Chapter 44: We Will Be Reunited
(Liyue)
Now we had Durandal and Rita on our team again. Aether, Paimon, Fu Hua, Book of Fuxi, and I were going to the Adventurer's Guild in Liyue with Durandal and Rita tagging along. Durandal was in her Lord Paramount dress while Rita was in her Maid of Celestia dress.
Since they were in Liyue, they wanted to be in style. As we were passing by the people, we could hear gasps when they saw us. As we were getting closer to the Adventurer's Guild, we saw Ganyu speaking to Lan.
Lan: Yes, yes. They have the audacity to go after anything. The Seven, dragons, gods... no ancient artifacts that relates can escape their greedy ambitions. Still, this time is different... Who do they think they are going after the Abyss Orders treasures...?
Durandal: Huh? What's going on over there?
Patrick: Why don't we go find out.
So we went up to them and that's when they noticed us.
Lan: Oh, Travelers, it's you.
Paimon: Huh? Ganyu, what are you doing here with Lan? Do you have a commission you need to post?
Ganyu: Hello, Travelers... *gasps*... You... You're that super strong woman I've heard rumors about...
Durandal: Thats me...
Patrick: Yeah... During a festival event in Mondstadt we found two more missing team mates. That's Durandal but her real name is Bianca but we call her Durandal more. And that's Rita. She's a maid.
Rita: Greetings.
Fu Hua: Was there something you were discussing?
Ganyu: We were just discussing the Treasure Hoarders.
Patrick: The Treasure Hoarders?
Lan: Yes, we were just saying how even the audacious Treasure Hoarders should know better than to mess with the Abyss — it's just too evil.
Durandal: You can say that again.
Ganyu: But we recently received intel from the Ministry of Civil Affairs that two big-time Treasure Hoarders in Liyue and Mondstadt are planning some big joint operation.
Paimon: "Two big-time Treasure Hoarders"?
Lan: Yes, they're known as "Big Sis of the South" and "Raptor of the North."
Paimon: Ahh! Raptor! Paimon remembers he tried to run away from Amber in Mondstadt...
Patrick: We had him arrested. He could not have escaped.
Paimon: But who is "Big Sis of the South"?
Aether: Is she the "Boss" the Treasure Hoarders refer to?
Lan: You already know something then. I guess you must have crossed paths with the Treasure Hoarders many times before.
Patrick: Yes we have.
Lan: You are correct. She is the head of the Treasure Hoarders in Liyue. As I understand it, the Treasure Hoarders all call her "Boss." Some say that the God of Thieves even bestowed a gift upon her for her exploits, making her the "Big Sis of the Gods."
Rita: God of Thieves? Who is that?
Lan: ...But that's probably just a wild rumor.
Ganyu: Anyway, the Treasure Hoarders discovered some previously unexplored ruins that the Abyss Order has been secretly guarding in the shadows.
Durandal: Unexplored Ruins?
Ganyu: Despite how dangerous that makes it, all the Treasure Hoarders can think about is what kinds of treasure could be inside... They have already devised a plan: they will send out a decoy to divert the Abyss Order's forces away from the ruins, then send an expert thief inside to steal the treasure.
Patrick: Now that's just wrong for the Treasure Hoarders to do to mess with the Abyss Order.
Lan: To this end, Big Sis and Raptor have reportedly recruited a certain "Grand Thief" from Fontaine...
Paimon: "Grand Thief"? That's quite an impressive-sounding title.
Durandal: Not as great as our titles.
Lan: Indeed. He is an extraordinary individual. The Grand Thief is highly respected in the Treasure Hoarders, in the same way that we adventurer's look up to great adventurers.
Aether: Just like the famous adventurer, Alice?
Lan: Ah, so you're familiar with the author of the Teyvat Travel Guide, then? Correct, the Grand Thief is someone as renowned as her.
Patrick: And just like the great adventurer, Stanley?
Lan: Ah, you met the living legend himself while you were in Mondstadt? Correct, the Grand Thief is someone just as renowned as him too.
Durandal: So famous.
Rita: And so infamous.
Lan: So, despite being relative big-timers in Liyue and Mondstadt, Big Sis and Raptor had to put in a lot of work to convince a thief of his status to come and personally oversee this operation.
Ganyu: With the major changes in Liyue recently, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Millelith already have their hands full. They don't have time to investigate rumors about Treasure Hoarder activity.
Ganyu: But anything related to the Abyss makes me feel like there is some unknown danger lurking beneath the surface. So, I decided to come to the Adventurers' Guild to post a commission.
Aether: I, too, understand the dangers of the Abyss.
Patrick: And since we're here....
Durandal: We'll take the commission.
Rita: Just leave it to us.
Paimon: Mm-hmmm! Leave this commission to us!
Ganyu: Oh, thank you so much.
Lan: Good to see this in the hands of reliable Guild members. Well then, good luck. The Guild will take care of the details for this commission.
Patrick: You can count on us. We'll go get the rest of our party in Mondstadt. The Abyss Order can be really dangerous. So we're going to need all our members from our party.
Durandal: Why do we need everyone from our party?
Patrick: Because I want this commission to be the first one where you and Rita are with us. And sometimes you need to hold back on using your power and let others join you.
Durandal: Ok...
Rita: Good choice Durandal-sama.
(Later)
We flew on Toriyama. We stopped at Mondstadt to pick up everyone from our party. Since our party was large, some of them were riding in the transport that Toriyama was carrying with his claws.
Kiana: So the Treasure Hoarders are trying to mess with the Abyss?
Patrick: Thats what Lan and Ganyu told us. We better hurry.
Mei: Did they tell you where the ruins are?
Patrick: Yes. Near Mt. Aocang.
We flew to the location and landed at the entrance then got off. I sent Toriyama back.
Durandal: This looks like the entrance to the ruins.
Rita: The Treasure Hoarders are careless going up against the Abyss Order.
Fu Hua: For months we've been fighting against the Abyss Order, the Fatui, and the Treasure Hoarders.
Theresa: Alright, we enter in right now!
(Dungeon)
We entered into the dungeon. When we did, we saw Treasure Hoarder stuff around.
Paimon: There are signs of Treasure Hoarder activity here! They must've come to these ruins.
Patrick: Looks like Ganyu and Lan were right.
Paimon: Let's go deeper inside... Paimon sure hopes Ganyu's information is reliable...
Patrick: Durandal, feel free to take the lead.
Durandal: I will do exactly that.
Some of the Valkyries groaned.
Paimon: Is there a problem?
Kiana: You don't want to know.
Durandal: Stay behind me.
Durandal lead us through the door then we glided down to another floor.
Durandal halted us then looked down and saw hilichurls. Paimon went up and looked down.
Paimon: There aren't many guards here...
Durandal: Just a bunch of hilichurls.
Paimon: Looks like their plan to draw away the Abyss Order's forces really worked!
Durandal: Only not all of them were drawn away. I'll handle them.
Durandal summoned the Dragonspine Spear then she disappeared instantly then reappeared around the hilichurls startling them. She disappeared more times while taking them out instantly.
Aether: She is really strong.
Rita: That is Durandal-sama for you.
Defeating the hilichurls unlocked a door. The rest of us jumped down then followed Durandal through. Near a door of reservation was another Treasure Hoarder camp near a hallway with bubbles)
Paimon: More signs that a Treasure Hoarder was here! This should be the right direction, but...
Durandal: But what?
Paimon: Why does it feel stranger and stranger the deeper we make it into these ruins?
Seele: That is a good question. It is feeling stranger.
Bronya put her hand on Seele's shoulder.
Bronya: Stay behind the Bronya.
Seele: Thank you Bronya.
Aether: Bubbles.
Paimon: Hehe, um... Be careful, now! Paimon's right behind you...
So we went through the hallway while avoiding the bubbles. Then jumped down to the lower floor below. There were stone spikes all around the hallway. Then we turned left and went up some stairs. We entered into this chamber where we saw someone kneeling down in a prayer position.
Paimon: Th—This looks like a person! Could it be the Grand Thief?
Rita: I think it is him.
Mei: He hasn't noticed us yet.
Paimon: Why is he in that position? Is he praying to something?
There was also a statue of the seven upside down holding some kind of dark pink and purple orb. It did something.
Paimon: !?
Paimon gasped.
Paimon: That's...
Aether: A... Statue of The Seven?
Theresa: Not just any Statue of The Seven. It's a Statue of The Seven of Barbatos from Mondstadt.
Paimon: Wh—Why is this Statue of The Seven... hanging upside-down...?
Kiana: Someone probably stole it and wanted to put it upside down to insult Barbatos. Wait a minute. I mean... The Abyss Order must have stolen it and wanted to put it upside down then did something to it.
Mei: But why would it be here in Liyue?
Fu Hua: I can't think of an answer.
Captain: No one knows and none of us know.
Paimon: And the Statue's hands... Paimon remembers they are normally holding an orb, right? But, this statue is holding... What is that? Uhh... Paimon has a really bad feeling about this...
Fu Hua: I think it's some kind of dark energy.
Himeko: It must be some kind of orb with some kind of dark energy with Abyssal power.
Paimon: And the Grand Thief hasn't moved an inch. D—Do you think he's...?
Durandal: Dead?
Seele started to feel scared.
Paimon approaches the Grand Thief.
Paimon: Um... hello...? Are you okay mister?
We observed the "Grand Thief". But there was no reaction, nor any signs of him breathing.
Sakura approached the Grand Thief then checked his pulse.
Paimon: Sakura?
Sakura: ...
Sakura didn't answer. So Paimon checked his pulse... she froze... then floated away...
Sakura: ...
Paimon: ...H—He's dead.
Sakura: He is dead.
Paimon: Paimon doesn't feel so good, Aether.
Aether: How did he die...?
Sakura: There's no stab wounds or any bruises. I think his life energy was drained.
Theresa shivered in fear with Seele.
Theresa: The Abyss must have used some kind of spell on him that killed him.
Paimon: Let's get out of here, and fast! We should report back to Ganyu and Lan...
All of a sudden, we heard the sound of rocks.
Paimon: EEK!
Paimon got behind Jingwai's Wings' back.
Durandal drew our her Lance.
Durandal: Who's there?! Show yourself?!
???: Wait! It's us!
???: Idiotkas.
From the left came 2 familiar Lolis in pink and blue. They were still in the same outfits they wore when traveling to other worlds. The pink one had a Pyro Vision while the blue one had a Cryo Vision.
Durandal: Of course... it had to be them.
Durandal put her Lance away.
Bronya: Liliya.
Seele: Rozaliya!
Rozaliya: Phew. Finally after so many months, you've found us! Actually we found you but there's no difference.
Liliya: Like how our personalities are different.
Rozaliya: HEY!
Paimon: Two little girls with only one horn on their heads and with long tails?! How did they get those?!
Bronya: From experimentation.
Seele: The last two members of our party.
Patrick: The twins.
Rozaliya: Let us introduce ourselves. I'm Rozaliya Olenyeva. Molotov Cherry.
Liliya: And I am Liliya Olenyeva. Blueberry Blitz.
Rozaliya and Liliya: Together we are the Vodka Girls!
Kiana: Those are the twins we told you about.
Seele: They were in the same orphanage Bronya and I were in. Liliya is a little emotionless and Rozaliya is really energetic.
Patrick: They like putting on shows and directing.
Bronya: And they like singing songs calling themselves idols.
Theresa: They could give Barbara a run for her money and give her some competition once we get back to Mondstadt.
Patrick: Now introduce yourselves to the twins.
Paimon: The name's Paimon!
Aether: I'm Aether.
Liliya: We've heard all about your heroics.
Rozaliya: A lot of people we've been running into have been talking all about the Honorary Knights that saved Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor. Plus we're glad you proved that the Fatui are criminals. Every time we ran into Fatui we've caused a lot of mischief on them sabotaging their plans.
Liliya: And we've been fighting against the Abyss Order and the Treasure Hoarders.
Paimon: How did you both get in here?
Rozaliya: We followed them in here so we can steal whatever treasure they could steal from this place while we swoop in and steal it from them. But then we saw something else kill them all especially that guy over there. It scared us so much that we had to hide from the Abyss Order.
Liliya: But then we saw you and we're glad to see you.
Aether: What was it that killed him?
Rozaliya: It was...
All of a sudden, the ground starts to shake then dark energy started coming from the cracks in the ground.
Paimon: Aaaah, now what!?
Rozaliya: The ground is shaking!
Paimon: We can't stay here. Quick, run!
Together we ran through the way Liliya and Rozaliya came from. The platforms started to collapse. We ran up the stairs where we reached a door that opened by itself and on the other side was a mysterious figure in armor.
???: You cannot spy on the secrets of the Abyss. You have come here, you have seen our secrets. For this, you must pay the price. As a Herald, I will mete out your punishment.
Paimon: An Abyss Herald!?
Seele got behind Bronya's back.
Seele: Thats what an Abyss Harold looks like.
Patrick: I thought they would be taller Abyss Mages.
Mei: So that's an actual Abyss Harold.
Aether: The one Dain spoke of...
Patrick: And the monster we were tracking down with Dain...
Abyss Herald: Dain... Dainsleif? Oh, I thought you were just a couple of pests that stumbled in here by mistake... So, you are with Dainsleif, that constant annoyance in our affairs... Did he send you here to die? His resistance against the Abyss has gone nowhere for a long time. There is nothing you can do to change the tide...
Durandal: There are 15 of us and only one of you.
Abyss Herald: That means nothing to me. The Abyss... Is unstoppable!
We were able to sense the Abyss Harold's power.
Paimon: What is this power...? Paimon's never seen it before...
We drew our weapons to fight against the Abyss Harold. Liliya and Rozaliya drew out their original Greatswords.
Paimon: Careful, please don't get cocky...
Durandal and I charged in with our weapons while the Abyss Harold gave off Hydro energy and manifested two blades with Hydro Energy. Then it blocked our attacks and pushed us back.
Abyss Harold: Abyss Mages!
The Abyss Harold summoned Abyss Mages.
Kiana: So it can summon minions too! We can't stand by and do nothing! Attack!
Everyone charged in and took an the Abyss Mages. The Abyss Harold did some kind of spin attack like how Himeko does her spin attack. It was called abyssal roar.
Himeko: Two can play it that game!
When the Abyss Harold did the same attack, Himeko charged up her Greatsword covering it with fire and Pyro energy then she did her spin attack and colliding with the Abyss Harold. Then they both got blown back. The Abyss Harold did a cross attack firing a cross torrent at Seele only Bronya used a spell and froze it entirely then sent an attack from the Star of Eden damaging the Abyss Harold.
Bronya: You alright Seele?
Seele: Yes. Thank you Bronya.
Seele cut down a Pyro Abyss Mage.
Mei and Sakura fought against the Abyss Herald then they slashed through the Abyss Herald with Electro and Hydro energy. When they sheathed their swords, sparks came off the Abyss Herald and it screamed in pain.
Rozaliya: This is our time to shine! Enjoy the show!
Liliya and Rozaliya took turns at attacking the Abyss Herald delivering as many slashes as they could.
Patrick: Thats how the twins fight.
The Abyss Herald was about to slash Liliya but then she used her dodge counter ultimate and slashed at the Abyss Herald. Then she sprung up then slashed back down at the Abyss Herald.
Abyss Herald: Impossible! How am I losing ground!
Rozaliya: Because you're a villain! That's why!
Liliya: Nice line.
Rozaliya: Now let's finish him!
They began to charge up their ultimate.
Liliya and Rozaliya: Witness our strength! Vodka rain energy, release! Vodka Choppa!
They unleashed their ultimate and slashed at the Abyss Herald causing a lot of damage.
Liliya and Rozaliya swapped out for me and Kiana.
Patrick and Kiana: Trace on!
We summoned swords and lances then fired them at the Abyss Harold landing direct hits. Then we prepared to finish him with our swords but then it blocked our slashes then unleashed a shockwave that blew us back. It was so strong that it caused Kiana's braided hair to come loose. We landed on our backs. Then the Abyss Herald charged on Kiana.
Patrick and Mei: Kiana!
Just as the Abyss Herald was about to do a cross slash on Kiana, she got scared and opened a void portal but the Abyss Harold instantly stopped. It looked at Kiana.
Abyss Harold: This power... Your hair... they bring back memories...
Kiana, Mei, and Patrick: *gasps*!
Abyss Herald: You remind me of that Goddess that...
Before the Abyss Herald could finish, Aether did a wind blade on the Abyss Herald causing it to jump away.
Aether: Get away from my friend!
Theresa took out the last Abyss Mage.
Theresa: Thats all of them! Now attack all at once.
Everyone: Right!
We all got into a formation then unleashed our attacks simultaneously and landed a direct hit. The Abyss Order screamed in pain as sparks came off of it then it blew up and was blown back. It looked at Aether as he got back up.
Abyss Herald: This power... It seems familiar... Hmph...! I see... So, it's you... you are the one!
Kiana: What do you mean "he is the one"?!
Abyss Herald: In that case, I shall stay here no longer...
The Abyss Herald opened a portal and disappeared away.
Paimon: Whew... what a tough battle. Are you okay, everyone?
Patrick: Just barely.
Kiana: Now I have to braid my hair again.
Paimon: Such a strong enemy. Who knew the Abyss Order had monsters this powerful among them?
Aether in mind: It seemed to... know me.
Paimon: Huh? What is it? What are you thinking about?
Aether: Nothing, let's just get out of here.
Paimon: Oh, right, yeah... We're near the exit now. Let's get outta this scary place before something even more dangerous shows up!
So we hurried to the exit to safety.
We exited out of the dungeon then someone appeared. It was Dainsleif.
Dainsleif: So we meet again, a little sooner than I had expected.
Paimon: Hey, it's Dain!
Dainsleif: Judging by your expressions, it seems you just experienced something quite strange.
Kiana: You better believe it! We did! And we found the last two members of our party.
Liliya and Rozaliya: Thats us!
Durandal: Before them, they found me and Rita.
Dainsleif: Could it be that you encountered an Abyss Herald in those ruins?
Paimon: Huh!? How did you know that?
Dainsleif: I've been on the Abyss Herald's trail. I didn't expect to find you here as well.
Aether: Actually, the Abyss Herald wasn't all we encountered...
After introducing Durandal, Rita, Liliya, and Rozaliya to Dainsleif, we told him everything. About the strange statue and the deceased thief.
Dainsleif: An inverted Statue of The Seven... holding Abyssal power in its hands? No, I have never seen such a thing during my time fighting the Abyss... though I have had my suspicions. Tell me the rest of what happened in there. So you escaped the ruin depths filled with Abyssal power, and then?
Paimon: And then, as we got close to the exit, an Abyss Herald suddenly appeared and blocked our way.
Seele: It was so scary.
Theresa: And terrifying.
Paimon: We fought a big battle with that thing. Maybe it hasn't gotten too far yet...
Dainsleif: Yes, this is a rare opportunity indeed. Come, let's catch up to it.
Aether: Yes, sir!
Paimon: Let's go! A rare opportunity! With Dain helping out, maybe we'll be able to solve more mysteries about the Abyss!
Kiana: Looks like another opportunity to fight against the Abyss Herald!
We followed Dainsleif to where there were monsters around an abandoned Ruin Guard. We charged in and defeated the monsters.
Paimon: Those Abyss Mages just now... were they trying to ambush us?
Dainsleif: No, they were just digging through these abandoned Ruin Guards looking for something of value.
Rita: What could they have been searching for?
Paimon: Oh, is that so... The Traveler here seems to like doing that a lot, too...
Paimon: Looking for Chaos Devices, Chaos Circuits... You know, that kinda stuff.
Aether: Abyss Mages probably weren't looking for stuff like that...
Dainsleif: They wouldn't be searching for such ordinary objects. In fact, I was nearby investigating precisely because Abyss Mages often come out from that ruin to explore. They seem to be searching the remains of Ruin Guards for a certain valuable object to take back to the ruins. However, they look disappointed, so it would seem they haven't found it yet...
Paimon: Well then, why didn't you grab one of them just now and ask what they were up to?
Aether: Yeah, Master Diluc's done that before...
Durandal: Interrogating them would have given us answers.
Dainsleif: I certainly don't mean to be merciful towards these monsters of the Abyss... But I have a feeling that their plan with this object is of major importance to the entire Abyss Order.
Kallen: What do you mean?
Dainsleif: One can not discover the truth behind it through interrogation. Or rather, these Abyss Mages likely fear something else much more than they do a painful interrogation...
Aether: Something related to what we saw in the ruins?
Patrick: It could be that.
Paimon: Uhh... Paimon is getting goosebumps thinking about all this!
Dainsleif: Alright, we shouldn't waste too much time here. Let's continue our search.
We went to another area where we saw Abyss Mages and hilichurls looking through a Ruin Hunter which came to life. We fought and defeated them.
Paimon: Wow... Besides the Abyss Order, Ruin Guards sure are active around here...
Kiana: Including the Ruin Hunters.
Paimon: Seems wherever we find an Abyss Mage hideout, there's often a bunch of Ruin Guards roaming around too. Is that just a coincidence, or...?
Dainsleif: There are no coincidences in the world. Everything is the fruit of seeds planted long ago. Just like your appearance in that tavern... Time is just waiting for those seeds to sprout.
Aether: But we only heard about you by chance... I don't really understand...
Dainsleif: Forget it. Just some needless musings. The connection between the Abyss Order and the Ruin Guards is by no means incidental.
Patrick: What do you mean "by no means incidental"?
Dainsleif: Rather, they are both branches that have grown out and up from the same roots below.
Paimon: "Branches"? "Roots"? What do you mean exactly?
Dainsleif: Both originate from an ancient nation that was destroyed 500 years ago — Khaenri'ah.
Paimon: Huh? Khaenri'ah!? Really!? The Abyss Order and Ruin Guards are left over from after the destruction of that nation!?
Kiana: What is Khaenri'ah?
Paimon: Oh... Speaking of Khaenri'ah, that's really a super ancient name... Oh, right. As your guide, Paimon should explain a bit here. A long time ago, the nation of Khaenri'ah was...
Aether: I know about Khaenri'ah...
Paimon: ...Huh?
Valkyries, Captain, and Patrick: HUH?!
Patrick: How do you know about Khaenri'ah?
Aether: Because I have memories of Khaenri'ah.
Finallly the Valkyries, Captain, ELFS, Higokumaru, and I were in complete shock.
Valkyries, Captain, and Patrick: HUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!
Paimon: You have memories of being there? But that nation was destroyed 500 years ago...
Bronya: The Bronya has heard of Khaenri'ah too. The Bronya has read about it in books in Lisa's library.
Bronya was the only one not in shock because she can't feel emotion.
Seele: I've read about Khaenri'ah too.
Fu Hua: Same here.
Sakura: so have Kallen and I.
Durandal: Rita and I have also read about Khaenri'ah.
Rita: Thats right. Durandal-sama and I have also read about Khaenri'ah.
Liliya and Rozaliya: Us too.
Dainsleif: ... Is that so? Well, everyone has their secrets. You did not pry into mine, so I shall not pry into yours...
Dainsleif: But if you would like to tell me, I will listen... So, the Khaenri'ah you saw, what was it like?
Aether in mind: Well, I can't hide it from him or them any longer...
Aether tells us and Dain about the sea of flames he and Lumine saw 500 years ago, and that god he and her encountered...
Paimon: So that's the complete story, huh... Paimon thought that you ran into that unknown god first...
Patrick: We all did. We thought that you and your sister woke up at the same time.
Seele: So you were asleep for 500 years.
Dainsleif: Hmm...
Patrick: Thats similar to Ras Eclare from "Epic Seven" when he was asleep for 10 years after a huge battle.
Dainsleif: I see... So your first memory after coming into this world was being awoken by your sister from within that meteorite...
Paimon: It seems your sister woke up first, but the question is, how long before you...
Kiana: And why didn't you both wake up at the same time?
Dainsleif: And then your sister told you that the destruction of Khaenri'ah plunged the whole world into chaos and that you two should leave this world called Teyvat?
Paimon: "The destruction of Khaenri'ah"? She said that?
Aether: That's what I heard at the time.
Dainsleif: That destruction you witnessed, that's... history from 500 years ago. It seems the first time you awoke in this world was indeed during that period.
Paimon: Huh... So your sister must have understood this world better than you did because she woke up first.
Dainsleif: And it was shortly after that that you encountered an unknown god who blocked your path, so you couldn't escape...
Paimon: Oh, Paimon knows this part really well.
Kiana: So do we. However, we don't know how you got to this time or what type of slumber you were in.
Kiana whispered to me.
Kiana: The Unknown God probably flung him into the future like how Aku flung Samurai Jack into the future but how would the Goddess have time powers when she and I can only control the void, portals, and space?
Dainsleif: ...I understand. When you awoke at that time and hurriedly tried to leave for another world, you didn't know anything about Khaenri'ah. But now, since you have come to gain some understanding of Teyvat, you are able to guess that the war you witnessed all those years ago must be the war that ended Khaenri'ah... Am I right?
Paimon: Ah! If that's the case, you must've been flipping through all sorts of books during our adventure these past few months. Before going to Mondstadt, you had just looked at some vague materials. Later, we managed to gather a whole bunch of old books from all around Mondstadt and Liyue, but you told Paimon they were useless...
Seele: Bronya and I saw you go through the books in Lisa's library.
Bronya: You were going through the old books.
Fu Hua: And I saw you going through the books at Wanwen Bookhouse.
Paimon: So the whole time you were just trying to learn more about Khaenri'ah so you could find your sister?
Aether: It's the second most promising lead after looking for The Seven.
Paimon: Oh yeah... You can travel around the seven nations to find The Seven but where can you go to find a nation that was destroyed 500 years ago...?
Dainsleif: I probably know more about Khaenri'ah than both of you.
Sakura: Let's hear it.
Dainsleif: Khaenri'ah was a nation without a god — not because it had a god that died or abandoned them, but because it never had a god to begin with.
Theresa: A nation without a god.
Himeko: Now that's unusual.
Dainsleif: It was a powerful nation, built purely by humans, an unprecedented flourishing and glorious civilization — it was the pride of humankind.
Paimon: A nation... without a god...?
Dainsleif: Later events unfolded just as you remember — it was all destroyed... by gods.
Paimon: You mean that...
Dainsleif: 500 years ago, the gods descended upon the world and brought desolation to Khaenri'ah. The "pride of humankind" was uprooted and crushed, like a weed removed from the garden of the gods...
Paimon: How could that be...? The history books don't say anything about that...
Patrick: That's horrible...
Patrick in mind: I bet that Altera from "Fate Grand Order" would think that Khaenri'ah is a bad civilization like the gods did.
An imagination cloud appeared above me where a chibi Altera from "Fate Grand Order: Learning with Manga" was angry while holding her photon sword.
Altera: a nation without a god and advancing gaining more power than gods!? Fiends! Khaenri'ah is officially a bad civilization! I'll destroy it! Death to all!
And then the imagination cloud went poof.
Aether: What a dangerous world... I need to hurry up and find my sister.
Dainsleif: Yes. Well, continuing to discuss the past now will only dampen our spirits.
Aether in mind: But, the next time we see Venti or Zhongli...
Dainsleif: Let's keep moving. I will tell you more of what you want to know as we continue our search.
Kiana: Actually there is one more thing to confess.
Dainsleif: What are you talking about.
Kiana: It's when we first met Aether and Paimon back in Mondstadt.
Paimon: You aren't making any sense.
Kiana: Remember when we told you about Herrschers and the one who controls the Void?
Aether: What does that have to do with Khaenri'ah?
Kiana: Nothing...
Mei: Kiana-Chan...
Kiana: The Herrscher of the Void... was... was... WAS ME!
Aether and Paimon: WHAT?!
Kiana: I was the Herrscher of the Void!
Theresa: It's true. The original Herrscher of the Void Sirin was in control of Kiana's body... because of my Grandpa...
Durandal and Rita decided to step back.
Theresa: Grandpa was the one who murdered my best friend Cecelia and was the reason why Sirin turned into the Herrscher of the Void, the reason why billions of people were killed, and the reason why my niece was the Herrscher of the Void!
Fu Hua: He tricked me and used me to reawaken Sirin and murdered billions of innocent people.
Theresa: Sirin nearly took my niece away from me.
Himeko: Patrick and I had to put everything on the line to save her from Sirin.
Paimon: Why didn't you tell us!
Mei: Because you wouldn't understand and would think that Kiana is the unknown god.
Kiana: The Abyss Herald must have seen the unknown god and nearly thought that the unknown god was me. I may look like the unknown god but I'm not her. But you probably think I'm her...
Aether: You're not her.
Kiana: Huh?
Aether: I can already tell that you're not her.
Kiana: How?
Aether: Because you don't have her scent.
Kiana blushed deep red with a Tsundere face.
Patrick: Don't even think about it.
Kiana: Of course I wouldn't! It's not like I want to!
Dainsleif: If you're done with your confessions, let's get moving.
Kiana: Ok. We'll get moving.
We got to another area where there were more Abyss Mages and a Ruin Guard.
Paimon: Over there! It's more Ruin Guards and Abyss Mages. Dain was just saying how these ancient machines are from Khaenri'ah... So... did Khaenri'ah have a lot of ruins that needed to be guarded?
Dainsleif: No. "Ruin Guard" is the name modern people have given these machines. No-one called them that 500 years ago.
Fu Hua: Then what were they called?
Dainsleif: These "Ruin Guards" were known as "Field Tillers" by the people of Khaenri'ah.
Paimon: "Field Tillers"? What a strange name.
Kiana: So they were built to do farm work?
Aether: They were farming equipment!?
Dainsleif: It's not like you think. "Field Tiller" was just a code name. The people of Khaenri'ah liked to give code names to their weapons. "The land is not to be tilled with farming tools, but rather to be fought for with steel and blood." —This is how the "Field Tiller" came about.
Paimon: "Fought for with steel and blood"? Well that's an interesting way of understanding "tilling"... Paimon doesn't think it's a very positive interpretation.
Dainsleif: ... After the destruction of Khaenri'ah, these masterless "Field Tillers" went completely out of control. They wandered aimlessly over the centuries, gradually spreading to every corner of Teyvat. Perhaps resonating with the sorrow of other civilizations across the time, they found their way to various ruins across the land, where they lie dormant.
Paimon: That sounds... so sad...
Aether: Wandering aimlessly for 500 years...
Fu Hua: Feels like me when I wandered aimlessly for 50,000 years. It seems... we should put an end to their suffering.
Paimon: Yeah... Paimon thinks you've been doing a real good job of that.
Dainsleif: Once you understand more, those details won't mean much to you. But no matter their past, all that remains of them now is the danger they pose... so destroy them all.
So we took out more the Abyss Mages and the Ruin Guard. From a dead Cryo Abyss Mage came out a talisman.
Paimon: Huh? This Abyss Mage dropped a talisman... Could it be a communication of some kind?
Dainsleif: Hmm, this talisman seems connected to the Abyss Herald. But why would an Abyss Mage be carrying it...? Perhaps it really does contain information about their operation.
Paimon: But, Paimon can't read the writing on it... *gasp* Is that the script of Khaenri'ah?
Dainsleif: "...Engulf the faith of the enemy in flame, and bring glory to Her Highness, the Princess..."
Kiana: The Princess. Like the one Kaeya told us about.
Paimon: Wha—!? Is that what it says?
Dainsleif: "...'Loom of Fate,' initial operation." They... the Abyss, seem to be carrying out a large operation. The keyword here is "Loom of Fate."
Mei: What's their plan?
Dainsleif: It seems like they are still launching the operation, or rather, are still conducting preliminary tests...
Paimon: "Loom of Fate"? What's that? Is it literally a... fate-weaving machine?
Aether: Is it related to the inverted statue?
Paimon: From the horrible feeling Paimon's been getting, those eerie ruins are super likely to be related to this fate-weaving operation. So Dain, what message does this talisman contain?
Dainsleif: I'm reading it now... Hmm... An ambitious operation, but some parts are difficult to understand.
Paimon: How so?
Dainsleif: In short, the first phase of the plan is related to Osial, Overlord of the Vortex.
Fu Hua: Osial?!
Paimon: The Overlord of the Vortex!? You mean that god in the ocean?
Aether: It was just crushed by the Jade Chamber...
Fu Hua: We thought we destroyed Osial.
Paimon: What do they want with Osial? Ohh...
Aether: Could it be the same as with Dvalin?
Kiana: It could be that.
Dainsleif: I know of your past heroics regarding Dvalin, and I also know of the Abyss Order's role in the Stormterror incident. Though you may not have been aware of it at the time, you were thwarting an Abyss Order operation similar to this one.
Paimon: Last time it was Venti's old friend, this time it's a huge ancient god... The Abyss Order keeps setting their sights higher and higher.
Seele: Just how many beings are they going to try to mind control?
Paimon: Will the Abyss Order use their lies and dark magic to corrupt Osial, just as they did Dvalin?
Dainsleif: No... From the contents of the talisman, this operation goes one step further. They won't just corrupt Osial's mind. They also plan to use the ancient technology behind the "Field Tillers" to completely transform Osial's body.
Paimon: Is... that even possible?
Fu Hua: Osial is made entirely of water, how can they but metal and machinery on a being made of water?
Paimon: So wait, the Abyss Order wants to make some sort of... Cybernetic Squid-God of Mass Destruction!?
Aether: Sounds about right.
Kiana: These nicknames keep getting longer!
Dainsleif: Very few people today truly understand the civilization of Khaenri'ah, though of course, the accuracy of that understanding itself is difficult to judge. Only the Abyss Order has consistently sought out the remnants of Khaenri'ah. Despite being far from human, they seek out this lost human civilization quite persistently. The talisman's message states that they will use "the Defiled Statue" as a base, attaching Osial's limbs to construct a mechanized god. And the new core that shall replace the orb usually held by the Statue of The Seven... is the eye of the very first Field Tiller.
Patrick in mind: Feels like Mecha King Ghidorah. I wonder if Dr. Eggman would have the same idea to mechanize Perfect Chaos like how the Abyss Order wants to mechanize Osial?
An imagination cloud appeared above me showing Dr. Eggman.
He would say something like this:
Dr. Eggman: I know! I'm going to mind control and corrupt Chaos' mind then mechanize him to destroy Sonic. *laughs*.
https://youtu.be/wC3v_B-9_DM
And then it went poof.
Paimon: "The eye of the very first Field Tiller"? ...Ohh, Paimon gets it! All those Abyss Mages are looking for this special eye, right?
Dainsleif: It would seem so.
Aether: They haven't found it yet. We still have time.
Kiana: Then we better find the eye before they do.
Paimon: This whole thing keeps getting more complicated, but basically it all has to do with that eerie Statue of The Seven we saw, right?
Dainsleif: Yes. According to the talisman, the eye should be placed in the hands of the Defiled Statue... Thereby imbuing the newly born god with the power to "topple the divine thrones of Celestia."
Aether in mind: Celestia...
Patrick: Topple the divine thrones of Celestia...
Paimon: Oh boy... The Abyss Order sure isn't holding back with this plan.
Bronya: Now the Abyss Order is getting more serious than they were before.
Paimon: Hmm. Since no-one knows where the first Field Tiller is, how about we take the information about the statue as the starting point for our investigation?
Aether: Should we ask the Church of Favonius about it?
Paimon: Yeah, that Tone-Deaf Bard is too difficult to track down anyway. Let's go to the Cathedral first and ask around, maybe we'll learn something.
Theresa: We'll ask Barbara.
Dainsleif: The Cathedral... Hmph.
Paimon: Huh? What's the matter, Dain?
Dainsleif: Nothing. Let's get moving
Patrick: Ok, I'll summon my dragon and we'll fly there.
(Mondstadt)
We flew to Mondstadt on Toriyama then got to the Cathedral outside of the giant statue. Durandal and Rita were back in their default outfits.
Dainsleif: A huge statue, a grandiose Cathedral... The people of Mondstadt clearly spent a great deal of resources and energy to construct them. But how aware of this was the Anemo Archon on receiving this gift, and how much did he give back in return?
Paimon: Faith doesn't ask for anything in return though, does it?
Dainsleif: Hmph, as long as the gods have a clear conscience about it all, there's nothing I can say about it.
Paimon: Shh! We're about to enter the Cathedral. Don't say anything bad about the Anemo Archon...
Theresa: Barbara would get angry at you.
Kallen: She'll say something like "How dare you disrespect the Anemo Archon!"
Paimon: And actually, the Anemo Archon is... Gah, never mind.
Dainsleif: I never specifically said I would enter the Cathedral. I'll leave you two to mingle with the sisters.
Paimon: Huh?
Bronya: Why not?
Aether: But we've done everything else together.
Dainsleif: You are the Honorary Knights of Mondstadt. They will surely allow you to poke into these affairs with their utmost trust. Having me tag along would only make them suspicious.
Theresa: You don't think you will be popular among the sisters?
Aether: Because they don't know you?
Dainsleif: Correct, and just as our little friend said... I might say something bad about the Church at any time. When a non-believer steps onto holy ground, the result is never pretty. I have never received the favor of the gods in the past. I don't see any reason I would need it now or in the future, either. That's enough about that. While we've been chit-chatting, the Abyss Order continues to act.
Paimon: Okay then, guys, we'll just go in ourselves and ask around.
Dainsleif: I should warn you about one thing. Don't go mentioning the Defiled Statue inside the Cathedral. The Church of Favonius wouldn't ignore the matter of the statue, but if they rashly tried anything against the Abyss Order, it would only ruin whatever element of surprise we may have. Also... Meddling in the affairs of the Abyss usually doesn't end well for anyone.
Kiana: Ok, we won't say anything.
Dainsleif: Go in the Cathedral and ask around. I'll be waiting out here.
We entered into the church without Dainsleif and met Barbara.
Barbara: Honorary Knights! Hi, how have you been? Do you need anything today?
Kiana: Actually yes we do. It's something very important.
Barbara: Agh... But I should first make it clear that if you want to borrow the Holy Lyre der Himmel again, we cannot oblige.
Paimon in mind: It seems she hasn't realized it's just an illusion...
Kiana: Oh no. Thats not why we're here. It's because...
Rozaliya: Hiya!!!!!
Rozaliya popped up in front of Barbara which scared her.
Barbara: EEK!
She nearly fell backwards.
Liliya bonked Rozaliya on the head.
Liliya: Baka. You nearly gave her a heart attack.
Rozaliya: Hey! It's not like I wanted to scare her or something!
Seele: Sorry about that Barbara, but this is Rozaliya Olenyeva and this is Liliya Olenyeva. The pink one can be energetic often and the blue one tends to punish her. They call themselves the Vodka Girls and are self proclaimed idols and really love performing on stage, singing on stage, and acting on stage. And believe us, they could give you some competition when it comes to music.
Patrick: And they are self proclaimed super stars.
Barbara: It's fine. But what's with the tails and the horns?
Bronya: They were mutated in experimentation.
Barbara: Mutated?!
Rozaliya: Check this out.
Liliya and Rozaliya grabbed their greatswords with only their tails and lifted them up high.
Barbara: Huh?!
Seele: They can do a lot of things but enough about them. We better get to the point on why we're here.
Paimon: We're here to ask some questions about something. Barbara, have you heard about "the first Field Tiller"?
Barbara: Hmm... What's that? "Field Tiller"... What does it do?
Paimon: Ah, of course you wouldn't know anything about that, hehe... Okay, next question. Has the Church ever lost a Statue of the Seven?
Patrick: More specifically, have any of the Statues of the Seven in Mondstadt ever got stolen or ever gone missing?
Barbara: Huh? You're here to ask about that old story? Well, I didn't expect that... That was such a long time ago, barely anyone mentions it nowadays.
Seele: What do you mean?
Barbara: A long time ago, there was indeed one Statue of The Seven that disappeared one night without a trace. Nearly every member of the Church joined the search for it, but it was never found. In the Church's records, as you might assume, this incident has been called "The Lost Statue of The Seven."
Paimon: Hmm... of course.
Barbara: Of course?
Paimon: Uh, nothing! So, do you have any other clues— uh, Paimon means... any other strange stories?
Liliya: Baka.
Paimon in mind: Sorry, Barbara but we can't tell you about the statue we saw just yet... Like Dain said outside, it's for your own good...
Barbara: Other strange stories? I'm not sure, let me think about what other unusual incidents are in the Church's records... Oh, "The Tyrant's Final Fury"? No, that's from another time, probably not related...
Paimon: "The Tyrant's Final Fury"?
Seele: What's that about?
Kiana: Tell us.
Barbara: Oh, this refers to a time of great danger that engulfed Old Mondstadt, the place now known as Stormterror's Lair. Many, many years ago, there was a time when balls of fire would rain from the sky when anyone approached Old Mondstadt.
Paimon, Seele, and Theresa got scared.
Paimon: Balls of fire raining from the sky!? How terrifying...
Barbara: People at that time believe that it was a curse laid down by the God of Storms, so they referred to it as "The Tyrant's Final Fury." This strange phenomenon continued for about a year. No-one was ever able to solve it, it just gradually ceased on its own.
Aether: So bizarre.
Seele: It's not necessarily related to the tyrant...
Barbara: Right! Later, the theory of "The Tyrant's Final Fury" became less probable in the eyes of the Church. Common reasoning dictates that the God of Storms wouldn't shoot fireballs... Perhaps it was something else that caused the disaster.
Seele: It could have been something else.
Barbara: Anyway, this incident might not be related to "The Lost Statue of The Seven," but I just can't think of any other strange incidents that might be.
Paimon: It's okay. Thanks anyway!
Rosaria: There's that pointless word "thank you" again. I can never get used to hearing it...
The voice gave us tick marks. All except the twins.
Rosaria came into the picture.
Barbara: Oh, Rosaria, It's you.
Theresa: Her again.
Rosaria: If you're looking for the Knights of Favonius, they're busy with those monsters again.
Bronya: We're not.
Barbara: "Those monsters"?
Rosaria: Those monsters that tried to attack Mondstadt last time, during the Stormterror incident.
Paimon: Wasn't that the Abyss Order!? They're at it again?
Rosaria: Indeed. They are gathering in Wolvendom, causing great unrest among the wolves.
Patrick: Razor.
Seele: I hope he's okey.
Rosaria: Could it be... that the Abyss Order is targeting the spirit of Lupus Boreas? As for what purpose, I can't say for certain.
Rosaria: Master Jean has already headed off to Wolvendom. I must also begin to make a move myself.
Barbara: Th—Then I will go as well!
Rosaria: Master Jean said you should stay at the church, and continue your work with the clergy.
Barbara: B—But... you're also a member of the clergy...
Theresa: Forget her. She's not going to listen to you...
Aether: Don't worry, I will go to help as well.
Kiana: We all will.
Seele: We'll make sure that your sister is okey.
Paimon: Right, we'll go give Master Jean a hand!
Barbara: Oh... Okay, if the Honorary Knight will be there, then... But please, everyone, be careful. May the Anemo Archon protect you all.
We exited out of The Cathedral and met back with Dainsleif. We told him everything.
Dainsleif: I see... Has the Abyss Order already launched a new operation...? This could very well have something to do with the Defiled Statue. We should go as well.
Paimon: But, what is the Abyss Order going to Wolvendom for anyway? Are they looking to do the same they did with Dvalin?
That's when it hit us. Paimon was right.
Everyone: Aaaah... Not again!
Dainsleif: No, that's not likely.
Captain: What do you mean?
Dainsleif: Unlike Osial, who was just suppressed, Andrius died long ago.
Kiana: How is Andrius dead? We clearly met him.
Dainsleif: Today it is just his spirit that stands guard over Wolvendom. The Abyss Herald may just be targeting the spirit of Andrius in an attempt to garner some information from one of the Anemo Archon's old companions.
Theresa: We better hurry to Wolvendom right now!
(Wolvendom)
We hurried on over to Wolvendom where we encountered monsters.
Paimon: Aaah! The Abyss Order!
Dainsleif: Don't underestimate the enemy, let's take them now!
So we took on the monsters and emerged victorious.
Paimon: Whew... there sure are a lot of enemies around here!
Kiana: But we had them outmatched!
Dainsleif: The closer we get to the target the more enemies there are. Hmph, fits the Abyss Order's style.
Aether: We should hurry and find Lupus Boreas.
Mei: Before the Abyss Order does.
Paimon: Yeah! Let's go!
Dainsleif: I'm... not going any further.
Everyone: Huh?!
Paimon: Huh? Why not? Is it because you're afraid of fluffy animals?
Aether: That's... probably not it.
Dainsleif: It has nothing to do with wolves. It's because Boreas was an ancient god, yet he willingly became a servant of The Seven. I cannot possibly agree with his actions. I don't desire any interaction with him. Besides, you're the ones people like. I'm... less likable.
Aether: You really despise The Seven, huh.
Dainsleif: There's nothing special about gods anyway.
Theresa: Why would you say that?
Dainsleif: It's just my opinion, but a word of advice: Always be on your guard when around gods. You shouldn't place too much trust in them. But at the same time, don't go too far in the opposite direction... Don't go trying to overthrow them, or hunt them down. Even if the god in question is your sworn enemy.
Paimon: Don't trust them, and don't hunt them... That's some awkward advice. Does Dain hate The Seven, or is he protecting them?
Patrick: Some gods are good and some gods are bad.
Aether: Why is your opinion so contradictory?
Dainsleif: ... Lest I repeat the failings of my forebears. I... will tell you one final fact.
Paimon: Huh? What fact?
Dainsleif: The destruction of the nation of Khaenri'ah by the gods... is the reason why the Abyss Order now seeks to destroy the nations watched over by The Seven.
Bronya: Why would the Abyss Order want to destroy the nations watched by the seven? They were never even human or citizens of Khaenri'ah.
Seele: Why would monsters like the Abyss want to destroy the seven nations because of the destruction of Khaenri'ah when they hate humans?
Dainsleif: Well, enough chit-chat. We should get back to business. I will go take care of the remaining Abyss Order members in the area. Try and keep your visit with Boreas brief. Afterward, let's meet at the entrance to Wolvendom.
And then Dainslief left us.
Paimon: Oh... There he goes...
Kallen: Again...
Paimon: What a strange man.
Aether: I can kind of see where he's coming from.
Paimon: Yeah, that's true. You also keep your guard up against unfamiliar gods. At the Rite of Descension in Liyue, your decision was very similar to what Dain would do...
Aether: When there's a lack of trust, it's best to just avoid the situation entirely...
Paimon: *sigh* Not the easiest situation...
Jean: Honorary Knights! ELFS! Paimon! What are you doing here?
Jean came to us.
Paimon: Oh, Master Jean! So glad we found you.
Paimon: Rosaria told us that you came here to fight the Abyss Order, so we came to help.
Jean: Then your help is greatly appreciated. The Abyss Order's sudden offensive is very strange, they have surrounded Wolvendom. I am preparing to send out some knights to fight back.
Jean noticed Liliya and Rozaliya.
Jean: Who are those two?
Seele: The last two missing members of our party. Liliya and Rozaliya.
Liliya: Greetings Master Jean.
Rozaliya: Hello!
Seele: Anyways what are you doing out here?
Jean: I just scouted out all of Wolvendom... but I did not see you. Rosaria told me that the Abyss Order is going after Boreas. But the Abyss Order and Boreas... What is the connection between them?
Paimon: They just like to cause trouble. Do they really need a reason?
Patrick: The same reason with Dvalin.
Paimon: The Abyss Order already went after Dvalin, it's not too surprising that they would also go after another one of the Anemo Archon's buddies.
Jean: Hmm... That is true... Regardless, whether the reason behind the present threat is clear or not, I'll handle the situation. Honorary Knights, please go and check if Lupus Boreas is in any danger. This god's spirit... he does not often see people. But I hear that you have met him before.Maybe it is best that you are also the ones to meet him this time.
Aether: We'll do it.
Bronya: We will protect Boreas.
Jean: Okay, be careful. Thank you for your help, Honorary Knights of Favonius.
As Jean left us, we draw out our weapons again and charged in taking out members of the Abyss Order making our way to Boreas. Just as we approached the arena, we saw Razor, Boreas, and... the Abyss Herald.
Paimon: *gasp* Look over there, it's Razor! And... the Abyss Herald!
Patrick: Lets jump in!
Kiana: And save Razor and Boreas!
We jumped into the arena all at once.
Razor: You... not welcome here!
Everyone: Razor!
We approached Razor.
Razor: You guys?
Captain: You don't have to worry anymore Razor, because we are here.
Patrick: Along with two more.
Rozaliya: I am Rozaliya!
Liliya: I am Liliya!
Abyss Herald: Ahahaha... So, the wolf's wretched spirit likes to raise wild pups now? You claim to be a guardian, yet your once-sharp claws have clearly dulled since your days of godly glory. If you serve us, we can restore your divine powers you once held in the past.
Boreas: Lies... lies...
Paimon: What the heck is this ceremony? He looks like he's in a lot of pain.
Oh no... Is this the same thing they did to corrupt Dvalin's mind?
Patrick: It looks like it.
Razor: Wolves never surrender. But... this can't go on.
Aether: Time for another round with the Abyss Herald.
Kiana: Round Two!
Abyss Herald: No matter how many times you resist us, your efforts are all in vain...
Patrick: No they're not!
We all drew our weapons to fight against the Abyss Harold then he summoned lots of Hilichurls and Abyss Mages.
Durandal: Attack!
https://youtu.be/1l99LcW1Ogg
We charged in and took on members of the Abyss Order.
Bronya summoned HOMUs to defend Boreas.
Bronya: Do not worry Boreas. We will set you free and protect you.
Sakura: How do we free him?
Boreas: Defeat him and I will be free.
Sakura: Yes Boreas.
A Cryo Hilichurl was about to hit Sakura but she blocked with her sword then she cut it in half.
Sakura: Crimson Naraka.
Sakura did a slash then sheathed her sword and sparks came off the hilichurls behind her. Then she slashed through them multiple times before they blew up after she sheathed her sword.
Seele and Rita used their scythes and blew up two Abyss Mages. Kiana and Kallen did a double kick together kicking an Abyss Mage in the face then cutting it in half with their swords. Mei sent an Electro energy slash at a group of hilichurl archers destroying them. Theresa sent a barrage of Electro spears at the Abyss Herald but it deflected them all.
Abyss Herald: You are weak. Little girl.
Theresa got provoked.
Theresa: I'll show you that I'm more than just a little girl!
Theresa flash steps behind the Abyss Herald stabbing it with a spear from the Oath of Judah's chains
Abyss Herald: Agh!
Theresa: Now!
Himeko delivered a devastating fire slash from her greatsword causing the Abyss Herald to scream in pain and sparks to come off from it.
Razor: My turn!
Razor covered his greatsword with Electro energy and slashed at the Abyss Herald next. It broke free from Theresa's stab and attempted to slash at Theresa only for Theresa to block the attack with two spears from the Oath of Judah. Durandal charged in and stabbed the Abyss Herald with her Lance then pushed him back. Liliya and Rozaliya did slashes at it while doing leap frog. Aether sent a tornado at the Abyss Herald. Captain blew wind at the Abyss Herald. Fu Hua delivered a fury of punches on the Abyss Herald like she was Jotaro and Star Platinum.
Fu Hua: ORA!
Fu Hua's final punch sent the Abyss Herald flying then crashing into the wall. Then she sent a giant orb of chi and Pyro energy landing a direct hit. All the monsters were defeated and the Abyss Herald was down. Finally the chains binding Boreas disappeared and he was free.
Abyss Herald: Hmph... the ceremony was interrupted. How fortunate for you. How does an old spirit have such determined will...? No matter. This is but a small unforeseen variable. Our grand scheme will not be affected.
The Abyss Herald summons a portal and disappears once again.
Paimon: It disappeared again...
Kiana: Just like last time.
Aether: At least we stopped it this time.
Razor: Thank you, you came... just in time.
Mei: You're welcome Razor. It's what we do.
Boreas: Human Lupical... I am ashamed that you must see me in my present state. But still, the Abyss Herald underestimated my strength.
Razor: Lupus Boreas never refused trial. But, scary outsider... not respect trial rules. I, too, didn't see... the trap...
Paimon: Wait... So you mean, the Abyss Order had everything prepared to corrupt Lupus Boreas' mind, then lured him out under the pretense of challenging him in a trial?
Kiana: I guess you're too competitive.
Aether: It's not your fault, Razor.
Razor: Thank you, Aether. In the future, my claws... must get sharper. You... smelled danger, and came here?
Paimon: No, we heard about the danger. Paimon's nose doesn't even know what danger smells like!
Patrick: We can sense but we can't smell.
Paimon: Besides coming to help, we actually have something to ask you about, too. Uh... Excuse us, Mr. Wolf God, do you know anything about the first Field Tiller?
Boreas: I pay no heed to the contraptions of humans. I know not what this "Field Tiller" is, though there was indeed one human-made machine that I can never forget.
Himeko: Let's hear it.
Seele: This is important.
Boreas: It entered into my proving ground by accident, and I mistook it for a challenger. But it could not think, only fight. It was designed as a pure killing machine from top to bottom. I eventually damaged it greatly with one of my attacks. Before it fell to the ground, it fled the proving ground.
Paimon: Hmmm... By the sound of it, it's possible that could have been the very first Field Tiller, right?
Theresa: It must have been.
Aether: Could it spin?
Boreas: Yes. It could spin, leap high into the air, and even shoot fireballs. Although no match for a god, it was stronger than even many who wield Visions.
Kiana: Could it shoot missiles?
Boreas: "Missiles"? I do not know this strange word... As I said, I pay no attention to the contraptions of humans.
Bronya: So it was the first field tiller.
Boreas: It could spin, leap high into the air, and even shoot fireballs. Although no match for a god, it was stronger than even many who wield visions.
Paimon: Fireballs...? Hey, didn't we hear this somewhere else recently as well? Anyway, this pretty much proves that the first Field Tiller came to Mondstadt, doesn't it?
Kallen: It does.
Paimon: It sounds like the first one was way stronger than the mass-produced Ruin Guards that came after. But in this story, it was damaged at the proving ground while fighting the Wolf of the North...
Razor: Don't know... But, did we help?
Paimon: Yes, you were a big help! Thanks! We need to keep investigating something super important. The Abyss Herald may have left but the Abyss's forces are still attacking. You two be careful!
Razor: Yes. I smell... more danger. Bigger danger. You, also be careful.
Durandal: We will.
Paimon: Well that was some good intel, quick let's go tell Dain!
We found Dainslief near the teleport waypoint.
Paimon: Dain, there you are. Did you see Master Jean?
Dainsleif: I saw her, but purposely avoided her.
Durandal: Why did you avoid her?
Dainsleif: As both the Lionfang Knight and the Acting Grand Master, she naturally would have some reservations towards me. If I'm not careful, one day I may find myself becoming the object of one of her investigations. But back to the matter at hand... I defeated some of the Abyss forces but wasn't able to gather any information. Did you have more success?
We told Dainsleif what we learned from the spirit of Lupus Boreas...
Dainsleif: I see... Well then, we can more or less figure out where the first Field Tiller ended up.
Paimon: Huh? Really? Just from the Lupus Boreas story?
Dainsleif: That information combined with a more comprehensive analysis. For example, the old story you told me you heard in the Cathedral...
Everyone: "The Tyrant's Final Fury"!
Dainsleif: Exactly, the strange story told to you by that young sister, long mistaken to be a curse rained down by a deceased tyrant.
Aether: The ancient people of Mondstadt wouldn't have seen the fireballs for what they were...
Paimon: Ah, Paimon get's it! So "The Tyrant's Final Fury" was really just missiles fired from the Field Tiller after it ran from Wolvendom! After it was damaged in the fight with the Wolf of the North, it must have wandered into the ruins of Old Mondstadt and stayed there... Then, whenever anyone got close — PEW, PEW, BOOM! It would fire a ton of missiles at them... Until one day, it finally broke down for good, and the fireballs stopped raining from the sky. Back then, the people of Mondstadt hadn't seen many Ruin Guards before, so they came to interpret it as "The Tyrant's Final Fury."
Dainsleif: It looks like we need to make a trip to Stormterror's Lair and comb the entire area.
Aether: No need.
Dainsleif: Hmm. What do you mean...?
Aether: I... I remember.
Paimon: Huh? You mean...
Paimon: Ohh, Paimon remembers, too! We saw that abandoned Ruin Guard sitting atop the tower when we went there before! Can't forget something like that!
Patrick: That Ruin Guard when we were going up to face against Dvalin.
Kiana: It must still be there.
(Stormterror's Lair)
We flew back to Stormterror's Lair. Toriyama landed on top of the tower where we got off and got to the field tiller.
Paimon: This is it, right? Okay then, use your Elemental Sight to look for the eye!
We used our Elemental Sight.
Paimon: Ooooh... So what did you see?
Patrick: ...Nothing...
Kiana: We didn't see anything.
Rita: It's like it's empty.
Paimon: Huh? ...Nothing? But Paimon was so excited... What's going on...? Are you sure you did it right?
Dainsleif: This requires another method.
Seele: Another method?
Dainsleif: Using Elemental Sight on a Field Tiller is of no use because it is not powered by the elements.
Dainsleif: Let me give it a try.
Dainsleif conjures magic and searches.
Dainsleif: ...And done.
The eye of the Field Tiller appears.
Paimon: Wowwww! It's, it's the...!
Dainsleif: The very thing the Abyss Herald has been seeking all along — the eye of the first Field Tiller. All of the Ruin Guards today are just replicas of this machine. As the prototype, its combat capability was unrestricted.
Paimon: "Prototype"? ...Paimon doesn't know that word, is it another ancient term from Khaenri'ah?
Theresa: No. It's a term used for first models of something, especially machines and devices, from which other forms are improved, modified, and reworked into new improved models.
Dainsleif: As the Abyss Order has surmised, if this eye is placed in the hands of the Defiled Statue... And if the limbs of Osial, Overlord of the Vortex, are attached to the statue... there you have a mechanized god. And this newly born god will have the power to "topple the divine thrones of Celestia".
Aether: What an extreme and dangerous operation.
Patrick: The Abyss Order must be stopped.
Dainsleif: Yes.
Paimon: Th—Then... What should we do with this eye?
Aether: Hide it somewhere no-one will find it.
Dainsleif: No. I'll guard it myself.
Paimon: Huh!? You!? Dain... You won't go and do anything crazy with it, will you?
Dainsleif: You may doubt me if you wish, but I must ensure it does not fall into the wrong hands.
Patrick: For a while you will find it, until the Abyss Order will take it from you by force and by any means necessary.
Dainsleif: No matter where we may hide it, they will find it. And as for the Church of Favonius — well, you know I don't trust them.
Paimon: Oh, hehe... right...
Dainsleif: But our work isn't done yet. To avoid any further repercussions, we must also take care of that Defiled Statue.
Aether: By doing what, exactly?
Bronya: Can we let the Church take care of this one?
Dainsleif: We can't have the Church get involved. Let's handle it ourselves. As for what I mean by take care of it... naturally, I mean to completely destroy it.
Paimon: D—Destroy it!? That's a Statue of The Seven! As well as being a important cultural relic, they're actually divine, too...
Paimon: Ugh, well, good thing we didn't tell Barbara earlier. Otherwise, she'd be going completely bonkers right now!
Theresa: Plus, Barbara will have the same reaction if she finds out that a Statue of the Seven has been destroyed like how she saw the Holy Lyre destroyed.
Dainsleif: Hmph... Do The Seven really expect me to help them look after what belongs to them?
Theresa: Maybe... but maybe no...
Dainsleif: Let's go back to those ruins and destroy the inverted statue. If we are lucky, we will also run into that Abyss Herald. I'll make sure it doesn't get away this time.
Durandal: Then we kill it.
(Liyue)
We flew back to the location of the dungeon.
Toriyama: Be careful.
Patrick: We will master.
I opened the portal and sent Toriyama back to his home.
Patrick: It must be done so we can keep Teyvat safe from the Abyss Order.
We entered back into the dungeon and ran down with Dainsleif.
Paimon: So, after all that running around, we end up right back here again...
Seele: Better hope that chamber isn't giving off anymore dark energy anymore.
Paimon: Look at us... We barely escaped this place last time, and now we're strolling right back in!
Bronya: We have no choice. We need to go back in.
Patrick: We need to make sure that the Abyss Order's plans do not succeed.
Paimon: Gee, surely we must be some of the bravest adventurers in all of Teyvat! That or the stupidest...
https://youtu.be/bWD06lZnKqU
Sakura: Yeah yeah. It still gives me a headache.
Patrick: I got your headache.
And out of nowhere, I grabbed Sakura's fox ears.
Sakura: Huh?! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
She screamed in pleasure.
Sakura: Why you!
Sakura attempted to slash me with her sword but I jumped back.
Sakura: Dumb***! Do that again and I'll slash you in half!
Higokumaru touched her own fox ears while Liliya and Rozaliya touched their horns.
Patrick: *laughing*.
Captain: Brother you got balls of steel. No joke.
Aether: Very funny.
Paimon: To get to that creepy statue... We just need to follow the path we used to escape last time. That should take us right back to it... Yep! That'll work. Let's go, and remember to be on your guard.
We used our wind gliders to get down there since the floor collapsed. And when we turned right, we were back in the chamber.
Dainsleif: Looks like we're here. An eerie, lifeless, dark chamber... I understand the evil aura you were describing earlier.
Paimon: Ohhhh... Such a scary place...
Seele: Scary like the last time we were here.
Dainsleif: Be careful to not be overwhelmed by the power of the Defiled Statue— the Abyss Herald, it's here.
From behind us appeared the Abyss Herald.
Abyss Herald: Mwahaha... You sense correctly.
We turned around and drew out our weapons.
Abyss Herald: You are just as vexatious as ever, Dainsleif, enemy of the Abyss! I sense your soul is stained by terrible bloodshed, perhaps from your darkest nightmares. Unless... Huh? Oh, and something far more dangerous! You reek of a corruption familiar to me... Then we are the same. We're both dangerous. But dangers from outside the Abyss Order must be caught and caged...
Dainsleif: Tsk. It is your words that forever reek of corruption...
Kiana: And you are evil. You just won't admit that you are evil.
Kallen: And you are all villains.
Dainsleif: Time to silence you!

The Abyss Herald summoned Abyss Mages then we charged in.
While the Valkyires took on the Abyss Mages. Aether, Captain, and I took on the Abyss Herald with Dainslief. Paimon had to stay out of the crossfires with Book of Fuxi and Higokumaru so they can defend Paimon.
Patrick and Captain: HA!
Captain and I slashed at the Abyss Herald but it blocked our slashes then Aether and Dainsleif strike from the right and left and hit the Abyss Herald on its waists. Captain and I repelled ourselves with Anemo from our feet.
Aether: Windblade!
Then Aether used his Windblade and pushed the Abyss Herald back. I shot fire from my hands but the Abyss Herald put its blades together and blocked the fire.
Then the 4 of us attacked all at once and landed a direct hit. But from the smoke the Abyss Herald slashes at us and we got thrown back.
Bronya: Explosive Ice Puppets "HOMU"!
Bronya summoned a bunch of HOMUs that ran to the Abyss Herald and exploded on the Abyss Herald freezing it giving us the opening we needed. We attacked all at once again. The Abyss Order got blown back to a wall.
Boys: Thanks Bronya!
Bronya: You are most welcome, boys.
The Abyss Herald got up.
Abyss Herald: You'll all pay for that! Die!
The Abyss Herald didl its spin attack charging at us. But we dodged the attack then unleashed our attacks on the Abyss Herald but it counter attacks our attacks with its blades. The Abyss Herald does the same spin attack but then Durandal slammed against the Abyss Herald with her lance and knocked it away.
Durandal: That's all the Abyss Mages. Now lets attack all at once and finish him off!
Everyone: Right!
We all got into position standing side by side and charged up our attacks
Patrick: Fire Dragon Slash!
Kiana: Cryo Arrow!
Mei: Electro Slash!
Bronya: Cryo Beam!
Seele: Quantum Hydro Slash!
Theresa: Electro Spears!
Captain: Anemo Blast!
Fu Hua: Pyro Phoenix!
Liliya and Rozaliya: Vodka Choppa!
Sakura: Crimson Naraka!
Kallen: Raven Carnival!
Rita: Rave of Artemis!
Durandal: Dendro Spear!
Our attacks hit the Abyss Herald and caused a huge explosion and the Abyss Herald to scream in pain. Then there was smoke.
Seele: Did that finish it?
Dainsleif: No. Abyss Heralds have survived worse.
From the smoke came Hydro slashes which caused us all to dodge and scatter. The Abyss Herald came out of the smoke looking even more angrier.
Abyss Herald: I'm going to kill you all!
Then it charged in but was blocked by Durandal who then pushed the Abyss Herald back.
We kept on fighting the Abyss Herald till it had enough and opened a portal. The Abyss Harold tried to escape but Dainsleif stopped him by holding it in some kind of magic psychic grasp. Theresa helped Dainsleif by using her Oath of Judah by firing the chains and wrapping the chains around the Abyss Harold.
Theresa: You won't escape! We're not letting you get away!
Theresa began to reel the Abyss Harold back with the chains.
But then someone rushed in and launched an attack at Dainsleif and cut the chains. Dainsleif and Theresa jumped back.
The person revealed to be...
Lumine.
Aether was full of shock and disbelief. And so were we.
Abyss Herald: Princess.
There she was in the flesh.
Paimon: Hey, c—could that be...?!
Aether: Lumine!
Lumine: Aether...
We saw the two twins staring at each other in person. We were in the middle of a plot twist.
Aether: I've finally found you!
Paimon: W—Wait, Aether... She just blocked an attack against the Abyss Herald...
Jingwai's Wings: No she didn't. She cut off the attack and cut the chains.
Paimon: Your sister, and the Abyss...
Jingwai's Wings: Are working together.
Lumine stared at the rest of us.
Lumine: You must be the Outlanders that have been taking care of my brother. Patrick, Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, Theresa, Himeko, Fu Hua, Captain, Sakura, Kallen, Rita, Durandal, Liliya, Rozaliya, Jingwai's Wings, Blood Embrace, Selune's Elegy, Book of Fuxi, and Higokumaru.
Theresa: How do you know our names?
Lumine: I've been watching you all and the Abyss mages have told me who you are and your names.
Kiana: So you have been watching us.
Lumine: Aether, why are you with Dain?
Aether: ...What?
Paimon: Huh?
Seele: What are you talking about?
Aether in mind: We've been separated for so long...
Paimon: Your sister... knows Dain, Aether?
Rozaliya: They've already met?
Liliya: They are already acquainted?
Dainsleif: ... Lumine. We meet again.
Patrick, Captain, Valkyries, ELFs, and Higokumaru: HUH?!
Paimon: Wh—What's going on here? Dain knows her, too!
Rita: This is all too dramatic.
Durandal: How do you know him?
Lumine: You shouldn't team up with this man.
Patrick: Why not?
Lumine: Because... He is my enemy.
Patrick, Captain, ELFS, Higokumaru, and Valkyries: You're enemy?
Dainsleif: Lumine...
Aether: Hold on a second!
Kiana: You aren't making any sense!
Mei: We don't know what you're talking about!
Lumine: ... But it must be said... Don't try to stop me. Don't try to stop the Abyss.
Durandal: Why?
Lumine: Because... That man, Dainsleif, was the "Twilight Sword," one of the royal guards of the final dynasty of Khaenri'ah. 500 years ago, he failed to prevent the destruction of Khaenri'ah.
Patrick, Captain, Valkyries ELFS, and Higokumaru: WHAT?!
Lumine: A cruse of immortality was laid upon him, to forever wander the wilderness... while he watched the people he was supposed to protect turn into monsters of the Abyss.
Patrick, Captain, ELFS, Higokumaru, and Valkyries: HUH?!
Paimon: You're saying... Dain is from Khaenri'ah!? The same Khaenri'ah that was destroyed 500 years ago!?
Fu Hua: It was like me when I witnessed the destruction of a civilization 50,000 years ago.
Selune's Elgy: What a plot twist.
Blood Embrace: That answers some of the fans' questions.
Paimon: And you said the people turned into monsters... You're trying to tell Paimon that the Abyss Order is not only related to Khaenri'ah but is actually the people of Khaenri'ah themselves!?
Patrick: This is like in legends.
Fu Hua: And like when humans back in our world get turned into Honkai zombies.
Paimon: Uh... and the whole thing about Dain being your enemy? Ohh... Paimon's so confused...
Seele: I don't know how much more I can take in.
Rita: So the Princess was Aether's sister, Lumine.
Aether: Come with me, Lumine! Let's go home!
Lumine: Home... Yes, of course. "Home" is wherever we are together. But I cannot go with you to the next world to find a new home... at least, not yet. Until the Abyss has engulfed the thrones, my war with destiny will see no end...
Aether: Destiny...?
Fu Hua: Your war with destiny?
Lumine: Listen to me, Aether. I have already traveled through this world once. Once you reach the end of your journey as I did, you will see for yourself the true nature of this world.
The Abyss Herald conjures a portal.
Lumine: So we'll meet again.
Kiana: Wait! We still have some more questions! What happened to you after you were captured by the unknown god?!
Lumine: I can't answer that. It will wait for another time. Though we need not rush, brother. I have more than enough time to wait for you.
Aether begins to run towards Lumine. We did the same thing.
Lumine: We have always... had enough time.
Durandal: You won't escape!
Durandal appeared instantly in front of Lumine in an attempt to grab her but then a blast from the portal shot at Durandal, knocking her back and crashing into us except Aether. Dainsleif dashes after them into the portal, but Aether does not make it in time and just phased through before the portal closes.
Durandal got up then the rest of us did.
Patrick: I told you that there were consequences for going against the plot. Even with everything you have, the plot won't let you go against it.
Durandal: I'll try not to go against the plot the next time.
We looked on over to Aether and Paimon.
Paimon: They... left...
Aether fell to his knees.
Mei: We're sorry Aether. But Lumine has now become our enemy and won't stop till she gets what she wants with the Abyss Order.
Fu Hua: The Princess was Lumine the whole time.
Kiana: We don't know what the Goddess did with her after taking her away or if the Goddess took Lumine to the Abyss Order or if the Abyss Order freed Lumine from the Goddess.
Aether didn't say anything.
Paimon: Oh, don't be too sad, Aether... We'll find them again! Look on the bright side, at least we've got some really useful information!
Aether: I'm... not sad.
Paimon: Really? You sure...?
Aether: No.
Patrick in mind: I'm sure this is how Tanjiro would feel if he and Nezuko went through the same thing.
Paimon: At least now, as well as The Seven, Dain is also a key part of finding your sibling too, right?
Aether: Once we get to Inazuma, we should keep that in mind as we look for more clues.
Theresa: And to prevent the Fatui especially La Signora from stealing another Gnosis.
Paimon: That's right! Um... by the way, what they said just now was all pretty confusing... Did you understand it at all?
Aether: I pretty much got it.
Himeko: We all did.
Paimon: Oh... well then... let's go over it again.
Seele and I took out my journal and her diary to write things down.
We recalled as many details as we could.
Paimon: First off, that Abyss Herald called your sister "Princess". It seems like your sister is leading the Abyss Order, even the Abyss Herald answers to her... Still, we don't know for sure if she's the highest-ranking leader in the organization.
Seele: There could be a god that is the highest ranking leader than Lumine. It could be the unknown Goddess you encountered or some other God or Goddess.
Patrick: There is more to recall. Remember when we were at Stormterror's lair with Dainsleif and when you sensed Lumine's presence?
Aether: Yes.
Patrick: She must have been watching us with a Ruin Guard while we were at Stormterror's Lair during the Stormterror Incident.
Paimon: That may be the case.
Mei: It makes perfect sense. That's why you felt Lumine's presence at Stormterror's Lair.
Kiana: She didn't want to reveal herself to you yet.
Paimon: Also, your sister said that she wants to "engulf the thrones" and go to "war with destiny." What the heck does that mean? ...Could it be that she wants to destroy The Seven and the seven nations?
Himeko: Thats a possibility.
Kallen: She wants to engulf the nations' thrones...
Sakura: ...And to fight against a fated destiny.
Fu Hua: And maybe she wants The Seven gone.
Paimon: Next thing... turns out the Abyss Order monsters are really what the people of Khaenri'ah turned into after their nation was destroyed. This story is just plain terrifying!
Durandal: Like how people in our world get turned into zombies from the Honkai.
Kiana: Just how did the people of Khaenri'ah turn into monsters of the Abyss Order?
Mei: That is a good question.
Captain: You think the gods casted a curse on them that turned them into the monsters?
Mei: Maybe.
Bronya: So many legends we can't think about where people get turned into monsters. Like how people turn into Youkai monsters in Japanese folklore legends.
Seele: And like how humans get turned into wereanimals. Like werewolves, weremoles, wereskunks, and wererabbits.
Theresa: And like getting turned into zombies.
Himeko: And getting placed under a curse.
Rozaliya: Something like in "Beauty and the Beast".
Liliya: And like what happened to Atlantis and Pompeii.
Patrick: And like what happened to Arachne when Athena turned her into a spider for insulting the Greek gods and being better at weaving. And what Athena also did to Medusa by turning her hair into snakes and turning people into stone.
Book of Fuxi: So many civilizations in mythology were wiped out because gods were angry at the civilizations.
Blood Embrace: And gods in mythology punished humans by putting curses on them and turning them into monsters.
Paimon: And Dain is from Khaenri'ah, too! He witnessed its destruction 500 years ago. But... he didn't turn into a monster, and now he's fighting the Abyss Order...
Higokumaru: The sole survivor of Khaenri'ah.
Fu Hua: Similar to myself when I witnessed the destruction of a civilization myself from 50,000 years ago back in our home world.
Paimon: So that's why your sister said that Dain was her enemy, right?
Aether: Yes.
Bronya: That is right.
Seele: She holds a grudge against Dain.
Paimon: But... if the monsters of the Abyss are the same people that Dain protected all those years ago, then why is he enemies with the Abyss Order now?
Mei: He probably wanted nothing to do with the Abyss Order by wanting to exterminate everyone from the Abyss Order.
Kiana: Or he probably wants to protect humanity from the Abyss Order.
Bronya: He wants to put an end to their curse the gods gave them of suffering.
Paimon: Also, how come... after all this time we've spent searching for your sister, it turns out she's on the side of the Abyss. What's up with that?
Patrick: We can't figure it out.
Captain: That we don't know.
Aether: Thinking about it over and over will solve nothing.
Paimon: Yeah, you're right. Then... we can't let ourselves get down about it now, Aether! Our journey's not over yet, let's get a move on! Time to leave this terrible, dark place and get back to the surface, where the sun shines bright.
https://youtu.be/Fi_D97cHcbQ
Patrick: You're right, we should. There is one more thing. Our party is now complete with everyone. We've found everyone who we've been separated from.
Paimon: If your sister wants you to "reach the end of your journey"... Well then, show her what you're made of!
Theresa: As long as you still have us, you won't be alone.
Patrick: You have our Divine Keys.
Jingwai's Wings: And us ELFS.
Higokumaru: And me!
Paimon: And Paimon!
The Valkyries put their hands in the middle. Then me, then Captain, then Higokumaru, then the ELFS, and then Paimon. We motioned Aether to join in. He hesitated but then he put his hand with the rest of our hands in the middle.
Himeko: Together.
Patrick: Together.
Captain: Together.
Paimon: Together.
Aether: Together.
Our Visions and Aether's gems glowed. Finally we put our hands up and when we did that, the elemental symbols appeared and went up.
Durandal: As long as we're all together, there is nothing we can do.
Rita: We're finally back together after being separated for so long.
We held up our weapons high like Knights would do. Then we put our weapons together as we held them up high putting them together.
(1:15)
Theresa: We are the St. Freya Knights and Valkyries. Nothing will block our path!
Kiana: If there's a wall in our way then we'll smash through!
Mei: The flames in our hearts burn brightly!
Everyone: And we won't fall!
A bright light shined above us and blew our hair.
After a few seconds we put our weapons down and put them away.
Paimon: Come on, Travelers, let's go!
Everyone: Yeah!
We put our fists up then proceeded to leave the dungeon.
(Outside)
It was sunset when we got outside.
Kiana: So we're just going to leave the Statue of The Seven down there?
Aether: It would have to be for good.
Rozaliya: And do we or do we not tell anyone that your sister is the Princess?
Aether: No one must know.
Liliya: You got it.
I summoned Toriyama to fly us back to Mondstadt. We got on then he took off back to Mondstadt.
(Einstein's and Tesla's laboratory)
Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele, Fu Hua, Sakura, Kallen, and I went to Einstein and Tesla's laboratory to tell Dr. Einstein and Dr. Tesla everything that happened. Aether and Paimon were there too. We had photographs taken since cameras existed in Teyvat and showed them to the two.
Einstein: So Ruin Guards were actually called Field Tillers.
Tesla: And Dainsleif was from Khaenri'ah.
Tesla-ZERO: Who would of thought that Aether's sister was the princess.
Einstein: We should do some more research on the Ruin Guards and the Ruin Hunters.
Tesla: And on Khaenri'ah and the Abyss Order too.
Tesla-Zero: You are going to ask the Tone-Deaf Bard Venti about Khaenri'ah right?
Kallen: He probably won't say anything.
Paimon: And he's so shady.
Einstein: Kiana. Kallen.
Kiana and Kallen: Yes?
Tesla: We did research on Fatui Bracer weapons and after some building and modifying we managed to make working guns for both of you.
Tesla-ZERO brought over a box which revealed two sets of Cryo guns. Then the two Kaslanas instantly took them.
Kiana: Finally! After having to use swords, crossbows, and close combat we can finally use weapons like these again with our gun-fu!
Kallen: We thought that guns didn't exist in Teyvat well technically they do but not the same guns when they were first invented.
Tesla-ZERO: There is one more box.
Tesla-ZERO brought over another box which revealed a set of guns powered by the elements.
Tesla-ZERO: And these are for you Patrick.
I took them.
Patrick: We still have our Divine Keys like the Judgement of Shamash and the Dragon Guns but using different guns will be nice for a change.
Tesla-ZERO: Anything else to say?
Patrick: Our party is complete now.
Tesla: Now I have to deal with the trouble making twins again.
Mei: Thanks for taking the time to see us.
Einstein: Anytime.
We exited out of the laboratory and headed back to the Inn to go to sleep to see what tomorrow will bring us.
