Part 1: Prologue and Lone Rangers

Far away in an uncharted territory: Gray Serpent walked through the dark corridor surefootedly. Neither torch nor map was needed. At every turn, the right direction simply popped up in his head, as if he was treading on the path for the millionth time. The truth was, he had never set foot on this sanctuary before. One and a half millennium ago, this place was graced by the Master's return, and this became the scared shrine. After the Master was sealed in the other dimension, it became obsolete and forgotten. Now, upon the bidding of the master, he came here to fulfill his duty. Gray Serpent stopped. At the end of the road stood a firm metal gate which denied passage. He waited quietly. A moment later, the password struck him like a lightning and very naturally, he spotted the magical words out.

"From destruction comes rebirth." The gate creaked open, as if wrestling with the weight of a millenium. Inside the hall and on a grand seat, a man was sitting still like a sculpture. It was Kevin Kaslana. 1500 years passed. Powers rose and fell. Blood and fire bathed the planet over and again. Change was the only constant. But not even the slightest change could be seen on this man since they last met. His iron will had also endured. This man has transcended time and space, which was why he had a winning chance fighting the all-ruling destruction. The man looked his devoted disciple in the eye. Gray Serpent couldn't help but trembling. The eyes that saw it all... They had witnessed wonders beyond everyone's wildest dreams, and overcame sorrow that cut deep into the soul. Everything they had ever seen was hammered by the Master's iron will into cold, hard ice.

"Please forgive me for not being able to greet your return." Said Grey Serpent. "How is the plan going?" Asked Kevin. "It's going well. Today's world has everything we need for the plan. The Herrscher of Reason may stop you once, but he can't fight history. The Jackel research is nearly done, except for the last test run." "Put the plan in motion." "Aye, Master. I have a gift for your return." Grey Serpent held up a sword that appeared to be the Devine Key, the Judgement of Shamash. "Only this legendary weapon is worthy to be wielded by the savior of humanity." Grey Serpent offered the greatsword with both hands in utmost respect. The once blinding blaze was not be found on the dull blade. But it revived many memories. With it in hands, he once cleansed the Earth of all evil and faced the will of god head-on."

"So long, my old friend." He clenched the hilt tightly, as if to hold onto his past memories. He gazed at the blunt blade like he did before a thousand battles. The soulium sword vibrates and woke up. It stretched and sharpened, echoing his rising fighting spirit. It's more than a sword. It's a living thing with a soul. A spark burst from within the sword. The reunion had rekindled its soul. The sunfire that guarded Eden, the flames that consumed Sodom... People believed it to be divine retribution. Millennia passed, and the legend returned. "Let the storm begin!" Declared Kevin. The decree resonated in the hall and struck the heart of every follower like a lightening... They knew the whole world would soon tremble.

Patrick's point of view: Since coming back from hiding from Schicksal in my home country we've returned to ARC city to find World Serpent. Every time Honkai attacked we defeat the Honkai and we've been regarded as superheroes from comics. I now had the Dragon Divine Keys with me.

World Serpent is here in Heliopolis. And I'm gonna find him.

No one's point of view: Late night, outskirt of Arc City. It's been four months since the Honkai Eruption. To escape the void beasts and the zombie plague that followed, more and more rushed to the city for respite. However, it's a pipe dream to expect all these to die down quickly. A tough night for the Arc City patrol mechs...

"There's more of them than we can handle. They're everywhere... Martial law is now in effect in the city. Every mech has been deployed on the city perimeters." A Mecha Pilot said. "Massive Honkai energy detected ahead..." an Alarm said. "Prepare yourselves! The next wave is coming!" A Mecha Captain said. As soon as the warning was given, colossal beasts had swarmed in with earth-shaking strides. They were pinned down.

"Shoot! They keep coming! Can't hold it any longer!" "It's only a matter of time before they overrun us! Hold the line!" One of the Mecha Pilots was two figures on top of a railing that quickly disappeared. "Who's there!?" He was the figures on top of his mech from the shadows. One of the figures shot fire creating a fire wall between the Honkai and the mechas. The Void and Dragon appeared.

Patrick's point of view: Kiana and I got to work fixing the bots. Once we were done, the fire wall dispersed and then an emperor class Honkai beast named Lugal came in and destroyed some of the mechas. "Good grief. And mecha patrols can't even last long. They should leave the fighting to trained fighters instead." I said acting like Jotaro. "This is no time for that. Regulate your breaths, and fight as how Drago and I've taught you both." Said Fu Hua. "Ok Fu Hua. We got you." I said pulling out the Dragon guns in sub machine gun form then changing into my augmented core battle suit. "We got you." Said Kiana doing the same thing only having a new pair of Honkai powered pistols. We charged in to fight against Lugal. "Kiana, behind you!" Shouted Fu Hua. Kiana got out of the way of Lugal's attack then I opened fire once again with the Dragon Guns. In a matter of seconds, Lugal was destroyed, then we took care of the last Honkai Beasts.

"Did you see them? That little girl and little boy..." The Mecha Pilot said. "They took down a Honkai Beast in less than 30s... Are they monsters... no, superhumans?! Like those you can only see in manga!" Said the Mecha Captain. "Not just manga." I said as I destroyed another Honkai beast. "Also in Anime." I finished.

"...All clear." Said Kiana as we changed back to our normal battle suits. "Leave now before you're spotted." Said Fu Hua. "I know..." Said Kiana. "We know..." I said before we jumped a long distance away. Before the mech force could get our looks clearly, the battle was already over. All they could remember was a white blur and a green blur in the moonlight.

No point of view: But in the shadow, two pairs of cold eyes took every tiny detail. In another location in secret, two figures were watching camera footage of the battle.

"According to Grey Serpent's intel, they were still lingering in Arc City. But a month ago they disappeared and recently returned." Said the person with a mask known as Jackel. "K-423 and Dragon were sighted wherever Honkai Beasts rampaged. I fear they might endanger the experiment." Said the other person with a cape known as Raven. "...A complication indeed. But we have no time to worry about them. The Master has returned and demanded action. Schicksal interference should be our top priority. They've sent people here. Make sure they stay out of our way." "I have an idea. Schicksal is tenacious about tracking down K-423 and Dragon. Let them sweat over the chase." "Good. In case we have to face them, remember to use the gift I prepared for them. They'd be pleasantly surprised."
