"Y/n. Y/n, it's me." A light hand shook your shoulder, making you turn in your warm bed. "Y/n, you have to get up, I have french toast ready," Rose Lalonde coaxed. You were up and ready, wearing striped pyjama pants and an f/c tee shirt. "Foood." You moan. Rose smiles and ruffles your bedhead. She knew your weakness, besides her and books. Novels, the reason why you two had fallen for each other. As you walk down the stairs, you remember that today is the anniversary in which you two fortunately met. 

*Flashback*

Humming a slight tune, you skip to the library, anticipating the new release of "Echo" by Pam Muñoz Ryan. "Mrs Synica, may I please see the new releases?" You ask the librarian. She chuckles and replied, "Oh, go ahead. You and Ms Lalonde are both eager kids, might as well let you both have it." You wonder who this 'Lalonde'  is and walk toward a shelf. 'RYA, RYA, RYA... Ah, yes, 'Echo'...' You reach your hand up and lightly touch the spine of it as a pale hand reaches too. You look to see a girl slightly taller than you in a black dress with a pink sash. "Oh, please, take the book." She hands it to me, smiling. "No, no, it's fine, you grabbed it." You say politely. You were raised to be a good child, after all. "Well thank you." She tucks the thick book under her arm. "I am Rose Lalonde, and you are?" Holding out your hand you respond, "Y/n L/n. Pleasure to meet you!" You show a big grin as she shakes your hand softly. "Oh, so you met each other!" Mrs Synica make me jump and blush. "Yes, thank you for letting us borrow the book, Mrs Synica." You both chorus, making you blush even more. Why are you always making your face red? Maybe because of the sudden butterflies when talking to Ms Lalonde. (Maria: SOMEONE'S IN LOOOVEEE Y/n: STFU) "Y/n?" You jump again and realise that Rose was talking to you. She gives you a strange look and says, "Is it a yes, or a no?" "U-um, sorry I was spacing out. What was it that you said?" You say embarrassed. "Would you like to go to a coffee shop with me? i know a very good one nearby." You get to hang out with Rose more?! "Sure, sounds awesome!" You agree. You both walk out the doors smiling, talking about books. 

*End*

"Y/n, must you space out all the time?" Rose said exasperated. "Yes, to annoy you and to dwell on thoughts to mystify you." You kiss her cheek and wrap your arms around her waist. "Well, would you like to go to the library later today?" She says with a very light pink blush. "Yes, with coffee, my treat." You both eat and get ready for your next adventure. Together, smiling and talking about books.
