I look at Gamzee, my eyes bursting with tears, the same as how my stomach has burst from a shot of Eridan's gun. I felt the life draining out of me, blood gushing out of the hole in my abdomen. The pain is immense and I feel like passing out from blood loss.

"YoU-yOu'Ll Be MoThErFuCkIn OkAy, Y/n," Gamzee said, frantically trying to patch up my wound with his shirt. "EvErYtHiNg Is GoInG tO bE oKay." A desperate tone could be heard in his voice, only making me cry harder.

"Gamzee, I can't," I sob. "I don't want to do this."

His indigo eyes, barely visible in the pain induced haze, were dripping with light purple tears. He stops trying to help me. He knows it's no use. I squeeze his hand hard and my cries go softer. His hand softly pets my face, the warmth of his hand differentiating from my cooling skin.

"I dOn'T wAnT yOu To Go." He says in a choked up voice. "I dOn'T wAnT yOu DeAd." I shudder at the word. I am dying, I am almost dead. Gamzee places my head on his lap and cradles it softly, his hands weaving through my hair. I felt my eyes get droopy, the pain slowly melting away. I am beginning to feel numb. It starts at my chest, the ache disappearing as my weariness grows. I am so tired.

So this is what it feels like to die. This is how I die.

Gamzee sobs and kisses my forehead repeatedly. Little raspy whispers and promises of continue to love me are fading in and out of my head. I raise my weak hand to pat him on his cheek. He leans down and I kiss him slowly, the saltiness of tears melding with the sweet taste of Grape Faygo.

My last breath. Our last kiss. I hold his hand, my grip falling away.

The next sound I hear is one that terrifies me and breaks my heart more than it already is.

The scream of a broken, raging Gamzee.
