specific path. The mechanism is only activated if the light conditions are met.
Kaeya: It would appear that these three installations are the keys to activating the energy shield.
Albedo: Would you look at that... The light being emitted is white, but the installations themselves each have their own color: red, blue, and yellow.
Razor: Yes, just like the letter.
Paimon: "Keys of three colors guarded by a strange fish"!
Kaeya: Huh, that's right.
Barbara: Honorary Knights, didn't that big machine we just defeated drop something?
Aether: Yes... three crystals.
Sakura: Red, Blue, and Yellow crystals.
Barbara: Light red like flower petals, light blue like ocean waves, light yellow like autumn leaves...
Diluc: It looks like these three crystals might be the answer to this whole riddle.
Jean: Give precious things to the "greedy spirit" in the sea... Is that what we have to do?
Seele: I think so. Place the crystals in the water and something might come.
Jean: If my understanding is correct... Honorary Knights, I suggest that you place the crystals in the sea.
Jean: I believe that this "greedy spirit" is most likely an ocean-dwelling fish. If the crystals do attract it to us, then we're a step closer to obtaining our fish scales.
Paimon: So that's the plan! In that case, Paimon's got something to say!
We listened to Paimon.
Paimon: On the way over, Paimon saw a huge conch shell with lots of fish swimming around it.
Tesla-ZERO: We saw it too.
Paimon: If we're placing the crystals in the sea, then surely that's the best place to do it! Plus, the water is pretty shallow over there — it'll be easy to get the crystals back if the plan doesn't work.
Klee: It will work! Don't jinx it!
Paimon: Okay, okay it'll work! Everyone, follow Paimon!
So we followed Paimon to the giant conch shell.
Kiana: Wow! It's really huge!
Patrick: I've seen giant shaped things made of rock. But never a giant conch shell.
Aether places the crystals at a location near the conch.
Paimon: That should do it, right?
Theresa: Right.
Paimon: But... where are the fish?
Theresa: I don't know.
Barbara: Klee, was there anything else in that letter?
Klee: Uh... Um... What was it...
Jean: "Greedy spirit, greedy spirit, you made the moon run a ring..."
Aether: "...the days grow dark, the stars are rising."
Barbara: So... maybe this type of fish only comes out after dark?
Diluc: Or to put it another way, we're gonna be here all night... Hmph.
Captain: Looks like we're going to have to wait.
Fu Hua: And do other things in the mean time.
Razor: Catch fish... eat.
Klee: Yeah! Yeah! Let's go fish blasting!
Razor: *grunt*
Jean: Hold on, Klee...
Klee: Will Master Jean come too? Jean said if Klee wants to go anywhere, she must tell Jean, and then we can go together! Right?
Jean: ...Yes, I did say that. *sigh* Alright then... Time to go fish blasting with Klee.
Paimon: Is Paimon hearing things? Jean and Klee are gonna go fish blasting!?
Klee: It's way worth it! The fish will taste sooo goood!
Jean: This is a deserted island, so explosions shouldn't trouble anyone... It's just a bit of relaxation, right?
Theresa: We're not in Mondstadt now or Starfell Lake, so fish blasting is authorized.
Klee: Find some fish, find some fish! Let's go!
Razor: There... many fish.
Klee: Klee's gonna get there first!
Klee runs off then Razor and Theresa chase after her.
Jean: Wait! Wait!
Paimon: Well, there they go...
Jean: Well... if Razor is going, then I suppose it's fine. Once everyone is settled in, I will go after them.
Kaeya: Is it time for a break already? Fantastic, I was just thinking about taking a stroll.
Paimon: Meaning... You're off on another pirate treasure hunt?
Kaeya: Haha, who knows? These are big islands... there are bound to be more than a few secrets hidden away.
Kiana: Go ahead. There are lots of chests that haven't been found yet and chests to appear after defeating monsters.
Kaeya: Captain Kaeya's on the case!
Diluc: Ugh...
Paimon: Master Diluc, aren't you interested in pirate treasure?
Diluc: Hardly. I'm more interested in peace and quiet.
Paimon: Paimon doesn't think you'll settle for nothing to do...
Diluc: Amuse yourselves however you see fit. I'm taking my leave.
Diluc leaves.
Paimon: For a bunch of grown-ups, they really can't sit still for more than a few seconds. So restless!
Himeko: Yeah. That's how they are.
Paimon: At least Albedo's able to sit and enjoy the... Eh!? Albedo!?
Aether: He left ages ago...
Barbara: Albedo said that he wanted to spend some time alone painting.
Bronya: Tesla, Einstein, and their ELF went to go study the islands more.
Paimon: Jeez, what's up with everyone!? Seems like we're all overdue for a vacation!
Jean: It's not often that we get a taste of island living, I'm not surprised that everyone wants some time to themselves.
Seele: Yes. And I better go too. I'm gonna find another giant octopus and take its tentacles to make some Takoyaki.
Seele uses Aqua Jet and flies away.
Durandal: I'm gonna go work out.
Durandal disappears in an instant.
Liliya and Rozaliya ran off to go playing somewhere.
Jean: Everyone should enjoy the break while it lasts! I'll convene everyone when the fish arrives. I suppose we have to let our focus drift a little... but at the end of the day, you can't deny that this ocean view really is something. Travelers, make sure you take a little time to enjoy yourself, too.
Aether: Thanks, Jean. You're the best.
Jean: No, I... I was just... ... What I mean is... I hope you enjoy yourself here. Like everyone else. No matter what is waiting for us down the line, I will protect everyone... especially Klee. This is my duty as the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius.
Paimon: That's Jean for you, always reliable.
Aether: You're a very hardworking person. I hope you can get some proper rest here.
Himeko: We hope so too.
Kiana: You don't want to repeat like what happened last time~
Jean: Travelers... Thank you. It is nice to of you say so. Anyway, I hope we can all find moments of peace and happiness on this beach.
(Meanwhile back in Mondstadt)
Lisa was now the one in Jean's office.
Lisa: Hmmm. Both Jean and Kaeya are absent... How peculiar. But rather than suddenly embarking on some journey. I much prefer to stay in the office and read while I work.
(Next morning)
Paimon: The sun's rising. It should be about time to check on the fish. Let's meet up with everyone first!
We got back to the area where Jean, Barbara, and Klee were waiting.
Barbara: Honorary Knights, over here!
Aether: How are the fish?
Kiana: Did they finally arrive?
Jean: As we suspected, they were drawn to the crystal.
Klee: Catchy catchy fish!
Paimon: Ah! No, no!
Theresa: Klee no!
Theresa grabbed Klee.
Theresa: Don't fish blast this time!
Paimon: To keep Klee from blowing up the fish to pieces, perhaps it'd be better to let us catch the fish. After all, we're experts at collecting all manner of wildlife!
Aether got to collecting the fish.
Paimon: That's one! We got two now. Just one more to go! And that's all of them! We should have all the fish scales now!
Theresa: That was a close one.
We approached the device where Kaeya, Diluc, Albedo, and Razor were waiting at.
Theresa: Looks like all that's left is to place the fish scales and the water dome should open.
Klee: Mr. Honorary Knight, are you going to place the fish scales?
Aether: Yup.
Klee: Too bad I can't reach that high...
Aether: Then I'll be your helping hand. When you say "Now," I'll place it, alright?
Klee: Okay! But actually... I don't really understand this part. So if you place them for me, it'll be fine! I trust you!
Paimon: Then we'll place the fish scales and let Klee activate the final and most important mechanism.
Klee: Okie dokie! I'm going to finally see you, Dodo-King! Hee-hee, time to see what you really look like!
Jean: I must say, Klee's incredibly excited.
Theresa: She really is.
Klee: You can do it, Mr. Honorary Knight! I'm cheering for you! Yay!
So Aether placed the fish scales on the three devices on the right colors.
Paimon: Klee!
Aether: We've finished placing the scales.
Klee: Yay, amazing! Hehehe, it's my turn now, right?
Theresa: Yes it is.
Paimon: Yep, we'll leave that mechanism over there to you, Klee!
Klee: Okay!
Aether: Klee.
Klee: Huh?
Aether: Please make sure you stay safe.
Theresa: We'll go with you.
Klee: Yep, I got it!
Klee: ...
Klee stepped over to the button but stopped.
Barbara: Klee, what's wrong?
Klee: I—I'm worried... What if Dodo-King really is in here? And what if he doesn't allow me to become Dodoco's family, or if I lose to him... Then Dodoco can't be with me, and Mom will be very sad too... Dodoco is my bestest friend that Mom ever gave me. I—I'm too scared to press it...
Albedo: ...
Klee: Honorary Knights, can you press the button for me?
Aether: Klee, I can't help you press it.
Theresa: He's right, we can't.
Klee: Why?
Aether: Because we have to hold our weapons.
Aether: This way, we can protect you.
Theresa: But don't worry, I'll stay close to you.
Jean: Yes, we're all here for you.
Paimon: Don't worry Klee, we've all got your back!
Kaeya: No matter who the enemy is, as long as we're here, you don't have to be afraid.
Diluc: Perfect, I also want to see how strong the enemies on this island really are.
Razor: Go. I'm here.
Barbara: Guys, don't say things like that... What if Dodo-King just wants to invite Klee to his house to chat? Or yes, maybe he already approves of Klee!
Klee: Will he really approve of me?
Albedo: Why wouldn't he? You've always tried your best and have done a good job.
Klee: Really?
Theresa: Klee, you're our favoritest friend.
Aether: He will approve of you, I know it.
Klee: ...Alright! Leave this to me! Press, press... press the button!
Klee pressed the button then the bubble shield slowly opened up and dispersed and revealed a lot of beach stuff. In Dodoco style and red colors.
Diluc: Hm?
Kaeya: Huh?
Theresa: What is all this?
Klee got excited.
Klee: Yayyy!!! Dadada!
Klee ran over to the stuff. We followed.
Jean: Huh, this is... Wait, I must be confused. What is this!?
Theresa: It looks like all this was left by Dodo-King.
Barbara: Whoa, this entire island is like a massive gift box hidden beneath the energy shield...
Patrick: But without wrapping paper and ribbons.
Albedo: There seems to be something over there. Shall we take a look?
Klee: Yes, I wanna look!
The group approaches the phonograph.
We had the phonograph play.
Dodo-King: Wicked girl of flame, you have finally arrived. I've waited far too long — how very boring! You dare face me, the overlord of the Dodo Clan, Dodo-King!? Such glorious courage!
Theresa: Wait. Dodo-King is female? Why isn't she called Dodo-Queen?
Dodo-King: Though such courage is admirable, but it is now meaningless because...
Alice: Because Dodo-King is me, your mother, Alice!
Klee: Huh? Mom!?
Theresa: Alice!?
Paimon: Wait! Alice? The person who wrote the Teyvat Travel Guide!?
Patrick: So this is what Alice sounds like.
Alice: Klee and her fellow islanders, hey there! So, how did you like it here? Was it fun? Summer skies and the ocean surf, mmm~ Quite the vacation, no?
Kiana: Well we were suspicious at first but we did have some fun here. So it was kind of quite the vacation.
Alice: There's no use looking for me, I'm not actually near you. The speaking device on the platform before you is none other than my personal creation, the Alice Phonograph! I'm using it to convey a mother's love!
Kaeya: Uh, you can't be serious...
Durandal: What a waste. Nobody to fight.
Bronya: And Nobody to use my HOMU-King on.
Alice: Hey, I didn't scare you all off, did I? Sorry, my Klee loves playing with all sorts of small toys. As her mother, I naturally want to support her.
Theresa: Well you did scare her and me. She was scared that she was going to lose Dodoco but everything is alright now.
Paimon: These toys aren't small at all!
Theresa: They're big!
Razor: Klee's... M—Mother?
Alice: It's a pity that I can't meet you, but I'll be watching your every move from afar, just as always.
Jean: It was actually Alice! How careless of me...
Barbara: Wait, what?
Alice: You might find all of this a bit odd. Why would a mother so far from home expend so much effort to create such an aquatic wonderland?
Mei: Because you've been to these islands before?
Alice: Ding ding ding! That's correct, I've personally been to those islands. I absolutely adore the ancient ruins and unique landscape. I prepared everything so you all could take part and enjoy the islands as well.
Paimon: Klee's mother also seems to have quite the free spirit...
Alice: Hehe, are any of you saying bad things about me now?
Paimon: Huh? N—No! Is she listening to us?
Theresa: It's a recording, she's not.
Jean: No need to be so troubled.
Paimon: What do you mean?
Albedo: Klee's mother, Alice, is an extremely enigmatic and near-omnipotent sorceress. Don't be overly concerned. This is just her character.
Alice: You must have been curious about what was behind those letters, the boats, the buoys, the energy shield... Mm-hmm~ Actually, I thought it was a lot of effort, but this was the only way to invite everyone here, am I right?
Seele: You are.
Alice: The islands are just full of stories. The original inhabitants, shipwrecks, mystical machinery... Countless coincidences converge here. It would've been such a waste if I didn't make these arrangements. Now let me guess... Everyone who received a letter should be present. Kaeya, Diluc, Razor, Jean, Barbara... And then there's the reliable and intelligent Albedo, and... the mysterious Traveler and his good companion, Paimon. And there's the other mysterious Travelers also, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, Theresa, Himeko, Fu Hua, Sakura, Kallen, Rita, Durandal, Liliya, Rozaliya, Captain, and Patrick. And then there's Tesla, Einstein, Higokumaru, Jingwai's Wings, Blood Embrace, Selune's Elgy, Book of Fuxi, and Tesla-ZERO.
Rozaliya: Now how does she know our names and who we are?
Liliya: She must have been watching us secretly or she's read newspapers.
Alice: You were all invited by me to accompany Klee. Thank you all for allowing my daughter to have a memorable summer.
Theresa: I guess you could say that.
Alice: Everything on the islands is a gift for you all, as thanks for keeping my little Klee company. But when you hear this recording, I'll already be traveling in other faraway lands. The life of a traveler is such haste and amusement. Haha, ask the traveler next to you and you'll know.
Jean: So Alice went to all these lengths because she was too busy to be with Klee?
Klee: No, Mom's just like that!
Alice: Now everyone, if you're trying to find some hidden meaning in all of this, I must tell you that the situation isn't as complicated as you may think. The reason why I like the city of Mondstadt is that its freedom is exactly what my daughter and I could every hope for. My wish is simple: I want Klee to grow up with a curious yet kind heart. As long as she so desires, she can do anything and go anywhere.
Jean: So that's it. We'll, I must admit that is certainly fits Alice's style. My apologies, I misunderstood.
Paimon: It must be nice to have a mom who's such a character.
Klee: Yep! Mom is the bestest mom!
Kiana: Yeah. The best mom like my mom.
Patrick: And mine too.
Klee: Mom, we caught fish, sailed a boat, went swimming, and played a lot of things! Everyone's been super duper amazing and very kind to me! Next time, you can come with us and we can all play here again!
Kaeya: It appears that mother and daughter are kindred spirits, both wild and free...
Alice: Ah, summer... Speaking of summer, when I went to those islands, it also happened to be summer. Sitting on the beach, listening to the waves roll against my feet, I thought of you. Klee, you are a child of summer, a present to me from the sea and the wind. Mom is thankful for your birth and wanted to give you something. So Mom dressed up these islands, transformed the ancient ruins into a summer park, and used the moniker of Dodo-King to invite you. In another world, there are tales of a wondrous island named after golden apples. Known by many names, it embodies the majestic vistas conjured by human fantasy. Mom loves that story and wanted you to enjoy the wonderful things in it, so Mom gave you sapphire waters, pearly sands, a fantastical paradise... For you and for those who love you.
Jean: ...
Barbara: So there were only three crystals... Light red like flower petals, light blue like ocean waves, light yellow like autumn leaves...
Jean: Perhaps from Alice's perspective, this archipelago is the natural fourth crystal. Located in the middle of the sea and covered by plant life, it truly is a lustrous and emerald "Summer Crystal."
Alice: Klee, just like Mom, you are of a race blessed with longevity. For us, time is like a gust of wind: moments come and end. In such a long life, parents are but a child's first connection. Even though we don't want to be separated, there will come the day when you must walk your own path. Klee, Mom will always love you, but there are also others by your side. Friends who accompany you, teachers who educate you, people who are willing to stay on an island for you despite knowing how unusual it is... Ah, summer is for everyone. No matter how life changes, no matter how many things happen this year, summer will never disappear, just like the love between people. From now on, regardless of wherever you go, I hope you never forget how many people in this world love you. Oh, yes, be sure to listen to Mr. Albedo at home. Mom will regularly return to see you two. Actually, whenever I have a moment to spare, I sneak back to check on you and everyone else. Hee-hee, has no-one noticed?
Albedo: Aunt Alice, the same as ever.
Paimon: You don't think Albedo knew from the start, do you...?
Theresa: No way. He can't have known.
Himeko: So Alice must have snuck back to Mondstadt a few times without getting noticed and must have found out who we are.
Alice: Huh? Time's almost up, so I'll stop here. Right, right, I spent a lot of effort on this place, so you all must play your hearts out!
Alice: Everyone, my darling Klee, see you next time~
And then the recording ended.
Klee: Bye, Mom!
Patrick in mind: Felt like the season 1 final of "Dr. Stone" when Senku listened to his father speak through a recording.
Aether: Klee seems particularly happy.
Klee: Dodo-King was actually Mom. I don't know why, but I'm very happy!
Theresa: And there was nothing to worry about. Everything is all okey now.
Klee: It doesn't matter if it's Mom blowing up Mondstadt's main gate, or Mom getting grounded, or Mom writing weird letters. Klee loves her very much.
Aether: Will you feel lonely without your mother?
Klee: Nope. Mom is the most strongest mage, so she can keep me company no matter where she is. She never lets me feel lonely! I love Mom thiiiiiiiiiis much!
Klee: Honorary Knights , do you love Klee?
Theresa: Yes of course we do.
Aether: Yep!
Patrick: We love you Klee.
Theresa: As a friend and as family.
Then everything froze and faded into black then Theresa turned to the audience.
Theresa: We love Klee as a friend and as family, not romantically or lovey-dovey. Don't even think about swatting us. Patrick has a rule here. No FBI SWAT meme jokes in the comments. People have been making videos of people getting swatted by the FBI for saying that they love Klee. Like this one.

Time resumed.
Klee: I also love you all very much! You have to play with me lots here, or else Mom will be disappointed!
Theresa: Don't worry, we will.
Klee: I still have a lot of Jumpy Dumpties and I brought Dodoco here, too. I'll take you swimming and fish blasting!
Paimon: It's always fun when we're with you, Klee!
Klee: Hey, come on~!
Paimon: Let's not keep Klee waiting. C'mon, let's go!
Kiana: We still have more time to play!
Seele: Let's do this!
(A few days later)
In Jean's office, Jean was finishing up her paper work for the day. That's when she heard knocking on her door.
Jean: Come in.
Then the door burst open and two little girls dressed the same jumped in.
Little girls: HELLO!
One of them was Klee and.......... Klee?
Jean: Huh?! Two Klees?!
One was short the other one was taller.
Klee: I'm Klee. That's Theresa.
Theresa: Hai! The World's Number 1 Cutie is dressed just like the Spark Knight Klee!
Jean: Where did you get those clothes?
Klee: I gave her one of my spare dresses and spare backpacks then had Bronya make them larger with a spell and ta da!
Theresa: I'm Klee's twin!
Jean: Uhh...
(0:13)
[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]
Klee: Let's go play a game!
Theresa: I'm right behind you!
Theresa and Klee ran out of the room together. Theresa magically transformed back into her original outfit.
Klee: Dodoco!
Theresa: HOMU!
Both the Lolis ran out of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters.
Lisa: *giggles*. Look at those two. All happy. Who ever knew that this Dodo-King was Alice the adventurer.
Bronya: Yes. There was nothing to be worried about.
Theresa and Klee ran past Amber and Eula.
Eula: Watch where you're going! I'm going to have vengeance for this!
Amber: Relax Eula. That's just how little girls are.
Eula: I know that.
Then the two little girls ran past the water fountain.
Albedo: Alice's daughter has a friend she can play with.
Sucrose: So she does.
Then they ran outside of Mondstadt's gate then out into the wild where together they fought against monsters, treasure hoarders, and Fatui.
Theresa: World's number 1 cutie Theresa!
Klee: Spark Knight Klee!
All day they kept up beating up monsters and bad guys. They even went into a dungeon where they fought strong monsters, a boss, and found lots of treasure.
(Sunset)
Klee and Theresa were returning to Mondstadt after a long day of playing and fighting.
Theresa: Soon I'll be going to Inazuma with my team.
Klee: You'll be back right?
Theresa: Yes Klee. I'll be back with everyone else.
(1:45)
Theresa and Klee held hands as they crossed the bridge and entered through the gate.
They skipped back to the Knight of Favonius Headquarters.
(2:18)
They opened the doors and entered in.
Klee: I'm back!
Theresa: I'll see you around tomorrow Klee. I've got some work to do at the Cathedral.
Klee: Ok, see you tomorrow, Theresa!
Klee skips to her confinement room while Bronya steps out of the library as she was also going to the Cathedral to do some work.
Theresa: Let's go Bronya.
Bronya smiled.
Bronya: Yes Principle Theresa.
They held hands then walked out of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters and to the Cathedral.
