Hello everyone, so you may know how I have been constantly talking about wanting to edit my books? Well, I have Actually heavily edited the first chapter of Coffee Stains. Instead of an edit, I might want to call it a new/complete rewrite. It's going to be different than the first draft I wrote on here. I decided to share a preview of the first chapter here and you all can tell me your thoughts.

Also, do you all want it posted:

• As a separate book

• I take down the old chapters and reupload the new ones

• Or keep up the old chapters and just have the rewrite on the original book?

Anyway here is some of the rewritten first chapter:

Cadee's POV

Immediately when I pushed the doors open, the intense stench of coffee surrounded me as the bell jingled above me.

That's normal to expect from a cafe, yet I still wasn't prepared. I almost gagged, but I swallowed everything down along with my pride then dragged myself inside. Before I could even take a seat a lady ran up to me.

"How can I help you?" she chirped dusting off her apron with her hand gently.

Maybe let me sit down first, then pester me. But I smiled nonetheless. "Um, a donut would be fine," I said moving past her, only for her to pop up into my view again.

"What kind?" She raised an eyebrow while tapping a notepad with a pencil.

"A long john please, two." I smiled tightly as I slid past her again, to get to an empty and clean table. "The chocolate ones, that will be all. Thank you." I answered quickly before any more questions spurred from her mouth, as I heard a bell jingle.

She nodded with a polite smile before practically skipping away. I let out a sigh of relief and turned to the table I would sit at. When I turned around I noticed someone was already sitting at it. I took a glance around, but it appeared the rest of the tables were full or messy. Finally, I slumped down across from the fellow customer, dropping my bag next to me.

I was sure nobody was sitting here before. He paid no mind to me as he scribbled in a torn up, brown leather journal. But suddenly his forest colored eyes glanced up from the journal and peered down at me viciously.

And there's your little peek into the Rewritten Coffee Stains lol. I actually have 2-3 more chapters I have written! But I don't want to post this book until I have more chapters written.

With all the chaos going on and me prepping for college I know my life will probably get very busy. I know there will be a time my updating schedule is messed up, but I hope to at least get 10 or more chapters updated regularly before then. My plan is to have 10 pre-written before I start posting. Also, the chapters will probably be on Inkitt first.

So when I post the book on Inkitt I will let you all know on my message board so you all can hop on there if you like to check out the chapters a lot sooner. Once I have the chapters done and uploaded on there, two weeks or a month later I will start posting the chapters on here. And yes it's free to read the chapters on Inkitt but if you can, you could go on my profile on there and click the Support Me button! Which the link to my Inkitt profile should be on my bio and message board on here.

Other than that, more on the Coffee Stains Rewrite will be VERY different. You might like it, and you might not. It's okay if you don't like it, but there's no need to leave hate comments. Criticism is fine, but try to remember to look on multiple perspectives and not just your own.

No matter what, the rewritten version is going to be a lot better. I don't care what anyone says. Just from writing two chapters, it's already better lol.
