In this universe, there is a phenomenon known as the Honkai that occurs periodically throughout history. To exterminate humanity, the Honkai brings about natural disasters and causes widespread epidemics, an example is the Black Death occurred in 1470.

As if the problem was already worse, Honkai creates and spawns its monstrous minions to devour the human race called Honkai Beasts who possess some strong feats from the Honkai.

With these problems painting the whole human race in red blood, they're unable to defy it. It will leave a scar to some people who survive these calamities, however the Honkai's presence will infect the minds of those traumatic survivors at any moment.

For the maidens who possessed the antibodies, the antibodies itself would take on the shapes of unique markings on their skin. Thus, people came to call them Stigmata.

These Stigmata allowed the girls to control the power of the Honkai. Until the Honkai Antibody that had a 1% chance of manifesting appeared on a maiden's body, an individual example is Yae Sakura with the Herrscher of Corruption's manifestation.

In order to fight back against the Honkai, an organization known as Schicksal was founded centuries ago.

After many years of "research", a form of Artificial Antibody that could be injected into the bodies of maidens was created. Schicksal obtained a sample of the Honkai Antibody from the Kaslana and Schariac families. They were identified as Artificial Stigmata.

However due to the lacking samples of Stigmata, the creation of Artificial Stigmata was flawed and a fatal mistake. Not only were they less potent than the Natural Stigmata, they also shortened the wielder's lifespans.

Apart from the Kaslana and Schariac Stigmata, there were also others that existed only in legends. These are classified as True/Legendary Stigmata.

The Legendary Stigmata possess much higher power levels than the Natural type and will stomp the Artificial type like it's nothing. But the bad side is that this symbolizes those people who have been chosen to become a Herrscher: a loyal guard of Honkai to fulfill its goal to destroy humanity.

But one Legendary Stigmata was never obtained by anybody as this was impossible to do and holds a mysterious power. Some tried to obtain it all on their own for personal and greed for power but they died and assimilated in the process.

A cryo-pod is now melting as the voice of Yae Sakura is thinking about what happened in the past years of her slumber in the cryo-pod.

Yae Sakura: How long have I been sleeping in that chamber...? I've lost so much my mother, my sister. Now my father and the rest of the clan have been eliminated because of their corrupted doings to us.

As the cryo-pod's cryostasis mode is now disabled, the hatch is opened and ascends the sleeping Sakura in the pod. Two persons are watching her to wake up as her eyes furrow and she groans as her vision is now blurred and slowly becomes clearer as she sees the two people familiar to her.

Yae Sakura: But one thing's for certain, I don't want to see that smile of Kallen's to be gone.

Kallen: Good morning, sweetheart.

Rin: Welcome back to the land of living, my dear sister.

*Opening 2 Season 1 plays*

It's been 2 days since Theresa was rescued from her mission in Nagazora city where she was almost killed by the Stigmata data space that was controlled by RIN. This is her 2nd day of being checked up by a doctor as she's sitting in her hospital bed after being checked up by the doctor named Linda Vashti.

Linda: Alright, you're cleared. However you can't wield your weapon for now as your condition has just recently healed and the stigmata on your back needs further investigation. You'll be able to join the battlefield the next day.

Theresa: Thank you so much, doctor.

After that a knock was heard as they looked at the opened door of her room to see Himeko waiting at the front door.

Theresa: Oh, it looks like I need to have some talks with my few staff members here.

Linda: Ah, yes. My apologies, I'll leave you to your own businesses ladies and gentleman.

Linda then leaves in a hurry as she passes her.

Theresa starts to talk to her as she is standing beside her bed and Theresa apologizes to her first.

Theresa: Sorry for calling you immediately. But there is something I want to talk about that cannot be heard by those three youngsters, including Y/n.

Himeko: It's alright, what I'm more worried about is you after what I've heard from Kiana about what happened to you after we picked you up from Nagazora. Is it really okay for you to be on duty already after the doctor told you that you're combat ready tomorrow?

Theresa: Wait, it's not like I want to go there to fight again with my body in this state. I just want to watch the situation and of course, "them" for now while I recover.

Himeko: What do you want to talk about?

Theresa: Well, about this...

She then shows behind her lower back the circling 3-tomoe mark of Stigmata that belonged to Yae Sakura once.

Himeko: Oh, this marking? I just got an update that the Far Eastern research development branch has confirmed that this is a new Stigmata separate from those belonging to the Kaslana and Schariac bloodlines.

Himeko then asks Theresa, knowing that she had learned some basics about how Valkyries operate and powers they acquired.

Himeko: Is this what I think it is?

Theresa: It's one of the Legendary Stigmata.

Himeko reads about those types of Stigmata that originated from legendary Valkyries in ancient times. She never even gave thoughts about it and now seeing it first hand, brings her back to that moment.

Himeko: To think that they really exist... For thousands of years, Schicksal had only been able to discover two natural Stigmata; now a third one has appeared. How did you get it and appear?

Theresa: I... I remember back during the mission in Chiba that a pink haired girl and myself touched each other's foreheads and then something sparked and flowed into my body.

Himeko: But then, according to what you said, is it possible that stigmata can be transferred between users?

Theresa: Exactly, and that's why I came to find you two. You two are aware that the process of applying Artificial Stigmata towards Valkyries is proved not perfect, and greatly shortens their lifespans as a result.

Himeko fell silent because she went through this operation at a late age by being held on a seat with restraints for her wrists and ankles and the Artificial Stigmata will apply on her through the syringe and inject it on her nape.

Lately the side effects of the artificial Stigmata on her back are getting more severe to the point where she only had one year left to live. She tries her best to hide it from everyone except for Theresa.

Himeko: So you wish to transfer the Stigmata to my body? If that's the case, I'd be immensely grateful.

Himeko: Unfortunately, we were unable to figure out how to transfer Stigmata. I also don't know how the girl was able to transfer it to me. However if we could find more Stigmata, we should be able to figure out a way to transfer them.

Himeko: So then... Where could we possibly find another Stigmata?

Theresa then picks something up from the cabinet and reveals an old paper scroll as she throws it at her hand and unrolls it up to reveal its contents which made her sweat drop that this writing and language is based on the country China.

Himeko: What is this? And what's with this strange language?

Theresa: It's the language of the Yellow Emperor. This scroll is an Ancient Artifact written by a villager of Shennong.

Himeko is still confused from an information that's related to a Chinese artifact that was written in their language as Theresa explains it.

Theresa: It details the legend of the Yellow Emperor. According to the records, the Yellow Emperor possessed a marking that granted her mystical abilities.

Himeko unrolls the paper even more leaving the already seen contents on the first part to fall on the floor with Theresa continuing explaining the legend story of the Yellow Emperor.

The drawing is the girl that represents the Yellow Emperor with a Stigmata mark floating on her hands as she kneels as high as the mountains beside her.

Theresa: The drawing of the marking closely resembles that of a Stigmata. If the legends are true, then the Yellow Emperor might have been a Stigmata user.

She then saw the third part as she unrolls the scroll more showing the mountains with Honkai Beast drawings and the girl facing a giant Honkai Beast. Two words inscribed in normal English language at the labels in the scrolls. The first is the word Chiyou and the other is Xianzhou.

Theresa: The scrolls say that the Yellow Emperor made use of this marking to repel the Honkai hordes. It later states that the Yellow Emperor also traveled to a place called Xianzhou and fought the Honkai Beast known as Chiyou. But the second half of the scroll has been damaged and we don't know the rest of the story.

Himeko: So it's highly likely that the Yellow Emperor's body is in this place called Xianzhou? If she really had a Stigmata, would it still be on her after all this time?

Himeko is doubting this as she never knew about the place called Xianzhou or a monster named Chiyou.

Himeko: In any case, where is Xianzhou located?

Theresa: It's been 4000 years since the scroll was made. The only thing we were able to determine is that Xianzhou is near today's Guangzhou. We can only find out more once we're there. Also, if we could find the Stigmata, the legendary sword might be there as well.

Himeko: The legendary Xuanyuan Sword, used by the Yellow Emperor before. If we could find it, it'll help with Schicksal's research in Divine Keys as well.

Theresa: *nods* Correct. So your mission is to head to Guangzhou City in China and find more clues as to where Xianzhou is. Of course, find also the Stigmata and the sword.

Himeko closes the scroll and puts it in her pocket and answers Theresa.

Himeko: Understood. What about the team taking part in this mission?

Theresa: Bring Fu Hua with you. She was born there and would know the area as well. Also, bring Kiana and Y/n along too. I think it's time to let her go on a field trip and Y/n go on a sightseeing trip.

Himeko: *salutes* Roger that.

Theresa: Godspeed, Major Himeko.

Meanwhile in the training dojo of St. Freya.

Kiana is fighting against Fu Hua and Y/n watches from the sidelines. Both girls are wearing sports bras and sports shorts while Y/n is still watching their fight and not being a perverted person as he analyzes their fighting styles while he's listening to kung fu fighting music.

Y/n is seeing Kiana's moves as she attacks Fu Hua with a high kick but Fu Hua reacts quickly and blocks it with her left arm and her right hand as a support.

But Kiana folded her arm with her leg and used it as a pole to twist around her position and is now on top of her. She starts landing multiple blows at her with her fists as Fu Hua blocks them all. She catches one of her wrists as Kiana was suddenly thrown away from her.

But she is not done yet as she lands her hand and her feet on the floor to stop herself and lunges at her with a front jump kick. She glares and simply parries her kick with her left hand as Kiana was shocked and was suddenly knocked back with a palm strike to her chest.

Kiana was knocked back against the dojo's walls; she was exhausted and damned herself from defeat.

Kiana: Damn it... I got careless and lost to that bookworm again! Y/n, what was that move she just used?!

Y/n: Palm Strike. A simple but effective attack against an opponent who has its guards down or slow reflexes. Told you that Fu Hua was an expert in martial arts, not to mention kung fu.

Kiana: Hmph! Whatever, I'd like to see you do better against Eula! How about that?!

Kiana's tone of challenging Y/n fighting Eula made Eula's spirit lifted but also competitive as she knows Y/n is an expert too but can outsmart Fu Hua or Eula in many ways.

Y/n sighs and calls Eula with just his hands offering of a spar. Eula and Y/n positioned themselves as they walked up to the center.

Kiana was suddenly confused about his clothing.

Y/n: You ready?

Eula: Your move.

Y/n suddenly dashes towards as he tries a jab to her abdomen but she blocks it with her hand and she counters with a chopping hand but he catches it and counters with a sweep kick.

She was laid down to the floor but she immediately rolls away as his fist is stuck to the floor and she goes for an axe kick. But he gets out of the axe kick's range of attack as he pulls his hand out immediately.

Then she gets close to him and starts raining down her fast jabs towards him with Y/n blocking and redirecting them with his hands. His fists are slowly glowing on fire with Eula's fists glowing.

For the two girls who are watching on the sidelines are seeing ice blue and fiery flames on the blows. Fu Hua has a thought crossed to her mind from the combat she sees.

Fu Hua: 'Those fighting styles...and those elements... Why did it feel familiar?'

The competitor's fight now finishes up as they both in a stalemate with both fists collided and then kicking each other with their legs collided. They backed off each other as they performed their moves. Y/n's fist in fire and Eula's fist in ice.

Eula: Fuyu no tōshō ken! (Winter Frostbite Fist)

Y/n: Hadō Reppaku-Ken! (Burst Wave Fist)

Their attacks collided and creates a shockwave that shakes the dojo a little bit. Kiana and Fu Hua covered their faces from the elemental reaction. They looked at both competitors exhausted and were on their knees, sweat dripping down to their faces.

Eula: *chuckles* You've got some new move there, Y/n!

Y/n: I can say the same to you! *laughs*

Kiana: Man, how come you're so strong! When I couldn't even make a bruise on you?!

Y/n: Kiana, what if I tell you I was just holding back?

Kiana: Huh?!

Fu Hua doesn't know this herself but her lips curved a small smile for some reason. She can't feel it but her body is acting up strangely when she looks at him and the rest. She can see a blurred image of a past in her mind but her remembrance is broken when she hears a beeping sound to her shirt and she picks it up.

She looked it up and a notification was in and she opened it up. When she sees the contents, her face turns serious and picks her glasses up and wears them.

Fu Hua: Guys, we have a mission. Himeko's calling us to meet her at a restaurant in Guangzhou City. You'll come with us as well, Eula.

Kiana: Eula's also being called up? That's new...

Y/n: Well, whatever it is, it might be important. Come on, everyone. Let's meet up with her.

Guangzhou City, China

Kiana and the squad for the mission are having lunch at the restaurant. Kiana is eating a lot of food while Fu Hua is just calmly drinking her hot matcha tea. Y/n and Himeko talk about their mission.

Himeko: We've been here for 10 days, and we haven't found a single clue about the location of Xianzhou.

Y/n: Well, all info in this scroll about the location of Xianzhou has been lost completely to prevent some greedy bastards taking the precious treasures there or even cursed ones.

Eula: Of course, it's an ancient place after all. So concealing something like that would be because of the Earth's evolution.

Kiana is minding the Chinese Dumpling filling she's eating while the two big girls are scolding her. Y/n's thoughts are somewhere.

Y/n: 'I can still remember that memory, fresh in my mind... Meijin, does a place named Xianzhou exist in yours?'

Meijin: It is, indeed. It's where I was born and met my best friend, Jingliu.

Y/n: 'Friends, huh? Sure... Anyway, I also have to ask; is there a weapon named the Xuanyuan Sword?'

Meijin: Xuanyuan Sword...? Ah, there is! It was previously wielded by a man named Huangdi(Yellow Emperor) before it was passed down to a woman named Qin Suyi. It was told in our history lesson that it went missing when Huangdi cut down a tyrant in Xianzhou back in the day of our ancestors. Until it was found mysteriously in the tyrant's throne room, stabbed in the center of the room, standing upright. It was then removed and wielded by her daughter. Why did you ask?

Y/n: 'Hmm... I see maybe I can help you with that...'

Meijin: Huh? *realizes* Wait, you don't mean?!

Y/n: 'Time to make history...'

But his mindful conversation was snapped out when someone flicked his forehead. He rubs his red burning forehead from the flick as he yells a little bit.

Y/n: OW! Who in-

Eula: Fu Hua is trying to say something towards you but you're not even flinching!

Y/n: Okay, sorry. What were you saying?

Fu Hua: *ahem* From my research, it seems that Xianzhou is rumored to be located at the absolute deepest point in Guangzhou. But for the past 10 days, looking up the lowest parts of the city has not yielded any hints about Xianzhou.

Kiana: You're still researching? My gut feeling is that Xianzhou doesn't exist, and we should focus on deciding what to have for dinner-

Suddenly Himeko's fist slams the table, making the two girls shocked with the exception of Y/n as the trio quickly switch their gaze towards her.

Himeko: Damn it! No matter how slim our chances are, I won't allow myself to give up!

Eula, Fu Hua and Kiana are sweat dropping at her being so worked up about this. Y/n on the other hand is frowning, knowing something about why she is like this today.

Fu Hua: *adjusts her glasses*

Kiana: I've never seen Himeko get so worked up about something!

Y/n: 'Himeko Murata... You've been like this for straight up 5 days after we landed here in China...'

But clearly, someone has heard of their conversation. A woman with a sadistic grin looking at them. Her name is Sin Mal, an Anti-Entropy goon.

Sin Mal: Aww, look at those poor Schicksal idiots. They don't even have the slightest idea of what to do!

???: It seems there were not enough prompts. This won't do. It's time to show these lost sheep the way forward, my little sheepdog.

She stabbed the food beside her with her fork and startled the waitress.

Sin Mal: Who the hell are you calling a sheepdog?!

???: It's just a codename I came up with, sheepdog

She broke the fork off with her teeth and was angry and pissed at them.

Sin Mal: I could just slaughter them all right here and be done with it! Why do we have to use them to locate Xuanyuan?

???: Heh. We still need her help if we are going to have any luck finding the Stigmata in that place. It's not yet the time to hunt these vermin yet. Just play the obedient sheepdog for now, okay?

Sin Mal: Hmph! You stupid old fart!

Her call was cut short when she saw a young boy walking past her. That boy called the St. Freya team out.

???: Xianzhou? Are you three looking for that place mentioned in the legends?

He was wearing a black hoodie open zipped, with olive green headsets on his neck and had gray hair. He then apologizes to them.

Teenage Boy: Sorry for barging into your conversation related to Xianzhou. But if you're looking to get to that city. Then perhaps you'll need my help.

Y/n is looking at the teenage boy with no comments yet a feel of surprise at his appearance. The three girls on the other hand were quite surprised about his knowledge about the place and Sin Mal is just there, almost having temper tantrums.

Sin Mal: Who the hell is this guy?

Nintou: Oh I've forgotten to introduce myself. My name is Bokutsuki Nintou or Nintou for short. It's quite a long tale to tell. So if I could just sit right beside this red-haired girl here and tell the-

But before Nintou could speak any further he was grabbed by Himeko on the collar of his hoodie. Himeko sternly talks to him, restraining her drunken anger before she's pissed and ready to wreak havoc.

Himeko: Get to the point, you a**hat! Tell your damn story, the more detailed the better!

Nintou: *scared* W-Whoa, okay okay! No need to get rough, I'll start right away!

Nintou starts to tell the tale, filled with info about Xianzhou.

Nintou: Back then, it was said that when Chiyou was beaten by Xuanyuan, it fled to Xianzhou. Xianzhou is located at the lowest point of Guangzhou. But when you think about it... How deep can a hole be dug on land? It'll never be as deep as the seabed. So I believe that Xianzhou can be found at the very bottom of Guangzhou's southern ocean.

Himeko just looks at him, taking it all in and drips him to the floor.

Nintou: Ouch!

Fu Hua: The very bottom of the ocean? That seems logical. It says in the scroll that: "In the Classic Mountains and seas...", Xianzhou was always mentioned alongside water.

Himeko: The seabed. No wonder we haven't been getting leads on dry land! Looks like we'll have to set sail. Inform Schicksal's Guangzhou division that we'll need aquatic exploration equipment. We're going to the Southern Ocean.

Himeko then cutely looked at Nintou and thanked him as the team was about to leave to go to the location of Xianzhou.

Himeko: Also, thanks a bunch, boy- I appreciate your help even if I have no interest in you!

Kiana: W-Wait, don't leave me behind! I haven't paid for my food yet!

Nintou: Hold on, at least give me some way to contact you! Even just your phone number would be enough!

Y/n: *sigh* We have been spilling beans too much...

As Y/n left, Sin Mal was just there, leaving the restaurant on the other exit. She turned to a corner leading towards an alleyway. When she's there, she stomps her feet in anger, and it's slowly rising, making her stomping have a more impact than before.

Sin Mal: Who the hell is he, and how does he know all of that? The 2nd half of the scroll has been with me this whole time! I should tie him down and bash some answers out of him! And if he keeps quiet, I'll snap his fingers in half, five at a time!

???: Don't blow your cover just yet. Come back, and we'll monitor Himeko and her company from a safe distance.

Sin Mal: *sighs frustratingly* Fine.

But her anger didn't go unnoticed by some thugs in the alleyway.

Thug: Hey, what are you so angry about?!

Thug: Nah, man let her go. I got a bad feeling about her.

Sin Mal notices this and laughs at them.

Sin Mal: You're right... You should feel bad... After what I'm gonna do to you!

Sin Mal suddenly envelops both victims in the dark as they screamed in horror and excruciating pain. The only thing that the alleyway hears is Sin Mal laughing like a Joker to her victims.

1 hour drive later

The team arrives on the south docks, which it's filled with boats but one of them will lead them to where the Xianzhou is located.

Eula: Why is Y/n taking so long?

Fu Hua: The division's navigation branch has estimated that it'll take us 4 hours to reach our destination.

Himeko: It's not good! It'll cost us too much time.

Nintou: I could take you there.

The team looked to the right and saw Nintou appearing again in front of them, like it's stalking its prey secretly.

Nintou: What a coincidence we met again.

Himeko: Why are you still around?

Kiana: He's been stalking us since we left the restaurant.

Nintou: I forgot to tell you that I happen to have a private Yacht, but I'll only let you use it if I can go down there with you.

Himeko suddenly walks up to him and has enough of his happy go-lucky antics. She grabs his collar again and is pissed at him.

Himeko: Stop messing around! This isn't just for some kicks and giggles, there might be monsters down there! Do you have a deathwish?!

Nintou: I've spent my life going on all sorts of dangerous expeditions. Even if you don't take me with you, I'll simply dive down there by myself. On the other hand...aren't you all a bit short on time?

Himeko looked at him, narrowing her eyes and still not convinced about his reasoning. But it took for Y/n's arrival to let him go and come with them.

Y/n: Himeko, let him go. He'll be fine as long as we're around while we get there. He won't be coming with us as we descend, right?

Nintou: Yeah, I'm only here to get you there but after that you're on your own.

Himeko looks at Y/n when a thought comes across her mind. She then observes him if he's gonna do something to him. But she doesn't ponder into it and lets go of him as they already know, time is running out.

Himeko: *sigh* Alright. But don't expect to call us back on your yacht when trouble brews.

Nintou: Yeah, I know. But anyways, this is my private yacht. Let's get going.

Y/n and Nintou go on ahead to the yacht to set it up. Fu Hua looks in doubt.

Fu Hua: Are you sure this is a good idea?

Himeko: Don't worry, I can tell Y/n has a plan already.

Kiana: Eh?

Eula: That's so like him.

Eula chuckles as Kiana looks in surprise at Himeko and Fu Hua follows along as she trusts her superior's decision.

But then the voices of Y/n and Nintou talking inside the yacht are erupting in an isolated room of the yacht.

Nintou: Is it really them?

Y/n: Yeah.

Nintou: What's the next move?

Y/n: You on the other hand will handle their intervention above waters.

Nintou: So it's time for our organization to take the debut really seriously?

Y/n: Yep, you're the captain of the bridge and you'll be guiding our Meisters.

Nintou: I guess it is... Oh and also... If the time has come for you to...you know. Can you please save her and relay my message that her father apologizes for my disappearance?

Y/n: Yes... I promise that, as a Gundam Meister and her Knight.

Y/n: Murata Ryusuke.
