FEEDBACK

*Optional! I don't want any feedback because I'm forcing any of you to. If you'd rather not point out an area of concern about my reviews, you don't have to.

If you've received a review from me, I'd appreciate it if you commented in this chapter or PM me about your experience with the review I gave you.

➵ Whether or not you liked the tips and pointers
➵ if you didn't enjoy any of my views and
➵ your overall satisfaction or dissatisfaction with it.

FEEDBACK is not me wanting you to stroke my ego. It means if the review was shit I'd like you to tell me which parts, and if it was good tell me which parts too. This helps me improve.

WHY?

1. I want you to comment here because I spend a lot of time writing these reviews, and when I get next to no response from said authors I feel like I spent time writing and researching for nothing.

2. Especially when I could be doing better things?

3. I spend hours reading and critiquing and looking for areas of improvement when I could be taking a nap.

And while I enjoy doing reviews myself, I ensure the reviews are fleshy and in-depth just as how if I were submitting my work I would want them to be.

I want feedback, as any other person presenting their thoughts and honest opinions out there. Comment 'Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo' if you've read this.

ALSO: Even if I haven't reviewed your work but you just want to comment on the structure of these reviews and any flaws they have, I'd appreciate that too.

Thank you to the following (and the list is subject to change if there are any feedback in particular that I appreciated deeply):

Thank you for that mention lyttlejoe.

Thanks Heatheranno.

Thank you, AnnaQuin07! 😊

I think your reviews have constructive feedback. You tell me where I need improvement in-line and you ask questions that assure me you read and thought about my book. Most of the points you bring up are related to the craft of writing, but some of them are tailored to your specific tastes. That's absolutely okay (and impossible not to do)! As long as we authors remember that we can't please everyone, having a review done by you is a great way to learn and grow. I appreciate all of your attempts to help me and my terrible cover! Thank you again for all of your time. I really do appreciate it.

Simple words of appreciation make it less strenuous and cumbersome when writing reviews. And if you were dissatisfied too, please tell me where and why so I'll know not to repeat it for future reviews. If you didn't like any of my reviews, feel free to comment those too.

Before you do please observe the definition of feedback before you give me a one-liner:

EX:

Good feedback: The review was very in depth and zeroed in on all my blind spots. The advice given was also great, and the research and links at the end really helped me to get started on writing better-detailed descriptions. I didn't like some of the comments made, like comparing my work to other popular ones and pointing out cliches, but other than that I do appreciate the detailed review. Thank you for your time.

Bad feedback: It was nice. Cool. I really like the book cover it looks kinda cool how'd you make it? Um, thanks for the review i guess lololol.

HAHA

You may proceed to give feedback now if you'd like. The feedback doesn't have to be good, it can be bad and I'll take it. Write without thinking; just write what you thought. Just know that it's not all positives and negatives, and there is always something that could be better.

Please leave your feedback in the comments below.
