Ruhana was hugging her brother and crying.

"Aisa kyun hota hai bhaiya? Ache logon ke sath buri cheezein kyun hoti hai? "

He smeared her head and parted the hug...

"Meri behen itni kamzor nahi thi. Aaj kya hua tujhe?? " he asked.

Ruhana looked at him..."haalaat hi aise hain bhaiya. Dekh rahe ho na!! " she said as she looked at Vineet, who was sleeping under the effect of medicines.

"sab thik toh tha bhaiya. But agar us din wo accident na hua hota toh acha hota. Behtar hota hum jaate hi nhi. Lekin vineet ki zidd! Bahut ziddi hain yeh... " she said in a teary voice.

She said and walked down the memory lane.

*Flashback Starts*

Ruhana was in the kitchen preparing food. Vineet and Manvi were discussing something when Manvi shouted aloud..

"Mumma!!! "

She turned around... "Kyun chilla rahi ho Mannu? " she asked.

Manvi kept her hands on her waist...

"na aap Mannu ki baat sunti ho aur na mannu ke papa ki. Buri ho aap. " she complained.

Ruhana eyed at Vineet who nodded innocently..

"mujhe kuch nahi pata. " he said.

"tum dono baap beti ko kuch pata toh hai nahi. Pehle pata karo, fir aana mere pas " she said and turned over the gas.

Manvi walked to her and held her hand... "Mannu ki baat suno pehle. " she said.

Ruhana sighed..."bolo! "she said.

"School mein 10 days ki chutti hai. Mannu ko bahar jana hai. "she said.

"apne papa se kaho. Chuttiyan unko manage karni hai. " she said.

"Papa is ready. Aap Haan kar do na. Mumma please. Kitne dinon baad hum ek saath ghumenge. " she said excitedly.

"Hann Roo.... Chalte hain na. Waise bhi ab hume bhi break ki zarurat hai. " he said.

"Mumma please. Lonavala jaate hain na. Maza aayega. No more demand... I promise. " she said.

"same here. "Vineet said looking at her innocently.

Ruhana smiled... "okay fine. Hum jayenge. "

Manvi chuckled with joy and hugged her... "thank you mumma. " she said and rushed to her room.

Ruhana turned around and Vineet hugged her...

"don't worry. Kuch bura nahi hoga.. Tum aur manvi ho na mere sath."he asked.

She nodded turning towards him. He kissed on her head...

"then don't worry. Sab acha hoga. " he said.

She nodded and hugged him.

*Flashback Ends*

She came out of the trance looked at him with teary eyes.....Sachin looked at her...

"you be here. Main doctor se mil ke aata hoon. "he said and left the room.

Ruhana glanced at Vineet. A drip was attached on his wrist. She touched his fingers...

"kyun mujhe itna satate ho Vineet. Please wake up. Main tumhe yahan is hospital mein nahi dekh sakti. Wake up vineet." her eyes were teary.

A warm touch brought her back from the trance. She looked at her brother...

" Kabhi kabhi zindagi hamare control mein nahi rehti ruhana.....Kuch cheezein bas ho jaati hain. Waise hi tumhari zindagi mein ye ho gaya. You have to stay strong. Mannu aane wali hogi. You have to be strong for her. " he informed.

Ruhana looked at him.... "agar hum hospital ho toh aap usko leke ghar chale jana. " she said with a fear in her voice.

"Wo ek doctor hai Ruhana. Let her meet the doctor. Aur waise bhi wo kal subah tak aayegi. " he said.

Ruhana looked at him. He said.... "it will all be fine. " he said.

Tears rolled down her eyes while sachin hugged her. She cried off her pain in her Brother's embrace when they heard a low voice of Vineet .....He was taking Ruhana's name. She rushed to him caressed his hair. He looked around and seemed unknown to the place. He tried remembering the events but it all went in vain. He held his head and a painful sigh escaped his lips. It worried Ruhana and she held his hands....

"Vineet zyada mat socho. Tum safe ho. Hum doctor Shah ke clinic pe hain. " she said.

Vineet looked at her suspiciously. She sighed but at the same time, Dr Shah aka Vivaan Shah entered in the room. He smiled at Ruhana and moved to Vineet.

"Kaise ho Vineet? " he asked.

"Thik hoon. Lekin main yahn? " he asked as he couldn't remember anything.

Vivaan smiled... "don't worry Vineet. Stress mat lo. Tum Achanak unconscious ho gaye they, Ruhanaji ghabra gayi thi. Isliye she brought you here. "he informed.

Vineet nodded while Vihaan gave a prescription to Ruhana with some instructions. She agreed and then sachin took them home.

RuVi Home...

Ruhana took Vineet into the bedroom and made him comfortable on the bed. She asked him to rest and moved out of the room. She saw Sachin entering in with some medicines and food.

Sachin asked her to take care and give medicines to Vineet on time. Ruhana just nodded and Sachin smeared her head and she hugged him again. Making her comfortable, Sachin left for his home. Ruhana entered inside her room and found Vineet sleeping.

She sat beside him and hold his hand......She remembered something which made her eyes wet....

"I'm with you always. Tum Humesha mere sath they, ab main hoon. We have promised to be together. And we have to. Theek hi jao vineet. Main tumhe aise nahi dekh skti. " her eyed were teary.

She eased herself on the bed moving her fingers in his hair and drifted into sleep.
