Manvi was shocked to read the file. She turned to her mom...

"Maa.... itna sab hua, aapne mujhe kyun nahi bataya??" she asked.

Ruhana smiled...

"tere final exams they na. Itna crucial time tha tera. Kaise disturb karti tujhe? " she asked.

"aur khud ne kitna kuch saha. Uska kya? " she asked.

Ruhana smiled at her concern...
"ab tu aa gayi hai na.. Ab sab thik ho jayega. " she said.

" But papa ko handle karna mushkil hota hoga na? " she asked.

Ruhana nodded... "haan hota hai. Jab wo kuch samajhna nahi chahte tab. " she said.

Manvi tended to think something... " but maa aapko sab kuch pata kaise chala? Papa was alright na? " she asked.

"Haan beta. Papa was alright. Lekin ek din hum office jane ke liye nikle toh wo galat raaste pe chale gaye. He was totally lost. Tu jaanti hai na tere papa raaste kabhi nahi bhoolte. " she said.

*Flashback Begins *

Ruhana and Vineet left for their office. They were talking to Manvi on their way and Ruhana was insturcting Manvi about some things as she was away from them in a hostel.

Vineet was smiling hearing his wife. She disconnected the call...

"tum kyun has rahe ho? "she asked.

"Manvi badi ho gayi hai. Tum usey kyun samjhati rehti ho? " je said.

"Maa hoon uski. Ye jo main usko kehti hoon, wo samjhane koi aur nahi aayega. Koi galti ho jayegi na toh log yahi kahenge ki maa ne kuch nahi sikhaya. " she said making a face.

Vineet let out a chuckle. Ruhana glared at him...

"Tum mere aur meri beti ke beech mat bola karo. " she said.

"main kahan bolta hoon. Mannu hi mujhe beech mein lati hai tumhari complaint karke. " he said.

Ruhana shaked her head and looked around. It was then when she realised that they were on the wrong way. She looked at Vineet...

"Vineet hum office ja rahe they na! " she said.

Vineet looked at her... "office hi ja rahe hain Roo." he said.

"Vineet dhyan se dekho. Hum office ke opposite direction mein aa gaye. Yeh raasta mannu ke school ki taraf jata hai. " she said.

"but hum toh office ki taraf mude they. " he said.

"lagta hai baaton mein tum raasta bhool gaye." she said while looking at him.

"nahi roo. Mujhe samajh nahi aa rha ki hum yahan kaise aaye. " he said.

Vineet halted the car and was confused because it never happened in his life. He always knew the perfect ways to his destination.

He tried to recall what happened to him and suddenly held his head and fainted.

Ruhana turned panic and patted his cheeks..

"Vineet utho. " she said.

She took the water bottle and sprinkled some water on his face. He regained unconsciousness. But his head was paining. Ruhana got worried. She asked him to sit on passenger seats and herself drove to home.

She took him inside and made him sleep.

*Flashback ends*

Ruhana sighed...

"kash us din hi maine doctor se consult kiya hota. " she said.

"kyun nahi kiya maa? " Manvi questioned.

"beta mujhe laga ki yunhi hua hoga unhe kuch. Us din jab vineet jaga toh thik tha. Maine socha shayad stress ki wajah se hua hoga. " she said.

"but mumma aapne mujhe bhi nahi bataya. Main jaanti thi aap pareshan ho. But you didn't tell me. " she said.

Ruhana smiled...

"tujhe pareshan nahi karna tha na. Mujhe laga tha ki main sambhal lungi. Lekin nahi... kamzor ho gayi hai teri maa. " she said as tears trickled down her eyes.

Manvi made her sit on the couch. She looked upon her father who was sleeping soundly.

She then sat beside her mother...

"Aap kamzor nhi ho maa. Aur na hi akeli ho. Main aa gayi hoon na. " she said.

"haan jaanti hoon. Isliye toh befikar hoon." she said.

Manvi sighed... "Maa, alzeimers bhoolne ki bimari hai. Khaas khayal rakha jaye toh thik bhi ho sakti hai. " she said.

Ruhana nodded. Manvi looked at her...

"i know aap pareshan ho. Aap papa ka khayal bhi rakhte ho. But mumma we have to be extra careful. " she said.

"jaanti hoon beta. Lekin ab mujhse unki haalat nahi dekhi jati. Kabhi kabhi wo Hume bhi bhool jate hai. " she said, her voice being teary.

Manvi's eyes turned teary too. She held her hands...

"i know mumma. Its really hard. But hum koshish karenge. I will not let anything happen to papa. " she said.

"mera ek dost hai. I will talk to him. Tab tak you have to be strong. Aur mujhe Sameer uncle se milna hai. " she said.

Ruhana nodded... "tujhe jo karna hai kar. I won't stop you, but tujhe apne papa ke sath apna bhi dhyan rkhna hai. " she said.

"i will take care maa. " she said as she hugged her mother, a much soothing hug, that they both needed.

Manvi slept in her mother's lap and they woke up to a loud cracking sound and they were left shocked to see the scenario.
