I shakily hold the note close to my chest. What if I messed up? What if I put it in the wrong cubby? "Eridan, it's circle time!" I nod and quickly slide the note into the f/c colored cubby and rush off. "Finally, Eri!" Y/n giggled and held my hand. I blush and we listen to the teacher tell a story.

"Hey, Ampora!" Y/n hugged me tight, a sad smile on her face. "Wwhat happened?" I ask, bending a little lower to match her height. Her eyes instantly burst into tears. "He-he didn't ever care, he never cared about me!" She sobbed into my long sleeve tee. I pet her beautiful h/c hair as she stayed with me. I calm her down and She smiles up at me. "I really thought her was the one giving me the notes and totally ruined it all for him." I feel my heart go faster as she mentioned the notes I've been placing in her cubbies and backpacks since we were wrigglers. "You'll find him soon, I knoww it." I sooth. She sighs and lies on my chest. "Thanks, Eri." "No problem."

"I don't think I can do this." Y/n whispered in my ear, agitatedly. "Y/n, you are the smartest, most perfect human I knoww, and I knoww a lot of them." I smile and she beams. "Thanks, Eri!" Y/n kisses me on the cheek before heading into the classroom full of other test-takers. I place my hand on my cheek and blush bright violet. I could see her greeting the teacher cheerily and look over at the door. Y/n throws me a thumbs-up and I do the same. She can do this.

"I still don't know who's been writing me the silly love notes." She said, her head on my stomach. We are in our new college dorm, just having finished unpacking. Y/n held up a box about the size of a loaf of bread. I felt my heart drop when I heard she thought them to be silly. "Don't get me wrong, I love them," She continued. "But I actually want to know who they are. They've been passed to me since preschool." I shrug and hide my face in my favorite book. "it's almost as if they've been by my side for all of my life." Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, Gog please spare me. "Oh?" I try to sound convincing with my curiosity. She places her head on my chest, she almost on top of me. I try to focus on my book, not working. Someone please help me. "I swear I know him for certain." I look down at her, and her eyes held a mischievous glint. Y/n took my book out of my hand, the note I was going to give to her on the first day of college falling out. I blush bright violet and she chuckles. I push myself up and she sits close to me. "I love you, you cheesy dork." "I lovve you too." I mumble, covering my mouth with my scarf. She rolled her eyes and pulled me close. "Y/n, wwhat-" And then my brain couldn't function. Her eyes were closed and her lips were on mine, having shoved the scarf off. I yelp and she grins into the kiss. I felt her pull away, but I don't want it to stop. I pull her close again by the cheeks and kiss her deeply. She smirks and I place a hand hesitatingly at the back of her head. When we break away, she pants a little. Oh, yeah, humans only can breathe through their nose and mouth. I blush darkly and she grins at me. "Now I definitely know who it is." She kisses me on the cheek and lies with me on the floor, content with our silence.
