Here is the sequel to "Anika's life without Shivaay ". I hope that you guys like this shot too.

The calm morning in Oberoi mansion was broken by a loud shout that shook the walls of the mansion. Everyone rushed to the hall and saw Shivaay Singh Oberoi. He was looking different... He was not the old Shivaay Singh Oberoi nor was he the defeated man who had got out of jail. His demeanor emanated wrath and fury. Anika was confused and shocked to see Shivaay so angry... But she was also happy to see him standing tall with all glory. 

The family was shocked and were giving haughty glances unaware of the tornado heading their way. 

Shivaay was looking at everyone with bloodshot eyes with fury that was never seen by anyone so far. Anika was scared and went near him and kept her hand on his shoulder. His tensed muscles relaxed but his murderous rage was still visible. Dadi was shaken seeing Shivaay's anger and Jhanvi stood numbed. Omru and Rivya were bewildered; while the former acted to be strong, the latter were trembling. 

Anika: Shivaay, Kya hua? 

Shivaay looked at her and caressed her left cheek. 

Shivaay: Why are you so good, Anika? 

Anika : Shivaay... I don't get it. 

Shivaay gave a small smile to her and then turned again to the Oberoi family.  And his next word earned shocking gasps from everyone. 

Shivaay: Mrs. Kalyani Singh Oberoi, you always used to say that you value people and relations... And a family must be together in all situations... Good or bad. Am I right? 

All are silent with this sudden question... And are still not out of the shock that he called his daughter Dadi by her name. They were further shocked with the coldness in his tone... A tone which he had never used on his family. A tone which Anika was aware of and that she had not expected him to use for the family. 

Dadi(in a daze) : Yes, but you have done a crime that cannot be forgiven. So you are not family. 

Shivaay(laughing sarcastically) : Yeah, I am not a part of this family. Then who gave you the right to hurt my wife? 

Anika looked at Shivaay with questions but he ignored it as this confrontation was more important. 

Jhanvi : Stop it, Shivaay. She was wrong in supporting you... 

Shivaay: Don't... Still who are you people to hurt her? Did she ask you to support me? Did she ask you to come see me? Did she ask you to forgive me? Did she ask you to pray for me? Did she steal from you? Did she ask for money? Were you insulted by her? Were you humiliated by her? 

These questions along with Shivaay's raising voice petrified them but in their anger they denied being guilty for their acts. 

Om: Shivaay, don't cross your limits. Or else... 

Shivaay : Or else what? And yeah... Coming to you... Who are you to snatch Anika's sister from her? Are you human? Don't interrupt me. Just because you wanted me to suffer seeing Anika in pain, you snatched her only right... Her right of being a sister. You made Anika all alone so that I rot in pain seeing Anika's misery. But she never let me know that you had forbidden her from attending your marriage. She took all the pain on her so that I don't feel guilty. She was happily talking to me about your marriage. And I like a fool thought that your wife would be with her sister. But no.... She is Mrs. Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi. Your wife, the daughter-in-law of The Oberoi family... Not Anika's sister. 

By then Anika was crying so hard that she fell weak on her knees. She never wanted Shivaay to know about her pain. His words wretched her soul that she could not save Shivaay from this bitter truth. Shivaay hearing her sobs held her and made her sit on the couch. When Gauri and Bhavya tried to reach her, Omru stopped them. Shivaay was further enraged seeing this. 

Shivaay : And here comes the most lovely sister. Gauri... You fought with me when I mistreated your sister. Where did all that love go? You got a good husband... And forgot that your sister is being taunted and humiliated everyday... That she is all alone without her husband. But you and Bhavya... Maybe you had given your silent support to her... But both of you did not have the nerve to point out the mistakes of Omkara and Rudra. Being obedient wives, you lost as sisters. 

Gauri and Bhavya were already guilty and this killed them but they knew that they deserve this. So they remained silent. Omru felt something but again their anger blinded them. 

Shivaay: You even ripped off her self esteem and independence. You made her a stranger despite having a family. You made her wallow in her pain just because she is my wife. You taunted her for my crime. Why did you punish her for the crime I had committed? I understand your hatred for me. Why did she have to suffer? Why did she have to bear the brunt of your anger which was for me? And Priyanka... In your hatred for me, why did you hate Anika? You fought with me for her... Even your brothers stood against me for her. She lost her everything in trying to save you. But none of you supported her when she was in need of a shoulder to cry and share her pain. What did she do to you apart from loving you despite your hatred and your mean behavior? 

Anika cried louder but she was shocked at the way Shivaay was talking. His every word were for her and took him away from his family. She was scared that he had got to know everything. She decided to stop him as she feared the end of this. 

Anika(wiping her tears) : Shivaay, please let go. It's OK. 

Shivaay : It's not OK Anika. I am sorry Anika. I regret my decision today. I am deeply regretting for choosing my family over you. 

This jolted everyone including Anika as she had never expected Shivaay to go against his family. She was speechless as she saw the regret and pain in Shivaay's eyes. 

Shivaay : You pleaded to me on that day to say the truth. You believed me blindly though you didn't know the truth. If I was suffering in jail, you also lived the same life here by sleeping on the floor and eating bland food. Still you carried a smile on your face so that I could live in peace. You lost your joy for me. And... Here...my family... They didn't believe me. I stayed quiet for these people. I was ready to bear their hatred and plunge into darkness so that they live happily. But I believed that they would take care of you in my absence. I was wrong. Only if I had told the truth, at least you would have got the support of this family. And even now you are beside me while my family... 

Shivaay chokes on his words while Anika feels miserable seeing her Shivaay in pain. She holds his hand and shakes her head as words fail her... But her eyes reflect immense trust and love. This was enough for Shivaay as he stood to break the most bitter and ugliest truth of his life. 

Shivaay : Yes, I murdered Tej Singh Oberoi. But I don't need your shares or property as I am capable of establishing my own business. Shivaay Singh Oberoi doesn't need anything except Anika... 

Anika looked at him with love and respect as he had defended her from his family. Her pain of five years reduced to some extent. Her thoughts were broken by Shivaay's loud voice. 

Shivaay: Khanna, bring the videos. (turns to the family) And this time, I choose Anika over The Oberoi family. 

Khanna played the videos of Tej accepting his hand in Nancy murder case; his plan to kill Omru; and Shivaay shooting Tej to save Omru. The videos ended. 

Anika was trembling with the revelations and soon Shivaay took her into a warm hug. Dadi sat on the couch with a thud seeing the beast in her elder son; Jhanvi was shattered to see her husband plotting to kill her sons; Omru were numbed with fear and guilt; Rivya were shocked with the revelations; and Priyanka was so broken that she burst into sobs. 

In a few minutes, the mansion and it's people lost their pride. They were not able to meet Shivaay's eyes nor Anika's eyes. The pleads of Anika tortured them; their taunts and humiliations on Shivika tormented them. But now it was too late as they realised that they had hurt Shivika beyond limits in their anger. 

Shivaay looked at everyone and a tear escaped his eye. He never wanted to give them this pain. If only they had hurt him, he wouldn't have been enraged. But when Khanna in his agony told about Anika's plight, Shivaay felt regret and also love for his wife. He realised that he loves her more than his family as her pain pierced his soul. He was furious that his family had left Anika to die a slow death and he was also killing her with his pain and PTSD. Still she was patient and took him out of his nightmares and trauma. Now he must stand by her... For her... For his love.

Dadi: Billu.. 

Shivaay: Please, Dadi. I will happily forgive you for hurting me... My pain is nothing in front of yours. But I can never forgive you for what you did with Anika? What was her fault other than trusting me which you people failed to do? 

Jhanvi : Anika, I... 

Anika : Badi maa, I can forget all my pain as I love you people too much to hold a grudge against you. But I can't forget what Shivaay had gone through. His eyes always longed to see his family whenever I visited him in jail. Your hatred was killing him. Still he beared everything. I can never forget his screams and fear... I will never forget his pain and trauma... I can't... I  can't... 

Shivaay hugged Anika with tears in his eyes while Anika rested her head on his chest and cried her heart out. Shivaay was devastated but he knows that it was the pain of 5 years. He looked at Omru and Priyanka who did not dare to look at him. Rivya were folding their hands asking for a chance to rectify their mistakes. 

Shivaay (takes a deep breath) : Anika, pack your bags. 

Anika jerked and looked at Shivaay with wide eyes. The rest felt like a lightning bolt had struck them. 

Anika: Shivaay... 

Om: Shiv... Shivaay... Ple...please... Don't... 

Priyanka : Bhaiyya... I... Am.... Sorry.... Please... 

Shivaay: Anika, trust me. 

Anika gazes at him and then nods her head with a small smile and leaves to their room. 

Dadi: Billu... Please don't punish us in this way. 

Shivaay stood with a stoic face and soon Anika came with their bags. 

Shivaay: Dadi, erase this line. This is further killing me. And don't worry I will not punish you for the crime Bade Papa did. But at the same time, I cannot ignore Anika's pain. She had suffered a lot because of me. I forced her to marry me... Using Gauri.  (Gauri stumbles)  I insulted her by calling her as my mis... Mistress. I blamed her for Priyanka's accident and pain. And again I hurt her by choosing my family over her. I want to live for her, Dadi. 

Shivaay goes to Anika and cups her face. 

Shivaay : Maybe this is not the right time. But I don't want to delay anymore. I had always feared marriage and love as my parents... (closes his eyes) But now I believe in them and it's because of you. Anika, I... I don't when and how... I  LOVE YOU... 

Anika is surprised and sheds happy tears and hugs Shivaay tightly while the others have guilty smiles on their faces. 

Anika: I love you too, Shivaay. 

They are lost in their confession which breaks with a click and a flash. They turn to see Khanna taking their pictures. But with Shivaay's glare, he takes the bags and rushes out. Shivika turn to the family. 

Anika: Dadi, we will come back soon but still... We need some time to ...all these things... 

Dadi: We trust you. We are not going to do the same mistake again by doubting your words and actions. You deserve to live for yourself too. 

Shivaay leaves without a glance while Anika hugs Rivya and leaves without sparing a glance to the rest. This time is their period to feel the pain and guilt for hurting Shivaay and Anika and they accepted it. They were ready to wait for their chance to earn their forgiveness 

On the other side, Shivaay and Anika began a journey for themselves all alone. They chose their love over their family as this time, it was not their own pain... But the pain of their love. They would return soon but after living for themselves and cherishing their love and making beautiful memories.
