(Stone Gate)

We were at the border between Mondstadt and Liyue. As we were approaching Dihua Marsh, we now had to carry on foot then I sent Toriyama back.

At the teleport waypoint we took in the sight of Dihua Marsh from Stone Gate.

Seele: So this is Liyue. And over there must be Wangshu Inn.

Patrick in mind: After so much time, we're finally in Liyue. As adventurers and travelers we travel to new places for a lot of reasons. And since we're a party it's more fun when you're together with friends and family. Fu Hua and the Captain are here in Liyue, so we better find them.

(Dihua Marsh)

We walked down the stone steps and went in the direction where Wangshu Inn was. But first we went to a Statue of The Seven that had a different design. Instead of giving off Anemo energy it was giving off Geo energy.

When we touched the statue we felt the power of Geo. The gems on Aether's outfit changed from green to yellow.

Paimon: Did... did you just feel the power of Geo?

Patrick: Yes we did.

Paimon: Your connection to the elements is so different from the Vision bearers'! Seems like you all can physically switch between elements...

Patrick in mind: I didn't see this in the beta test. Instead of using more than one element, the traveler switches between elements. I was so stupid... but this doesn't change the fact that I can still use more than one element. I can see that this comes as a shock to the girls. I better speak with Kiana, Mei, Bronya, and Seele. Because if I take all the girls, Aether and Paimon will get suspicious of us.

Paimon: If so, then you just need to make an offering to a Statue of the Seven and the elements will respond — just like they did in Mondstadt. We're now in Liyue, which is ruled over by the Geo Archon. That's why the statues here look a bit different. If you ever miss using your Anemo powers, you can just get them back from a statue of the Seven in Mondstadt.

The girls and I excluding Himeko and Theresa went a distance from them to talk about the elements.

Patrick: I did not see this in the beta test videos.

Kiana: The traveler can only use one element and switch between elements so the traveler is not overpowered by using multiple elements all at once. How could you not see this part?

Patrick: I don't know. I was too focused on getting to the cutscenes in Liyue Harbor that I didn't see this one coming.

Mei: What about this? How are we going to deal if someone sees us using multiple elements all at once?

Patrick: I suppose... I could have you girls switch between elements without having to go to the statues to keep them stored away and continue to only use the starting elements we were given. Kiana: We better keep going to Wangshu Inn. We better ask the people there if they've seen Fu Hua and the Captain.

We arrived at Wangshu Inn. It was on a giant stone piller. It had steps and a rope elevator.

Theresa: Alright, since the Rite of Descension isn't in two days, we have a lot of time to explore Liyue and to find our missing friends and family. We might as well stay here for two days.

Himeko: We have our missing posters with us. We should show them around to everyone here, but first we better check in.

We went up the elevator and then to the front desk to check in.

Verr Goldet: Hello! Very nice to meet you ladies and gentlemen. How can I help you?

Himeko: There's something we'd like to ask before checking in.

Himeko laid out missing posters we made of our missing friends and families.

Himeko: My associates and I are trying to find these people on the missing posters. Have you seen them before?

Verr Goldet: I think I'd like you to check in first before answering your question.

Himeko: Then three rooms for two nights.

Theresa dropped some Mora on the counter for Verr Goldet to collect then she handed us three room keys.

Verr Goldet: Never seen them before.

After checking into our rooms, we asked the people who work for the place and the people who were staying in the inn but none of them knew where our friends and family were. Now we were were at a table having green tea and whatever dishes the inn had.

Patrick in mind: Fu Hua and the Captain are here in Liyue, I know that they are.

Aether in mind: Better hope that the Geo Archon knows where my sister is. There has to be someone who has seen Lumine.

Theresa in mind: Fu Hua has lived through ancient times in China before. So she must be somewhere in a higher place in Liyue.

Yuhua: These are the missing people huh? I've never seen them before.

Smiley Yanxiao: I'm sorry kids, but these missing people don't look familiar.

Himeko: We see. Sorry to bother you.

Patrick: Let's go. We'll try again later.

We finished our dishes then headed back inside then went to the upper balcony.

???: I happen to know where four of your little friends and family are.

One person caught our attention. Leaning against the wooden railing was a boy in green and white. This was feeling like when the Stardust Crusaders met Daniel J. D'Arby while in Cairo. This person was Xiao.

Xiao: To be honest with you, I've seen them before.

Patrick in mind: So that's Xiao. What I've seen in the beta tests, he acts cold towards the traveler and Paimon. But why is he telling us that he's seen four of our missing friends and family?

We instantly rushed towards him.

Kiana: Really?! Which ones?!

Xiao: I happened to see the girl with grey hair with the boat master. I also saw the Shrine Maiden with long pink hair and fox ears followed by another girl with white hair and the same dress just like you.

Patrick: Where did you see them?

Xiao: The last time I saw the sage and the boat master was when they were going to the mountains while I saw the fox girl and priestess coming from Inazuma to visit the villages around Liyue.

Seele: Thank you for your help sir. We'll be on our way now.

Seele turned and left at a fast pace then we followed her to catch up to her. 

Once we got far away enough from Wangshu Inn, I summoned Toriyama so we can fly us to the mountains then he took off with us onboard his back.
