"You cannot control you power like the boy can with his power, HoV. And you. Even with the Dragon Divine Keys. You are still not strong enough against enemies stronger than you. Including me."

"..." Kiana said nothing. She held her guns while I held the Dragon Guns. In the few months drifting across Europe, Asia, and Arc City, Kiana faced many dangers alone. With and without my help. But this time was different. Her gut feeling told her that there's an insurmountable two between her and Durandal. In this situation where brute force stood no chance, she needed something else, a different approach.

'DAM***! If only I had a phantom that was strong like the stands Star Platinum and The World. I remember when I created a Dragon from my energy for Drago to fight with against Hellmaru like creating a stand from life energy. But it was not a phantom or a stand. I wish that the others were here to get us out of here...'

All of a sudden, a moment of clarity came to us as we recalled Fu Hua's teaching. "Mantra basically is how you manage your bodies to enter into a state for combat... Before each fight starts, clear your thoughts and calm your bodies... Feel every bit of subtle change inside your bodies... And eventually feel nothing... But the strength flowing within."

Bit by bit, we let go of ourselves. We paid no heed to who we were fighting, where we were fighting, and what we were fighting for. Hundreds of life-or-death simulations from hundreds of dreams came to fruition this very moment.

'Discard all your delusions, and lull your breath. Focus on the strength... ...Flowing within.' We both said in our minds at the same time. We glowed with energy on our bodies. From a feather in the darkness, a light ignited. Our eyes opened to be golden. Kiana pointed her guns together at Durandal while three lances appeared by Kiana.

Then fire came off of me and formed into a sphere above me. Then it began to materialize into something. First wings made of soulium appeared, then a tail made of soulium, and then a head. From the flames appeared a white phantom dragon made entirely out of soulium metal. It roared out after it set foot behind me. It had streaks of yellow, blue, green, and red.

"...Edge of Taixuan? And a phantom?" Asked Durandal. "The past 4 months have not been for nothing. After we found the Dragon Divine Keys, we began to train ourselves to become stronger incase we ever ran into you or into Rita. At the beginning of the fourth month I began to master the Dragon Divine Keys and Kiana began to master Sirin's powers. Eventually we were able to mimic Fu Hua's Edge of Taixuan like when she uses it with her Divine Key, the Grips of Tai Xuan. As for me, while I was trying to find a way to counter any Valkyrie phantom users I would come across. I had a talk with Drago."

Flashback: While in the dream world created by Fu Hua, I was training on how to bring down Rita, Durandal, and Immortal Blades. Eventually, I was talking with Fu Hua, Drago, and Kiana about phantoms.

"Phantoms are mechas that are controlled by Knights and Valkyries from specific battlesuits and sometimes not from specific battlesuits. They are kind of similer to Bronya's Project Bunny. When Rita is in her Phantom Blood battlesuit, she uses the robot dog phantom, the Detector. When she is in her Argent Knight: Artemis battlesuit, she uses the scythe robot phantom, Crescent Harvest. When Durandal is in her Bright Knight: Excelsis battlesuit, she uses her two phantoms, King and Queen." Explained Fu Hua. "At least since Otto double crossed you, you have some important information and secrets from Schicksal we can use to counter against any Valkyries they send against us. So how can we defeat Valkyries who use phantoms? Because none of us including Mei, Bronya, Theresa, and Himeko never had any phantoms. We basically can't summon phantoms like summoning stands in "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders." We may need new battlesuits that lets us create our own phantoms." I asked.

"That won't be necessary." Said Drago. "What do you mean? We need something to counter phantoms." Asked Kiana. "Remember what Divine Keys are made from and where the material came from?" Asked Drago. "Divine Keys are made from Soulium made out of Herrschers." I answered. "Correct. Since both of you are Herrschers, you're made of Soulium." "How could any of us manipulate soulium? Even Herrschers can't manipulate soulium." I asked. "Only the two of us can do it. Use your soulium and create a phantom from soulium metal. But first, put on the Gauntlets." Said Drago. "Alright."

I put the Dragon Gauntlets on and concentrated. I glowed then soulium came off of me then I began to build with the soulium into the phantom I want to make. I had it complete and it stood tall.

"I managed to create my own phantom from soulium. But I knew that I was not ready to use it yet. So I trained to master it and then I waited for the right time to reveal it and use it. And now here it is, my phantom!" I said to Durandal as the flashback ended.

Flashback end: "Sadly I was unable to come up with a name for my phantom. As I couldn't think of which cards from the tarot I would name it after. But regardless, even if it's not strong enough against your phantoms, it may at least give me the edge I need to continue fighting."

Instead of being shocked and frightened, Durandal was smiling. "So I was wrong about both of you. You have something else other than sheer force." Said Durandal. "The warm-up is over. Now show us what you're really made of." Said Kiana. "That's right. Bring out your stands to see what they're made of against mine." I said. "I'd say you're both about ready now." Said Durandal. "For what?" I asked. "Keep the momentum. You're gonna need it in the real battle coming now." "What are you talking about?" Asked Kiana.

Boom!!! From the sky we saw a portal open up. I looked down and saw the source. They were using the 2nd Divine Key again. "You watch the first Avengers movie?" Durandal asked me. "I did. Why?" I answered. "Now we're in the middle of it. Where Loki uses the Tesseract to bring his army to New York City." Said Durandal.

"What... what are these?!" Asked Kiana. "Quantum Shadows. From the Sea of Quanta." I said. "So you know about the Quantum Shadows too, Patrick-kun. They will be your opponents." Said Durandal. "It's not over yet between you and Patrick-kun and me!" Shouted Kiana. "Sorry, the trial coming up is my job. Defeat them with everything you have and be the last one standing." Said Durandal. "Fine. I guess my phantom will have to wait for another time." I said as I made my phantom disappear. I jumped down to the fight against the Quantum Shadows while Kiana followed me.

"So you know how to defeat them?" Asked Kiana. "Of course I do. Trigger time fracture, make them turn white, and then finish them off." I answered. "Ok, I got it!" Void Chela crabs first appeared. I started out by firing quantum blasts from the Dragon Guns to deal QTE damage while Kiana ran in and used her guns while using her legs. Then Void Gorgons appeared. Doing what I said, Kiana triggered evasion mode and made the Quantum Shadows turn white to finish them off. Then lastly, Void Hellions appeared. I switched to the Dragon Scythe glowing with Quantum energy. We took care of them but more kept coming.

"Dam***! They just keep coming and coming! Even more pesky than the Arc City cockroaches. It's a big waste of time here..." Shouted Kiana. "They keep coming from the portal and won't stop coming unless if you could do what the Avengers did to defeat Loki." I said. "Right, the big hole in the sky. That's where they come from. Guess we'll have to take it out first!" "Right!" I switched to the Dragon Gauntlets then I set them to Zeroth Power again. And the. I float up into the sky, then I spread my arms and screamed out. Then I glowed with golden energy this time. Rubble was floating up from the energy I was releasing.

"No you can't! You're not gonna try and mimic Vegeta's Final Flash are you?!" Shouted Kiana. "I have to try! I need to try! You better charge up too! Send your lances into that portal!" I shouted back. "... Right!" Kiana glowed too while her eyes turned back to golden eyes. Then she summoned three void lances like Fu Hua using her Divine Key, the Grips of Tai Xuan. I put my hands in front of me, open and energy formed into them. Durandal was watching us. "Now you try to use Vegeta's Final Flash. It's not questionable that you never thought about using it on me. And what ever training you both did to use Fu Hua's powers I need to know and to tell the Overseer." Said Durandal.

Finally we were charged up. "Go!" Shouted Kiana as she sent her three lances into the portal while I sent my energy laser into it as well. "FINAL FLASH!" I finally fired and helped the lances breakthrough. The Quantum Shadows were getting extinguished by our combined attack.

Finally the portal from the 2nd Divine Key closed. "The hole is gone... Finally over!" Said Kiana while I floated back down turning Zeroth Power off. "If a nuke could destroy all the enemies from inside the portal, so can 3 Void Lances and a Final Flash." I said.

"Now... it's time to settle the score with you..." Kiana collapsed and I caught her in my arms before she hit the ground. "The single hit drained everything out of her. Even using Zeroth Power while firing that blast drained me too. She couldn't even lift a finger now. Her consciousness drifted away in the company of grievance and exhaustion. The last thing she saw was the approaching steps of the blonde Valkyrie. Up to now, she had no idea... What the experiment really meant. Only I did, it was Otto that set it up to use us. Otto needed a Valkyrie with Herrscher powers to use her to get what he wants. I kneeled down, not bothering to try to escape.

"You're not gonna try to escape?" Asked Durandal. "I'm weakened now. It's pointless to escape being weakened after using a powerful attack. And you were lying to us. You never intended to let us go in the first place." I answered. "Lie to you? I'm afraid that you're mistaken. There are a few more tests that need to be done." Durandal summoned her two stands then she motioned them to pick us up. "You both are tired. I'm bringing you back to your room." "You mean our cage/our prison cell." "No. Please refrain from calling it that. I do not wish to treat you like prisoners. And neither does the Overseer."
