"I swear you two are worse than the actual dogs," A scratched and bleeding Dave said. He was driving his two best friends, who were part animal, to the vet. "Davey, there could be another way," The cooler of the two girls said. Y/n was jittering and disliked car rides, disliked Dave's irony, and disliked vets. Any animal or part-animal who had any sense didn't like it there! Even Jade, the more enthusiastic of the group, had her ears down and a sad look on her face. Ans she was the one that loved car rides, adored the jokes from the Striders, but was still terrified by the vets. "Really, we could just go home and forget the whole ordeal and eat food." The girl tried to coax. At the mention of food, Jade's ears perked back up. "Oh yes, I saw a new burger joint nearby!" She bubbled out. Y/n blushed a little at her peppy friend. Or puppy friend, at least. "No Jade, and no Y/n, food is not on the table. Nor is ignoring the vet." Dave sighed and rubbed his forehead in exhaustion. "The sooner this is done, the sooner we can go home." Y/n sighed and tried to sleep off the horrors called 'Dave's Driving'.

"I find this highly unnecessary," Y/n mewed, tugging at the tag around her neck. She wore a f/c one while Jade wore a green one. "We are not just animals." Dave rolled his eyes behind his shades and pushed the girls into the waiting rooms. "Just don't break the doctor's arm like last time." Dave closed the door and locked it, making the hybrids flinch. Y/n's ears flopped against her head and her tail lowered. Jade's ears were twitching around and her tail was fluttering about nervously. They sat on the bed and waited for the doctor.

Okay, so the doctor survived with only a sprained ankle, which Y/n thought was her just going easy. The girls have gotten shots, and it made Y/n feel a little loopy. She hated this. She always acted like a drunk dog. 'Not that dogs aren't that bad,' Y/n thought. "I know a cute doggy." She said aloud, falling off the bed. Dave came in to see a calm Jade and a loopy Y/n. He smacked his forehead and groaned, asking Jade to help the cat-human hybrid to the car. "Jade, what if we could fly?" Y/n asked. "We could snuggle in the clouds." Jade blushed a little; the shot seemed to have mellowed her more than making her doped up. "No, we should snuggle on the couch!" Y/n said, giggling a little. "The clouds would be too cold and cold stuff is icky." Y/n held up her arms and Jade held her up, placing the slightly smaller girl on her back. "WHOA JADE YOU CAN SEE ALL THE FUCKING TREES!" Y/n squealed. "Wait, are we going to fall? "She gave the dog-hybrid a panicky look. "I don't wanna be like Evan Hansen." She began having tears well up and she held tight to Jade. "Jadey-cakes, I don't want you to be Connor and me Evan." She began sobbing into the back of Jade who smiled and was suppressing laughter. "Y/n, we're not even outside yet." "Really?" The girl sniffed. "Really. Let's go home and watch some Disney movies." Y/n nodded and curled her head by Jade's neck, making the other girl blush a deep red.

"DAVE I SAW A BIRD, IS HE RELATED TO YOU? DAVE, IT'S YOUR LOG LOST COUSIN." Y/n screeched. To explain, Y/n had thought that Dave looked like a Sunny D bottle and had wings. "I will name him Geraldo and he will be your wife, since I know you like dick." Y/n said in a happy and innocent voice. Jade burst out into laughter and Dave was muttering the words to his favorite song to calm him down. Right when they got into the car, Jade had pulled out her phone, so this was all going to be going on Instagram as soon as possible. "But I don't like dick." Y/n mused. "Or not as much as you. I like girls." She nodded and giggled to herself. "Jadey, can you keep a secret?" She was whispering real loud. "What is it Y/n?" Jade giggled. "I think there is too much sexual tension between Dave and Geraldo and Karkat. Karkat likes Dave's dick, but Geraldo is a jealous birb who loves his cousin. Oh wait that's incest, ewwww." "Oh my God." Jade started dying of laughter as Y/n looked at her with an expression of realization. "DAVE KARKAT LIKES YOUR DICK!" She shrieked. "OH MY GOD Y/N HONEY, SHHHHHH!" Dave yelled, red covering his face. 

Soon, poor Dave dropped off the useless, giggly cat and howling dog. "Jadey, I wanna watch Aristocats!" Y/n shouted and tripped over herself. Jade obliged and helped the girl back up. She pet the ears of Y/n and she started purring. "Jadey I have another secret that you can't tell my Jadey-pup, okay?" Y/n said in a whisper. Jade colored a little but nodded. "I like her," She bounced up and down, her eyes sparkling. "I like like her, and she's a precious snowflake that is too pure and only likes dick." Y/n got a sad expression on her face. "She doesn't like me!" She wailed and Jade blushed hard. She placed the kitten on the couch and curled under a blanket with her. The movie began playing and Y/n began to snuggle up the Jade and purred. "Everybody wants to be a cat," She mumbled off-key. "Because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at." She looked up confused at Jade. "Where what's at? Is it Jadey-pup?" Jade laughed and kissed the kitten's forehead. "I hope so, Y/n." Y/n blushed a bright red and her tail curled around her. She eventually fell asleep when Jade put in another movie.

"Delete, you bald mango." 
"But Y/n, you were so perfect in this!" 
"Shut up and take it down right now, that video was from two years ago!"

"Fine."

"I took it off Instagram, but it's on my secret hard drive."
"GODDAMNIT YOU SICK PUP." 
"I love you too, Y/n."
