Bars Are Not Just For Drunkards And Hookers (Douchestuck!Jake X Reader)
**Jegus, I don't know how to write this. I feel like I'm making Y/n go out with the shits at my old school and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'll try to make him... nicer?... to you guys. Meanwhile, I'll make you badass in the story. Sorry it's been a while, I've been practicing lines and making biographies more than working on Wattpad, which has actually been a lot more damaging to me than I thought. I really do like writing on this. Now, to the story!**
"Fuck off, I don't want your bullshit." I heard the girl mumble. I was at the local bar, trying to get Strider to notice me when I heard that. She was bartender, and let's just say that she gets hit on. A bit too often in my opinion, but who cares? "I have to right to throw people out of my goddamned bar, so if you want to continue to harass me you're getting thrown out without your whiskey sour." She threatened to one of the guys. The man chortled and kept talking to her, saying stuff even I wouldn't say. "Hey Y/n, why don't you come over and-" "Chop your dick off with a knife?" Y/n held up a good sized, deadly knife up from her pockets and smiled. "I'll gladly do that." The man paled and Y/n takes him by the cuff of his tee shirt and throws him out the door! "Anyone else want to make comments about me?" She sneered the rest of us. Feisty. I guess it's not only Strider I want now. Everyone went back to their conversations and drinks, not anting to get eye contact with the girl. Which is what I don't do but probably should have because her glare can pierce souls. "Well?" I stare at her blankly. Her hair fell over her face and covered one of her eyes. She humphed at it and brushed it out of her face. "What do you want to say?" "I don't want to say anything," I answer. "At least, nothing offensive." She rolled her e/c eyes and I smirked. "What do you want to drink? You seem worthy of time." She said. I chuckle and she gives me my preferred drink. "Want to talk a little?" I ask. "No one's ordering anytime soon." I give her a little wink and she raises her eyebrow. "Guess I could take a little break," She said under her breath. "LYDIA, TAKING MY BREAK NOW!" The other bartender nodded and continued making drinks for people. She sat on a stool behind the counter and held her head in her hands. "Today's your lucky day, um-" "Jake English at your service." "Jake. I like that name. Anyways, what'cha want to talk about?"
For the rest of the night, I ignored the nerdy blond boy I was originally going after and focus all of my attention onto the strong-willed, h/c girl. She was very fascinating, for she wasn't like the rest of the girls. She preferred actual music compared to floozies with their love of Jacob Whats-His-Name and Justin Bieber. She has a major passion for f/a (Favorite activity) and her eyes lit up at the slightest mention of something pertaining to it. She could go on very intelligent rants on the silliest stuff, but could make you nod your head about her conspiracy theory about 9/11. She is such a beautiful person. "Jake, you seem like a nice person," She mused, her head in her hands. Y/n eyes sparkled alluringly. "Maybe after work on Friday we could take a date?" I flushed a little at her bluntness. She grinned and I smirk at her. "Took one night to love me, eh girly?" I drawl out. She laughs and rips a paper out of her ordering booklet. She scribbled her series of numbers and kissed me smartly on the cheek. "See you Friday, Lover-Boy." That was the first time a girl or guy had ever made me speechless. I grip tightly to the spunky girl's number as she gives me one last wink. I grin to myself and walk out of the bar, with not the person I wanted, but someone much better.
