Shadow:yes,whether you believe it or not,they're very real and have been keeping Russia,mainly Siberia,Honkai free

Himeko:how are legends like them even here,that shouldn't even be possible

Mei:Captain,don't tell us,you've actually been toying with the forces of life and death

Shadow:not quite,I did however have an encounter with a force,that controls life and death

Theresa:when was this and how the hell did we never find out

Shadow:as you probably already guessed,I am very good at hiding secrets from people and this was during my first year of being the Captain of the Hyperion,when I had a near death experience

Sirin:when did you have a near death-,..........*gasp*our first battle

Shadow:bingo,got struck by a archangel when I wasn't paying attention

Durandal:but how,does that lead to you meeting,someone who can control life and death

Seele:my Quantum Outburst

everyone turned to Seele with a confused look as Seele looked at Me with a bit of guilt in her eyes,it very clear she was still guilty about going on a rampage,that day even though I already told her it was fine

Seele:I rampaged during the first fight under Onii-chans command and I accidentally hit him with a shockwave of Quantum energy,I'm sorry

Shadow:we've talked about this Seele,it's fine and she's right,the shockwave sent Me into a Quantum stasis and it unbound Me from the laws of time,another it effect it had was,that it sent Me or my mind to be specific,to another world

Sirin:another world?

Shadow;a limbo world,a world between life,death and reality,that was where I met the Herrscher of Death

Thundai:YOU MET THE HERRSCHER OF DEATH

Bronya:how is the Captain still alive after the encounter

Shadow:girls,just because she's the Herrscher of Death does not mean,she kills people when she's bored,her job is to oversee that the boundaries of life and death are not crossed and the cycle of reality is not broken

Fu Hua:but that doesn't answer,how Cecilia,Kallen and Yae are here

Shadow:to put it bluntly,I made a deal with the Herrscher of Death or Kyla as she wanted Me to call her,the deal was,she would get me out of the limbo world in exchange for something

Theresa:what did you give her

Mei:please tell us,you didn't give her something too valuable

Rozaliya:did you give her your soul or something

Liliya:did Captain give her eternal servitude

Sirin:perhaps a promise of power in this world

Shadow:no nothing of those sorts,it was a simple trade

Fu Hua:what did you give her then

Shadow:well,did you girls ever wonder why I sold my old phone

Mei:yes,it was peculiar,that you sold a perfectly functioning phone just because-,WAIT YOU GAVE HER,YOUR PHONE

Shadow:the funny but truthful fact is that,she was bored and lonely in her own world,it was an empty space with nothing there but her,so in exchange for my freedom,I gave her some form of entertainment

Thundia:and that worked?

Shadow:yup,I removed all passcodes to my old phone and gave it to her,she played all my games on my old accounts,she enjoyed it so much,that she granted Me an extra wish before she sent Me back

Bronya:and Captain asked for Ms.Cecilia,Ms.Kallen and Ms.Yae

Shadow:no,I was going to ask for her to kill all the Honkai but that was out of the question,since the Honkai are part of the natural cycle,so instead,I asked for 3 fighters,who could help Me fight the Honkai,and after that,she sent Me back and told Me,where to find the 3 fighters I asked for,it was by her own choice to bring these 3 back,specifically

Theresa:so she brought them back by her own choice

Cecilia:yes and we know this is a lot to take in but it's all true,we were just as surprised when we learned it as well

Kallen:it was hard to believe,that we had been resurrected in a completely new era

 Yae:but we managed

then it came to the moment of truth for Cecilia as Kiana and Theresa stepped forward and walked towards us,more specifically,Cecilia as they examined her from head to toe,they walked past Me and came face to face with the "VSF" leader as Kiana and Theresa looked at her with a unwavering will

the tension between the 3 was quite extensive for,what it should be as the 3 white haired girls seemed ready to draw their weapons,the moment they seemed unsatisfied,Cecilia in my eyes was clearly nervous but she didn't let the 2 girls in front of her,know that as she stared back at them with a neutral but also unwavering expression

silence came between the 3 as Cecilia stared down at her daughter and best friend as she was steeling herself for anything they throw at her,Theresa and Kiana stared at their Best Friend/Mother as they both,simultaneously broke the silence between them

Kiana & Theresa:are you really my Mom/my Best Friend

Cecilia:*smiles*of course,I'm as real as you 2 are going to get

the 2 stayed silent before throwing themselves at Cecilia,they moved so fast,that even I had a hard time keeping up,with what they did,but despite their extreme speed,Cecilia's superior strength still caught both them as the 3 of them hugged,it was a very wholesome sight to see as a Mother,a Daughter and a long time Friend were finally reunited

to say I was happy to see this was an understatement as I was very glad to see,that Cecilia and Kiana were finally reunited after all this time,Kiana sunk into hug and started to cry as Cecilia gently comforted her daughter

Kiana:*sobs*it's really you,it's really,really you,*sobs*I can't believe it*sobs*

Cecilia:it's ok sweetie,let it all out

Shadow:see,what did I tell you Cecilia

Cecilia:thank you again,Captain

Shadow:well,despite how much I would like to have the family reunion,go on,we have a few things to discuss,so I'll give you 2 some time to bond later

Cecilia:of course,Captain

Shadow:now then,does anybody want to tell Me,what you all were fighting about,before we got here

everyone froze and slowly looked away as they avoided eye contact with Me,even Kiana stopped sobbing as she dug her face more into Cecilia's chest,trying to hide her face from Me,the only ones being able to maintain a neutral face was Fu Hua,Belfast and G36 as everyone just simply looked away from Me,meaning I would have to resort to plan B to get answers from them

Shadow:we could always do this the hard way,where I pick out out 5 people and pry out the answers I want from your mouths with force

they all immediately tensed up as they all knew my capabilities in torture were beyond their own,they might have not known,I could fight with extreme expertise but they all certainly knew,what I can do with a few grains of gunpowder a few sticks and 2 stones as they all knew,the extents I go to to get answers if I use torture

Durandal:y-you wouldn't dare

I looked at Durandal with a smirk as my irises shrunk a little bit as I look at her a a confident and somewhat sadistic look

Shadow:wouldn't I

Durandal just lowly growled at Me as I saw sweat drip down from the side of her face as she looked at Me with a hint of fear,she was already told of what i was capable of,so it was obvious,she was thinking twice on fighting Me head on,which gave an edge in the conversation as she was in no position to refuse my question nor in a position to take me down with force

Shadow:come on girls,we don't have all day,I have some unfinished paperwork in my office and I would like to get to it but I can't since I don't trust you all to not fight about this matter again,so I would like to clear it up now,before it escalates to far

Everyone:...................

Shadow:*sigh*looks like we'll have to do this the hard-

Chocola:wait,I'll tell you

Shadow:ok then,let's hear the rea-

Chocola:but in private

everyone looked at Chocola with confusion as I looked at her with curiosity,she had a look of determination in her eyes as for someone reason,she was steeling her resolve,I was very curious as to why she was steeling herself if she was just going to tell Me,why everyone was fighting but it seemed like I was going to need more answers from her in our talk

Shadow:can I ask,why you want to tell Me in private

Chocola:it-it's-,it's private,I'll tell everyone your response,once our talk over

Maple:you're being quite formal with this Chocola,you have something in mind,don't you

Chocola:n-no!,I just want this talk in private,that's all

Azuki:I don't know,seems kinda suspicious

Enterprise:I agree

Shadow:enough,time is being wasted,I'll get my answers and that's what I care about,Chocola,you can tell Me in my office,so your coming with Me,the rest of you,your free to do as you wish until further notice and NO fighting,do I make myself clear

Chocola:yes Master

Me and Chocola left the room as we left the other girls to their own devices,as soon as we left,I could hear them start to panik inside as I try not to pay attention to it,instead,I looked over to Chocola as we walked along the hallway,towards the stairs,she was looking down at the ground as her cheerful and outgoing demeanor was replaced by a gloomy and sad aura,I had a feeling I know why but I decided to wait and hear it from her as we walked towards my office

Timeskip brought to you by Me,being happy I can update all my stories again(having trouble with internet lately,so making the "Quantum Sibling" story was a major pain cause saving the story would take 8 minutes to do)

after we reach the 43rd floor,we went into my office as I looked to see,that it was mostly untouched,it was still the same as I left it,all those years ago but there were a few more pictures on the wall now,there was a large white work desk in back middle area of the room as a few papers were stacked on it while a few holo screens floated above it,a white chair with golden arm rests sat behind the desk and in front of the wall,which also doubled as my window,made of bullet proof,one-sided glass,on the right was a large white couch with golden highlight and to its side was a  glass case filled with a few bottles of wine and a few wine glasses,on the left was another desk,sandwiched by 2 large cabinets and 2 bookshelves,in the center of the room was a large carpet with the Schicksal logo and above it was the only light source,that lit up the entire room

we walked in as I went to my chair and sat down,I dismissed the holo screens and set the papers to the side as Chocola stood in front of my desk,looking a little nervous or anxious as she was shaking a bit

Shadow:ok,so you wanted to tell Me about,what the others were fighting about,what is their reason

Chocola:.......they were fighting about,where you were going to be stationed

Shadow:stationed?,sorry I'm a bit confused,what do you mean station?

Chocola:they were fighting about,where you would stay,since you lead all 3 factions,you would need a main base as they can't all stay in one base and leave the other bases undefended

Shadow:oh,I see,so this is what this is all about

Chocola:mmhhmm,everyone was saying,that you should stay in their own factions base but Me and the others just wanted to stay with you

Shadow:I appreciate the concern you girls have for Me but just like,how we can't have the bases undefended,we can't leave the house unattended either

Chocola:we know you would say that,so we also thought of convincing you to work from home in secret

Shadow:again,I appreciate the concern Chocola but I have to take this seriously,my decisions will affect a lot of lives and I simply can't do it at home as the house doesn't have the equipment I need to do this job

Chocola,looked down with a sad expression as I couldn't help but feel bad for telling her,that I would have to spend time away from them,I genuinely would want to work with them but it simply won't work out

Chocola:we knew,you would say that too

Shadow:don't feel down,Chocola,I know you don't want to be apart from Me for too long and trust Me,I don't want to be apart from my 6 Neko's either,your a big part of life,so it hurts me just as much as it hurts you but it was my choice to come back to this task and I have to do it properly

Chocola:mmm,I understand

Shadow:don't worry,as much as possible,I'll come to see you 6 when I can,if I can make it work,maybe I'll integrate you 6 into my work as special forces,it wouldn't be all bad

Chocola looked up to Me with a less saddened face as her lit up with joy a little,she had hope in her eyes and seemed to like the idea of being my special force of fighter as a smile grew on her face

Chocola:yah,you've taught us to fight when we were kids,maybe we can use it properly this time

Shadow:that's the spirit,your always much cuter with a smile

Chocola:ehh!!,don't just suddenly flirt with Me,Master,I wasn't ready

Shadow:hehe but it is true though,you girls are always better off with a smile on your face,it's what I always want to see on you girls

Chocola:oh stop,Master,y-your making Me blush

Shadow:hehe ok,I'll stop but back on a serious note,what's the reason you wanted to talk to Me in private,you obviously didn't need to but,I wanted to hear,what you had to say

Chocola's happy expression vanished in a instant as she looked down to the ground again with a sad expression on her face,her ears were down and her tail made no motion as she blankly stared at the ground,I sighed as I looked at her as I had a guess,to why she was acting sad

Shadow:is this about,what you told Me last night,the talk about my past

I looked at Chocola as I recline into my chair for maximum comfortability,Chocola didn't answer nor move as she stood in front of Me,motionless,suddenly she vanished from in front of Me,surprising Me from the sudden movement as I was about to stand up but before I could or even knew it,she was already on top of Me as she laid on Me while I stayed recline on my chair,she laid her head on my chest as she snuggled up to Me while she avoided eye contact,I looked down at her as she kept her face hidden from Me,she had her arms wrapped around Me,not let Me move to much as she appeared to be trying to stop Me from leaving my spot

Chocola:does Master hate us

Shadow:Chocola,you already know,that I can't hate any of you and what reason would I have to hate any of you in the first place

Chocola:we told everyone the past you tried so hard to lock away,we disobeyed your wishes

I looked at her with a bit of guilt in my eyes as I felt like it was my fault,that the 6 were feeling like this,my past wasn't something to be taken lightly,I didn't like to share it for that same reason,so I didn't bring it up as much as possible but I came to trust my 6 girls enough to the point,that I did tell them,it was only a piece of the full story but it was enough to convince them,that it was the whole thing

Chocola was the one to tell Me about the talk they had last night,she was the one that,broke it down to Me during dinner and after what I did during that evening after the talk,I could only assume,that she felt like it was all her fault

Flashback(haven't seen this in a while)

I was eating dinner with Otto as the girls were all idly chatting with each other,as I ate I couldn't help but notice the constant glances at Me from the girls,by now I was use to it and it was pretty normal to see them do it but something felt strangely off,there was a hint of sadness and worry in their eyes when they look at Me and it was getting to Me,something obviously happened and it was worrying them,it was worrying Me

I glanced at a few of the girls to see,what they were up to and to see if I could get a clue to what was happening but there was nothing,so I decided to finish my food and head back to my room,so I could get a good night's rest but before I could,I felt a note go into my pocket as I look over and see Chocola pass by Me,I indiscreetly pulled out the note in my pocket as I glance over to it,it said to meet Chocola in the hallway,outside of the cafeteria but it didn't say why,this only made Me more curious as I quickly finished my dinner with a quick pace,before standing up and leaving

as I left,I saw G36 and G41 with a curious eye as they watched Me leave intently,it wasn't a surprise,that they knew something was up but they only seemed to know just as much as I did,they seemed worried as I went to leave the room but I decided to leave the thought of worry as I exit the cafeteria

there I met Chocola,who was waiting in the hallway with her back leaning against a wall,she was looking down at the floor before I walked towards her,catching her attention as she looked up to Me,her eye were absolute filled with worry,her cheerful demeanor was completely traceless and gone,replaced by a worried feel as she looked at Me,I didn't know why they all seemed so worried but I wanted to know,so I could hopefully fix it as soon as possible

Chocola took her back off the wall as she stood up straight,she meant business,that much I knew as she was acting very professional,I took a quickly glance at the door to the cafeteria and enhanced my senses to see if anyone was listening in on us and surprisingly enough,no one was,then my attention snapped back to Chocola as she looked at Me,her mouth was twitching as she couldn't seem to speak,I was very confused by her as she struggled to say anything but after a moment,she inhaled and exhaled deeply before finally saying something

Chocola:Master

Shadow:you wanted to talk,so I'm here,what do you want to tell Me

Chocola:*inhale*we did something bad,Me,Vanilla,Maple,Cinnamon,Coconut and Azuki

Shadow:did you now?,and what did you all do

Chocola:uhm-,........please don't be mad but-

Shadow:Chocola,I can only be mad if this was something incredibly unforgivable,so unless it's something of that caliber,don't worry to much

Chocola:mmmm,we told them all a story-,............................your story

Shadow:what do you mean by that

Chocola:*inhale*Master,we told them all your past,we told them all the story you told us,so now they know the past,you were keeping a secret,please don't be mad at us

Chocola's word,struck Me like an arrow in the head as I felt a flood anguish rush over Me,memories filled my head,memories I tried so hard to forget but never could,the best I could do was push them back to the very back of my mind but now,all of those memories were taking the front as my mind flash Me images of those accursed memories,it played the screams of all those people I couldn't help,it showed Me the death of my own sister

I felt myself,unconsciously curl my hand into a fist as I look to the ground,hiding my face from Chocola,it was taking every bit of willpower I had to keep myself from lashing out but I was barely holding myself together,I couldn't let that happen or else my secrets would get exposed to everyone and I couldn't let that happen,I was unconsciously gritted my teeth as I did my best to quell my rage but I was not going to be able to hold myself back for too long

I looked at Chocola,who was looking at Me with an even more worried look as I could see her shiver from either the cold or fear,fear that I would do something I would wholeheartedly regret later on

Chocola:Master?

Shadow:..........................................*inhale*Chocola,go back into the cafeteria or back to your room

Chocola:but-

Shadow:CHOCOLA!!-,.............please go back,now

Chocola:but Master,are you o-

Shadow:DAMMIT CHOCOLA JUST GO BACK NOW!!!!!!!!

I yelled at Chocola as she jumped back slightly from my rage,my outburst cause a small shockwave of wind to form as any dust in the area was swept away and piled up,it wasn't strong enough to break anything or crack the wall and floor but it was certainly loud enough to alert the girls and Otto inside the cafeteria as they were probably wondering,what the loud sound was as they picked out,who would go and check

I looked at Chocola who now had tears in her eyes as she looked at Me with a scared expression,she then shakily dashed past Me as her tear fell of her face and on the floor as she ran up the stairs to her room in seconds as I was left to my own devices,I took in deep breaths as I covered my face with my hand as I tried to calm myself down but it was just not working and sooner or later the girls will come out here and see Me,then start to question Me on what happened

before that could happen,I activate my powers and make a portal with little output,so the they couldn't sense it as I walk through the portal I made,it brought Me to the middle of a forest as I was now surrounded my many thick trees,where the forest was,I didn't know,I was too mad to care as I leaned myself against a tree,the bad memories weren't leaving my head as time moved,I got angrier,eventually I had enough of these memories as I punch the trunk of the tree I leaned on,the trunk snapped and made the tree fall as the massive tree collapsed and fell on the ground

I breathed in and out as I reeled my arm back,now feeling just a little bit better as I sat myself down and leaned my back on the remains of the tree trunk,which was now nothing more,than a small stump

Shadow(mind):happy thoughts,happy thoughts,nothing but happy thoughts,Shadow,don't worry about anything else right now

???1:looks like your past has caught up with you

Shadow(mind):leave Me be if your not going to be helpful

I looked over and saw 5 male figures,hiding themselves in the darkness of the night in the distance as they all leaned against a different tree,while looking at Me,their eyes shone in the darkness as I could see pairs of Orange,Purple,Blue,Green and Red eyes

???2:we warned you about this but you wouldn't listen-

???3:now your paying the price

Shadow(mind):if YOUR NOT going to USEFUL,the  LEAVE-ME-ALONE

???4:you can't hide from this forever,you know this 

???5:this is what you get for being an idiot about this whole ma-

Shadow:I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!

I quickly stood up as my golden and silver chains bursted out of the ground,wrapping the 5 figures arms and legs and binding them to their spot as they struggled to get out of the grips of the chains

Shadow:I said Leave Me alone,NOW LEAVE OR WILL PUT YOU 5 BACK IN YOUR LITTLE CRYSTAL PRISON!!!!!!!

I felt the air around Me increase in heat as my left eye changed from blue to red,the grass beneath Me started to dry up and wilt away as the 5 figures look at Me with a worried look,except for one,who looked at Me with an unbending will 

???5:you wouldn't dar-

Shadow:LEAVE OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!!!

my right eye turned from blue to red in an instant as the heat around my increase,the ground below Me started to get scorched as the plants burned away in seconds,leaving nothing but dust and burned earth afterwards,the 5 looked at Me with fear now in their eyes as they all looked at each other before looking to Me

in an instant,their bodies disappeared,leaving a few pink particles of Honkai Energy behind,before they disappeared as well,at the same time,the heat around Me vanished at the cold winds of the night came back while my eyes returned to their normal blue,I looked down to see the scorched earth,that I stood on as I sighed to myself before sitting down against the stump again,I rested my head against the stump as I look to the leaf covered sky as I could see some of the stars in the sky,shine through the leaves of the trees

after my little outburst at the 5 figures,I finally calmed myself down as I let my other emotions take hold of me again,I looked in front of Me as I recollect my thoughts back into my head,that was when I remembered,that I had angrily yelled at Chocola,just a few minutes ago

Shadow:*sigh*how am I going to apologize to her

Flashback End

I had maybe spent an hour in that forest before coming back to HQ in secret,I knew I worried the girls since I saw them all running around the base in a fray when I got back but they quickly enough calmed themselves down when they found Me on the roof,that night I wasn't even able to apologize to Chocola since she apparently cried herself to sleep while I was gone and now she laid on Me as I sat on my chair

I grabbed the back of her head with my hand as I wrapped my other arm behind her waist as I pull her into an embrace while I rubbed the back of her head

Shadow:Chocola,I'm not mad at you,I'm not mad at any of you,in truth,I was being selfish and pushing people away so they didn't share my grief,I should have told some of them sooner but I just couldn't pull myself to do it,you 6 did what you thought was best and I can appreciate that

Chocola:so,Master isn't mad,Master is not mad at Chocola

Shadow:of course not,I can't be mad at any of you,also I'm sorry for yelling at you,last night,I let my anger get the best of Me

Chocola:it's alright,I've already forgiven,Master

Shadow:no,if there's anything I can do for you,let Me know,it's the least I can do

Chocola:no,no,Chocola doesn't want to bother,Master too much

Shadow:I appreciate the concern,so how about this,I'll take a day off from work tomorrow,we can head out into the city tomorrow,we'll do something you want to do

Chocola:ehh,but Master doesn't have to

Shadow;it's fine,Belfast has been scolding Me already anyway,so I should be taking a break

Chocola:ok then *yawn*Chocola and Master will have fun tomorrow *snore*

I looked down to see,that Chocola had fallen asleep on my chest as she lightly snored,perhaps the sudden emotional shift from absolute worry and fear to complete easiness and peace made her feel tired as she slept on Me,I sighed before sighing as I picked her up in my arms and carried her in a princess style carry as I stood up from my seat,I brought her over to the couch and gently laid her down on it as I lifted her head up and placed a pillow from the couch under it before laying her head back down

I then walked back to my seat and took the papers on the desk as I laid them out in front of Me,I looked back to Chocola before working on the papers as I smiled at her while she slept soundly on the couch

Shadow(mind):tomorrow,we'll have a lot of fun tomorrow,My little Neko

Author:hey guys hope you all enjoyed this chapter,going to be honest with you all,I'm losing motivation with this story,not because I'm losing ideas or having writers block but the overall performance of this book is just so lackluster that I can't get the motivation to work on it so much,I'll keep writing the book but I'll probably be making shorter chapters than usual like this one,but enough of that,I hope you all look forward to the next one,until next time
