"Y/n! Do you have the costume on?" The dark haired girl barged into the respite block. Y/n L/n, troll from Alternia, was wearing a f/c dress with bloodstains. "J-jade? This is a customary thing, right?" Y/n was blushing b/c, and was crossing her arms over her chest. "Sure is! I'm going to be a puppy though, I have all the things already!" Jade chirped. Jade was wearing white dog ears and a white tail,  and a white dress with stockings. Y/n's blood-stained dress made her a zombie girl. She held out her hand, and the gray skinned girl hesitantly took it. They walked out of the small house and walked to a blue house, just a few blocks down. The door was knocked, and burst open making the night air full of noise. John was at the door dressed as a ghost buster, and grinning like a madman. "Finally here!" He bellowed and ushered the couple in. The music was loud, the food table was full, and the dancing was wild. Jade pulled Y/n's hand, laughing and began dancing. The whirl and twirling of the music made Y/n laugh and she began enjoying the crazy fun of the costumed people. The dances lasted four minutes a piece, each one getting wilder and wilder till one song began to slow down. The blond boy, unnoticed by the couple previously, shouted into a microphone. "Okay, everybody! Nepeta needed to see some ships sail, so get with your partner and dance to this!" Jade took Y/n's hand and put one on her shoulder. The other holding the pale skinned girl's. Y/n was blushing terribly now, but smiling. They danced in a slow circle, enjoy the peaceful playing of the song. Jade grinned, loving the happiness on the troll's face. She slowly leaned in and kissed her partner on the cheek. "Love you, Y/n." "R-red for you too."
