Her smile always got me as a wriggler. I sigh and look at myself in the mirror. I dyes my stip of hair yellow for the occasion and my suit had a purple tie. I heard that Y/n had dyed a part of her hair purple and is wearing a yellow necklace. I can't believe I'm married to the best woman in the world.

When I first met her, I was so rude. You see, she's Sollux's sister.

"Okay, Eriidan, iif you fliirt once wiith my 2ii2ter, II wiill 2triing you up by your bulge and watch you diie from blood ru2hiing up two your head." I glare at him and throw my scarf over my shoulder. "Sol, anyone from your blood caste is not a friend or lovver of me." "Really now?" A honey-sweet voice rang out in amusement. "Gue22 II 2hould leave then." I turn around to see a troll girl with a smirk on her lips and hands on her hips. She was beautiful, her black hair more cared for than mine and her eyes were peeking from over her shades. "No." I say in unison with Sollux. I blush a little and Y/n giggles. "Y/n, thii2 ii2 Eriidan, a2lo known a2 Fii2hdiick." I bristle at the nickname and glare at the lowblood as Y/n guffaws. "Howw original, Sol." Y/n sniggers and holds out her hand. "Niice two meet you, Eriidan." My heart turned to the human jello stuff and I grab her hand. "Ditto for me." 

"What II don't und2tand iis the controver2y wiith lowblood2 and hiighblood2," She says after hiding in my closet for the second time today. Dualscar isn't the greatest with lowbloods, so whenever she comes over I usually have to hide her when Dualscar goes near my room. "II mean we're mate2priite2 and Gam and Tav are good friiend2. IIt'2 not riight two 2eperate the two ca2te2." I nod my head and continue working on a speech I was making for the Revolt. Y/n pulled me into one of the meetings, insisting it's the right thing to do, and now I have to make a speech as a highblood for the resistance. "You know II love hangiing wiith you, riight?" She threw her arms around my back and read what I had so far. "Y-yes." I blush a little at the contact, but kiss her hand. "I lovve you as wwell." She giggled and kissed me on the temple before rushing out the window. "2ee you at the meetiing, King Bee!" I smile at my new nickname and wave goodbye.

My hands were shaking and my papers were on the podium. "H-hello." Many people shushed their friends and matesprites, ready to listen to what I had to say. "My name is Eridan Ampora, and I am a highblood." I straighten up and look in the crowd for Y/n. She smiles and gives me a thumbs-up. I subtly smile and continue. "I knoww wwhat the highblood are like, and I knoww the harm that has come to everyone. I wwish to correct wwhat my ancestor has done." Everyone looks surprised, except Y/n. She smiles widely and her eyes sparkled. "I knoww a wway that wwe can hit the highbloods the best and wwho are the ones wwho wwish to help us out. Gamzee Makara. Feferi Peixes. Cronus Ampora. Kurloz Makara. Equius Zahhak. Horuss Zahhak." Many people began whispering at the names. "They havve agreed to gather information on wwhat our ancestors have been doing and my beautiful Y/n wwill relay the information to everyone in this meeting, so that wwe havve a fighting chance!" Someone raised their hand. "Yes?" "Are you going to back out on us? Learn our secrets and be a backstabber?" I look at them with a frown and shake my head. "I havve no intentions to do so, and I wwould nevver think of it since so many livves wwould be in jeopardy." Y/n had murder in her eyes and almost went to go fight the person, but I shake my head slightly. I continue talking about what we should do and the plan gets set in stone. We will win this awful resistance! 

"Howv dare you go against your family?" Dualscar snarls at me, his sword at my throat. "You wvill lose the throne." I spit blood into his face and he grunts. Y/n hits him with her weapon and screams, "GET THE FUCK OFF OF MY MATE2PRIIT YOU 2HIIT2TAIIN UPON THII2 PLANET!" He falls, groaning and unconscious. She breathes heavily and wipes a piece of hair away from her face. I smile and hug her tight. He was our last obstacle before the Condesce surrendered to us. Everyone yells joyfully and I lift my beautiful Y/n in the air, laughing and smiling. I kiss her passionately as the flag of revolution is hung up and she looks at me with bright eyes. 

We won. So many lives have been lost, but we won. I adjust my tie once more and Sollux comes into the room. "2o II told you not two fliirt wiith her and now you're marryiing her." He laughs and shakes his head. "II don't beeliieve iit." I smirk. "At least she's not wwith someone you hate, huh?" We chortle and he shoves me out of the room and onto the stand. I pale slightly and Sollux rolls his eyes, smiling. The music begins playing and I gulp. Y/n looked so beautiful in her white, fitted dress and glowing look. I smile and she grins back at me.
