Dear Tavros-

I love you, flushed for you, however you say it. You helped me when Eridan was flirting with me and you helped me when I am down. I could never ask for a better friend! I love the way you talk and laugh and smile. I love the way you don't mind the crazy Y/n that I am. Thank you. But, for the main reason of this note, I was wondering. Could you be my matesprit?

Oh my dear gog. This is my fourth letter, and it's still cheesy as hell! Hmm. I wonder how cheesy hell is. I stuffed the note in a b/c envolope and seal it with a sticker of a cute little chibi bull. I wish he might say yes! I started humming, singing even, to one of our favorite songs.

Continuing down the lane, I pass my moirail Eridan's house. I know crazy, but he can be a real nice guy. I want to stop, but I keep moving forward. I pass Roxy and Calliope's, Dirk and Jake's, and finally I see Tavros's house. A big baby blue colored house stood with a nice lawn and several dandelions sprouted around. I knock in the door waiting for the usual "cOME IN!" made by the sweet, adorable--- stop it, Y/n. I tried my best to take a couple deep breaths when I hear a THUMP! I look through the window of the house, and I see a pair of familiar horns. Tavros standing up. Wait... STANDING UP?! I took off running to the door and barged open. "Tavros you're walking!" I yell happily. "y/N,, Hi!" He smiled shyly and went a bit closer. "I uh, wanted to drop this note off for you. Someone gave it to me to give to you." I lie. My voice had a small tremor, and Tavros could obviously hear. "wHAT'S WRONG?" he asks, sort of worried, sort of concerned. "Nothing, Tav. I just had a lot of work." I smiled to show that the lie was the truth. "well, I got to fly! See you soon, okay?" I hugged him quickly. Sad. I used to be taller than him but now he's a head taller than me. He slightly stiffens but then wraps his arms around. "oKAY. sEE YOU IN A BIT." I release and run to the door. A slight wave, and out into the air, sun, and concrete. I rush to my house, a light f/c cottage with white curtains edging my windows. Slowly walking through the door, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Closing the door, trapping the cold in, and sliding to the floor. I stare at my knees, a little patchy from rollerskating. I sigh, thinking of the rust blood troll. I'm a hopeless cause... Sighing again I get up and head towards the kitchen. Grabbing flour, sugar, butter, chocolate chips, baking soda, vanilla extract, etc. I start baking. Baking is my hobby, and I can make anything! Jane Crocker, my best friend, is always baking with me. Quickly inserting a CD, I listen. I listen and sing. The smell of cookies fill the air, my favorite songs playing, and no one here to hear me. I hope.

Tavro's POV------

I was a little confused why y/n ran, I mean, I know she's not frightened of me. And she seemed pretty happy that I could walk. I opened the letter. Shock is the only emotion I feel until I feel my ears heating up, then my face. She likes my laugh? My smile? I help her? I smiled chuckling to myself. I don't have to admit my flush for her without it being one-sided! Having a grin on my face, I walk to her hive, clumsily. Still don't have the hang of my legs. I bump into a few mailboxes and reach her door, smelling chocolate chip cookies. Oh my Gog, they are to die for. And then I hear a voice. Y/n's voice. She was singing a song.

"I'm an angel with a shotgun

And I wanna live not just survive tonight.." 

He voice was crystal clear, and when It stopped I felt empty. I want her to sing always. I sneakily walk into the house while she sings the next song at the high note. Until I ram into a chair. "oW!" I yelp. The music is paused and I heard a scurry to the living block, where I am. "Tavros?" She saw me and erupted in a red blush. "w-why are y-you here?" She stutters, shifting on each foot. I look at her in a new light. Her soft h/l h/c hair and her shining eyes were a brighter color. "i UHH,, rEAD THE NOTE." And cue the face blushing. "i UM,, wANTED TO SAY THAT.." I begin awkwardly, and her face kind of fell, like in sadness. "wHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE ME THE NOTE EARLIER?" Her reaction was slow; first her e/c eyes widened and her smile was curving. I walked over to her and she hugged me again, but not as rushed. And not as stiff. "y/N," I say. "Yeah, Tavros?" She looks up and her eyes twinkle. "wOULD YOU MIND ME ANSWERING WITH A YES?" I hear a slight squeal. "I would never mind, Tav." She nuzzled into my chest and we just stood there. And smiled.

*** Hai, Sorry I didn't write in a while, my schedule's been a little crazy with Roller Derby, School, Book Club and friends! (AKA, I have a life you know) ((Okay, that was mean sorry)). But I promise I'll try to write as often as possible. Also, #Killjoy. I miss My Chemical Romance T^T. Bye for now! 

PS: I might do a Dirk or Dave x reader 'cause the Striders are the best!
