"C-Channie, wait!" Felix was pushing his hands on Chan's firm, built chest. His small hands were pressed against his pecs, trying to avoid a restless Blond from barging into his home.

He had a feeling that Chan wasn't being serious last night. The words that had escaped those pink plumped lips during that phone call were one of comfort for Felix. Just comfort.

Despite their threatening nature, he felt comfort. Felix wasn't one to condone violence, but having Chan seeth with anger at the fact of him being poorly treated with little to no respect, had spread warmth into his heart.

However, that didn't stop the intrusive thoughts to slip their way back into his head after the call had ended. He believed what Chan had said was to put him at ease. He didn't expect Chan to actually go through with his promise.

"Lix, I'm not taking no for an answer." Chan's mind was set on going to work with Felix. He felt sick to his stomach, knowing some guy was disrespecting Felix and his body.

He wanted to rip this man apart. The sudden feeling of jealousy had clouded his mind, him becoming even angrier at fake images of some asshole touching Felix inappropriately. He shook his head, not wanting to believe any of those images he had visioned in his brain were true.

He shouldn't be jealous. Not at a time like this and especially not at this given situation. First and upmost, the fact that Felix has been facing sexual harassment, is enough reason to go through with his threat that he had so effortlessly let slip without a ounce of hesitation last night.

"It's really okay Channie, you don't have to come with me." Felix's heart however was contradicting his words. In reality, the boy really wanted the older to go to work with him.

His heart sped up at the recognition of Chan's care. He wanted Chan to protect him, to keep him safe. He didn't want him feeling up his body so shamelessly.

He was scared, yes. However, he was even more afraid of seeing Chan's reaction to who exactly this person is. Every doubt had flooded his head, thinking of every negative outcome that could come of today.

What if Chan takes his harrasser's side? What if he thinks Felix overreacted? What if Chan is so easily manipulated into thinking Felix had made it all up? His anxious thoughts had started to claw at his mind, he needed to escape to work without the company of Chan.

"Well too bad, you don't have a say in this." Although Chan could tell the nervousness that emitted from the younger body, he forced himself to put his foot down. He needed to make sure the precious boy he held so close to his heart was safe.

Precious. Yes, precious. Felix was precious to Chan. When had their relationship move onto that, he didn't know but he wouldn't trade the feeling, no the urge to protect Felix for any materials in the world.

Chan was a fool. Those now broken promises of not falling for another lingered in his heart reminding him of the fear of heartbreak. He didn't want to be hurt. The unfulfilled vows had forced the older to hold his cold facade, only for the freckled beauty to break his walls down, clearing his heart of any regrets of having a crush.

The power Felix held to soften the distanced male who was once rude to the boy was something quite rare. Quite special.. and Chan didn't want to let that go.

"B-but Channie, I don't want to be a bother-" The words slipped off his tongue so easily, not realising the hurt it brought to the figure standing in front of him.

Felix needed any excuse to divert the taller boy from going through with his plan. Chan however, was making that painfully hard. Stress had started to settle in his heaving chest as the older was making his own plan to be one of failure.

He hadn't noticed the change of demeanour from Chan seeing as he kept his head low, ashamed of making any eye contact with him.

"Don't ever say that again." Felix snapped his head up at the harshness from Chan's voice. His voice was cold but laced with a hint of pain.

Felix was confused. Had he upset Chan? The thoughts of his and Chan's previous messages popped up into his head, remembering that the older Australian would never let Felix speak ill of himself.

"But-" Felix was instantly cut off from his words, interrupted by the voice filled of husk.

"Felix no, I'll be damned if I'm going to let you go to work alone whilst some asshole makes you uncomfortable." Chan was frustrated. Why couldn't Felix just accept his choice?

The constant declines coming from younger was starting to annoy Chan. He wanted to keep the boy safe, that's all he asked for. Why was Felix being so difficult? He hated even more that Felix thought his story was a burden.

His head was starting to scream in pain, he felt as if he was getting no where with this constant back and forth argument. At this rate, Felix would be late.

"Channie-" Once again, Felix was cut off by the strong words of Chan who finally released his rant.

All those bottled up words started to break their way through the cap, overflowing from the intensity of his emotions. His feelings he had harbouring for the younger boy held strength, he wanted to make that vocal.

"I will never be able to forgive myself if I let something happen to you, when I could have easily prevented it! Please.. just try to understand that." Some tears had pricked at the corners of Chan's eyes, threatening to pour out at any further sign of rejection.

He snapped. His emotions were a mess as his mouth let out an explosion mimicking the beating of his quickened paced heart. He didn't care in that moment if he was vulnerable. He didn't care if his feelings were hinted to the younger. He didn't care if his weak heart would be taken advantage of again by easily displaying his feelings, without knowing the other's in return. He didn't care. He just wanted them to be heard.

He wanted his love to be shown to the boy. He wanted Felix to trust him, to feel safe with him. That enough would bring contentment to Chan's cracking heart.

"Okay.." Felix finally gave up as he felt the sincerity in Chan's voice. He knew there would be no use in arguing with Chan about this. He felt bad. He didn't mean to set him off, he was just so focused on the cons that he didn't acknowledge the care that the older was showing to him.

He was grateful. He appreciated Chan so much. From being blocked from his one year crush's phone for two months to now having Chan's eyes laid upon him with such adoration was quite unexpected, but he wouldn't change it one bit.

"Thank you, Baby. Now let's go."
