If I live forever, I can live now

Authour: seasidewhispers

Genre: General Fiction

Summary:

#88 in General Fiction. Tessa is a wishful and overly anxious medical student that hasn't been able to be herself since her best friend Nora died of cancer. So, when she is assigned to carry out a research project, she immediately knows what she will look into. However, soon, the crossovers between cancer and immortality begin to haunt her, and she finds herself turning her project into a maddening fight to make sure nobody will ever die again. On the road to immortality, she meets Luke, an apparently careless but fascinating student in her research group, who mysteriously disappears after Tessa's revolutionary project is stolen by a big pharmaceutical enterprise. Tessa finds herself lost and alone in a world where everything is changing because of her, but she can't change anything. She is forced to ask herself questions she never really wanted to find an answer to: Even if we escape death, is escaping time and forgetting still impossible? Are we ruthlessly condemned? Or does our final sentence actually save us from the disastrous consequences our wishes would have?

Cover Rating: 5/10

Overall: 8/10

I really enjoyed reading this book. The book is now completed and it has 53 parts to it. I don't normally read general fiction as I usually prefer books that have a specific genre. This book is an exception as It is written extremely well. The book flows nicely and everything intertwines. The book contains very vivid descriptions. The names for each character is thought out very well. I particularly like the character called Africa. It's a very unusual name.

Is this book worth reading? YES!

I love the book and found it thourally entertaining. There are parts that make you laugh, make you cry and it's an all round good book.

I gave the cover a 5 because I don't think it's that good to be honest.
