I laid on the ground of the infinite void,that is my mind as I listened to my companion yell at Me from the other side of the invisible wall,that separates us both,the massive dragon clawed at the invisible wall as it telepathically spoke with Me while I calmly laid on the ground,unamused of her little tantrum

Bella:how do you know,that name!?!?,tell Me!!,now!!

Seere:why do you seem so panicked about it

Bella:no one except my Queen should know,that name

Seere:ahahahaha-

Bella:what are you laughing at,Worm

Seere:haha,sorry but you've heavily underestimated Me

Bella:what are you talking about

Seere:face it Bella-

Bella:DO NOT!!!,CALL ME BY,THAT NAME!!!

Seere:fine,Benares,but face it,you never had a chance against Me from the beginning,you know nothing about Me,you know nothing about,what I can do,not even your Pseudo Herrscher form,can come close to beating Me,NOT EVEN your queen can beat Me

Bella:SILENCE,your the one,who knows nothing,when she escapes her prison,she will wreak havoc everything burn humanity to the ground

Seere:you think she can escape?,don't make Me laugh,even in my current state,I am making it almost impossible for her to try and take Kiana's body,what gave you the impression,that she could ever escape

Benares:you insignificant fool,she is the Herrscher of the Void,do you think your petty attempts to confine her will last?,she will get out one day and when that day come,she will-

Seere:get it through your head already,your so called Queen,is locked up in Kiana's mind by both my power and her will,your current Master doesn't even know,you've been captured by us and your in condition to fight,escape or even fly

Benares:you don't know that-

Seere:just stop,I know it for a fact and your not fooling Me or anyone for,that matter-

I stood up and opened my eyes as I fixed myself and faced the giant dragon,that was on the opposite side as Me as I looked into it's large pink eyes while it stared back at Me as it growled with a low tone

Seere:I know about the 2nd Honkai war,I know about the Babylon Tower experiments,I know about Sirin's origins,I know about Your origins,and I may not have been born in,that era but I am all too aware of the truth and all of it's details,so tell Me,Benares,do still think,I don't know anything

the Honkai Dragon reeled back as it a few steps backwards away from Me as I watched and felt the fear build up in it,Benares was clearly taken a back from my statement as I stared at the Dragon with a unbending and unwavering will,backing Me up while Benares stood there in shock

Benares:no,you shouldn't have this knowledge,this was over 25 years ago,how!?!?

Seere:like I said,you know nothing of,what I can do and what I know,I know much much much more,than you think ,there is nothing left you can do against Me

Benares:no,my Master will come,once she finds out about my capture,she will-

Seere:for the love of the gods,Benares,get it through your head,no one is coming for you,your Master works for the World Serpent,an organization that tries to destroy all of the Honkai and YOUR a Honkai Dragon,do you think they'll risk losing their Herrscher for an asset,their trying to destroy

Benares:I-

it couldn't respond,it knew all to well,that I was right and there was nothing it could say,that would change,that fact as the giant Dragon in front of Me lowered its head and curled up on itself as it laid on the ground,like Me before

I honestly felt pity having to reveal to it,the truth,she has been blinded by her undivided loyalty to her Masters since her creation,to them,she was nothing more than an extra tool in the box,easily disposable once the uses are fulfilled,that was the fact,that she could never see and it was the fact,that her previous Masters were willing to exploit to no end

the Herrscher of the Void really did care for her though,but it did not hide the fact,that she was all too ready to get rid of her when it suited her own plans,but for Me,I saw something different,I saw an indispensable asset,not a tool but a person,that could use a bit of freedom of her own

I walked passed the invisible wall with no hindrance,catching Benares's attention immediately as she turned her head towards Me

Seere:listen to Me,Benares,you've been blinded by your loyalty your whole life and now,you know,that for fact-

Benares:what's your point

Seere:don't you think,it's about time,you start making YOUR decisions

Benares:cut to the chase already

Seere:make a pact with Me,with it you'll be able to sever the fact you have with Mei,after that,I can let you go free

Benares:what makes you different from them

Seere:the difference is,you'll get to make the choice this time

Benares:.........?

Seere:I won't force you to make the pact,I just want to make sure,Mei can't call you back to fight,when it suits her,whether you make the pact,I'll set you free,after that,your choices are yours to make

Benares:why,are you going to such lengths for Me

Seere:it helps Me and everyone,including you,if your out of the picture,we'll have a lot less on our backs and you'll get a taste of freedom,the feeling to make your choices,I'd say,that a fair deal

Benares:.............................to make my own choices,huh,that is your offer

Seere:no shady business,no drawbacks,no repercussions,the choice is your,just as it should be

Benares:...........................fine,I'll make the pact,have your energy flow through Me and be done with it 

Seere:it's a deal then

Benares lowered her head to Me as I raised my arm to her head and placed my hand on her scales,I then started t channel my energy into her as my Quantum Energy flowed through Me,into my arm and hand,then into her as the effects of the pact began to quickly take effect 

her appearance changed from her red and purple look into a white and dark blue color scheme,highly resembling her original Dragon form as her eyes returned their pink color for a second before switching to a dark blue color,her wings went back to their white and light blue and her scales returned to their white color,she then raised her head back up,away from Me as I retracted and lowered my hand as I stared into Benares's eyes while she stared into mine

Bella:this energy,you've put into Me,it is not Honkai Energy?

Seere:no,it's Quantum Energy,quite different isn't it

Bella:I suppose

Seere:I'll be able to keep track of you likeyou previous Masters but my Energy will also conceal you from Honkai sensors and trackers,making invisible to detection

Bella:I see,then we're done here

Bella curled back up on herself and turned away from me as I contently sighed to myself and turned my back to the giant dragon,I walked back past the invisible wall and laid down on my back again as I closed my eyes and went to sleep to let my mind rest with my body as silence filled the void in my mind

In the real world

I slowly opened my eyes to see a white flat surface above Me with a very bright light,I squinted and readjusted my vision as I turned my head to look around the place,I was in,after a few moments of looking,I found,that I was in some kind of hospital or more likely,the Hyperion's medical bay

I was laying down on a medical bed with a thin white blanket covering Me,I was only wearing my shirt while my jacket was neatly folded on a nearby chair,I was still wearing my necklace but had my shoes off while my scythe was no where to be seen

I gsat up on my bed while almost falling back down due to my lack of strength as I felt my lack of energy and heavy body pull Me back down onto the bed,however,I was able t keep myself up with a little support with my hands as I got my bearings in order and fixed myself a bit

I tried to teleport my jacket to Me but failed miserably as I couldn't muster up,enough Quantum Energy to make the shift,I tried again but this time while absorbing some nearby Quantum Energy in the air as a Quantum Ripple took my jacket and spat it back out into my hand as I quickly put it on

I looked to the side of the bed and find my shoes below Me as I removed the blanket and tossed my legs over the side,I hopped off the bed as my feet made contact with the cold floor while I grabbed my shoes from under the bed and quickly put them on,as I continued to absorb the surrounding Quantum Energy

I fixed myself up one more time before heading to the door and exiting the room,the hallway on the outside was empty as I walked along the hall while heading to the Hyperion's bridge,as I walked,my thoughts went back to my deal with Benares as I checked on her location by locking onto my energy,that flowed through her

judging by the location of the energy,she was still on the deck of the Hyperion,meaning the Quantum Chains I wrapped around her were doing their jobs,despite that though,I was a bit worried as her Honkai Energy was still a bit low and was regenerating much slower,than it should be,it could be because of her wound but it could also have been because of my own energy

I thought about it for a minute or two before dropping the thought as the door to the bridge opened,revealing the whole of Squad 6 and Principal Theresa inside,they seemed to be the onlys there while the crew was nowhere to be seen as I went in,immediately catching their surprised attention

Himeko:Seere,what are you doing here,you should be in the medical bay

Theresa:head back immediately,you need more rest

Seere:hey,don't count Me out of the fight just yet,my bodies already healing faster than most,I'll be fine,I just need a few minutes to restore my Quantum Energy,then I'll be good to go

Kiana:you body heals,that fast?

Seere:being a guardian of the Sea of Quanta and dong the training needed to be a guardian has it perks 

Himeko:if you say so

Seere:so,any updates on Benares

Himeko:not much,she's still on the deck but-

the Major pointed out the window of the bridge as I walked to the front of the room and looked out the window,there I saw Benares,who was laying on the deck,wrapped by the Quantum Chains I summoned before I collapsed,he wounds have seemed to have healed already but she seemed a bit weak,her appearance had also changed to the exact same color scheme I saw in my mind,when I sent my Quantum Energy through her as she laid on the deck while lowly growling on occasion,which gave Me the impression,that she was sleeping

Himeko:her colors changed while you were asleep

Kiana:it looks like the same stle,when the Herrscher of the Void was controlling her

Theresa:any idea,why this happened

Seere:I'm going to be honest here,the change was because of Me

Bronya:what does Subject Seere mean

Seere:while I was asleep,I was talking to Benares telepathically

Kiana:wait,you mean through your mind,right?

Seere:yes,I made a pact with her

Theresa:YOU WHAT!?!?

Himeko:what do you mean,you made a pact with her?-,...wait her?

Seere:yes,Benares is a her and by pact,I mean she's bound to Me,I have my own energy flowing through her

Kiana:so you can control Benares?!?

Seere:technically yes

Bronya:Seele is going to be surprised

Theresa:forget that,we have a dragon on our side,do you understand how much help that is,Bronya

Himeko:yah,with  Benares on our side,we cut through most of enemies forces before we arrive

Seere:technically no

Theresa:huh?,why not?

Seere:part of the deal I made with Benares to make the pact was,before we get back to HQ,I'll be setting her free

Himeko:YOUR WHAT!?!?!

Kiana:hold on,why make a pact with her,if you just going to set her free?

Seere:I made a pact with her to sever her pact with Mei,this way,the Herrscher of Thunder can't call for her aid,when it suits her,Benares will never have to fight again

Theresa:ok but,what's stopping her from going on a rampage on her own

Seere:Me,I can keep tabs on her since my energy is flowing through her,I know her exact location at all times

Theresa:*grunts*and here I thought we could have a cool Honkai Dragon fight for us

Seere:she's fought enough,I think it's fair if we leave her out of the future fights and let her be

Himeko:alright,but what do we tell the Overseer then,we can't say we just let her go

Seere:we'll tell him,that I brought down Benares for capture but on the way back,she died due to lack of strength and her body decomposed into Honkai particles,leaving nothing behind

Bronya:the Bronya,likes this plan,Seele would like it too

Seere:I know she would

I raised my arm towards Benares and opened my hand as in my mind,I gave the command to the chains around her,to release her and return to the Quantum Sea,the chains immediately obeyed,fulling knowing,that it was Me,giving the order as they released their grip on the Dragon and sunk back into the Quantum Ripple,they came out of

Benares roared lowly  without moving an inch,confusing all of us as we watched her lay on the deck,unmoving from her spot

Himeko:uhh,she's not moving

Theresa:maybe she's dead and we on't have to lie to Grandpa

Seere:no,I can still feel her Energy,she's just not leaving

Kiana:maybe she's still too tired to leave

Bronya:the Idiotka has a point,Subject Seere did do a lot of damage to Benares

Seere:hmmm,maybe,I guess we can just wait it out,maybe she'll leave in a little bit,for now I'm going to the cafeteria,I want some food

Theresa:it is almost noon after all

Kiana:I'm coming with you then,I want some lunch too

Himeko:let's all just go then

Bronya:da

we all then left the bridge as Kiana speedily rushed out of the room and dashed for the cafeteria,the others followed behind her as I took one last look at Benares,who still didn't move from her spot before leaving to join the others in the cafeteria

so yeah,I got her this morning and I love her damage output already,need to get her stigmatas though but I'm out of crystals,I have her weapon though,so there's that

after our lunch,we went back to the bridge as they Hyperion came closer and closer to Schicksal HQ,I was sitting down near the window as I looked at Benares,who still didn't budge from her spot,she didn't seem injured and her energy levels had already returned to nromal,mening she could fly but she didn't,she didn't even seem to want or try to leave

I was so confused as to why she didn't just leave as she seemed so intent on doing so,when we talked in our mind but now,she didn't even try to move as I continued to ponder about,why she hasn't left yet

that was when the rest of the girls,that I fought with,approached Me as they also looked towards Benares with a serious but also confused look

Himeko:she still hasn't left

Seere:I know,her energy levels are back to normal and she isn't injured,but she hasn't left yet,she's just-,...sitting there

Theresa:whatever the reason is,it might not concern us,we're nearing HQ,maybe we should just leave her be and have Grandpa deal with her

Kiana:yah,I mean,if she doesn't want to leave,then it's her fault for getting captured by Otto

Bronya:mmm,the Bronya agrees

the girls then left to most likely prepare for our arrival at HQ as I could already feel,Otto's and my Sister's energy in the distance,along with Durandal's and Rita's and a bunch of other smaller Honkai Signatures,I didn't move from my spot though as I continued to look at Benares

I took a quick glance,behind Me and to my sides to see if any of the girls were looking and thankfully,they weren't as I slyly Quantum fluttered out of the bridge and onto the deck as I appeared right in front of Benares

the giant Dragon lifted her head and opened her eyes as she looked at Me with her big pink eyes,there was a sense of boredom and neutrality,I was sensing from Benares but that didn't matter Me right now as I used some of my energy to make a psychic link with Benares,when the link connected,I felt myself get dizzy for a split second as our minds connected 

Seere(mind):why haven't you left yet-

Benares:.................

Seere(mind):your window is closing fast,if you leave any later,they'll see you leave

Benares:I decided-

Seere(mind):what?

Benares:I've decided to stay

Seere(mind):what!?,why?

Benares:I put some thought into this and I've decided to stay here and serve

Seere(mind):That doesn't answer my question

Benares:you are different,very different,your a human but you're able to show compassion to Honkai like Me,your knowledge,exceeds my previous Master while your powers are far greater than,my Queen,but despite that,you wished to set Me free

Seere:(mind):I did,so why didn't you take the freedom I've offered

Benares:I did,THIS was MY choice,it was ME,who made this decision and so I will stay and serve my new Master

I was honestly,taken aback from Benares's statement as I stared at the Honkai Dragon in front of Me,who seemed to have a newly made resolve,I didn't think she would actually stay,I thought she would have gladly left and stayed out of the fight as her behaviour,when we talking in my head properly expressed that,but she had just openly admitted,that she wanted to stay 

I sighed to myself and smiled as I looked Benares in the eyes,I couldn't argue with what she had said,and it was not my place to,she considered Me,her new master but I considered her to be free,so I'll just have to look for common ground

Seere(mind):welp,I can't argue with that logic,you can stay then

Benares:whatever it is you wish for Me to do,I shall fulfill it,your will is my command

Seere(mind):I told you,your free now,free to do what it is YOU want to-

Benares:this IS,what I want to do,I told you already,I gave this some thought and what I want to do is,to serve my new Master,so do not hesitate to give the hardest of order to Me

Seere(mind):*sigh*seems like your mind is made up,so I won't push you but don't expect much from Me,I'm not one to give orders to others

Benares:I will keep it in mind,Master

Seere(mind):alright,and since you'll be under my care,I'll do,what I can to get Shicksal off your back

Benares:there is no need to trouble yourself to protect Me,Master,

Seere(mind):no,your under my care,my jurisdiction and my protection,if anyone wants to get to you,they'll have to go through Me 

Benares:..................you truly are something else,Master

Seere(mind):I get that a lot but enough of that,I'm heading back in,we're almost at HQ

Benares:very well,I shall remain here

after my final remark,I teleported back into the bridge,just in time to see the girls,finish preparing themselves as I walked towards them,they didn't seem to notice,that I left as we casually left the bridge like nothing had happened as we headed through the Hyperion and down to the storage bays,where the entrance was

once the bay doors opened,we saw the mass amounts of mechas outside,lined up and fully ready to fight,along with a lot of the Valkyries,present on the base with their weapons loaded and sharpened,among the Valkyries,was of coures,Rita,Durandal and Seele,who were also ready for a fight,infront of the 3 was of course,Otto himself,who has probably come personally,to see the "captured" Benares

the Hyperion deployed a the cargo ramp as Me and the whole of Squad 6 with Principal Theresa,walked down the ramp to meet with everyone,once we reached the bottom of the ramp,we were greeted by everyone as Otto and his supposed,top 3 came over to us and greeted us as well

Otto:excellent work out there,Squad 6,it's good to know,that your performance on the field has not dulled since the last time you were given a major mission 

Himeko:felt good to be back on the field,Overseer

Otto:I'm sure,and can I assume,that Benares is still alive and still in captivity

Theresa:yes,Benares is on the deck of the Hyperion and still in captivity

Otto:excellent,the forces,that will move her are already here,so you all can go and rest for the rest of the day,as for you,Seere,your overall performance for your first mission back was-

Otto stopped mid sentence as I wasn't even listening to anything,he was saying as I was being questioned by my Sisters about my health,since I did collapse after bringing Benares down,my newSquad and the Overseer and his personal best were just staring at us as Otto pulled the fake cough move,catching both of our attentionas we both looked over to him

Seere:oh,looks like the old man is done talking to his Granddaughter,we'll contiue our talk later,alright

Seele:ok then

Otto:as I was saying,your overall performance was-

Seere:just stop,this isn't my first mission Otto,I know how well I did but I need to talk to you 

Otto:about?

Seere:Benares

I walked away from the group as I started to climb back up the ramp of the Hyperion,knowing,what walking away meant in regards to talking,Otto followed Me up the ramp and away from the girls as I stopped at the top of the ramp before facing Otto

Otto:so,what's this about

Seere:I told the girls this after I woke up from my collapse already,soI'll give you the rundown,-,....basically,I made a pact with Benares to sever her pact with Mei

Otto:so,your the one in control of Benares

Seere:yes,my energy is flowing through her,right now

Otto:alright,and what the next part of this plan of yours

Seere:I gave some thought about and I decided to realese her and let her go free,so NO ONE,can use her for their needs

Otto:you do understands the implications and trouble,letting a giant Honkai Dragon,roam free of it's own free will,correct

Seere:I do,but it also means,that she won't side with anyone,including the World Serpent,and that;s a big loss for them already

Otto:I see your point but it's a big loss for us as well

Seere:if your worried,that she'll attack the populuse,she won't,as long as my pact with her is activ,she won't harm anyone

Otto:ok,so when does the bad part of this plan come in or when does this backfire

Seere:that's what I haven't told the girls yet,before the Hyperion docked,I talked to Benares again

Otto:and what did she say

Seere:she wants to stay and serve Me,she wants to keep to the pact

Otto:I see,and what's the problem here

Seere:well,it wasn't suppose to end,that way but there is no problem,I just wanted to make sure,you understand,that Benares is under my protection and under my care

Otto:yes,I do understand that

Seere:and you understand,what that implies,correct?,I'd hate for their to be another accident,involving 30 scientists again

Otto:mmm,yes,that would be a tradegy and a problem

Seere:so,we're on the same page then

Otto:I believe so

Seere:alright,so since you're the Overseer,I'll leave it toyou,to inform everyone about the matter,while I go and talk to Benares about her situation

before Otto could respond or rebuttle about our split in tasks,I Quantum Fluttered into a Quantum Ripple,that brought to the deck of the Hyperion and away from everyone else,I landed right in front of Benares again as the Honkai Dragon was still laying on the deck of the Hyperion,curled up on itself

Benares then lifted her head up once again after noticing my presence as she opened her eyes and and looked at Me with a curious look

Benares:Master,you've returned already

Seere:I've talked with Otto about your situation and our pact,you'll be safe and undisturbed while staying here now

Benares:I see,thank you then

Seere:don't mention it

Benares:is there anything I can do for you at this time

Seere;well,now that I think about,I do have a few questions I couldn't find answers to in the sea of Quanta-

Benares:the Sea of Quanta?,you've traversed the Sea?

Seere:it's my domain,I am it's guardian

Benares:I see,I did not expect my Master to be the protector of the vast expanse

Seere:do you mind answering my questions then

Benares:not all,Master,ask away

Seere:first off,has Mei ever been brought to the World Serpent base,if so,where is it

Benares:I am aware,that she has been brought to the base several times now but I do not know where,I lose track of her energy at random,whenshe seems to come into close proximity with other World Serpent members

Seere:I see,that's very helpful,next up,what did Mei have you do,when you were under her control

Benares:I was tasked to assist her battle,multiple times,on occassion,I would transport her to various locations before leaving

Seere:alright,last one,I'm aware,thatyou weregiven a human body in the past but to do so,you needed a Herrscher core,what core were you given

Benares:I was given the Gem of Conquest as my core

Seere:so the same one as Mei,alright thank you for telling Me all of this,it will help a lot

Benares:there is no need to thank Me,Master,your wishes are my command

Seere:I'm still going to have to get used to the whole,Master thing but alright,thank you again,Benares,this really does help

Bella:Master-,........just call Me,since you already know it anyway

Seere:.................alright,I'll see you around Bella,keep yourself out of trouble

with my final remark,I opened another Quantum Ripple and passed through it as it brought Me off the Hyperion and into my room,where I found my Sister and Bronya,playing Monopoly on the floor,as soon as I landedonmy bed,they immediately made Me join as a banker,which I just agreed to and helped them played

as my Master fell through his cut in space and time,I saw him land on his bed,in his room as 2 small girls invite him to play a sort of game about life,it was certainly odd to Me,seeing such a laid back and caring,Master,instead of a ruthless killer or an protective friend but it did spark a warming feeling in Me as I laid on the deck of the flying vehicle,I once almost destroyed

Bella(mind):perhaps,this will not be as bad as I thought

Author:and that's going to do it for this chapters guys,Seere has made a new friend in a giant Honkai Dragon,but why did he ask those questions,you may be wondering,well you'll have to wait to find out,cuz this is the end of the chapter already,so I hope you all enjoyed it,you can have this meme since this was a very short chapter

Gomenasai for making a short chapter,it was originally supposed to be longer as I was going tohave Kiana's Herrscher training in the same chapter but I decided to split it into 2 chapters instead so sorry for short chapter again,but anyway,I hope you all look forward to the next one,until next time
