A/n: Onwards to happy turned depressive, but needed for growth chapters for our Valkyries and Valkyrie-Gundam Meisters. Why don't we start this off with a conversation of you with Screwllum in the HSR world after your own simulated universe experience?

Inside the room, Y/n with the rest of the Astral Express and CB team on the back watching him and listening to his conversation with Screwllum on the phone of Celestial Being.

Screwllum: So, Mr. Y/n, shall we begin?

Y/n: Go ahead.

Screwllum: Mr. Y/n L/n. How is your experience in the Simulated Universe on your device?

Y/n: Well... fun, a roller coaster of combat and emotional moments... but filled with mysteries and questions that needed to be solved.

Screwllum: Such as questions involving what?

Y/n: That world's origin, its technology, its enemies, and a lot more.

Screwllum: *clears throat* I noticed that you have trouble answering the survey. Please tell me the story of your recent experience in that universe.

Y/n looks at Screwllum through the webcam breaths to compose himself and opens his mouth to begin his tale—the tale of his adventure in the Corrupted World.

August 2016 CE

(Honkai World)
2 years after the 3rd Eruption

Up above is a floating ship with Honkai flying on the city of Sapphire. The city is on high alert as armies of Honkai beasts are invading the city. Jet drones from Schicksal are deployed, shooting or trying to ram the vehicle towards the beasts.

On the helipad of a building, Kiana donned her White Comet battlesuit walks near the edge as she heard Himeko Murata's call in her earpiece.

Himeko: Kiana, double time! Y/n and the others are already getting close to the ship!

Kiana: Aye, aye! Don't push me. It's hard work out here!

As the winds were cut through by the jet drones, one jet rammed into a beast which damaged the right wing and the beast shot it down to the power core and into explosive flames. Kiana taps something on her earpiece and a visor is made before she just backflips and sees an incoming jet near her and she gets an idea.

Kiana: Neko~ Charm!

Her axe kicks in the air with the mech paw of a cat stomping its nose. Making it flipped over and she rides underneath it with her grav boots activated. Himeko from the coms of Hyperion saw this and just facepalms in dismay.

Himeko: For the love of-! *sigh* Maintain discipline, Valkyrie!

Meanwhile, near Kiana's location, Y/n is taking care of the Honkai beasts while flying with his Exia battlesuit. When he saw what Kiana did on the city's CCTV.

Y/n: Kiana, I saw that. You're making Theresa and Himeko have a heart attack for every suicidal dangerous stunt you pull.

Kiana: I'll take care of these zombies and beasts, after that I can finally reunite with Mei–senpai in the ship.

Y/n just shifted his head left and right and posed his hard fist behind a sneaking Archangel beast as its core was only shattered by his hard fist when it collided. He then dodges multiple Archangels that swarm attack around him and simply ignited his GN Sword with GN Particle coating before spinning around the Archangels like a top.

After that, he saw a jet fly past him, it was the drone ship Kiana's riding suddenly got hit by a beast on the drone's engines and its flight suddenly started to become unstable. It crashes into a building nearby, she manages to survive as the building begins to collapse and she jumps onto a floor below her and the part of the building collapsed now leans to the other building, damaged.

Y/n: Kiana, you good?

Kiana: I'm good. I just need to take care of these zombies.

Y/n: Copy, I'm going ahead and check the others to make sure they have infiltrated the ship successfully.

Y/n flies off towards the ship as he continues to catch up to others. He discovers a bridge and on top of it, are incoming trailer trucks that are speeding at excessive acceleration. It rams all the cars, including civilians still on the bridge, evacuating before it tumbles and explodes at the bridge.

It is now destroyed completely and all cars and civilians are falling into the ocean below. He then sneakily uses his ELS powers to move the bridge for further seconds and make sure the others survive. It shatters as Y/n contacted Himeko.

Y/n: Himeko, I'm going into the ship and help out the two. Kiana will follow.

Himeko: Understood. Destroy any hostiles in the area on the way, clear?

Y/n: Crystal.

Y/n boards the ship as he easily dodges the Honkai enemies, it's also grateful he has his GN Drive activated making sure that the coms and cams on the ship, including the old fool's not watching his move.

While he fights the enemies, he hears a voice inside his head.

???: Is this your last rodeo on the girls? *pouts* That was... fast.

Y/n: 'Fast? Says the one who managed to get in my head and find out about my true nature after Xuanyuan...'

Y/n: 'Ely.'

The voice known as Ely as what she said to him to name and call her, started to cry like a little kid but she's just faking it due to her... attitude. Meanwhile, Kiana finally has the ship on her sights and checks to Himeko.

Kiana: Himeko, I've sent the Honkai Beasts packaging. The Selene is within my sight.

Himeko: Roger. Prepare to land, Kiana.

(Stops ost)

Kiana then drops on the wings of the mothership and continues to move forward fast while kicking the zombies off the ship and into the sea below her. She heard Himeko's call on her coms.

Himeko: Kiana, status report?

Kiana: I'm on deck! Everything's going smoothly, Himeko!

Himeko: How many times do I have to tell you that you may only address me as Major Himeko?! *sighs* Ahem. 30 minutes before the battleship crashes in the city, that's all the time you've got to seize the ship's helm. We can't let it destroy Sapphire City, you're teammates are in position already to clear the way and rendezvous on the backdoor of the ship leading to the helm.

As she says the word "teammate", Kiana brightens up as she asks.

Kiana: Mei! You're talking about Mei, right? I'll be meeting up with Mei, right?!

Y/n: Gee, calm down, you're too loud and excited. You're still connected to my coms by the way.

Himeko: Stay vigilant. We've lost track of that Imperator you've fought.

Kiana: Pfft. By the time that idiot comes around, I'll be riding this battleship home.

Just then, she hears her senpai's voice, reporting her location and situation.

Mei: Kiana, it's Mei. I'm in position.

Kiana: Mei!? Awesome! I'll head over right now!

Mei: Hey, wait. We should follow the battle plan...!

Kiana: We're the bestest partners! We must stick together to make things easier for them!

Mei: I... I think it should be "make things easier for us."

Kiana: Whatever. The battle plan also allowed us to be "flexible and respond as required", right? Just wait for me!

Kiana then runs as Y/n only thinks of this with Ely as he continues to evade the enemy's attacks before parrying the weapon and using it against itself, hitting its chest dead center.

Y/n: This attitude certainly reminds me of someone back in my home...

Ely: 'Agreed.'

In Mei's position, she dodged another attack from a zombie as she rapidly slashed through the zombies, killing them. She sheathed her sword behind her back, unaware of another zombie behind her. But then rapid steps approached from the halls of the ship as Kiana surprised Mei with an attack on the missed zombie she looked behind her with her right hand gripped to her weapon's handle. Kiana embraced and cheered Mei after having a little reunion.

Kiana: Mei! We'll get the strength of a hundred warriors if Mei's around!

Mei: A hundred? I'm no Ultrawoman...

(Ultrawoman Elea author: ACHOO!!!)

Kiana: I mean that if Mei's around me, I can feel my power increase one hundred-fold!

Mei: *giggles* That's something Kiana would say.

As they continued going towards the helm's backdoor, Y/n contacted them.

Y/n: Ok, we get it for being "flexible". Just don't take it too literally when Mei's here.

Himeko: I might reconsider your battle unit if you do well. Now, do you remember why I assigned you to Mei?

Kiana: Uhm... Because we are soulmates with a special connection?

Y/n: BAKA!!!!!!!!

Kiana: GAAAAAAAGH!!!

Y/n: It's for countering types of enemies, not for having synchronizing dates!

Mei blushed at this as Himeko just couldn't believe what she heard from her student. But at least her stress was eased a bit thanks to Y/n's intervention.

Kiana is just rubbing her bump and Y/n goes on ahead as he clears the Honkai beasts in his way. He contacts Bronya by tapping on the side of his helmet and checks in with her.

Y/n: Bronya, how's your hacking going?

Bronya: Subject Y/n, the security of this ship is much harder than the one in Hyperion. It will take me some time to do this alone.

Y/n: Alone? Did you get another way to hack this ship much more easily?

Bronya: Da. The Bronya sees another control panel near your location. Please connect your hacking device with the main frame of the ship and we can easily hack the mothership to seize control of it. Sending coordinates to your suit, now.

Y/n: Got it, Bronya. Let me just slay these last three kitsune zombies before I go.

Y/n ends the call and just looks at the enemy's 3 zombies surrounding him as he dodges a downward strike by the first zombie attacking him and a slash going to his neck by leaning his back before backflip-kicks their blades to disarm.

After that, he started to cut them into multiple pieces with his sword before he threw a GN beam dagger at the last zombie's head, and finally, for good measure, he sliced the dagger down to cut her in half. He puts the dagger back before he gets to the control panel and he connects to the ship's mainframe and contacts Bronya.

Y/n: I'm in. 'Good thing I learned a thing about hacking or two in AST.' OK, now what do we do?

Bronya: Subject Y/n and the Bronya need to contain the Honkai radiation first and disable its security systems. How's Mei and Idiotka doing?

Y/n was about to answer when he saw the two fighting at the backdoor leading to the ship's helm. They continued hacking its way in to make sure its backdoor would be open.

Y/n: Doing good so far. Speaking of this ship, I heard that this ship was intended to convert Honkai energy into the Earth's energy like electricity for example.

Bronya: Bronya doesn't know about it and I have a feeling Matushka is planning something to do with this.

Y/n: *sigh* Alright, alright. Just wanna ask though... If you have the chance to see the world your best friend, or rather girlfriend at this point, what will you do?

Bronya: The Bronya... will fulfill a forgotten promise I vividly remembered.

Y/n felt the empathy of Bronya as she was not the only one who saw their little reunion before it happened. He and Ely were there the Project X-10 and its discovery of the Sea of Quanta (Azure Waters story).

Flashback

Bronya: The Bronya can't feel sad anymore...

Seele: You have to go before it's too late. Take this, I found it in a chest of this place. It has the power to rebuild. It will help you in the real world.

Their first kiss, and also their last reunion, witnessed by two beings with celestial powers. Both promised each other to reunite in the real world together.

Y/n: Truly precious of those two, ain't that right, Ely?

Ely: *squels* They're so purrrr-fect! I wanna hug them when they reunite in real life too!

Flashback end

As he remembered it he suddenly saw an Emperor type zoom past him without noticing he was there. He immediately contacted Mei and Kiana to warn them.

Y/n: Mei, Kiana! You got an Emperor type coming towards your location, and a warning, it's packed with more toughness and firepower!

Kiana and Mei soon heard the sound of the flying beast as it dropped down on their platform. A flame-type emperor that spews out burning fire from its hollow body and lava coursing to its veins. As it landed it created a flaming shockwave that they easily evaded. They started attacking the giant with their weapons.

Kiana shot her pistol at it and landed a flurry of kicks to its head Mei got its lower half by slashing its torso before rapidly slashing the body, but what they didn't realize was that the beast had already readied a charged shockwave attack more powerful than the former.

It activated it and knocks back Kiana, hitting the metal wall and Mei blocking it's flame-coated arrowheads spinning fast, and Mei isn't holding on very long though.

Kiana: Knnngh...! It's much stronger than I thought.

Mei: 'I can't... fall here! I must save... Kiana'

HoT: Allow me to take this part. Time to stretch my legs for a bit! Don't worry, I won't kill your girlfriend and my boyfriend... yet'

Mei: 'Wait...!'

*BA-DUMP*

[3rd Herrscher activity detected. Restriction protocols initiated.]

In an instant, the emperor's defenses are broken by Mei who is now possessed by her Herrscher.

Mei (HoT): Go to hell, scumbag!

Mei started to rain down her wrath by coating the sword with a little bit of her power causing the beast to become overloaded by how much heat it was receiving from the attacks. Mei dodges its attack as she hovers in the air for a bit and sends illusions of energy slashes to its body, exploding from the inside bit by bit with each slash she spills to its whole armor.

Within a few seconds, its life core is exposed and the beast is weakened. She ended it with a void slash that was sent towards the beast and it exploded emitting a small sonic boom after it was done. She licked the Honkai-stained blade and coated it to her lips as she smirked lustfully.

Mei(HoT): I know you're watching, Y/n... My offer still stands for becoming one with me... Don't keep me waiting for too long.

After that, Mei is now back in control as she immediately gets to Kiana to treat her properly. Bronya meanwhile saw what happened along with Y/n who finished seizing control of the ship's Honkai radiation spread and moved on to where the duo were to help them out. She mutters to herself about not being able to do anything.

Bronya: Mei... Kiana... Y/n... The Bronya must be... faster...

Bronya finally manages to open the door leading towards where the three are currently, as she opens it up she sees the dissolving corpse of the beast and Mei is cradling Kiana's head as Y/n checks her pulse.

Mei: Bronya... Thank goodness you're here and you're alright... *almost faints*

Y/n: Whoa, easy now. You two activated the failsafe so don't push yourself too far just yet.

Bronya: Subject Y/n, is Mei alright?!

Y/n: Well, they just fought a flaming variant of the Emperor class, so they exhausted themselves. Come on, let's get them inside. I just accessed the bridge of this mothership, so we'll be safe there temporarily until further notice.

Meanwhile, at St. Freya's Command Center, Theresa and Himeko are watching the situation with the staff handling multiple radar scans, and navigation screens while the others are keeping an eye on the news reports to make sure the real threat about the mothership gets worse than it already has.

Himeko: Status report?

Staff: They're inside the ship ma'am and heading towards the bridge.

Theresa: Okay, once this is over. We'll bring this ship home. Also, Himeko you help me with the exams tomorrow since these might be their final exams before they rank up to their higher Valkyrie and Knight ranks.

Himeko: Got it. I'll make Y/n's higher since he's already an S Rank Knight.

Staff began to mutter about rumors of Y/n being a higher rank of Knight. Also, they started to assume a rumor that there would be a new Captain of Hyperion after her and Y/n's retirement.

Theresa: The crew here needs to understand that despite incoming new staff to replace those who retired a year back, I will never change my love for the people who have worked hard for the Hyperion crew these past few years.

Theresa then remembered her talk with Y/n a year ago about his retirement plan.

Flashback (a year ago)

Theresa: What?!

Y/n: Yeah... I plan to retire next year if needed to have a small break.

Theresa: But you haven't even given them lessons to learn!

Y/n: About that... I only give lessons to those who dare to venture into the world's ups and downs. Like my life has become ever since I was born from a tube that made and kept me alive for the past years.

Theresa: I... I don't get you.

Y/n: Do you remember about the Project Sirin?

Theresa: Of course, I do, it's-! *primes her Oath of Judah* Wait a minute! How did you-?!

Y/n: Listen to me, it has a reason and it's related to my retirement plan and about your gramps!

Theresa abruptly halts when he mentions the reasons for acquiring such a classified offer. She still pointed her lance towards him as she simply sat on the couch and started to talk to him about his retirement plans.

Flashback end

Theresa: 'Still though, even with a parallel version of the dragon back in 2nd Eruption although black hole theme, how would this help our war against the Honkai?!'

But back on the ship, Mei has a bandage on her forehead and around her chest thanks to Bronya's care. Kiana meanwhile is patching her small wound on her cheek after the battle. They bypassed multiple fail safes of security such as lasers almost hitting their privates even with the girls' acrobatic skills.

Y/n just swiftly evades them with no effort including the spikes. Everyone is surprised when the spikes hit him did no effect but only dulled its sharp points. When they finally reached the bridge of the ship, they found no one.

Mei: Bronya, you must have helped us access the interiors of this ship with Y/n. How is the combat?

Bronya: Combat performance nominal. This defense system is familiar to the Bronya. Hacking is simple

Mei: When you said familiar to you, you mean back when you were with Anti-Entropy?

Bronya: Affirmative. Designs, features, and even slogans and logos bear the marks of Anti-Entropy. The Bronya does not understand why this unmanned battleship appeared here.

Bronya then taps into the ship's netframe and taps multiple buttons on each monitor hologram she sees as a problem that needs attention.

Bronya: No hostile units at the bridge. Project Bunny 19C, forcing access into the main control system.

Her keyboard hologram has notified her and granted access.

Bronya: no login passwords, full administrator's privileges granted, non-conformance with standard protocols. But why? It's strange, something related to an engine called, GN Drive.

Y/n is talking to Kiana trying to give a heads up if she's still in one piece, but when he heard the main component to power their Gundams is in the ship's data files.

Himeko: This is weird, they're giving us a free battleship? Be careful, Bronya. The enemy may have hidden a few trojans in the code.

Bronya notices the mailbox with 2 unread mail in it, she finds it strange and questionable.

Bronya: Major, Bronya found strange mail in the master controller unit.

Himeko: Mail?

Bronya reads out the first email's content.

Bronya: "Dear Kiana! Greetings. We hereby return you the battleship Selene after 14 years. You shall ascend the throne and rule this world. But before that, you'll need to find 4 keys. Lightning of Conquest, Fire of Affliction, Storm of Desire, and Death of Tranquility. PS. The password to the bridge is your birthday."

Kiana: Wait, why is this mail written for me?

Himeko: Kiana, do you know anything about this? Do you know anyone who would write letters like this to you?

Kiana: No... I'm clueless... Don't you think I'd remember if I had a friend so rich they could give me a battleship? Plus my stupid old man probably can't write anything like this.

Himeko: Lightning of Conquest, Storm of Desire, they sound familiar to me but I don't know where.

Nobody does but Y/n knows better than anybody between the three factions who can only send that kind of sweet yet manipulative way of writing a letter.

Y/n: 'The old-hagged Russian... Also, those elements and quality descriptions about life... The gems!'

Himeko: Kiana, tell Bronya your birthday.

Kiana: Huh?! Why would I tell them my birthday? Himeko, this is just a stupid prank.

Y/n: I don't think it's just any prank. When Bronya mentions the planned power source to operate this ship for eternal time, I can't help but feel uneasy.

Mei: Well, looks like we have no choice. Bronya, Kiana's birthday is December 7th (12-7)

Kiana: Hey!! Mei!

[Navigation privileges granted. Re-routing vessel. New destination set: St. Freya High School]

Kiana: What?! They used my birthday as a password!

Mei: We'll fly the battleship back to St. Freya High and get to the bottom of this. It seems that the people sending this battleship harbor had no ill intentions.

But suddenly they heard Bronya grunting and clutching her head. Mei and the other two got worried, but before they could even react they were pushed away by Y/n who had blocked an attack from the haywire Bronya whose clothing was now dark and flowed by Honkai blood.

Dark Bronya: VALKYRIE SYSTEM. Bio-chip anomaly detected, force activate the emergency system. Rebooting. *looks glaringly at Exia* Switching to troubleshooting mode. Purge all surrounding hostiles.

Y/n: Whoever you are, you're cooked in more ways than one.

He jumped over Bronya when she tried to go for a devastating backhand punch, she followed up by firing micro missiles at her which all disintegrated into clouds of dust by one beam from the GN Sword Rifle mode. He started to clash his sword against its tough shield by slashing in multiple directions.

She staggered him by punching him on the abdomen stunning him on the ground for a bit before he saw a shadow over him and backed away by dashing with his GN Drive power thrusters. He notices the micro missiles firing at him again and he slashes them all with his sword before putting up a finishing blow. 

Starting by dismantling her gun's barrel and knocking her out with two hook strikes of his fists.

Mei: Bronya! Please wake up!

Bronya's eyes are finally coming around when Mei tries to call her. When she opened her eyes she saw Himeko's hologram, Kiana behind Mei, and Y/n tampering with the master controller unit.

Bronya: Mei, what happened?

Kiana: Great! You're finally coming around!

Bronya: The Bronya... may have lost control over her chip...

Himeko: Valkyries, are the communications back online? Bronya?! Are you alright?!

Bronya: The Bronya is alright... Major Himeko, please arrange a full physiological exam for the Bronya at school. The Bronya will not drag anyone down, in any way.

Himeko: *smiles* Okay, granted. Y/n, what are you doing in the master controller unit?

Y/n: Well, I just stopped the GN Drives this mothership is powering up and infected Bronya too quickly. 'Not to mention, it's colored red... This is troubling' There's another message that hasn't been read right?

Y/n opens the mail and reads it for everyone to be able to hear.

Y/n: "Greetings, fellow Trailblazer. We would like to advise that you only have 5 months until the beta test is closed, For approval of owning the rights to enter the Honkai world, you must meet me under the tree that grew from the Seeds of Sumeru along with your old and new companions you made in this world in a dreamy slumber. PS: Only you and the elf can know the reason why and only to you alone. Also, the power on this ship might affect other's who tamper with the controls for the first time, it's suitable for your Ptolemaios ship."

This made them feel strange and find themselves filled with curiosity and confusion about what the message meant. Kiana asked about this like a tuna's way of learning.

Mei: A ship? Y/n, you have a mothership too?

Kiana: Trailblazer? Okay, I get what the last sentence meant but what's with all the mumbo-jumbo seed he's spitting out now?

Y/n: I don't know... 'I have to, Kiana. You're too young yet to learn about it.' But one thing's for sure, he must've been the second individual to enter the ship after the first group who made this happen. Himeko, Theresa, I'll archive what I need before the complete process of reboot starts when we get back. Mei, I don't know what is he even talking about.

Himeko: Understood. Also, we need to talk after you come home.

Y/n nodded and he saw the girls smiling at them knowing they'd be alright. But deep down, he was saddened and felt guilty about what he knew and was about to do. The dark days are approaching much faster. He only has a few months to show the world their true colors and the start of the Great Eruption War. But first, he must meet the Pioneer of the Honkai Multiverse laying under the tree that bloomed from the Seeds of Sumeru.

A/n: Ok, one forgotten manga that I have read but never got the time to add in is now here. Another will be added in the next chapter, the 2nd Divine Key manga add-on. Honestly I got no idea on what to add on to the first two chapters of the game since they're all short levels and merely the prologue of the real deals in the game's storyline. Did I done good or no?
