This incident happened on a certain random day, when Naruto and Sasuke were uselessly arguing over "what's more cowardly".

"Being scared of cockroaches is definitely more cowardly than not being able to handle creepy ghost stories..!", Naruto argued.

"Being scared of something that doesn't even exist is way more cowardly than finding something that does exist to be gross and creepy..!", Sasuke argued right back.

"Even it doesn't exist what's creepy is creepy!!!", Naruto declared.

"Exactly! What's creepy is creepy! So something that does exist is definitely creepier! I mean, it exists!!!", Sasuke yelled desperately.

Since their argument was getting nowhere and was honestly getting dumb and meaningless, a couple of their female classmates decided to intervene and try to make things more interesting.

"Hey, you guys, why not try competing to determine who's more cowardly..?", One of them stated, with all of them smirking slyly.

"Competing..?", that piqued Sasuke's interest immediately, but Naruto narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"That's right, doing something you'd both hate, would show it clearly", another one added cheerfully.

"And what will we be doing..?", Sasuke took the bait, as easily as always - Naruto had a really bad feeling about this.

The third girl placed a pack of pocky on the desk in front of them - smirking widely. While the fourth girl came up from behind them and explained, "Pocky game, the one who chickens out first loses, simple isn't it..?"

Naruto's bad feeling was right. Knowing Sasuke, he'd definitely get provoked and take the bait, so if Naruto backs out before they even start - he definitely couldn't afford to back out and lose now..! - Naruto too, easily got provoked and took the bait.

They were just a little too stupid and smiple minded - you could even say it's one of their charms though.

"Give up now, dobe", Sasuke said in a weird broken way, all the while stubbornly trying not to stop biting into the pocky between their lips.

"No, You give up, teme", Naruto too said in a weirdly broken way, refusing to back out.

In the end they stubbornly went about it all the way and brilliantly kissed - none of the fangirls/fanboys missed this epicly rare moment and perfectly captured it on with phone cameras.

It was one chaotic incident where both the boys dramaticly gagged and over reacted after kissing, even though in all honesty they actually didn't really hate it all that much - Though this was something they were planning to take to their graves since they were both very determined to never let anyone find out that they actually didn't hate it.

This incident was infamously titled, "SasuNaru Pocky Kiss", and soon their fandom thrived more than any BL shipping and achieved the No.1 rank in the routine poll held amongst all the BL fans and shippers alike.

Naruto wanted to scream it out loud but with great difficulty stops himself from doing so. It was honestly not good at all, they were really being widely accepted as a couple -even by people who weren't even into BL shippings- this really was way too widespread and getting out of hand now.

It would be the worst if this ends up troubling Sasuke and he starts hating him. Even though they were getting along so well dispite being homophobic and heterophobic. This was too troubling.

Naruto was completely drowning in his own thoughts and failed to notice the Raven who kept calling out to him.

Sasuke eventually snapped at being ignored and leaned over the desk separating their seats, holding Naruto by the shoulders and shaking him violently, "Oi, dobe! How dare you ignore me?!"

"Wah- Stop- Sasuke- Geez, we literally just ate, I'll puke", Naruto exclaimed through all the shaking.

"What were you ignoring me for then?! Spit!", Sasuke exclaimed right back.

"I'll tell you, please stop shaking me", Naruto pleaded, placing his hands on Sasuke's that were tightly gripping his shoulders.

Sasuke's grip loosened at the contact with the blonde's palm. And he promptly stopped shaking him, "So..? Go on, tell me", he demanded.

Naruto sweatdroped, lightly gripping the raven's hands that were still placed on his shoulders, and starting out awkwardly, "Uh- how should put this- well you see, I was just wondering if you're maybe troubled by us being seen as a couple and such..?" he tried to word it carefully.

Sasuke blinked and casually sliped his hands away from the blonde's loose grip and leaned back on his seat, genuinely confused about what's there to be bothered, and that's exactly what he voiced, "What's so troubling about it..? Isn't it great that no one's bothering us lately cause they all just ship us? I personally like this peace, it's great that all those persistent girls and guys have completely stopped trying to flirt with me too... Were you bothered..?", he questioned, feeling slightly worried.

"No, of course not, I think it's great to be left alone like this too but-", he stopped awkwardly.

"what..?", Sasuke leaned on the desk.

"Well, won't it be troublesome for you if they mistake you're sexuality..?", he asked hesitantly.

"What, it was just that? You had me worried for no reason. I don't really care about that kind of stuff. Whatever they think of me doesn't matter to me, I mean, I was openly homophobic even when I already knew most people thought bad of it", Sasuke smirked proudly, "I don't care about what others think, I know what I am so I'll just be honest about what I like and dislike. If they got a problem with it, it's their problem, got nothing to do with me", Sasuke shrugged offhandedly.

Naruto laughed amusedly, Sasuke really was too similar to himself. Naruto only found more things he could understand and empathize with the more he got to know Sasuke. Even though at first glace they seemed to be complete opposites, they actually had more similarities than differences. It was a wonderful feeling, like having a comrade or a partner for life - though it was embarrassing to think of it this way, he couldn't help but admit it to himself, but certainly not out loud, not yet at least.
