A mountain of stuffies were stored in his closet where not even his best friend Y/n can find them. She gave up her stuffed animal long after her eighth birthday, but Jake loved his stuffed puppy. He couldn't help but keep collecting, even at sixteen. Until, of course, Y/n decided to snoop in his closet and clean it for him. He was cleaning the rest of his room and talking on the phone with Roxy. "No, Roxy, I'll be fine going to the Grand Canyon. Y/n and I will be taking a great trip and no worrying words will change our minds." "Jake?" Y/n poked him slightly. "Not now, N/n. Roxy says hello." He continued talking, but then Y/n grinned. Might as well used the stuffed animals to her advantage. With her great h/c ears, she could hear if Jake was done talking to Roxy. She quietly took out the boxes of stuffed animals and made a pile by the bed. Jake was sorting through his movies and thought the shuffling around was her organizing his jackets. "Aww, a penguin!" She whispered and Jake turned around. His happy grin dropped to a mortified face. Y/n giggled and jumped off the bed to land on the stuffed animals, only her tail to be seen in the mound of fluff. "Rox, I'll call you back, toodles." He turned off his phone and Y/n yelled, "Jump, Jakey! It's so soft." "Y/n, get out of the stuffies and put them back!" He was blushing a bright red and his tail was in between his legs. "Nah." "Y/n!" He whined and tried to pull the girl out by her tail. "Ow, jerk!" Y/n huffed and got out, holding the penguin stuffie close. "You shouldn't have found those." Jake mumbled, embarrassed. "I should have gotten rid of them years ago." Y/n smiled brightly and hugged her best friend. "Jakey, it's cute. You shouldn't be ashamed of having your stuffies from when we were pups. I like them!" Jake scratched his ears in an embarrassed manner. 'C'mon, jump in the pile and let's watch a movie!" Y/n urged. "But I need to clean out the rest of my room-" "-And we can do that later! Get your tail over here!" Jake reluctantly plopped beside the girl and turned on the television with a remote. She snuggled close to boy and both of their tails wagged. Y/n kissed Jake on the nose, and as his face turned red, she watched the show. Jake really didn't know what to do with the girl, but one thing was for certain; she was much better at cuddling than a stuffie.
