I sat in my chair in my office as I took a sip out of wine glass,the expensive bust first class wine entered my mouth,quenching my thirst and giving a short period of bliss,I set my glass down on my table as I faced the man,that stood in front of Me,his weapon glowed a multitude of colors as it hovered over the floor,seemingly holstered to his back,his clothes gave off a faint signature of Quantum and Honkai Energy as he crossed his arms in front of him

Seere:you know,I was having a very important talk with my Sister,when Durandal kicked my door open

Otto:i'm sure you were but we have much to discuss

Seere:*sigh*let's just get this over with,what do you need Me to do

Otto:first of,there are a few things you should know

Seere;ok,I'm all ears

Otto:firstly,as a new Valkyrie,you will be assigned to an active squad for duty and missions as per Shicksal protocol and though I would place you with your Sister,that is not possible

Seere:and why would that be

Otto:well,your Sister is in a squad but not active,she's only on her second year in St.Freya and though has been deployed on A-SS rank missions,she and her squad are still in training and since you are an active Valkyrie,you cannot join them

Seere:alright,so I can't be in the same squad as my Sister,that's fine,I can wait,where do I get placed then

Otto:well since almost all squads are filled,only one squad has an empty slot

Seere:Squad 6,Major Murata's Squad

Otto:correct,since Ms.Raiden is missing,her squad has been deemed inactive and only been receiving light recon missions for other squads

Seere:so you want me to fill the gap and get them back in action

Otto:yes,I'm aware you already have ties with Ms.Zaychick and that you have a few leads that point to the Herrscher of Thunder,with that,your placement into said squad should go nicely

Seere:though that may be true,I am aware that the Kaslana does not take too kindly to the male gender,but.............. who am I to oppose the orders of the Overseer,if that's the final decision,then so be it

Otto:good then

Seere:so,what the other thing

Otto:the other thing is this-

I pulled open a drawer on the side of table and pulled out a folder containing a secret SS Rank mission I have needed to get done for quite a while now,I handed it to Seere as the young man took it from me and immediately looked through the contents

Seere:Benares?

Otto:yes,recent reports show that the Honkai Dragon has been flying over several nations of the world and the world leaders are getting worried

Seere:if I remember correctly,Benares was taken control by Raiden,which means,she has control over the Dragon

Otto:true and from what the reports say,Benares seems to be keeping an eye on the nations and their movements

Seere:really,is she trying to stay updated on the world while in hiding

Otto:we've had that same theory but have no evidence to prove it true,which is why we need you to find out

Seere:quite the first mission,I'm getting,I can see why this SS rank,so what the objectives

Otto:Valkyrie Seere,you and your squad are to locate the Honkai Dragon,Benares,follow and observe and find out what it's trying to do,if possible defeat and bring back 

Seere:bring back Benares huh?,difficult but not impossible,we'll get it done

Otto:good,I've already told the Major about your addition to the squad,the other 2 will be notified once your reach their room

Seere:wait,don't tell Me,I have to stay in the same room as them

Otto:no,you can stay in either room of your choice,whether it be with them or not,that's up to you but you will still need to go to their dorm to let them know about the mission

Seere:alright then,that all you needed

Otto:pretty much,your free to go now

the man in front nodded and exited my office with folder in hand as he left to go meet with new squad,I picked up my wine glass again and took another sip before setting it back down as I brought up my hologram screens in front of Me,I immediately took notice of the message notification and opened it to see a the message of a man,that I haven't seen and spoken to in a long time

Otto:hmm,I didn't expect you to get involved again

I walk through the hallway as I searched Shicksal HQ for room 306,it was the room where my new squad was staying at and were my Sister was most likely,she always prefered Bronya's company over everyone else's,Me being the only exception,she was most likely there playing games having a fun chat with them right now but I could be wrong as I passed room 293

as I walked,I gave some thought into the mission,that we received as I started to brainstorm on some ideas on how to do it and what to do after,when I got room 300,I suddenly had an idea that I very much liked,I let out a small grin as I got room 306,I looked at the white painted door and knocked on it as I heard a voice from the other side coming,loud footsteps approached the door as a bunch of other noises were heard,as if something or someone fell over or stumbled and almost tripped but before long the door opened to show a small girl with white hair and blue eyes,wearing a nun outfit,it was none other than,Theresa Apocalypse 

Theresa:who's-,...Seere?

Seere:hello Principal Theresa

Theresa:what are you doing here,are you here for Seele?

Seere:no,no,I'm here to see Major Murata,I have something to talk about with her and her squad,is she there

Theresa:she is but-,...........there's a slight problem,come in

Principal Theresa,allowed Me to enter the room as she led me inside to see a lot of people in the room,there was my Sister,who was talking with Bronya,just like I had thought,the Kaslana named Kiana was playing games on the TV,my opponent for the acceleration exam,Fu Hua was chatting with the Schicksal Maid and Schicksal's strongest Valkyrie,Rita and Durandal,then there was the person I was supposed to talk with,Major Murata Himeko,who was seemingly passed out on a kotatsu table 

they all turned their attention to Me as soon as they noticed me come in with Principal Theresa ,I looked around the room and found it perfectly furnished as it almost looked like a replica of my room,only the fact that there was no bookcase and there were no secret weapon compartments in the room,apart from that,it was a well furnished room

Kiana:you!?

Fu Hua:an unexpected visit

Seele:Nii-san?

Seere:hey Sis,sorry to intrude on all of your little break time

Rita:why the sudden visit

Seere:well i was supposed to discuss something with the Major

Kiana:yah,good luck with that,she passed out 10 minutes ago

Fu Hua:once the Major is out,she stays out until further notice or at least until morning

Seere:well that simply won't do 

I walked up to the sleeping Major and summoned a cup of super strong special made coffee into my hand as i opened the lid of the cup and placed it on the table,the coffee inside was a special brew I drink when I need to pull super all nighters,it's strong enough to keep a man awake for 3 days straight and powerful enough to turn anyone sober,I was once unable to get drunk for 3 and a half days after drinking said coffee

the strong aroma of the coffee immediately filled the room as I saw the Ms.Himeko's hand and nose twitch,she lifted her head off the table and looked around with her eyes closed as she used her sense of smell to find the source of the aroma like a wild predator looking for it's prey,her hand moved and grabbed the cup of coffee as she immediately took a big gulp out of the cup 

her eyes shot open with surprise as she looked at the cup of coffee in absolute shock as she licked some remaining coffee off of her lips,the others in the room looked at the scene like a miracle had happened as they stared at the Major in disbelief 

Himeko:Wow!!,this is some strong coffe,where the hell has this been my entire life,this is what I needed during my overnights at St.Freya

Seere;if you need more,I could always give you the steps in making it,ingredients are cheap as well

Himeko:that'd be great I really ne-,wait what are you doing here

Theresa:we'd like to know too but you were knocked out,maybe now you 2 can talk and tell us,what's going on 

Seere:yah,we kinda need to talk about your squad remember

Himeko:my squad?

Kiana:Me and Bronya?what about us

Seere:please don't tell Me you forgot Major,this is important

Himeko:my mind is a bit blurry right now,do you think you can remind Me

Durandal:of course it is,you downed to 5 bottles of alcohol in under 2 minutes and passed out on the table,what did you expect

Himeko:hey,I offered you to some of it but you refused,what was I supposed to do,let a perfectly good bottle go to waste

Seele;Nii-san,what is this about

Bronya:what does Subject Seere know,that we do not

Seere:*sighs*well,to give it to you all simply,from today and onward,I'll be part of Squad 6

there was a brief silence between everyone in the room before Kiana,Durandal and Theresa broke into a roaring shout,unable to accept,what they had just heard

Kiana,Durandal & Theresa:WHAT!!!!!!!!

Rita:Master Durandal,you cannot be so loud,it is already 6:00 in the night,some people are already sleeping

Bronya:Idiotka is being loud

Theresa:what the do you mean,you'll be a part of squad 6!

Himeko:ahhh,I remember now,yah,what he said is true

Kiana:you can't be serious Auntie Himeko

Himeko:hear us out first,Kiana,go ahead Seere

Seere:basically,to give you all the rundown,since I am now an official Valkyrie,I have to be assigned to an active squad,as per Schicksal rules and protocol,Me and the Overseer opted to put me in the same squad as Sis but her squad is technically still in training

Rita:so in short,since you couldn't be in the same squad as your Sister,you were placed with Ms.Himeko

Seere:precisely,since squad 6 is missing a member,it was deemed,inactive until further notice,so to get the squad back into action I was placed a replacement for the missing Valkyrie until she returns

Durandal:so your a fill in

Seere:yes,you can say that

Himeko:until we can find and bring Mei back,he'll be our squadmate

Kiana:this cannot be real,right Auntie Theresa,this has to be a joke or something

Theresa:I don't think so Kiana,your squad has been inactive for quite sometime now and since Grandpa got a new Valkyrie to his roster,I don't think this is a joke

Kiana:you have got to be kidding Me

Seere:this is no joke Kiana,and whether I'm in your squad or not,I will also be searching for the Herrscher of Thunder 

everyone turned to Me almost immediately after I finished talking as they looked at Me with curiosity and hostility as some of them opted to grab their weapons

Kiana:why are you looking for Mei

Seere:seriously?,I'm the guardian of the Sea of Quanta,my job is to keep balance in the world and make sure it's safe from ay threat,do you think I would let a Herrscher,that wields unimaginable power over lightning,roam around unattended

Bronya:what will Subject Seere do when he finds Subject Mei

Seele:please don't tell Me your going to-

Seere:woah,woah,woah,calm down kids,I'm a guardian,not a murderer,if I'm going to bring people down,I need to make sure,their actually a threat

Kiana:so your not going to hurt Mei

Seere;that's still to be decided,from what I know so far,Mei has gained complete control of her body and Herrscher powers-

Kiana:she has?!,if that's the case then she's not going to hurt anyone-

Seere:let me finish,though she has control of her body and powers now,it's still up for debate,whether she will be a threat to the people or not,considering she's working with the World Serpent

Himeko:wait,working with?

Theresa:there must be some misinformation here,Mei's been captured by the World Serpent,she wouldn't work with them,why would she

Seere:you think so?,Durandal,can you confirm,that the immortal Blades came into contact with the Herrscher of Thunder in the Oceanic region of South America

Durandal:that's classifi-

Seere:can you or can you not confirm

Durandal:....................they did come into contact,they even gave chased but she got away

Seere:can you confirm the presence of a hooded woman with purple claws with her

Durandal:yes,there was a person like that

Kiana:Raven

Seere:I think you can see my point now

Theresa:why would she help them though

Seere:a few months or maybe a year ago,Kiana saved Arc city from a Honkai Bomb,but was captured by Durandal afterwards,she s then taken to a deserted African City and held prisoner,she escaped to Nagazora and Mei followed her

Kiana:yah,I remember that,but what does all of that have to do with anything

Seere:at the time,you were dying from having too much Honkai energy in you,having the Gem of Serenity,Gem of conquest and the Core of the Herrscher of the Void in you was too much for you to handle,so Mei searched for a way to help you-

Seele:then?,what happened

Seere:she found that help in Kevin Kaslana

Theresa:What!!!!

Seere:back in Nagazora,Mei met Kevin and he told her a way to cure Kiana,he told her to get the Gem of Conquest back and become the Herrscher of Thunder again,in exchange for this information,Kevin had her pledge loyalty to the World Serpent and had her help them,with whatever they needed

Kiana:she did all of this-,..............for Me

Seere:do not start blaming yourself,that's the last thing she wants,if anything,I should have stepped in and stopped her

Durandal:You had the choice to stop her but you didn't!!!

Seere:as a guardian I'm not allowed to interfere with the course of the world,I'm only allowed to do so,if the threat is too large for the fighters of the world to handle,example being,the awakening of the Herrscher of the Void

Seele:Nii-san,you were there,when it happened?

Seere:yes,though I was concealed,I was helping discreetly but back on topic,only now have I been given permission to interfere with the natural course,since I am off duty of being a guardian

Kiana:you were even there when I got taken control of,did you even help

Seere:did I help?,I made sure you didn't kill Mei,I made sure you didn't kill Fu Hua,I made sure you couldn't kill Himeko,and your asking if I helped,if I wasn't there,you would have broken every bone in Mei's body,you would have pierced a hole through Fu Hua's stomach with a Void lance and you would have left Himeko falling in an endless abyss of darkness but hey,no harm done

Fu Hua:hmm

Fu Hua:how much did you contribute to these events,when did you start helping

Seere:that goes way back,it's a story in itself and the time is already 7:00,so I'll save it for another time and I'll give you all a summary of what will happen,I'll help you guys find Mei,you'll help me find Mei,we'll find Mei together and pass judgement

Kiana:can you promise,that you won't harm her

Seere:I'm sorry but I cannot promise that,the best I can do is save it for a last option

Kiana:I guess that'll have to do

Seere:don't worry I'll don't believe it'll come to that,on another note though-

I toss the folder,that Otto gave Me onto the table as all the girls turned to look at it in an instant,their eyes looked at with curiosity as they all examined the folder on the table before Himeko picked it up and opened it to look at the contents before turning to Me

Himeko:what is this

Seere;that is our squads first mission back,please do read it before going to bed,I'll answer any questions in the morning since it's getting late and I'm going to hit the hay

Kiana:oh yah,we've been talking for so long we forgot to eat,we should probably get some dinner at the cafeteria

Seere:cafeteria?,it's been closed for more than hour now

Everyone:HEH!!!

Rita:oh it seems I forgot

Kiana:where am I supposed to get dinner at HQ

on cue,Seele's stomach rumbles with enough noise that we all heard it in the room as we all turned to look at Sis who was now slightly blushing from embarrassment as she rubbed her stomach

Seele:hehe,looks like I was hungrier than I thought

Seere:hahaha,looks like you all could use some food-

I raised my arm and opened my hand to the right wall as the wall moved backward on itself,surprising the girls as the room extended,then a full and complete kitchen formed from the floor and the walls as I walked towards the newly made kitchen,I snapped my fingers a multitude of ingredients materialized out of thin air onto the counter

I then swiftly got to work as I began to make a quick meal for the girls in the room,I sped across the little area of work like a blur in the wind as I made every piece of the food with extreme speed,it didn't even take Me 5 minutes but I was already done with cooking as I laid out 8 large bowls of ramen onto the counter

I then teleported the bowls to the table,where Himeko was as the aroma of the food immediately filled the room,catching the noses of the girls inside and drawing them in

Seere:can't have my new squad,my Sister and her friends go on an empty stomach in the night,that simply won't do,so eat up and get to bed,we all have a long day tomorrow

the newly formed kitchen sunk back into the floors and walls as the wall pushed itself back into its previous position as the room returned to normal,I waved a goodbye to the girls,who were still in slight shock from what happened as I showed myself out of the room with a sile,before walking though the hallway to head back to my room for some good sleep

Back with the girls

the girls simply stared at the 8 large bowls of ramen in front of them as their stomachs told them to grab a bowl and eat but their soldier like instincts kept giving them doubt of it's safety and stopped them from doing so,that was until Seele took a bowl of ramen and grabbed the already placed chopsticks inside and began to eat

she grabbed a long string of noodle and sucked them all up into her mouth as her expression turned to one of pure bliss and happiness as stars and flowers seemingly formed behind her to show how happy and delighted she was

Seele:mmm,Nii-san's cooking is still amazing as always

the girls looked at her enjoy the bowl of ramen before they looked back to the available ones on the table,their distrust was still stopping them from indulging in the delicacy but the next one to break was Bronya as she grabbed a bowl and a pair of chopsticks and began to eat with Seele

her neutral expression remained as she ate but quickly changed as a small smile formed on her face while the same stars and flowers appeared behind her like Seele,showing how delighted she was to eat the food in front of her

Bronya:hmmm,Subject Seere's cooking is still amazing

the rest looked back the bowls of ramen as they contemplated whether or not they should join or not as their mind refuses to let them eat the food made by a stranger,they've only known for a day or so,their hunger only grew with each passing moment as they looked at the ramen and all its glory

then finally,the next one to go was none other than Fu Hua,the girls watched as she grabbed a bowl of Ramen and it's chopsticks and picked up a long string of noodles and sucked it up into her mouth,her expression was neutral like usual as she swallowed the ramen and faced the others

Fu Hua:it's safe-,.....................................and amazing

Fu Hua's expression quickly changed to one of pure joy and delightfulness as she took another bite out of her ramen,the same stars and flowers appeared behind her as she joined Seele and Bronya in eating as the 3 consumed their food in synchronized unison,not even the best of the best food joints in the city,that Kiana and Mei used to treat everyone were able to get her to have a reaction but she was now eating like it was her first meal in months

after hearing the green light from the Class monitor,the others gave in and took the remaining bowls of ramen and dug into the food as they all got their first taste of Seere's food,after a single intake,they all had the same expression of happiness on them as they happily consumed the food,prepared for them

Theresa:can we all agree that,that man should cook more often

Everyone:agreed

I tossed my blanket off of Meas I smashed the off button of the nearby alarm clock,I sat up on my bed and stretched as I readjusted my vision on my room,I let out a small yawn before I hopped off of my bed and stretched again,after stretching,I grabbed my scythe and holstered it onto my back as I exited my room and walked through the hallway of HQ

the time 3:00 in the morning,normally no one would want to be out of their bed at such a time but Me and my squad had a mission to get done and I had a bit of preparing to do and first on the list was to get some coffee from the cafeteria,since I could barely keep myself awake as of now

I walked down to the 2nd floor of the 30 floor building as I quickly made my way to the cafeteria,which should be preparing everyone's meal for the day,I passed some people along the way,some Valkyries,some just regular workers and scientist,some familiar to Me and some not,a lot had changed since I left and entered the sea but it was at least good to see,that not everything changed as I saw a few familiar faces among the people I passed

I got the cafeteria to see a few people inside,idly chatting and munching on light snacks as the caterer worked on the food and beverages behind the counter of the cafeteria,I stepped into the cafeteria as all eyes got trained on Me in an instant,the people inside just watched as I walked over to the counter of the cafeteria while the caterers/cafeteria workers all worked on today's meals for the morning

one of them turned their attention from their worked and turned to Me as I walked up to the counter,it was a young girl with black hair and brown eyes,she was wearing white chef's outfit with a white chef's hat on her head

she looked at Me with a bit of surprise as she turned back and tugged on the sleeve of her co-worker,catching the attention of a taller man at her side,she then pointed to Me as the man followed her finger and turned to look at Me,who was now leaning on the counter,I gave him a smug smirk as he dropped the ladle in his hand,catching the attention of the other workers in the kitchen as they all turned to look at Me

Seere:yo,it's been awhile

???2:how-,when-,huh?

Seere;don't worry I'd be confused too,I got back yesterday but didn't get the chance to see you guys

???3:dude,you've been gone for 6 years,where the hell have you been

Seere:well,remember when I told you all,that I'd go to a place,that existed out of our reality or space,when I found a lead to it

???2:I remmember that,but don't actually tell us,you got out of our dimension or something

???1:we know your a bit crazy with the whole thing but come on,going out of a dimension,your not serious

Seere:well,the thing is,I did exit the dimension,lived in another dimension for 6 years and travelled to a bunch ofother dimensions along the way

???4:seriously?!,you have got to tell us this

Seere:how about another time,I've got a mission today and I have to get ready before it

???2:you've only been back for a day and he's already sending you to fight?

Seere:no rest for the wicked afterall

???2:*sigh*alright-

the woman dropped her work and walked up to Me with a neutral but friendly smil,she leaned in on the other side of the counter with a smile as she faced Me, while trying to look professional

???2:so,what do you want for your morning

Seere:well,I'll be skipping breakfast today,so I'll just take any snack you have and some coffee

???2:of course you are

the woman left and opened a cupboard to reveal a bunch of different candy bars inside,ranging from snicker bars to protein bars,she pulled out 2 snickers as I noticed the coffee maker go,which was previously off,just a few seconds ago,the coffee maker filled up a cardboard cup withmy morning beverage as it automatically sealed it with a lid before the man working next to it,purposely hit the cup into the air with the back of his hand as the coffee tflew in the air for a good second or two before falling into the hand of the woman from before,who was now walking back to Me

she placed my coffee and the 2 snicker bars on the counter in front of Me before giving Me a friendly smile,that gave of the feeling of a challenge

Seere:thanks,still as proficcient as ever,I see

Seere:hehe,sure it does

I took my morning beverage and my light snack before walking away with an amused smile as I was happy to see some of my old friend still able to do their outstanding work like before,I walked to the door to leave but stopped just before as I looked back and speak

Seere:oh and it's good to see you again Jane,it's good to see all of you

Jane:right back at ya

Seere:will do

I left the cafeteria with a few of the other people inside confused or surprised by the interaction as I walked away from the scene without a word while I took a sip out of my coffee,I made my way out of the HQ building as I now walked the open area of Schicksal HQ,it was any science geeks dream to be here as technology covered the base from head to toe

Aesir mechs patrolled the base on land and sky,scientists tested some new equipment in development in field,maintenance workers worked on the base,making sure we're still afloat,there were a few Valkyries awake and sparring with each other and lastly,there were soldiers and staff gtting traing from Schicksal professionals

it was just a typical day at Schicksal HQ as I walked over to the landing pads,where our ride to the Hyperion was docked,when I arrived,I saw one our pilots doing a check on the ship while the other was smoking a cigarette as I approached the 2,when got close,they both turned their attention to Me as they both immediately stood up straight while the one holding the cigarette stopped smoking and threw his cigarette off the edge of the base as they both gave Me a salute

Pilot1:g-good morning Sir

Seere:no need to feel axinous pilot,just hereto see if our ships's good to go

Pilot2:It's all good to go Sir

Seere:good then,girl should be here in a few minutes as long as the Major is-,.... awake

Pilot1:wouldn't be surprised if she's not,Sir

Seere:drop the Sir thing,call Me by my name

Pilot1:yes si-,I mean Seere

Seere:that's more like it,hveyou 2 recently checked in with the crew of the Hyperion

Pilot2:we have,ships already good to go according to the XO,she's already all ready for deployment

Seere:nice,I can only assume,we're going to be using the Hyperion for todays mission

Pilot1:if I may,what is the mission for today

Seere:we're going to be hunting down Benares

Pilot2:B-Benares,w-what,you mean the Honkai Dragon

Seere:yup,we've been taskeedto her bring her down or bring her in and honestly,I'd prefer to bring her back alive

Plilot1:q-quite the mission for your return Seere

Seere:meh,when has it ever been easy for us,I mean,you 2 have flown Me way closer to more danger than Benares,it's just another day at the office

Pilot2:fair poin,hey reme,ber when we almost got shot down by a missile,when the korean government thought we were an American Bomber

Pilot1:ah that,that was a close call

Seere:yah,thank god I was able to redirect it in time,I was literally,half asleep when you 2 were shouting

Pilot2:haha,yah to be fair,it was the first time we got shot at

Pilot1:true after that,we got into all sorts of different stuff

Seere:yah like when we got chased by 100 archangels

Pilot1:don't remind Me of that,that was way to close

Seere:true,true,we were lucky to even get out of that with an undamaged ship,a very big-

before I could finish my sentence,I was interrupted by the sound of another voice as Me and the 2 pilots turned out attention to the side,to see the other members of my squad in their battlesuits,fully ready to go,I took a quick glance at their Honkai Energy,just to see how much power I should use for the fight and found their Honkai Energy at incredible heights

Bronya was wearing a yellow and black swimsuit like wear with very short black shorts,she sat on the hand of Project Bunny that floated behind her as she approached with the other at her side

then there was Kiana,who was wearing a white and black outfit,having a black tube vest,thatwasnot completely zipped up,she had a white shirt underneath,covering her chest and had a black short cape over her shoulder with her pistols holstered to her hips and her eyes now heterochromatic,one being the normal sky blue and the other being orange

then there was Major Himeko,who was wearing a white and brown tube dress with a short red jacket and brown shorts,she had her greatsword holstered on her back and had brown gloves on

lastly was none other than Principal Theresa,who was now wearing a white and red dress with a white see through veil on her head along with a white feather like head piece,she had a gigantic cross holstered on her back and had 2 flying white and red spears,floating beside her

the 4 walked over to us as I quickly examined the clothes of each member of the team,2 of the 4 girls actually looked like,they were wearing Battlesuits but Bronya looked like she was going to the beach or something while Major Himeko was literally just wearing normal clothes,by the looks of it

the 4 came over to us as the 3 of us turned to them,it was the Principal at the front of the group as they stopped right infront of Me as Kiana and Principak Theresa gasped in exhaustion

Seere:no,decided to skip breakfast today,I wasn't hungry to eat a full meal,so I just got a light snack with Me

Seere:no,I said I had a light snack,I'm not hungry

Himeko:you might regret that later,you know

Seere:I can go weeks without food,I'll be fine beside,I plan on getting this mission done today

Kiana:yah,today-,........how are we going to do that

Himeko:alright everyone on the ship,pilots,bring us to the Hyperion

Pilot 1 & 2:yes maam

we all boarded the dropship as the 2 pilots kicked the engines into full gear as we took off from HQ,we all sat down in the passenger room of the ship as I looked out the window to see HQ get smaller with every second,then I glanced back to the girls in the ship as I see Kiana whispering with the Principal asthey both slyly looked at Me

Major Himeko was reading the mission file in her hands and Bronya was aimlessly staring into nothingness with a neutral expression,I paid them no mind as I looked back out the window to look at the sky,it was very sunny day to be honest,a perfect dy to relax but we're out here hunting down a dragon

I sighed to myself before I heard my name get called as I turned my attention to Major Himeko,who was still looking at the mission file in her hand

Himeko:Seere

Seere:yes Major-

Himeko:first of,your part of my squad now and one of my rules is,no one adressess Me by my rank,just call Me Himeko

Seere:very well Himeko

Himeko:good,now do you have any idea where Benares is,right now

Seere:nope,if I knew,I would already be there,fighting her

Himeko:do you have any idea,where she might be

Seere:nope,not a clue

TheresaLdo have ny ideas for finding her

Seere:I have a few 

Himeko:your very conservative with your answers aren't you

Seere:perhaps,I don't know where she is but we bet I can track her by Honkai Energy,if that doesn't work we can do it the old fashioned way and look through satellite imagery

Himeko:that is an option to

Kiana:hold on,I got a faint feel of her energy but I lost it

Seere:don't expect it to work,Mei took control of Benares by having her Honkai Energy added to her,that removed the Herrscher of the Void's energy from Benares,so you can't trace her by looking for your own energy

Kiana:oh,so I can't even trace her energy

Seere:no,not likely,actually,your using your Herrscher powers,do you have control of that

Kiana:only a small bit,maybe 7 or 10%

Seere:hmmm,you'll need to gain more control of that if you want to save Mei

Kiana:don't remind Me

Theresa:Seere,please do not bring her up

Seere:it's unavoidable,if she doesn't gain more control,Mei will undoubtedly beat her,no matter the circumstance

Himeko:are you suggesting something here

Seere:I'm suggesting,that Kiana has to take control of the Herrscher of the Void,completely

Theresa:that's insane,it's impossible

Himeko:that's way to dangerous and risky-

Kiana:how d I do it

Himeko & Theresa:what

Seere:hmm?

Kiana:how do I do it,how do I take control

I looked at Kiana in the eyes as I saw the determination and pure sense of wanting to get her friend back in her eyes,I smiled as I turned to face the Kaslana girl,who straightened herself out and faced Me as well

Seere:for a host to take control of both the body and the power,both consciousnesswas be in agreement,the host is the body,the Herrscher is the power,bothmust agree with each other for one to have total control

Kiana:so,I have to agree with a Herrscher

Seere:no,the herrscher has to agree with you

Theresa:hold on,I'm confused,what do you mean "both haveto agree"

Seere:think of Mei,the way she got total control was because,the Herrscher inside her let her take full control,this was because,the Herrscher inside Mei was swayed by her hosts determination to save Kiana

Himeko:so the Herrscher gave Mei her powers?

Seere:yes,precisely what happened,because they were both in agreement to save Kiana,Mei was give total control,the Herrscher consciousness in now completely fused with Mei's but mei was dominant

Theresa:which explains why she controls everything she does

Seere:yes,exactly

Kiana:so the Herrscher of the Void has to agree with Me

Kiana:theres no way,I can do that,why would she ever agree with Me,all she wants is destruction

Seere:my Quantum Shadows,searched the globe,she's moving towards west Europe now

Pilot1:Seere,Major,we're landing in the Hyperion now

Himeko:alright everyone,let's bring her down

AN:AHHH,she's so cute,I feel like having Diabetes

after an hour of flying on the Hyperion,we finally reached the south of the Atlantic,the trip here was pretty uneventful,leading Me to getting bored  pretty quickly,ifI had gone solo,I would have probably completed the mission already but rules arerules and I can't leave my squad without good reasoning

so I quietly sat on the sidelines as I watched the sky from the large windows of the bridge,the rest of the squad was working on their own things,Bronya was checking up on Project Bunny,Kiana was doing a check up on her guns,Theresa was on the bridges console,sterring the ship and Himeko was adjusting her Battlesuit

while they did all of those things,I used my energy to track down benares,who was in the surrounding airspace,I was told,that she hasn't entered any Europeian nation's airspace and was just circling the atlantic which got Me wondering,what her objective was

that was when I finally found her Honkai signature,only a mile north of us,I immediately stood up from my spot and looked over to the direction where Benares was,catching the attention of the others who all looked towards Me with a hint of curiosity

Himeko:something wrong,Seere

Seere:I found her,she's a mile north of the Hyperion,flying towards us at moderate speed

Theresa:lets get ready then

then a beeping noise echoed through the room as we all turned to the source of the noise,being Bronya,she tapped a device,that she placed on the side of her head as the device projected a holoscreen infront of her,on the screen,it showed a well furnished room with a blonde man,sitting in a chairin the middle of the screen,to his side,was a tall woman in a maid outfit nd a girl wearinga white and dark blue dress with a dark blue skirt

it was the Overseer,with the Shicksal Maid and my Sister on th screen,the 3 looks from the other side,to see if everything on the screen was ok until they spoke up

Otto:is this working properly,can you all here Me

Himeko:loud and clear,Overseer Otto 

Otto:good,I've caled to get a check upon the status of the mission

Seere:I've found Benares,ETA to intercept 5-8 minutes

Otto:good then,before that,I'd like to let you all know,we and most of the Vakyries hereat the base will be watching the action of this mission

Theresa:excuse us?

Otto:the device on Ms.Zaychick is a state of the art camera,that is relaying everything she sees back to us,we will be watching the mission from her perspective,everyone can see this as we speak

Seere:do I want to know why,your deciding to do this

Otto:it's standard protocol for Me anda few others to watch the performance of any newValkyrie,you are no exception to that,no pressure

Seere:sure,no pressure

Seele:you got this Nii-san

Seere;thaks for the support Sis,I'll see you back at base in a little bit

Otto:well,that'll be all for now,I expect this mission to go well andwithout any problems,good luck squad 6,Overseer out

the screen disappeared as we all looked at Bronya,who just stared at us with a blank expression as I rubbed the back of my head from a little annoyance 

Kiana:so it's a first mission back and we're being watched definitely no pressure

Seere:careful of what you say,everyone at base can still here you,even without the screen

Theresa:just don't mind it,we're almost to Benares,the Hyperion brdige crew is coming up,so let's head out to the deck

Seere:fine by Me

using my Quantum Energy I teleported everyone out of the bridge and onto the deck as Theresa almost fall flat on her face from disorientation,the girls,except Bronya,looked at Me with a small hint of killing intent as I looked back at them nonchalantly while I unholstered the the Undine's Tale from my back

they recomposed themselves and brought out their weapons as we took a decently defensive position,with me being at the front,Himeko and Theresa behind Me and Kiana and Bronya at the very back

I listened carefully for any sounds,I cleared my mind and tried to sense Benares as I immediately felt the unmistakable energy of lightning and Honkai rushing towards us,I readied myself and took an offensive stance as a large figure came up from below the Hyperion,flying high into the sky,it hoveredin the air as the figure flapped it's massive white and blue wings,it's head was white and ithad a black underbelly and had a pair of both blue and pink eyes as it's white tail swayed from left to right

this was Benares,the Honkai Dragon,that had absolute loyalty to it's master,previously the Herrscher of the Void's,now the Herrscher of Thunder's,she was servant,who would follow orders to the letter without question or second thoughts

but in a moments notice,the dragon roared at us as her appearance changed in an instant ,her white scales and armor,now blood red,her blue highlights now turned purple whileher black underbelly remained as her eyes turned from blue and pink to both purple as sparks of electricty came from her entire being and body

AN:I couldn't find a picture for the Mei controlled Benares,so just use your imagination

she fired a beam of pure lightning at us from the sky as we all scattered to evade the attack,Kiana and Bronya fired back as the 2 shot both bullets,energy,rockets and missiles at Benares,causing a bit of damage towards the dragon as she dove down at us and landed on the deck of the Hyperion,causing the ship to shake a little bit

I ran up to her alongside Himeko as we both hit her with as much force as we can,sending her down on her side as Theresa deployed her cross,which opened up and launched an incredible amount of sword into the air,which rained down on the dragon but only to mediocre effect as Benares recovered quickly and stood up on her feet again,vbefore taking back to the skies

she once again fired beams of pure lightning at us as we all scattered once again,to evade the attack,after the beams she landed back down on the deck and started to flap her wings as she started to creat a tornado,that was dragging us in as we all held on to something, as to not get dragged in

I dug my scythe into the Hyperion to act as hook while Himeko did the same,Theresa held onto her cross while Kiana and Bronya held onto Project Bunny,I looked up and saw Benares about fire another beam of lightning at Me from the sky as I unhinged my scyhte and let myself get dragged in by the tornado,all the while,doging the beam of lightning

before I got fully dragged in,I leaped into the air as I now climbed the tornado at great speed,it didn't take Me long to get tothe same height as Benares as I latched onto her with my scythe and used all my strength to drag her along with my swing,I used her body like fan as I swatted away the tornado before launching Benares down onto the deck

I slowly came back down as I picked up some speed on the way down as I readied to bring the final blow on Benares,before I could though,she recovered from the slam as she turned her head up to Me and fired a beam of lightning directly at Me,I didn't react in time as the beam hit Me dead on,launching Me into the air and away from the Hyperion but not out of the fight

I recovered and caught myself as I used my Quantum Energy as an invisible platform in the air,I jumped through the air as I made my way back to the Hyperion,wehre I saw Benares stand up again before clawing at Himeko,who blocked the attack with her greatsword before pushing Benares back and giving an opening for the other as Theresa redeployed her cross and launched and a flurry of swords at Benares's stomach while Kiana and Bronya laid the hurt on her head as they unloaded their ammunition and attacked her head on

after their combined barrage of attacks,I felt a large surge of Energy come from Kiana as orange ring of energy bursted from her,levetating Benares into the air and causing a force of impact on her before Kiana brought her back down with the same amount of force as she slammed Benares down on the deck

the Honkai Dragon,seemingly too hurt to continue the fight ,got back on her feet before taking back into the air and flying away,I readjusted my flight path as I jumped though the air after Benares as I gave chase as we both quickly flew awa from the Hyperion

Back with the Girls

the girls got on their feet as they all sighed in exhaustion from the fight,they had all hit the dragon with as much force and strength as they could but benares was still able to get up and fly away and now their new Male Valkyrie ally had jumped after their target

Kiana fell onto her butt as she inhaled and exhaled deeply,trying to gather some air into her lungs as she gave a very audible sigh

Kiana:*pant**pant* you got yo be kidding me*pant*we hit her with everything but she still got up

Himeko:*pant* no kidding,she definitely got stronger since last time

Theresa:Seere*pant* went after her,we need give him support

Bronya:principal,Overseer is trying to get into contact

Theresa:put him through

Bronya tapped the device on the side of her head as it immediately displayed the screen,showing Otto,Rita and Seele again with the new addition of Durandal being there now as she leaned on the wall behind Seele

Otto:exccelent work so far squad 6,your skills hve not dulled since your last real mission but your target has escaped,you'll have to give chase as well

Theresa:not to*pant* worry Grandpa,I got a tracker on Seere,we'll catch up

Otto:alright but I also need to tell you,we just got a notification from some of the world leaders of the bigger nations,that they want Benares taken down,permanently

Himeko:so the*pant*order for capture is called off

Otto:unfortunately yes,though I would like to bring her back to HQ alive,the world leaders made their request very clear,please let Seere know of the update as well

Himeko:we will,we're going to-

???:SCREW THAT ORDER,GET THE SHIELD FOR THE DECK ON,NOW!!!!!!

the comm channel echoed trhough the ears of the squad and the listeners from HQ as most recognized it to be Seere's voice

Theresa:what the-,Seere?,capture's been called off,where are-

Seere:JUST DO IT,QUICKLY!!!!

without even a second thought,Theresa contacted the bridge crew to deploy the shields for the deck as an energy shield formed a meter abover the deck of the Hyperion,from one of the clouds in the sky a large figure broke out as everyone looked up into the sky to see,Seere who had his scyther burried in Benares's neck as he dragged her down with astonishing speed

Seere:CLEAR THE DECK!!!!!

without a secondthought,the girls ran for safety as they ran to the edge of the deck,where they were least likely to get hurt as Seere came down with Benares like a meteor,he landed down with almost no sign of major impact as his feet touch the surface of the shield,he immediately opted for a swing as he held his scythe with both hands and dragged Benares's whole body with his scythe as he slammed her down,breaking through the shield and having her crash on the surface of the deck

there was so much force behind the crash,that it created a gust of wind,that threathened to push the girls off the flying Battleship,when the dust settled and wind ceased,the girls looked in front of them to see and very weakened Benares lay on the deck as she tried to get up,only to fail doing so

to the side was Seere,who was barely standing as he stood using his scythe as support,he looked at the red dragon in front of him as he pointed his scythe at her while trying to keep himself up,from the deck of the Hyperion,dark blue chains with a purple hue came up and wrapped around Benares,keeping her from moving or leaving 

after doing so,Seere lowered his weapon as he stumbled backwards before collapsing and falling onto his side,the girls immediately responded with worry as they rushed over to him and checked to see if he was alright,the Undine's Tale disappeared into bits of Quantum Energy as the girls checked Seere to make sure he was alive

at the same time,Bronya accepted a call from the Overseer,since the last one was dropped when the order to run was given,after the screen gave a full display,Seele immediately gave a look of worry as she looked at her brother lay on the floor,unconscious

Seele:Nii-san!,what happened to Nii-san

Himeko:calm down Seele,he just collapsed

Theresas:his Honkai Energy reading is low but not critical,bringing down Benares must have taken a lot out of him

Otto:get him to the medical bay then,we'll continue our talk later,once he's recovered,until then let him rest,as far as i am concerned this observation was a success

the call cut and screen disappeared as Himeko and Kiana picked up Seere by the arm as they both carried him to the Hyperion's medical with Theresa and bronya in tow

Seere(mind):again,no and who do you think you are to make demands 

Benares:I am the Honkai Dragon,Benares,release Me at once or I will destroy you

Seere(mind):your chained to the ship's deck and way to weakened to fight,I'm exhausted nd being carried away for rest,your in no position to make demands

Benares:Grrr

Seere(mind):get as angry as you want,it won't do you any good

Benares:...........................................*sigh*what do you plan to do with Me

Seere(mind):well,my boss wants to experiment on you-

Benares:Otto Apocalypse,if he even so touches me,I'll-

Seere(mind):but I won't let him do that

Benares:what?-,.......what did you say

Seere(mind):I said,I won't let him do that to you

Benares:....why?

Seere:hehe,I have a different idea,that could help both of us,Bella
