**Let's start with a flash back**

"Eriidan!" She said with a sweet smile. The troll in question looked up from a physics book he nicked. "Wwhat, Y/n? Can't you sea I'm in the middle of--" he got cut off by the girl saying " I have something for you!" She stuck out her tongue while grinning. "F-for me?" the boy troll said, amazed; he isn't the most liked out of any group. "Yes, silly! You're my moirail after all." She giggled. She took a thin package that said 'For a wizard, from a music note!'. Eridan opened the package, blushing a little at the nickname. It was a circle with a rainbow shining on one a clear side. "Wwhat's this?" He questioned. Y/n smiled and took it. "Hey! I liked it, I just don't knoww wwhat it is." He pouted. She just smiled and inserted it into a nearby husktop. Ba-ding! It had a little Play button on the screen and Y/n clicked it. It started spouting out a ton of awesome songs, like Dead, Ain't it Fun, Folding Chair, Rolling girl, all that jazz. Y/n took Eridan's hands and spun him around, making his purple cape fly about. He laughed and he couldn't face the fact that this girl, Y/n, was only his moirail. She was the only one who could make him smile and laugh. Suddenly the music stopped. Y/n pounced and stopped the disk. "Wait! Don't hear it yet! It's the last song." She blushed and took the disk out. "Here." Eridan stared at the disk and took it, his fingers overlapping Y/n's. They stood there for a moment, then Y/n enveloped Eridan in a hug. "Listen to the last song when you think the time is right." She released him and ran out the door. "Bye Eriidan!" She trilled. Eridan smiled and replied "Bye Y/n! Thanks a lot for the present!" She was already about a block away from the house, but she heard. She blushed, but instantly stopped. 'Hmm. Maybe I should take the shortcut home. Don't want to be out after dark.'  Y/n thought. She turned to the left and followed a little creek that went through the back roads. Skipping she sang the last song. Until she got jumped. Two men held her down, their filthy hands. "Well, I think we found Y/n L/n." One chuckled. "Her guardian still owes us plenty if money, doesn't he, Jack?" Jack nodded and replied "Shame. This girl looks cute. Too bad no one will see her smile again." And with that, Jack took out a dagger and stabbed Y/n in the chest. Warm blood flowed, and Y/n couldn't breathe. She only stared up and thought 'Goodbye Eriidan.' The police didn't find her til an hour later, the culprits never found. Eridan didn't figure out til four days after. He heard rumors at school, asked his parents, and went to her funeral. She was wearing a f/c gown, black stockings and white flats. All her friends were there. All her friends were crying. Eridan was sobbing and he wouldn't do anything for months.

**End of flashback**

It's been two years without Y/n. Two years without smiles, contagious laughter, smiles, and music that's worth singing. Two years without my live moirail. I was cleaning out my closet when I found the thin package from her death day. Excitedly, I inserted it into my husktop. I listened to each song, but each one had a sad tone. I couldn't dance to it without my partner. I can't laugh like I did before. Then silence. The last song. I guess it's time. It wasn't a song though. It was a recording. "Hi my moirail!" Y/n's voice was just as energetic as before! I haven't heard it in so long, the sweet voice that sounded like bells. Tears started welling in my black eyes. "I just wanted to say that... I uh... Oh frick it! I have red feeling for you! But it's okay if we stay friends, if you don't like me that way." Her voice was sad now. The tears started tipping out. "But I'm serious! I'm fine with the rejection, as long as we keep our awesome pale friendship, I'll be happy." I could hear her smile through the words. "Together always, til the end, my best friend!" *CLICK* "Wwait! NO! I wwant to hear her again! I wwant to sea her!" I begged, purple tears dripping. Then the last song started playing. But in Y/n's voice.

"Well I was there on the day

They sold the cause for the queen.

And when the lights all went out,

We saw our live on the screen.

I hate the ending myself,

But it started with an alright scene.."

I sobbed harder and harder, full out screaming. The song ended. "I miss you Y/n. I miss you and I nevver told you... I nevver told you I lovve you." I whispered. I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I know, I hear her voice. Just one last time, without the recording, without any scratching noises like the disk had. "It's okay, Eridan. I'll be here for you. I will always love you. Forever."
